12/25/2023-Germination Day 1
Merry X-mas 2023 I decided to start a run of SolFIre Gardens Hoodz Candyz S1. I am going to do a cup filled with RO water a touch of Hydrogen peroxide and let it sit for 24-48 hours until I see tap root then I am going to put it into a rapid rooter.. Tap root Down and put it about 1/4 of the say down the Rapid rooter.
I made some modifications to my basket on this run.. I have taken a few Pods that I use for my cloning machine and decided that I am going to try and use them as sure plants, so that I can take my water right up to the bottom of the basket this time and see if these can make my planting more consistent.

Misted the dome lightly misted the rapid rooter and added a little water to the bottom of the pan to encourage root growth to the pan.

She is up, she has broken surface, I misted the root riot, and around the bottom of the tray to try and entice root growth down rapidly.

HAPPY NEW YEARS!!.. I did it I planned it out so my planting day would fall on New Years and it worked.. Yay!!!

Since the roots are not to the water yet, I am pouring one cup of water lightly on the hydroton around the lady to try and encourage root growth down to the water..

The plant is doin very well, the colas are all getting bigger and the resin production is huge. I'm near the harvest so within few days I'll give her the last nutrients ans the next week I'm gonna flush her. I'm very happy about this plant, she takes nutes very well and give zero problem.

Plants are huge( most of them anyway) and I forget about 2 weeks preflower stretch , so I am switching to bloom mode from today. Defoliated again.

Defoliated them a little. Nothing special.
I try to keep at least 3 or so big leaves below the net jfust in case there is an issue with the plant where it shows the symptoms at the lower branches first.
I believe this way I'm faster to diagnose in case something does go wrong with feeding.
Oh yeah, trellis is about 30cm (give and take) above the pots

11/24/21 - They look really good for how overgrown they are becoming. We need to move the light to the top of the tent soon.
11/25/21 - Still need to move the light to the top of the tent but all plants look reeeally good and are flowering.
11/26/21 - So far so good. They are drinking more water so we have increased feedings. Once the light gets moved to the top all plants will be getting sufficient light.
11/27/21 - We moved the light way up to the top and bumped the light to about 70% power. See today’s picture!
11/28/21 - The plants look amazing! Check out the video from today. Basically we are just letting the plants flower. Feeding as needed.
11/29/21 - The girls are doing great and are budding nicely. Huge flowers are opening up!
11/30/21 - Tomorrow will be the start of Week 3 of flower! We are so excited to have these plants and watching them go crazy in flower.

Was a bit stressfull week the plants on the left side of the pot seemed to be dehydrated, after i gave them water twice they recovered a lil bit.
As you can see the plant in the middle is huge.
I will take some clones of her to equalize the canopy eventually.
Monday i will switch to 12/12 and i think i will take the clones next week and start an other diary for them aswell.
Big pot s a bit problem with watering but i learn as the proces goes. They need a lot more water than im giving at the moment but im looking for a sweetspot. So for now im ordering an tensiometer and an fertometer so i can properly feed them in the flower period

Decided to harvest at 10-12% amber. Running out of time and needed to chop her down. Pretty sure I slowed her down from a heavy defol. She was supposed to be done on day 65 based on breeders notes. She took considerably longer for me so the heavy defol is the only thing I can think of.
She has sweet gas and grape terp. Very nice heavy dense buds but not as large as I was hoping. Despite the bud size I think it will be some good smoke. I’ll update with dried and cured bud pics.
Buds are very dense after dry and cure!

Hello growmies. We are reaching the end of the journey! I enjoyed the experience so much that I will repeat it. I'll take a look at the trichomes to decide when to cut it.

Vamos familia, actualizamos la cuarta semana de vida de estas Frosty tooth de Seedstockers, salieron las 5 de 5, 100% ratio éxito.
Aplicamos varios productos de Agrobeta, que son increíbles para aportar una buena alimentación a las plantas.
Temperatura y humedad dentro de los rangos correctos dentro de la etapa de crecimiento.
La tierra utilizada es al mix top crop, por cambiar.
De 5 ejemplares seleccioné los 3 mejores para completar el indoor y trasplanté directamente a macetas de 7 litros y aplique de manera foliar tetra 9 se ven bien sanas las plantas, tienen un buen color y progresan a muy buen ritmo por el momento.

For dozdos expert seed. the feeling I got from the smoke is really smooth, I can't smell much terpenes due to disease during the last flowering stage but the effect is giving me a sleepy mood during the day time also with the night time. you might get couch-lock if underestimate her.

Bonjour les amis. Cette canicule est terrible, il fait 39°C depuis une semaine et pas moins de 25 la nuit. On est tous très fatigués.
Je encore un peu étiré cette plante vers l'horizontal à 30°. Quelques branches latérales se sont redressées vers la lumière. Le fleurs sont déjà bien denses. Son odeur est très faible.
La couleur est bonne. Jai enlevé très peu de feuilles jaunies. Le sac de 7 litres est difficile à gérer, je dois arroser tous les jours. Cette plante resiste bien à la chaleur et continue de se développer. Visuellement elle ne semble pas prête mais au microscope la résine est majoritairement blanche mais peu ambrée. Je vais la laisser encore faisander une semaine. Pour limiter la chaleur j'ai diminué la lampe a 60% et baissé de quelques centimètres. Dli~32.

I hope everyone is doing well and happy Easter aka
Resurrection day... Anyway, this plant, it's starting to catcher groove.But as you can see, she is a triploid i believe based down the three leaves coming out the top.. If anyone has any experience with this and any tips would be much appreciated, i think it's cool, but I don't want it to be a problem that affects my other plants.. I don't think it will be.. Gave each medium around 15L water flushing,
Will continue to give only water for the next 14 days or so.

Hi Gromies, well sometimes I can be my own worst enemy seems I defoliated ( actually I'll blame the apprentice Urban grow cat 😺) He defoliated a little to much, it's hard to get good help these days! Anyway she got a bit of light burn directly under light bulb area. A mix of to much defoliation & I also turned light up to super lumen setting & being lazy I hadn't hooked the extraction fan & ducting up to the light ( it's an air cooled light shade) pump air from outside tent through sealed light shade & exhaust it outside. I hooked that up & raised the light around 20 cm & all is good now, some burnt leaves. She is bouncing back & grown more leaves. It may have slowed Bud development a little! I changed light cycle to 12.5 hours of darkness 11.5 hrs on to try & kick her into gear , fool her into thinking the season is coming to an end with shorter daylight hours. I may increase dark period a little more bit by bit, experiment a little, I've read of other growers who give plants less light around week 6 till harvest. She is getting a faint lemony smell. Lollipoped some of the smaller secondary branches, any tips low down not receiving much light & don't look like they will get much bigger, other than that I'm leaving her alone, probably just try & seperate any close growing colas so we don't get any Bud rot. Trop Cherry #8 x BeeJayz hasn’t been topped, I transplanted the girls this week from a 1 gallon pot to a 3 gallon pot. Trop Cherry was in a plastic pot but now in a fabric pot. Plants seem to be growing well.

Here we are guys in the third week of the journal, last week I had some concern about the ph which was spiking at 7+ overnight but the problem solved it self when the roots started to shoot in to the water.
my other concern was the temp inside the grow box which i solved buying a second hand portable ac (40€! such a bargain) now as you can see the girl is thriving and the roots too!!
as you can see in the picture i put a white bed sheet around the black container so the water won't get hot, it works AMAZINGLY now the water goes in the hotter day at max 21.2 and than goes back to 20.
Day 20 hey guys a small update,
yesterday i topped the girl, i have only one concern, the plant is so damn bushy and the lower side shoots are almost covering the shoots on the the side of the topping.
looking close i thought that maybe I had to top one set of leaves lower because under the fan leaves she is really really bushing everything is exploding but the plant still quite short, 7cm (2.7 inches) is that ok?
apart from this i can't complain, the dwc system is working amazingly and the pland is healthy.

I think the plant looks a bit bit pale so as I am writing this i added a 0.5 ml of flora micro to the res to add nitrogen, we will see how she reacts in the next days.

Today i defoliated both plants heavily for the last time, you can say i did a method called: schwazzing.
Turned on the reservoir for a couple of minutes. (Till the AutoPots are full and the valve closes)
Rised the pots aswell, so the canopy is very even.
I let them recover from the heavy defoliation i did, and next week i will slowly increase the light's strength. (Now still at 50% 50cm)
