Grow Diary Update: Week 5 - Pre-Flowering and LST Evaluation Entering Pre-Flowering Stage At the end of last week, the first pistils appeared, marking the beginning of the pre-flowering stage for my plants 🙌 There's much to manage now. To support optimal stretching, I've adjusted the nutrients following 2/3 of the Terra Aquatica feeding schedule: CalMag: 2 ml/l (Starting EC before adding nutrients: 0.45 mS/cm) Grow: 1.33 ml/l Bloom: 1.0 ml/l Micro: 1.33 ml/l The nutrient solution now has an EC of 1.3 mS/cm (638 ppm PPM-500/TDS) with a pH of 6.1. These adjustments aim to promote vigorous growth and prepare the plants for flowering. Weather and Growth With significant weather improvements, my plants are thriving at full speed. Every centimeter gained now counts towards maximizing the final yield, turning around from the challenging weeks prior. Pest Management I'm fortunate not to have encountered pests like spider mites, aphids, or thrips. However, the persistent snail issue remains. Nightly patrols with a flashlight have been effective, and placing old lettuce leaves away from the plants has helped trap and remove snails, ensuring the plants remain undisturbed. LST Experiment Results The two plants I trained with LST have responded admirably, showing healthy adaptation to the bending and vigorous growth. Yet, I'm at a crossroads regarding the upcoming stretch phase: should I continue to tie down branches to maintain an even canopy or allow natural upward growth to potentially boost vertical yield? AG#1+6 bolted to showing male sacs & were pulled from tent, guess I'm glad it happened before flipping to 12/12 (today), I'm pretty certain the other 4 are female. I wiped the tent down & water sprayed the rest of plants to be safe. I did some more LST on AG#4+5 Plants seem to be recovering pretty well from the Cal-Mag deficiency, most burn is gone.

I cut down the 2nd half of my Green Crack plant today. Did a wet trim this time. Will post the harvest report after she's dried and cured. So far the buds seem loose and airy overall. Probably stressed her out a little too much with the topping, HST and then the LED burn. I'm still pretty happy with the results so far 😃 Root sone looks more developed than the last harvest (Blue Mammoth). I guess Recharge is working 👍

God guys, so mad I am so disappointed. Cookies seedbank -1000 stars. Die brand cost me so much money. Tie die 1/3 didn’t sprout 1/3 killed today because ladyboy the other one also under control and looking sus. Only last real men fighter is Trump Runtz. It’s so sad grow looked pretty good and know noting left.

My plants are doing better with more heat and less light. My light is turned down to 30%. I installed a oil heater so the tent stays above 80 even during lights out. My plants have never looked healthier. Changing off of my veg nutes and going to flower dosages.

Day 15: I removed both branches, in the second node position on the trunk, and LST'd her down in the direction of the removed-downward-node. Also, I noticed the lime green discoloration on the lower leaves which means a beginning of a nitrogen deficiency. I lightly top dressed her pot the first week because it's the first time I grow using these dry amendments. I top dressed her again yesterday and watered her today. It will take a week for the nutrients to break down so I think I will be brewing a terp tea grow to treat the deficiency while the dry ingredients break down. Day 18: continued to lst her down. I top dressed the soil with 3 tsp of nitro bat guano, 2 tsp of terp tea grow, and 2 tsp of uprising bloom. Day 20: She started showing sex so I'll be only lst'ing from now on.

I sowed cantaloupe bag seeds directly to flower box drip irrigation.I transplanted my white widow seedling to flower box. So the new line up this run is cantaloupe, blueberry, Girl Scout cookies and white widow. Cantaloupe seeds sprouted and i will keep the most vigorous grower.bb is throwing pistils.GSC is producing first set of true leaves. At the end of week 2 cantaloupe has first leaves so does white widow. My Gsc has first set of true leaves and my blueberry is putting out pistils and trichs.Things are going well

So figured out the seedling were getting to much light at the beginning stages which has stunted growth. Switch a few thing up for next round. But as of now all these girls are doing well except size wise. They are frosting up nicely and although I'm saddened by the mistake made looks like the yield will be somewhat decent.

03/11/24- had determined last week that my runoff ph was crazy.. leaves darkened and clawing (N tox) and also a freaking mag deficiency. For the 3 past waterings I’ve given nothing but dechlorinated non ph’d water (tap water’s alkaline af) and epsom salts. The girls perked up and seem pretty happy. I’m going to give the calmag I have that claims to be N free, that has some micros and then some bloom only. I’m hoping stretch is over because it’s turning into a jungle. The frost on these things looks amazing already. The smell? Yeah.. can’t really describe it but it’s kinda offensive LOL
