Week 6 started yesterday, July 11. Final step for bruce banner is now done!!! A little sloppy but whatever, lol. I'm still learning and definitely having fun 🍀😎😁👍✌️ UPDATE: July 14th, did some tie down/guiding on the sky og. Also the bruce banner is still a few days from that step but is doing quite well. Pulled everybody out of the closet and took some photos. Did some supercropping and raised the lights... 12/15: Had to raise the lights again...only 3 inches left, then I'm limited to supercropping for height control...

Week Harvest My journey of Runtz Automatic and her entrance in the Eternity Grow Cup 2025 began on January 7 when she popped her head above the soil. Runtz was an easy carefree plant to grow with no incidents of pests or disease. A few defoliations were all that was necessary to keep her in check. I kept her under a light schedule of 18/6 to maximize her light exposure. After topping her she grew only 24 inches tall. This small plant structure is suitable for growers with limited space. She was harvested on March 20, day 74 from germination. As part of the flushing process, I topped the pot with ice, then watered with ph 6.5-6.7 water for 3 days. Then I put Runtz Auto in the dark for 2 days still in her pot. March 20, she got the chop, Wet weight 314g and is hanging dry in a darkened room. As she dries, candy, sweet, fruity smells escape the room. Temps are 71-72and 43-48% humidity. I am sure she is as tasty as she smells and will not disappoint in effects. My sincere thanks to Patricia @Zamnesia for her support and encouragement throughout this grow. Big thanks and sincere appreciation to Plagron and Zamnesia for hosting this fun and exciting contest. Everyone entering the contest started with the same strain in either a feminized auto or photoperiod seed. Zamnesia generously provided 5 seeds to everyone and Plagron provided the Green Sensation flowering additive. During this contest I enjoyed visiting many contestants’ diaries and seeing beautiful gardens. Many, like me, are limited in space or number of plants they can grow but all are displaying fine specimens. Some Runtz phenotypes are very sativa dominant, with long thin leaf fingers, while others lean more indica. What will be most interesting will be the smoke reports on effects. My theory is that the more sativa leaning in structure, the more active, energetic and euphoric that plant will be and the indica leaning specimens will be more relaxing and uplifting. So these two are growing completely opposite of each other. I feed them the same and one is losing fan leaves while the other is thriving. The one that is thriving I actually topped so we will see if it stunt the growth by any chance

Nothing much to report. Buds gradually thickening up. Smells gorgeous! Will be a shame to cut her down...the chop is coming though. I'm not sure the yield will be that good as she didn't stretch much but time will tell...

No idea about the weight. I'll have to update when they are dry. I'll buy a hanging scale next cycle so I can measure moisture loss. The temp is now around 21-23 C, but the RH is holding around 60% so hopefully it'll still be a slow, steady dry. One smelled of pure grapefruit, one almost like Rhubarb and very gassy, the other was more citrus.. still a bit of grapefruit and gas, but more of a bergamot smell. At different points I've smelled Rhubarb, pepper, mint and cream/milk coming from these plants. Will be an interesting smoke.

Was really easy to tell when she was close to harvest. Pre flower lasted about 15 Days and quickly stopped growing at 67cm coming into 3rd week of flower and quickly got nice a fat. All pistils were Amber on day 30-32 of flower. Could of pult it on day 60 or around that. Was a nice plant to grow, as I said, just feed her right, she doesn't ask for much but a bit of light and a steady dose of feed with micro nutrients and your golden. You don't need a mad powerful light to get some nice bud quality. This plant spent most of flowering under my SF 1000 and there was no larf. And other plants grown at the same time as this has larfy/airy bud still not done yet at the end but with this lady she likes to come along altogether. Really solid genetics. Haven't had to do much in the way of harvesting, as I hung dry it whole so I haven't had to trim yet but she's super sticky, very sweet and pungent with an earthy, musky smell with fruity undertones that are crying to come out after a good 4-6 week cure. 2 MONTH UPDATE Well, hey there. Back to my runtz again. Just very closer creeping to be unlessed out into my puff box. I had to hold myself back. So, 2 months later. 20 little 3-5g jars. And the smell has just got really dank sweet smelling. Has dropped the earthy smell, and in it's place, is a slight citrus on the grind but still carries a heavy sweet taste that lingers on the your senses. I just wanna stick my head in a jar of this stuff. Yum yum yum. I'm gonna give it another month and I'll get back to ye with a decent smoke review, as I'm to high now. Thanks GFS. Your runtz has earned a place to be stored for that lonely night, when your mates are all home, 2am, can't sleep, but wait, "ggs remembers, there's still a nice big juicy runtz bud waiting to be puffed", wait what, just 1 bud, "actually yeah, let's have a jar", sure why not, today ends in a Y right!!. Oct/11/22 3 month cure update Wow, what a bud. So, 3 months in..and boy o boy. Has she released her goodness. I wish you could change the ratings. As bud changes upon a long cure. So, there's this really sweet, kinda damp musky citrus smell..the citrus really has taken over the bulk of the smell though. The sweet part is like tropical fruits. (All different kinds) as you grind it, a burst of sweet smelling dank musk, with all little small background scents are there. But she is dominated by a citrus, sweet dank musk smell, (im sorry, its the only way I can explain it) , it's really hard to describe. She has such a deep aroma that even thr most seasoned grower would find it had to compliment this auto. She really is in a class of her own guys. She's dank, very sweet, has a lovely citrus twang with all different flavours going on in your mouth. It's like a party in there. The smoke on the vape has only enhanced it. It's lovely and creamy on the inhale while tasting the citrus burst along with that dank almost earthy musky taste, that compliments the sweetness very very well. As for the stone. It gives a real nice uplifting happy feeling. But as you vape on. I felt my eyes getting heavy and couch lock kicked in. The grows was done in day 65, but I gave it another 5 days or so, to get said affect. And man, on the vape, the stone is amazing. Best stone so far from any auto I've grown. And I'm not just saying that. And also, it tastes lovely to vape. As, I normally just roll doubles with weed, no tobacco. "Yuck". So, I will for sure, be growing this gal again. I have another pheno from this strain.. that's 3 months curing also. Also tastes very similar, bit more harsh but, still lovely.

Just couldn't resist to give a go 😁🤤 Week 0 Germination Jan 25-Feb 1 Germination in propagator. beans landed directly in substrate within 5 min after opening the package. Started believing that all methods like glass water, paper towel etc. are really useful if seeds are old, stored incorrectly or coming from shady seedbank. If seeds are from trusted source with strong genetics wouldn't be bother trying anything else than planting your beans directly to substrate. So far 100% success This time both baby girls started showing their heads within 2 days after planting seeds. Jan 25 Seeds planted. Propagator at 20 degrees and 90% humidity. Jan 27 Girls popped through the soil. Warm welcome to Kitana and Aphrodite 😍 Jan 28-30 Both babies growing at the same pace. Jan 31 Time to move from this baby size propagator to a better and more comfortable place. Feb 1 End of germination week. All went painlessly and successfully. I am super excited for whats to come 😁 Hopefully this will be another easy and successful ride.
