Week 4 of little Guava. She is finally speeding up a bit, but the weather was still far from good. Very cloudy at day, too cold at night – so she still was allowed to sleep inside. When it's raining she can hide under a table, but it's not ideal. Started to slowly feed her a bit, seems to take it well. Hoping for betten weather now.

Got a couple more days until day 56 (week 8) but just wanted to add a few things from this week. The flush is coming along nicely and getting some really nice colors to come out, Really excited for the finish. Just uploaded the day 56 pictures, shes looking beautiful!

-At the moment there is bad weather but the little ones are getting better and better. Everything is going swimmingly! The plants are putting on astounding growth, so I’m starting to set up a watering schedule—beginning with 1L per plant every third day. I also sprinkle the topsoil with water now and then to prevent it from becoming hydrophobic. I turned up the light intensity to 400 to 500 PPFD.

She started out stretching vertically faster than any strain I’ve grown before, and after laying her out for LST I thought she’d continue that stretch... she did to a certain degree, but more than half the canopy did not make it to the top. Next time I think I’ll top her instead, but regardless she has put out some picture perfect, sticky, pungent buds. A must have strain.

Swapped the plants this week as I realized I could use the 200w light to cover both the smaller plant and the lower canopy of the larger one more effectively. Hopefully this will allow sufficient light to cover more of the plants, as the lower canopy of the larger plant was 30 inches from the light! Now since I can lower the bigger light to accommodate the shorter plant, I can cover the left side of the bigger one, lowering the light to 23 inches, which is definitely better. The buds don't seem to be filling in quite as quickly this time but they are definitely making progress! I am guessing about another month, but who knows? I'm going to let them take their time and let me know when they're ready. Other than that was a pretty uneventful week, as I'm kind of coming into the final stretch I have stopped the lst and only trim the leaves that are blocking bud sites. They definitely appear more stressed than they have been, with a lot of bright purple stems connected to the leaves, but to me they look healthy enough to make it to the finish line!

Next week I will cut orange bud and Sunzen Sherbet 💚

This was the girls last week! I decided to call them finished on day 63 the tricomes are almost all cloudy, with a small amount of amber. I’ve learned that they continue to degrade as you dry and cure your flower, so I’m trying something new for me, and pull them a little earlier than I usually would. In addition, after watching a podcast (Dude Grows Show) if you don’t know, check it out… I decided to run the lights for 18 hours instead of 12/12 for the last 5 days before harvest. The idea behind this, is to stress the plant enough to increase its natural sunblock/protections, which would be terpenes and tricomes just before you harvest, while also possibly quickening the finishing time for your plant. The group was discussing the benefits of this (listed above) while some already had implemented these practices when finishing plants. The recommended time to run extra light time would be around the last 5-9 days of the plant, without having any nanners or weirdness happening with your plants. Purple galore! I am really excited about this strain, can't wait to see the final product! I have used a couple of BuildASoil products, and they have both seemed to help tremendously. Today is day 49 from seed, so about another month and they should be ready to go. I hope so, because I'm going on vacation in July so they have to be done by then. Overall, extremely happy with this grow, just waiting patiently for the results.

Sour Jealousy Auto FastBuds 2025 Outside Grow Week 7 May 11-17 FLOWER 1 Sour Jealousy has started to flower. She is 18” now after a 6-inch spurt. She really benefitted from last week’s rain. This week’s weather has been cloudy and sunny but the temps ranged from 93 high and low of 53 at night. I watered and fed 2x with Kelp 30 ml/g and TPS1 4ml/g. I included some garden pics and some cool boats. I live in a coastal area with 6 bridges. Since maritime law still governs commerce, the boats have the right of way to vehicles. Only those that were damaged or dieing were cut. A plant this small needs as much canopy as it can get. She is fully in flower now and is stretching 😻, hoping she stretches a lot more tho. She wasn't very thirsty, she only needed 2,4l of water. I again used 4ml of biobizz grow and bloom. I also removed a few leaves to make sure that every budsite gets enough sunlight.
