1st week of flower with Jilly Bean # 4 my best female pheno is growing well and looking stocky. I raised max ppfd to around 750. I set up a new rez with nutes. On day 5 My JB pheno # 4 is growing very well and I'm excited about her potential. Max ppfd is around 850. Will keep light intesity the smae untill plants reach 900-1000 ppfd.

In my humble opinion wen growing in organics one fight life with more life and in this case i broth the big guns, i am talking about applying nematodes (steinernema faltiae) with you cant see at naked eye but will do they’re job on the soil and take on a microscopical way, i also am introducing some beneficial bugs to be more exact the stratiolaelaps scimitus they are machines killing trips, soil flies and a bunch of other plages we dont want around our girls and i also invited some Noseilus Californicus as a preventive for Any kind of non beneficial mites. With this i recipe i have faith my girl will be in control until the end of the run were i can clean it all up good !!! Total days above ground: 63 Total flower nights: 24 Just beyond 3 weeks into flower and the plants are showing their potential. The Mountaintop Mint has made great strides but is still a lanky bitch. I had to HST every branch, and may need to bend a couple more down before vegetative growth abates. Not a fan of this growth pattern and still unhappy about 2 out of 9 seeds providing a viable outcome. The bright side is that yield should be fine given the plethora of bud sites. Despite being difficult to grow next to other plants, I feel much better about its prospective outcome than I did just 1 week ago. That whole "crazy shit can happen in flower" thing rings true, again. Overall the canopy has filled in nicely. I have a couple spots where light is wasted and I'll make some adjustments to the process to fix that for future grows. Now that I've settled on plant size and number of plants, improvements can be made each cycle until it's clockwork. I like the 12-cola vs 8 cola experiement. I've got a fairly long list of edits to make to various sections of my "bible," which means I liked the outcomes of most of my incremental adjustments. Continual, systematic improvement in action... One other incremental change on the docket but not yet realized will be dropping nutrient concnetration once vegetative growth ends. Exact timing will be based on what I see in the foliage. I see some minor tip curl and its a bit darker than I want. So, it may come sooner than later. This'll be something I tweak over the next few grow cycles until I'm happy with the late-flower health. I'll drop fertilizer concentration 10-15% on next refill and see how that plays out. It'll take a couple refills of reservoir to near 100% transition without draining it. If necessary, I'll drain and do a full refill for more pressing needs. A rez scrub before final stretch is coming, regardless. Side note: The impacts of VPD can be enormous. Last year (2025-2 diary) I had a humidifier wick get fouled and RH dropped while VPD spiked for more than a few days, thinking I could power through or that the canopy would soon provide more moisture. Nope, growth stalled in a significant way. By comparing day 34-42-49 of 2025-2 and day 38-42-49 of this diary, I can see a huge difference in growth at same point above ground. The consitency with which i do things makes it fairly certain it's the extende period with extremely high VPDs that caused the difference. Also, interesting that it mostly catches back up by completion of third week of flower. The size difference is nearly undone by this point, though 2025-2 took 4 days longer vege phase to get there. Even so, I still think this grow is more than 4 days ahead of 2025-2 (the difference in vegetative phae duration). Time will tell if the development is ahead of the pace in 2025-2 or whether it's simply mostly an offset due to a less efficient vege phase for 2025-2.

FBA2502 Week 3 April 13-19 Veg 2 This week I introduced nutrients to the watering schedule. My planned feed schedule will be to feed, feed, water each week until the time to flush. , adjusting nutrients per the growth cycle. Hopefully this will keep from overfeeding and reduce salt build up in the soil. Nutrients: I will be using General Hydroponics Flora line at ½ feed rate and Cal mag throughout this grow. My tap water measures 8.3-8.5 so even after adding nutrients, I have to PH down my feed solution. Regarding nutrients, I’ve tried Fox Farm, TPS1, Plagron and now General Hydroponics. What I am looking for is organic, ease of use, minimal individual bottles that will yield large, dense sticky buds that hit hard in effect. Plants range in height from 5-7” except #1 which has been pinned to the soil. I will try wrapping her around the perimeter of the pot. Since she leaned over, I pinned her down and have been anchoring along the rim, twisting the stem so the node is on the side or top rather than underneath. I don’t think she likes training since the stems are a bit floppy. They are all still in veg, bushy with large indica leaves. I’ve been tucking the large leaves under the bud sites to give more light under the canopy. I’m tempted to top one of the bigger plants to have a comparison on resistance and final yield. This week I made a short video for each 2502 tester and a pic or 2. GH Flora Micro ½ tsp /gal Gro ½ tsp /gal Bloom ½ tsp /gal Fox CalMag ½ tsp /gal PPM 573 & 715 when I added Plagrons Royal Rush 4ml. Hey Freunde heute ein kleines Update, mittlerweile ist Blütetag 24 der stretch war wohl noch nicht ganz zu Ende und besonders die Papaya und die Pink Chai haben nochmal nen richtigen Schub gemacht. Heute hab ich mal doppelt soviel Wasser gegossen, da die unteren Blätter schon leicht vertrocknet waren und die Töpfe immer sehr leicht. Die Pink Chai bekommt minimal gelbe spitzen, aber is glaub zu vernachlässigen, verdacht war zuviel Licht. Sie hat danach auf jedenfall aufgehört die Blätter zum Licht zu strecken, also erstmal keine praying leaves mehr, heute Abstand verringert und sie Betet wieder. -5/28/23 Start of Week --Week 10/Flower 4 -5/31/23 (Day 74/flower 25) --Observations: temperature is rising during the day and the night isn't dropping as low as I would like. Already starting to get clustered again. --Comments: seems to be okay with the increasing heat, don't see any problems yet and hopefully wont. shade leaves are starting to push their way into the middle area again, will try not to remove unless the become a problem. -6/3/23 (Day 77/Flower 28) --Observations: shade leaves still pushing their way into center, buds still growing and starting to form calxes. --Changes: will no longer be spraying after today, will also start giving more water --Comments: today is the last day for spraying this plant, watering will be increased to compensate. may have to remove some of the shade leaves pushing into the center area next week, will be extremely selective if I have to remove anything from this point on. lemon basil is starting to tower over the cannabis, will be removing some to give space between them. -6/3/23 End of Week

Another week has flown by! The girls are doing great, cruise control this week as I have just been monitoring RH and temps. Trying to keep them as low as possible, I’ve been getting as low as 74 during the day and 68 at night. I finally took a look a look at the trichomes with my jewellers loop, lots of cloudy, and a few amber around the leaves and top colas, but still lot’s of clear trichomes. I’ve ordered myself a wireless/usb digital microscope to assist with the process, and looks like it will be here just in time to determine harvest day. 😎🎄 I started by eliminating the nutrients at the beginning of the week. I typically allow for 3-4 pure water feeds before I harvest, and at the rate they have been drinking, this should be enough to get through the 7-12 days they have before harvest. I don’t flush, but rather “rinse” with normal water amounts, allowing the plant to use up the remaining nutrients in the soil. This also allows me to recover most of the soil from my grows and reuse ♻️ with other soil mix. There has been great debate and a great deal of bro science out there for many years, but the recent studies suggest there is no difference in end result when it comes to flushing or using nutrients right until the end, if a proper dry and cure is performed. After i topped the plant i didnt feed her right away. I let her recover. 06/05/2023 - Day 24 i finally watered the plant with nutrients. 07/05/2023 - This day has been awesome. At the end of the day i have noticed 2 new sprouts! One on top and other at the very bottom, below the coityledons! I will start LST soon so these new sprouts get light and start growing! I start to think it will be a challenge get this plants branches equally spread, but i´ll go for it anyway. 08/05/2023 - Day 26 i started with the LST. Just fixed main branch and bent it pointing to where the sun rises. This is very important when LST´ng outdoors. Always point your plants to where the sun rises so when she grows she points to the sunset. This week i added Alg-a-mic to help the plant recover from all the HST and LST. She seems to be fine and recovering fantastic. Will this be a monster Autoflower? ✌️

About to go on holiday for two weeks, my mate looks after them like a boss, By now I know a lot more About light and realise I need another light especially for flowering, the plan is to order a 240w quantum board, 301b Samsung chips just as I go on holiday to take delivery on return, this takes a bit longer than expected to order light, I leave for holiday around end of week 5 veg
