Week 4: Vegetative Growth Brrrrrr🤧 It’s been a really cold week for this time of year so far—just under 15 degrees during the day and between 6 and 8 degrees at night. It’s supposed to stay this way for a few more days. But the Gelato is doing great anyway.💪 The temperatures don’t seem to bother her, even though her growth has slowed down a bit... at least that’s how it seems to me. Still, I’m very happy... and she’s also starting to give off a little scent.😍

Another week closer. Big boy is fading fast, starting flushing today from a separate reservoir with this one. Nutes dropped a little on others. Hoping to be chopping the biggest in 10 days or so. Others seem about 2 weeks behind, they never had the same enthusiasm as that one. Because this one decided it was gonna be quicker than the rest, I'll have to dry in a second tent where I should be starting the next 4 in the next week or two. This going to delay the next start unfortunately

Transferring was a breeze and she loved it…looking at her explosive growth you can tell. Her vegetative state continues for the next 12 weeks hopefully into the dry season for a killer harvest.

March, 20th If i open the Floweringtent, it smells like Hops, Iam not sure wich Plant it is Thr purple Queen has asoft smell delicious Flowers are stacking and The Girls look happy and green The branches are filled with Flowers... wonderful one one Plant in the Tent i discovered Spidermites,,,,,,,,,aaargh I ordered predators But the purple Queens are clean no insects on them. As i discoverd very early,,, iamsure i can fight the Pest in the tent

Alright I've updated this postmortem and cure just to give an idea of what I was up to during the dry and cure weeks. This grow was a ton of work and I'm very please with the results. I learned a ton about soil and environment control and really feel like I'm gaining confidence and coming into my own as a cultivator. I've been playing a lot with ice water hash and rosin and have set some neat goals for the future like hunting ice water hash cultivars, going perpetual and expanding the amount of canopy I can work with by building a network of remote-operated satellite flower tents in friends' and family's abodes . [ Information ] For all grow information, including strain and room details, please see the first week of veg. [ Updates ] (Flower) Day 1 - Light intensity increased to 65%. C02 increased to 1300ppm average. Day temp/humidity 85/70 (1-1.2VPD), night temp/humidity 75/65 (.8-1VPD). Fed a diluted compost tea mixture before lights on. Base water was R/O and tap water mixed lightly with silica and Tribus microbes. Tea was a mixture of Fish Hydrolysate, Bat Guano, Molasses, Fulvic/Humic, Kelp, and Earthworm Castings. 8 gallons of tea were added to 72 gallons of water mixture for an 80gal batch total. The batch was mixed for a half hour before feeding to the room. I did not PH or PPM test the mixture, organic material is hard to get an accurate PPM reading so the numbers are useless to me. I will be working to bring the lights to 100% power over this first week of flower. Day 4 - Light intensity increased daily, currently at 90%. Will raise to full power tomorrow. C02 increased to 1800ppm average. Temp and humidity for day and night are still the same. Lights were raised slightly to maintain 12 inches from canopy height, and a few growth nodes that were above the canopy got topped. Watered today with an 80gal (1.25gal p/pot) mixture, 10% tap 90% r/o water. 6.8 PH, 2.2ec. Foliar sprayed yesterday before lights off with a neem mixture for weekly IPM. Canopies are stretching relatively evenly, though I will be adding in support nets within a few days to help maintain the even spread. I've run this strain before so I'm fairly confident that I know what to expect during these few stretch weeks. Day 7 - Lights have been at 100% since day 5. C02 still 1800-2000ppm on average. Plants are stretching quickly into the lights, I have yet to readjust their height. The best growth usually happens when I do nothing, and I've done almost nothing the past couple days besides enjoy the unusually warm spring weather my area is currently experiencing. Watered today, 100gal (1.5gal p/pot) mixture, <1ec. Mainly an organic feeding for microbe health, also wanted a bit more runoff than normal due to the high ec feeding previously.

Hello. This is the end of week 5 and the beginning of week 6 of veg. The plants are doing good and growing well But... That's quite a height difference with the 3 plants. I'm not sure that I want to struggle with that tall one. In the video I said my hand is 4 inches but I remeasured it and it 3 1/4 across the knuckles, It's 4 inches across the palm from the bottom thumb knuckle. Which make the space between leaf sets even bigger. And 4 inches between leaf sets is tall enough for me inside. So Sorry MSNL... but I'm going to cut the tallest one down and not struggle with that one. If they were all near the same height I'd think about growing them tall. But it's a struggle to have short and tall plants in the same tent. I'll also cut down the tallest Kush Mints, which share this tent. So I'll just grow the 2 Mimosa and the 2 Kush Mints in this tent, from here to the end of both diaries. OK Be Great. Chuck.

Week 4 starts Sunday July 17, 2022 Plants seem really nice and healthy. I really like Flora Nova, its a great product. 300ppm and the plants love it, even though the Gaia Green is in the mix, it seems to just love this combo, ever since I repotted with the amendments in the soil, and watered with Flora Nova Bloom (mix it crazy well before using) the plants just look really happy and green. It's not an organic product, maybe like 30% organic -- just like me haha. I think by week's end we will be caught up and ready to intensify lights, threw the SF1000 in the tent finally for more light, but so far just keeping only the Phlizon white light full spectrum COBs on and the RB lights off, and not using the SF-1000 at all even though its mostly white. Despite what Phlizon says, the COBs are great during veg, the RB not so much. I like the COBs so much better than the smaller LEDs for veg. July 19, 2022 Turned on the SF-1000 to 60% and measured light, I'm happy with it. I have another strain growing next to these and the extra light will help during flower as a side light but it will most likely hit the canopy too. The growth is vigorous right now. Added pics, today is day 28 since they were dropped into water July 23, 2022 Tomorrow starts week 5, growth is super green, no funky yellow or leaf drama. Stalks are getting much thicker and stronger. Turned the lights up this week, added the 2nd COB, and temps are just fine! Who knew. Anyway, they look like they are very close to pre-flower. Added some tent mates for a future grow, check out the grow area vid. Maybe I forgot to mention added worm castings this week...

11-28 Last week on my veg, saw first hair today. Thought she may be a bit bigger by now, but its coming 💪 She got 1k water yesterday with silica 5ml, cal/mag 3ml, drops of balance 1ml, yucca 1/64 tsp. 1/2 tsp recharge and 1 ounce EM1. 12-1 Water 2k ml. Adjusted lst a bit and stripped her leafs. She been through a lot. I may or may have stunted her a bit. Maybe she will kick in. Waiting a minute before anything else. 12-2 Bumped light to 75%. She should start stretching any day/time. .

Next time will flip two weeks earlier for this strain. Canopy got away from me! Otherwise please with progress and learning from previous grows.

Week 1 - The ladies are starting to produce more nodes, they seem like they are loving the fish tank water (Doing as experiment). Plant to Right Front had a leaf issue, one leaf had combined, other had 1 missing leaf (See in Pictures). Once Tall enough will start LST. Using Spider Farm SF4000, Growing 4 Northern Light Autos by Seedsman in 5 gal Fabric Pots, 70/30 coco perlite mix, with Living soil at bottom 1/3s of Pot.
