I definitely failed Scrogging, just too many branches and bud sites for me to keep up with. Defoliated like crazy after a feeding this week.

Day 77 i turned off the lights at 10 pm Friday and started my ice water flush and 48 hrs of darkness. i have not done ice water flush before, the theory is that the harsh cold forces the plant to build more trichomes to better prepare for pollination its an easy thing to do and takes no extra time so why not try it the water ppm is 435 and the first round run off was 1139 ppm second round of flush 789 ppm. the reason for 2 rounds of flush is in the first flush round the nute's latch onto the water and the second washes them away. i wait 15-20 min between flushes. that's it for today's update keep your stick on the ice Day 78 not much to say really water ppm is at 435 and runoff of round one for the day is 621 i will update with round 2 in an hr. UPDATE: ok so round 2 leaves it at 521 ppm Day 79 ok ppl this is the last day before harvest no water just ice ( i know it melts but its not much water lol ) oddly after over 48 hrs in the dark i have seen no change in the color of the plant it does not matter but i was hoping lol i took some pics for your viewing pleasure

Day 73 since seed touched soil. Sparkles as THC BOMB should be by name ;))) See few foxtails starting. Girl started to gain weight, but buds will be small, VERY small ;))) hopefully dense !!! Tried to wave biggest top to feel how heavy it is - air ;))) BUT , OMG OMG OMG , how lovely she smells , gassy stinks and have few more aromas, mix of Kalini Asia and some good Girl Scout Cookie maybe ... anyways, even if she will be in 50g area - i will still LOVE HER, can guarantee it NOW !!! Would love to push her at least 14 days more,but looks like she has less in her ... Mars TSL2000 blasting them really nice, i liked that light, if good air movement and temp control is in , she will deliver LOADS ;))) Happy Growing !!!

Heeey! 👋 It's week two and everything went quite well I believe! The girls are growing and they look healthy! 💪 During the first days this week and while I was checking them I started to think how I could improve (and fix) what I did in my previous grow, specifically the veg. phase. I wasn't the brightest person in my previous grow because I left the lights at their maximum power during this phase to increase the overall heat of the tent (it was a winter where I live) and while that idea made total sense to me at that time later I found out that was a not the best idea at all 😰. By doing what I did it meant my plants were receiving way more energy they could handle and that meant the plants didn't grow as much as they could 😱😭 So, how could I improve that this time? The best way was to get a PAR meter so I could measure how much light my babies are receiving but those are expensive so the best option after was using the lux meter (or rather the RGB brightness sensor) that's available in my phone (most phones come with one) and by doing that I get a rough idea how much food my babies were receiving (in lux tho, not the best method but it helps to get an idea) 👌 The first days Pistachio and Matcha were getting about 8000 lux and as the week progressed I ended near 18000. Some websites said that amount was acceptable for young plants (they do not talk about the quality of the light tho). For the next week I plan to reach 24000 lux and stay around that 😊 I also think this week I'll move the girls to a slightly bigger pot and with each transplant I'll keep using mycorhizes (Mico Root are mycorhizes) to help the root development. In the past week, one of my Forum Stompers has gotten massive compared to the others. I'm not sure if it's different phenos or me just stressing them out. I'm guessing it's stress. Hopefully the other 3 start to hit their stretch this week. I did some defoliating this week, and spent a lot of time on the big tall one. She's really opened up and catching a lot of light. I'm hoping the branches really start to get heavy and frosty over the next couple of weeks.

My only regret is not mainling all. Everything is growing great still got couple few weeks left. But the difference in bud growth is still my topic cause there really no other issues. Buds from the bottom to the top of the mainline ones are all basically the same size. All on the same growth rate. I know due to shape and open canopy yada yada.. Fimmed, the canopy is more bushy. I mean I can see the bottom from the top, I know that's one of the main rules.. But just the leaf growth is different too... So of course buds on bottom still gonna be more popcorny. I still defoliate a little every few days.. Nothing crazy, just wanna irritate her a little. So going forward I'll only do one fimmed with my grows the rest mainlined..Just to get an idea how each one reacts to both grow techniques but still get my weight.

Growing good don’t trip.

Still struggling to get the medium pH up been adding Potassium bicarbonate last 2 waterings (in going pH 8.9) still getting out of range low 5 runoff numbers, left off Cal/Mag last time to make sure there is no acid in the mix. Just anxious to get this grow done, think I went to heavy on the AgroThrive early on thinking it was weaker than salts, it certainty is not, lesson learned the only other thing I thought might help is a help is adding microbes to widen the pH range but it might be too late for that at this point. 😕
