Skywalker Haze

Maximilian1234 Hey, four weeks later the ladies look like this. No nitrogen fertilizer was added. Only the soil from Plagron is used. I topped the girls after about 2 weeks in anticipation of a strong stretch. The plan is to fertilize organically until 12/12 and then switch to mineral nutrients during flowering. The development has gone well and quite quickly, typical quality from Dutch Passion.

Maximilian1234 It's going into flowering 😃 I don't know the strain yet and I'm expecting a strong stretch in the first about 4 weeks despite topping. I love seeing how quickly the plants develop and change after the light switch. From now on, I will use the mineral fertilizer from Plagron with every watering. Fungus gnats are really annoying but should be history soon thanks to their predators. I'm excited 😉

Maximilian1234 Flowering week 2 is rolling in, and the plants are doing quite well. Midweek, I set up a net to make the most of the growing area. The transition from organic to mineral nutrients went smoothly for the plants. The first signs of flowers were visible very quickly. The water needs slowly started to increase. The performance of the Sanlight was at 70% by the end of the week.

Maximilian1234 Flowering week 3 and the force seems to be with the girls. It looks like the stretch is going to be weaker than expected. The net is filled, so everything is in perfect order. I think 😅 Individual shoots were adjusted in the net. Below, the plant was thinned out and freed from old sun leaves. I also removed some leaves from above to improve the lighting of the side shoots. So far, I've sprayed once or twice every day. The humidity this winter is a bit lacking. I'm starting to think this is going to turn out really well 👍 May the juice be with us 😉

Maximilian1234 Flowering Week 4 The work seems to be paying off, and Dutch Passion is proving what they have to offer. The stretch is finally coming to a halt. Due to the behavior and healthy appearance, I have slightly increased the EC value. The lights have been at 100% since the beginning of the week. Only the humidity is currently at 35% despite humidifiers in the room. However, the Skywalker is handling it without any issues. So far, it’s very easy to grow with a good appetite for nutrients. I just expected the stretch to be different for a sativa-dominant strain. A slight calcium deficiency is showing on the lower leaves, but it could also be due to the high EC value.

Maximilian1234 Flowering week 5 My mouth is slowly watering. The development of the buds is in full swing! There wasn't much to do this week. A few wilted leaves below the foliage were removed. Every two days, the ladies get 10 liters of water with an EC of 2.5. I haven't found any signs of over-fertilization so far. The calcium deficiency has been kept in check thanks to Calmag. I'm really glad to have the SCROG net; the buds will probably get too heavy towards the end. Some small lower shoots that didn't quite make it through the net were secured with string. Maximilian1234 Flowering Week 6 What can I say, the buds are getting fatter and denser. I'm really only watering every two days now. There's not much else to do. Good thing the vegetable growing is starting up again, otherwise it would be almost boring. 😉 The plants still look very healthy, only in the lower area you can slowly notice that nutrients are being shifted. Fungus gnats are hardly visible anymore. The predators must have done their job well. The Skywalker is a very easy strain to grow. In my opinion, I've seen 4 different phenos show up. Maximilian1234 Flowering week 7: Around here, we say: It's coming 😜 It's quite annoying to reach the lower leaves in the home box. For the next grow, I guess I’ll have to work without a net again. Getting those little wilted leaves out is a skill at 120cm 😅 Do you have any tips on what I could grow next? More updates this week to come…

Maximilian1234 Flowering week 8: A beautiful scent spreads when I open the tent. The buds are still swelling. Some of this will end up in the composter if mold doesn't mess things up for me. The Skywalker truly seems to have a direct line to the Force. I will definitely grow it again! Some buds seem to be way too heavy for the stems. The net is paying off once again. A slight deficiency is noticeable on the lower leaves. But that's fine by me; at the end of this week, it will be the last time I use nutrients. Cheers 👋

Maximilian1234 Flowering week 9: The plants are at their limit, individual buds are starting to get heavy and slip out of the net. There's no more fertilizer left. It's crazy what has developed here over the last 9 weeks. I have nothing but good things to say about the Sanlight lamps, I'm absolutely satisfied. Looking back, I can say that the Skywalker Haze is a very easy-to-grow old-school genetic. The smell is nice but not completely insane. The Blue Zushi spoiled my nose a bit first. Harvesting will happen next week 😙

Maximilian1234 Went to the scissors 😜 Very easy to trim! Now everything stays in the dark for about 1.5 weeks at 18C and 55-58% humidity.
