Anyways... at first we didnt think she was going to make it but since amnesia is super fast and strong she did so. We could have waited a little longer for harvest and probably get better yield but we really didnt think it was going to make much difference at that time.... Of course, every single seed is a new experience for me every time, which is good because i keep learning In the other hand, sucks because you waited this long and didnt get what you expected, just keep trying until u get better right!? xD! haha... well here we go again, we love it tho so forever we will keep trying and with all the support and help from all the community at the grow diaries it makes me feel even better! This is my second cultivation ever and it will be fun to try a bigger space than my closet grows First, I'm just going to say I'm done with the construction of my new growroom. I put some pictures on the construction here in week one. The room is 2.14 meters by 1.7 meters and has a ceiling height of 2 meters. It provides a floor area of ​​3.6 square meters. I use a 54 Watt Lightwawe T5 for germination and 2 Pcs 400 Watt HPS lamps. I have a channel fan that replaces the room air about 40 times an hour to get a comfortable theme in the room, the air enters a fresh air intake from the outside. Hey guys :-) A few days ago the seeds were germinated. I will put one for the Spring Cup and two in an extra diary. The reason why I planted 3 seeds right away is because the runtz is a very interesting variety (Skittlez x Gelato) 😍. Looks like this might be the last week for this girl. Was hoping to see more change in tricomes but not sure if worth the wait. Give it a few more days and see what the loop says.

Due to the pandemic, I was unable to update this diary weekly, but I recorded the results of the harvest with some photos and only now managed to update the diary. Of two plants, both flowering amazing without big problems. Flowering went well despite the plants having to withstand a lot of heat. Happy Growing to all 🤜🤛🌲💪🙏💚

It seems like she needed to be closer to the light so I moved her a closer. She is growing very tall and fast. I water her once every two days or when I see the soil is dry. :)

What’s up y’all!!?? Week 7 update is kinda bland. The bud sites are growing fuller which is exciting to see. A weak smell is apparent. Same feeding schedule as last week. I give a normal PH’d watering every few days in between the feedings just to get some of the nutrient build up out of the cocoa / perlite mix. I did a heavy defoliation in the beginning of the week. There are some lower bud sites which I’m hoping are getting more sunlight since I defoliated. Of course by the end of the week the leaves are back and big once again. I’ve been tucking them instead of putting the plant thru any further stress at this point. See y’all in week 8

Really love a set of scales to keep track of weight too. pH and EC are both critical for thriving plant health, but temperature also plays a pivotal role in achieving optimal growth. It also happens to be the fundamental parameter that's most commonly overlooked. When you think about temperature in the context of a growing environment, you could be referring to the temperature of the air around the plants or you could also be referring to the temperature of nutrient solution or irrigation water, which will affect the root zone temperature. While air temperature is important, for the purposes of this piece, I'll be focusing on root zone temperature and its effect on nutrient uptake and overall plant health. That's because a plant's root system is the location of two essential chemical processes: water and nutrient absorption. In each of these processes, having the correct root zone temperature is paramount for these to occur efficiently. In a nutshell, root zone temperature will affect the rate at which your plants are able to absorb nutrients. If you let your root zone temperature remain unmonitored and uncontrolled, this could lead to disastrous effects on your overall crop yield. Nutrient absorption is largely driven by chemical processes, which take place in your plants' roots; the efficacy of these processes is determined by the temperatures to which those roots are exposed. Once your root zone temperature moves out of its optimal range, the plant will not be able to deliver optimal levels of nutrients and water. Ideally, you should aim to have your nutrient solution or irrigation water temperature at around 18 – 22 °C (65 - 72 °F) to ensure optimal nutrient and water uptake. In addition to having an effect on nutrient absorption, your root zone temperature also affects oxygen availability and solubility. If your water is too warm, you could risk starving your roots of oxygen as warm water cannot hold as much dissolved oxygen as colder water. On the other hand, if your water is too cold, this could shock your plant roots, decrease plant metabolic rates, and stunt plant growth. Peace out.
