Decided to give them a break from nutrients this week and gave them a good watering without any nutrients to clear out the soil, will start feeding again with next feed. The girls are growing well. I keep thinking the Candy Kush plant 2 is going to be ready in a week then deciding to leave her for another couple of weeks. I'm hoping she'll be ready this coming Monday, she'll be 78 days and I'm running out. The other girls look like then need another 3 weeks at least. The buds are getting fatter every day :D These last few weeks test my patience so much.

Borked the time tracking on the previous diary weeks, both are still going strong. Microgreens are also coming up fast. 17/07: Forgot to take Day 42 photos for both girls, my apologies as my wrists have been giving me hell but will get some more up soon. I've been keeping with the same watering schedule, some bud sites are being shaded by fan leaves so I'm trying to VERY carefully bend them down to prop up the little bud sites better. I've rubbed my fingers on some of the fan leaves to get rid of whatever weird white dust is ending up on my leaves, probably just debris from the air and the fan might need a cleaning soon but holy shit my fingers smell strong like Pomegranate and fruits. It's getting quite addictive to smell the bud sites and rub that resin of her fan leaves, I wish I could describe it better but damn it smells good. If the resin is any indication of the final smoke I know that the Grapefruit is gonna be dank. Can't wait till drying + harvest time :)) 18/07: Plucked off some lower burnt leaves that were really old, snipped off two more big fan leaves shading new bud sites and removed the stumps from old leaves rather making those closely cut down stubs instead so no bug invaders can get a free home. :P Humidity has been ridiculously high today >~65% and dropping now in the evening after the rain has stopped to <~60%, I added some Sodium Bicarbonate in plastic jars around the tent to help pull out water from the air. (18/07: Seems to be helping, I'm seeing about a ~2-5% drop overnight and this morning, usually the humidity in the morning before+after rain is ~60-65%) 20/07: The paper ref regarding RH and Bicarb. of Soda: W.-Y. Kuu et al. / International Journal of Pharmaceutics 166 (1998) 167–175 / PII: S0378-5173(98)00049-0 - I don't know how or why but keeping temps at ~21-23C drops the RH down to a stable mid-low 50's range. Thank fuck now I don't have to drop tonnes of money on a huge dehumidifier... Occam's razor baby :) 21/07: Had to move the light, fan, carbon filter and literally everything. Some minor shit for the cover broke on top of the CaCl -RH% and the bicarb got knocked over. Wiped, sprayed down and cleaned out the fan filter as well. What a fucking start to the day... 31/07: GG XL is in Week 7 now, so getting well into flower, growing at an exponential rate and starting to give off a very subtle smell, Grapefruit smells quite noticeable now too. 03/08: GG XL ending week 7, getting massive. ~77-78CM now. Had to defoliate the Grapefruit since leaf miners were still assaulting her, hopefully this helps get more light and airflow into the bud sites, been having humidity issues but can't do much.

The berry scent is intensifying and the buds are fattening up pretty good. Since I should be done with the harvest pics from the auto crop I can prob start taking some pictures next week. Only change this week was humidity dropping it's getting cold here. I've been defoliating a little bit here and there every time I feed but nothing too heavy.

July 5th. Day 42 post flip. Wanna start by saying happy 4th of July to all my American friends and to everyone out there. Unfortunately seeing some signs of what looks like nutrient toxicity. Did a long analysis of what I’ve been giving it and determined it’s been getting a boat load of calcium but not a whole lot of magnesium. This means for this weeks tea it’s getting nothing but recharge and some epsom salts. Was going to defoliate but I’m seeing a lot of Trichomes on the fan leaves so I’m actually going to leave as is. Buds are not the largest but the amount of bud sites and their density makes up for it. The smells coming off this thing are amazing and the concentration of globular Trichomes I’m seeing under magnification has me very excited about the potency of this strain. At this point because of the burn this will be my last tea of the grow. Going to let the microbes and left over matter finish the job for the next 4-5 weeks. God bless and happy growing everyone

La Kosher Kush de la derecha abajo, tiene las hojas más finas y es más alta, las otras 3 Kosher Kush tienen las hojas más gruesas, la del medio abajo tiene un poco de color morado en el apical. Las Kandy Kush se parecen bastante, un poco más altas la de los laterales, pero se las ve bastante bien. Las Lemon Krystal son pequeñas y no se nota mucho, pero la del centro izquierda, tiene las hojas un poco más anchas. Si os fijáis en la de abajo izquierda, tiene una planta pequeñita al lado que es la anterior 1024 que se quedo una ahí en la tierra y la otra la saqué y la puse en una maceta de cactus, que también ha germinado, pero les ha costado, por eso están fuera y tenemos las Lemon Krystal, en el próximo trasplante, la sacare y la pondré en alguna maceta por el patio. Se han trasplantado a maceta de 6L.

Harvest: Everything dried up to 347 grams + 96 grams of super high quality trim. Overall I am not too pleased with the smoke of the product. Although the bud size, bag appeal, smell and taste are pretty much all there, the shitty burn is a deal breaker for me and the majority of this weed is quite frankly useless. Another downside is while smoking I’ve found 4 seeds in an ounce from almost every strain. Light leaks? At least I learned a ton, including how to get super good burn for my next crop. I’m hoping that curing for a month or so will improve the burn but I wouldn’t really count on it. I have seen weed dried for 4 days with no cure and no flush smoke clean and not go out once. I have been told that the key to white ashes/clean burn is proper mineral content in the soil and there is tons of scientific studies on cigar ash going back 100 years. Plants grown in a medium with high levels of decomposing organic matter, phosphorus, magnesium, chlorine and heavy metal ratio tend to produce black/grey ash. Whereas plants grown in a medium with a higher ratio of trace minerals like calcium carbonate and potassium in the form of wood ash, rock dusts, oyster shell flour and lower levels of decomposing organic matter will produce a dense, uniform white ash that rarely goes out. But this is still all theory until I test it to confirm for myself a few times. My last few outdoor harvests did not improve with curing at all so I’m hoping this will be the missing link. Plain peat moss and coco clearly lack essential minerals that help burn. If said theory is correct I should find a synthetic nutrient line with more trace minerals. Makes me wonder if growing if rockwool/basalt rock could improve burn in a hydro setup. I think I did a fairly decent job for my first grow. I went wrong in a million different places but I still stuck it out and got some decent herb. Things went wrong early when I got black spot mold, nitrogen/magnesium deficiencies and powdery mildew. I corrected most of it but things didn’t get really bad until mid veg when I intentionally skipped a few feedings and defoliated quite heavily stunting the plants. I also didn’t even top or start LST until the 6-9th node which was really stupid and hurt my yield. My temperatures were all over the place from the learning curve. I was severely overwatering without realizing it. 100% peat moss is a shitty medium. I also fed way too late in flower (not what caused shitty burn). I also used synthetic nutrients in soil. 420Fastbuds Week 7 FBT2102 The two of these girls are growing great. They are stacking up nice and having very minimal stretch. They're looking a little droopy I probably should have fed them before the lights went off. They are showing no signs of any nute issues but gave them a good spray down with some Dr. Zymes as I thought I seen something on another plant. Also gave the tent and good cleaning and wiped everything down with antibacterial wipes. Happy Growing

LSD has gone crazy over the last week, insane bulk-up in her buds, from top to bottom, in by the stock and out to the tips, she's just bulky, dense, sticky, frosty and incredible! By far, the best looking results from any of my LSD grows. Green Crack also looks incredible and the rest of the ladies, while doing awesome, will be their final grow in my garden. #1 foliage is mark from the spider mite issue also saw some caterpillar having a feast her buds are still putting weight tho....breed another branch with a different tree also....at least if not able to save buds after treatment should be able to get two different breeds out of her... #2 she is getting fatter by the weeks...might do some trimming up or might jus leave her as she is
