**** Tue 17 Dec **** 5 weeks from seeding My efforts to keep humidity up seem to be paying off Also bought a small humidifier - will see how well it works I've released all the LST restraints - they have a bit of room to stretch now Annoyed now as I've run out of plug sockets (1 light, 1 inline fan, 2 clip fans, 1 heating mat, 1 humidifier, 1 radiator) Better not need anything else... **** Thu 19 Dec **** Humidifier was installed on Tuesday - they love it at 40-45% - that really was the problem These plants do not like 20% humidity. Also I chucked in a 14W blurple LED which I got for free - every little helps The bigger "red" plant has a few leaves which were burned on the radiator in the small tent - think I'll nip these off The "black" plant on the right is now recovering and really going for it See video **** Sat 21 Dec **** All going remarkably well **** Sun 22 Dec **** Here we are 40 days from seeding, and there isn't much for me to do The humidifier uses about 3 liters every day, so needs refilling once or twice (it takes 2.2L) They are now easily drinking a liter of water each a day - the pots are dry and light when ready for more I'm giving them a small dose of 7-7-7 every other feed - it doesn't seem to be causing problems The fan & filter are sucking in plenty of fresh air and there's no smell at all (if I were to switch it off there would soon be a mighty stink!) So far lots of flowery pistils but no "sugariness" - I'm sure this will come when ready The "Red" plant has always been more vigorous - this one is a bit more spread out horizontally and I've trimmed away leaves that were in the way. While growing faster, a lot more lower leaves have turned yellow on this one so I've trimmed these off. The "Black" plant was always a bit behind, and it did not like low humidity at all (at one point I thought it was done for) But since I got the humidity up this plant has really got its act together - in fact now it's probably heavier than Red. This one has had virtually no LST and I've only trimmed a very few lower leaves. At this point I'm thinking the best thing to do in this box (70 x 70 cm) would be to grow 4 of the same in 11L pots Would really fill the space very quickly Anyway lets see how this first grow works out **** Tue 24 Dec **** Red on the left is starting to build a bud structure And on top of the main cola there are signs of stickiness and some tiny trichomes Must sort out a better camera as my phone is rubbish Black on the right has taken off - she's taller than Red now She may be slower but I think there'll be a bigger yield off this one If I leave the tent door open for a few minutes I can smell them from 10 feet away. Without the filter I would have a problem That's the end of week 6 Compare the start and end of this week and there's been a fair bit of growth going on

Buenas noches familia, sorpresa, jueves noche por aquí , actualizamos las power plant xL. Es la última semana antes de nuestra cosecha, el tiempo se nos echó encima y las Flores ya están echas, se preparó un lavado de raíces y tijeretazo,para sucesivamente colgarlas.( PRIMERA VEZ que se me echa el tiempo encima con la floración, jurao) Me habría gustado darles algo de estrés hídrico, pero lo veremos con las lemon kush y las northern light xL. -power plant xL es una cepa con predominancia sativa, con una corta floración,es un ejemplar fácil de cultivar, fuerte, y vigoroso. Estos ejemplares se cultivaron en 7L en sustrato light MIX de plagrOn, controlando en todo momento el PH de nuestras plantas, y dándoles de comer una gama advanced nutrients bastante básica. -PROS: facil cultivar, flores llenas de resina , flores compactas, ramas laterales largas. -CONTRAS: hay que tutorar por el peso de la flor, floración demasiado rápida a mi gusto (no te das ni cuenta). *Aquí ya me despido hasta la cosecha familia.

I loved it. Grew some really nice buds, produced an amazing smell that filled the room once I opened my tent. The buds are really sticky, trichomes looked amazing they were about 75% cloudy when I cut her down.

I wish I would have cloned her, I guess I’ll be ordering more seeds.

Time to cut it down, harvest report to follow in a few weeks. Maybe I'll start the harvest and leave it incomplete as she dries.

December 18th Spray water with succulent plant food for little while during flower

The tent is now set. All plants are transplanted into 11L plastic pots with 75-25% biobizz light and heavy mix, bat guano and mycorrhiza. We added co2 boost ( Boost buddy bag) and carbon filter on the vent system. We will try to provide more details regarding the ventilation system inside the tent within the next weeks.

--------------------------------------- Seedsman Afghan Kush Harvest --------------------------------------- Harvest day 6th of December, 6/12/2019 Germination: 6/8/2019 Weight on the scales : 219g, weighted after 10 days of drying, but there are stems and some leaves, not a lot, but only bud would be a little less weight. Flowering weeks: 10 weeks Veg weeks: 7 weeks Fluxh weeks: 2 weeks ---------------------------------------- Harvest was a little aerlier than expected ( flowers development), because i spotted some mold points on some buds, like 5 in total, lost few flowers but a cleaning trim was done after. I was checking every day, cut the plant inmediatly, also beacuse RH was rising, and also some rain was coming after a couple of sunny days. Production could have been better, yes, but, started to flower really late too, so that allowed the plant to grow a little more also, so that added some branches and space for buds, the thing that i notice is that they could have grow more in summer, but its simply a blessing that, this plant, made it until December hahaha :D Loved to eat a lot, high doses always. Noticed extra vigorousity when adding rich micro nutrients. Trully special plant, the range of purple/dark purple/blue purple colours showed will make me remember this plant. The flowers pack an extraordinary aroma, after 3 weeks in jars, the flavour is: hash/fruity/cream and it smells like: mangoes/fresh fruits and hash/resin. 🤦‍♀️🏼 😩 Day 40 from sprouting from soil. I think I messed up. I got bloom boost last week that I added in my water and fed them like two days in a row, about 3/4gal total. I started a new seed and added more lights & I also removed about 4 leaves from lower plant that seemed to be causing a lot of shade. Now my baby looks like this. Yesterday the leaves were curled up and some of the hairs are turning brown. I gave it a half gallon of plain water yesterday & today. I was hoping it would grow more buds. I also have had a Fungus knat problem pretty bad. I was trying to use that organic spray didn’t work, I heard Dawn dish soap- that didn’t work (not for long) so yesterday I added those white things on top. Basically it’s a mess. I started this not wanting to put a lot of money into it, but it’s fun & interesting! I just wanna get better now lol! I’ll definitely be changing it up next round

day 15 (december 19) start of week 3 roots everywhere plant starts to take of now, the hydro is slightly bigger then the soil plant day 17: the hydro plant made a new set of leaves in just 2 days! day 19: i cut off the lowest leaves of both plants. i do this because on any autoflower these leaves produce a stem that wastes a lot of energy on small nugs. day 20: hydro plant got topped (3nodes) day 21: soil plant got topped (3nodes) same strategy with the topping, i do this early (i could pinch them off with my fingers) to reduce the time to recover. the plants bounce back like they didnt feel it and with the lowest leaf and small tiny stems cut off, these plants will produce 6 main stems with nice big and dense buds instead of a huge christmass tree with more leaves than bud.
