So I left them for 3 days and went for a trip. Came back and they were crazy. The 1 of the left and the broken girl are different phenos from the the other 2 which are in full flower now. I think those other 2 ladies will finish abit later. Also switched up the nutrients before leaving just to give the buds more of a organic taste. I'll be continuing the organic feeds with 50% of floracoco in this coming week. Decreases the ppm as the same left lady was being fussy, she showed me why though, she wanted to grow abit more. **Week 8 - Third Week of Flower** Things are getting wild in the Donutz tent! After the insane stretch last week, the plants have turned the space into a full-on jungle. The start of Week 8 called for drastic measures, and the results are setting the stage for explosive bud production. **Key Updates**: - **Aggressive Defoliation**: On Day 1 of the third flower week, the plants underwent a *brutal* defoliation. Every bud site that had started to develop its own leaves was stripped of its fan leaves, allowing light to flood the canopy. Even the smallest sites now have excellent exposure, giving them the best chance to mature into chunky nugs in the coming weeks. Despite the intensity of the trim, the plants are resilient and primed to bounce back strong. - **Boosted Nutrients**: To support the plants after the stress of defoliation, I added another 5-6g of Greenhouse Feeding Bloom per plant. This ensures the soil stays nutrient-rich and gives the plants the resources they need to recover and thrive. - **Watering**: Still rocking reverse osmosis (RO) water, ensuring clean and efficient hydration without any surprises. **Observations**: - The canopy is significantly cleaner and more open, with light now reaching deeper into the lower sections. - The plants are handling the defoliation well, with no immediate signs of stress or shock. - Bud sites are already looking promising, with visible development and an even distribution across the canopy. **Looking Ahead**: The next few weeks will be all about letting the plants recover and watching the buds stack up. With improved light penetration and a fresh dose of nutrients, everything is lined up for some impressive development. The Donutz are thriving, and the Florida Gang vibes are at an all-time high — the tent is set to deliver big!

Going well

the plants are fine. for 2 weeks I have increased the fertilizers and they are responding well. the strawberry is about two weeks ahead of the tropicanna. the smell is intense and very sweet👽

Had the seed capsule stick to the seedling, making it bend but it fixed itself and had no issues afterwards.

First day went as expected. I put the paper towel in a small see-thru plastic container and put it on the table. With a bit of water and the seeds in side, the germination has now started! Day 2 no progression, moved the tray into my furnace room (pitch black and warm) Day 3 major progression. I got them out and started to prep the jiffy pellets. Shortly after I transferred the roughly half inch tarp roots with seeds into the jiffy pellets, root down, seed up, slightly covered with dirt. I soaked them in water (like a beginner i overwatered heavily knowing what I know now). I placed them back in the tray and put them at a window for light. (Note) the plan was to do outdoor so no light or tent was ordered at this point. Day 4-7 not much progression seeing as the clouds and rain showed up...

This was a fun project that was a few years in the making and a year later to see if they would last a season for this upload to happen. Before any of this I would bike aorund town grabbing up all the old Ikea solid pine bed slats that I could find and storing them in the basement. I have a lot of wood down there, any size worked as long as I have enough of them. The hot days to find them were the first and last of the months because that's when people where moving in/out. I also kept an eye on the free section on local online classifieds as well. The entire purpose of this was to recycle as much off the streets as I could before buying anything to finalize the project. In the end I only bought sealer, screws and some takeaway/beers. All the wood was 100% free and salvaged off the streets of Toronto saving it from the dumpster bin. After collecting all the slats for about 2 years I was playing aorund with them on how I wanted to make this work. I had previously done a little project like this before but I messed it up and the boxes where crap. did not last longer then 2 seasons, they where thin and shallow as well could not grow much of anything in them. I Was talking to my friend who is renovating their house and we brainstormed some ideas on the boxes, I found some designs I liked online and said lets make something like this out of what I have here. We tossed out a few of the design features when looking at them as it would have been wasted wood and extra work not needed. If I had more wood them maybe it could have been an option but simple was the name of the game. They taught me what I needed to know like how the miter saw and sander worked, plus all the other tools I was using. They did help out with a table saw and creating the triangle support joints in the corners, They used some pine left overs they had while making a staircase indoors. I did not feel up to the task of using a table saw given all the relatives I know who have lost a finger to them. In the end we decided the design would be three boards high and take an alternating pattern on corners. layer one short, layer 2 long, layer 3 short. Went with a galvanized and painted deck screw so it can take the weathering. Ran into some problems like making everything level as some of the boards were warped and other ones had undesired aspects like knots and tacky sticker goo I could not remove. So I used them for the base that will not been seen so much. Clamped everything down and called it a day. Once it was all done and over with, I then brought them back home from my buddies work garage and started to seal them. I went with a boiled linseed oil as its a food safe option should the wood degrade into the soil I will plant in them. I will need to reapply it to the boxes year after year but the main coat is the most important one and I put it on 3 layers with a good dry in between coats. the inside of the boxes that where coated did not degrade at all as the sun did not hit them so it will not need a new coat just the outside. Overall the end result was very impressive for myself, I've never taken a woodworking class ever and It was a near perfect outcome for me. Heavy Duty Planter Boxes for all my gardening needs. I made a last min decision to add in a plastic liner to preserve the wood even longer and stapled that into the frame. it has held up quite well and may need replacing end of 2nd or 3rd year out in the sun. Was a decent grow considering I had one arm for most of it. These came out aight good smoke and bag appeal the smell left a little on the table. The buds are solid and fat as a mf which was good. Definitely solid strain.

day 42 images are in last week, I can not count XD. bridal is stacking a lot of weight and is constantly shifting/leaning every morning, good things. I would chop any day but I will wait it out. water, tiny bit of humic and folvic to reduce chloromine, chlorine- air stones day 45 took a few nugs off on day 42, dried for 3 days. Tried bridal and blackberry. As a heavy recreational, thc is up there! bridal felt like having a blindfold over your eyes somewhat sativa uplift but heavy weight feelings. Very good. Lasted as good as 30%'s. Dr. Thunder was also very nice, nug was smaller so mixed with blackberry to have a small j. Also feels very good indica. Both trials were chopped on week 6 day 1. Very pleased with the results. I was worried bridal was more sativa; which charasteristica I am not looking for. So I believe this is a very good heavy hitter run with 4 plants. I can chop any day, but I am waiting for pink paradise to finish seeds. day45 took top nugs from bridal party, blackberry oreo bigstuff and dr. thunder.
