Week 5 (11/30 - 12/6): Things are getting excitingggggggg!! I had to get some gloves because the buds are getting sticky -icky -ickyyyyy. I mean over these two weeks you wouldn't even recognize this tent. The flowers have really packed on some size and the smell is increasing by the day. It feels like we are coasting and just need to keep things watered at this point, but we have our lights up as high as they can go, so we are hoping we don't get too much more of a stretch from the plants. Next week will be our last topdress for these plants with our Gaia Green 2-8-4, and from there we will have about 4/6 more waterings with our terp tea and we will be just about done with our feeding schedule. We are considering another layer of trellis, and we had to upgrade our PH pen AGAIN.. so to all new growers, don't waist the money, get the Blue Lab from the start and take good care of it. We learned our lesson with $20. Otherwise, I don't have much to say other than stand by for some big ole harvests coming your way. Check out our before and after pics!

Harvest was on Day 80 from Seed Second run with this strain and she more than passed expectations! I thought the buds were big last go round but holy sh*t are they ever big this time around! And just packed with crystals, seriously can't wait to try this round and compare vs last round. The switch to Autopots was a huge improvement in my grow. Plants double the size of last time and I'm betting 30-50% more yield after dry and cute. Nice not having to water every day or two, gives you more time to focus on other aspects of growing and life. Maybe partially why the better outcome, more time spent on plant maintenance vs just watering. Was pretty impressed with the diameter of the stalk vs the size of the hole water moves through. These girls were pushing a LOT of water and you can tell when you see how hollow the stalks are. Despite that they were strong as ever. Never had a branch snap or bend, and I didn't use any plant support this go around. Was pretty impressed with trichomes production this time around as well. Buds were just packed and sticky AF while being so dense that they barely compress when squeezed. Also both plants went quite dark/purple in the end this go around where last run they were lighter like #1 was to start. Got a couple seeds left of this strain, will be saving them for once I eventually run out of bud. Really like the taste and effects from this strain, want to keep it around long as I can since I didn't see it listed any more on the breeders page 🤔

I've topped this girl a week before I switched to flower, they're all in a 120 x 120 x 200 frow tent under a sf2000 from spiderfarmer I'll add a HLG qb135 in about a week.

New week. Good plant growth despite rather low humidity for the autoflowering plants' growth phase. I'm eager to see how they develop. Feel free to ask me questions and give me advice, thank you.

Week 4 - 01/22 to 01/28 2021 Pictures from Days 25 + 26 TRANSPLANTED! Might have waited too long but hopefully the transplant and LST stress might slow the plant down since i think it's already flipping to flower like the other @SweetSeeds Dark Devil Auto and the Purple Lemonade from @FastBuds. I think the Red Poison might have been the first one I noticed to flip but at least this one will be quick. More and more reasons to go back to a photoperiod grow after this for more control/really test out the new lights 🙌 Ended up more 50/50 ratio of Destiny Organic's Dark Matter Living Soil + ProMixHP since I had to make the Destiny last. Apparently they went out of business just after I decided it was my favourite/new soil :( Would rather stay away from Ocean Floor since I haven't had the best experiences with it (bugs/rust fungus etc) Feel free to drop some recommendations other than Fox Farms below 👍 The Red Poison Auto is going strong other wise, keeping the LST basic to see if I can still get the screen in the tent but it wouldn't be practical at this point. I raised the @ViparSpectraLED P1500 another eight inches after transplant and started basic LST. I really wanted to get these four under a ScrOG but if 3/4 are already flipping and the LSD is still runty I might have to wait it out again. Just like the Dark Devil in my other Sweet Seeds diary, there is a solid smell on the fingers after adjusting it/when the fan hit it just right 😍 I have the @MarsHydroLED TSL2000 set up and ready to go once the girls settle into their new pots. Have the new surge protector/heavy duty power cords/power tool grade timers as mentioned in Week 3. Some of it shown in the pictures. Threw some videos in this week as well with some Queen's Radio GaGa, Beastie Boys' Brass Monkey, and a little hint of Arkells ....COME TO LIGHT on the short @ViparSpectraLED ..GET IT.. 😓 I thought the Red Poison had the streaks in the leaves but turns out it was the Purple Lemonade, My Chocolate Mint OG Auto just finished curing so I must have made that update during the test session 😎 Chocolate Mint OG Auto Diary: https://growdiaries.com/diaries/77696-humboldt-seeds-chocolate-mint-og-auto-grow-journal-by-glazedgrow -- Thanks for checking in! What's up, Gromies? It's been a journey watching this beauty grow, and we're just about ready to kick off the flowering phase in the next 1-2 weeks. Get ready for some serious bloom action! 👌🏻 Day 14: Keeping the momentum rollin' with the light at 25%, hitting 420 PPFD from a cozy 50cm distance, maintaining that solid DLI of 32 over a full 24 hours. Hydrated with 300ml of pH 6.5 water, plus a mix of power root and terra grow to keep the roots happy. Day 15: Steppin' up the game with the light at 25%, now hittin' 470 PPFD from just 30cm away, bumpin' up the DLI to 40 over 24 hours. Same hydration routine, 300ml of pH 6.5 water with power root and terra grow. Day 16: Keepin' it consistent, light still at 25% with 470 PPFD from 30cm, rockin' that DLI of 40 over 24 hours. Watered 'em with 300ml of pH 6.5 goodness, along with power root and terra grow. Day 17: Time to crank it up a notch! Light's now at 50%, hittin' a hefty 850 PPFD from that 30cm distance, with a DLI of 50 over 20 hours. Gave 'em a double dose of hydration, 2x 300ml of pH 6.5 water, along with power root, terra grow, and a touch of pure zym for that extra boost. Day 18: Let 'em chill today, no watering needed, just letting them soak up that light and grow! Day 19: Back at it with the light at 25%, now hitting 610 PPFD from 30cm, maintaining that DLI of 50 over a full 24 hours. Gave 'em a good drink with 400ml of pH 6.5 water, plus the usual power root, terra grow, and pure zym combo. Day 20: Steppin' it up again, light's now at 50% with 800 PPFD from 30cm, rockin' that 24-hour cycle. 📆 Week 4, 27 May - 2 June 2024 27-30 May - Observed and let the plant grow. 31 May - Cut small shoots off side branches. Placed trellis frame on DWC bucket. 1-2 Jun - Observed and let the plant grow. 📑 This was a good week for Pablo. She is very vigorous and healthy. I only allow the main branches to grow, cutting off any side shoots at this point and she is responding well to this method of training. I will see how she looks after another week of growth. I placed the trellis frame on to prepare her for the scrog net in the upcoming week or two. 🍶 28 May nutrient solution changed 🍽️ 28 May feeding schedule updated 💧 Using reverse osmosis water with EC/TDS at 0 🐉 Nutrient solution EC 2.6 at 72 degrees F 🔆 Light power at 60%, DLI 25 canopy coverage at 18hrs 😤 Using PYPABL, Air Pump, 400GPH That is it for this week. Thanks for the look, read and stopping by.

(germination through first week of seedling 11/29-12/10) Days 1 to 7 Starting a new grow with two Royal Queen, Purple Queen Seeds (thank you Royal Queen for making this possible) I plan to be rough with these plants and top them both to 8 colas. This journal will be different than my last (alot less detail) but I will still look for new opportunities to learn something new that I can share. I also plan to take at least 5 pics per week with 1 video and 1 'pretty' cover pic per week, however I also plan to delete the excess details at the end of each week. I had these seeds for about 4 months now. They have been stored in the fridge inside a paper bag. I took the seeds out of the fridge and let the rest on the counter for two days before dropping them in water. After a seed inspection of which I noticed some unatural bumps on the shell of one, but no cracks or splits, I dropped them both in purified water for 19 hours. Since the shells still hadn't cracked, I then transferred both seeds to paper towels with the belly button side up and pressed them against the glas side to make the tap root grow straight down. These seeds took 2 days to show a crack in the shell from the time that I placed them into the paper towel - Once they cracked, I cut the middle of Rapid Rooter starter pods and placed the tap root down inside the pods. I then closed the pods with ends of toothpicks and placed them in an incubator until they showed a tap root growing out from the bottom of the pods. That took a total of 4 days from paper towel to transplant day (now called Day 1) where they were about 1 to 1.5 inches above the soil line after I planted them in 1 cup pots. Dynomyco Mycorrhizal Inoculant was already mixed into the ph balanced soil that had been growing Happy Frog mycorrhizae for about a month. I used 8.75ph purified water with the soil to create a soil with 6.3ph (this soil has been notorious for being extremely low on ph and by week 4 to 5 after second topping the first fan leaves show a calcium deficit.)

Starting my first grow in the new tent with my first Mephisto seeds. Grabbed these from seedslocker a few months ago and they've been sitting in my seed vault in the fridge since. Popped them in a glass of water at 8pm on 10/18. Broke out the AC Infinity propagation system and added a bit of RO water to some coco pucks. About 24 hours later they sunk in the glass and had opened up a bit with root peaking out, so into the pucks they went on the evening of 10/19. No real movement on 10/20, turned the heat pad off because they were a little warm. Morning of 10/21 the Compound V I have in the propagator is popping and the pucks for the Fugue State seem to be moving a bit, I think they'll make their way out tonight. Opened vents on the dome to let them breathe a bit more. Fugue State all popping / on the cusp of popping by the early evening. Solid day of sprouting. 10/22 continued to develop as seedlings, one of the Fugue State is a bit stuck in it's shell, hoping it pops through soon. 10/23 transplanted into grow tent, working on dialing in humidity and temp. Dialed in lights at 1.5ft and level 2, checked with PAR meter and DLI calculator. #2 still stuck in it's shell, let's go little buddy! The tent has been stood up and cooking a bit w/ the lights blazing and a dehumidifier running to dry out our soil a bit. Had issues with fungus gnats last grow and I'm trying to prevent that this time. Ordered some beneficial nematodes as a line of defense and sprayed soil with a good soak of neem oil as a precaution after drying out. Sticky traps show no gnats so far. Soil is Coast Of Maine Stonington Blend Aeration Formula, a 70 / 30 Coco / Perlite blend that I've used before. I have Coast of Maine dry nutrients and Fox Farm liquid nutrients, will likely try to stick to the dry nutrients unless fungus gnats emerge again. Soil is in 5 gallon fabric pots. I added 2/3 cup of Stonington Blend Plant Food and 1/3 cup of Wiscasset Blend Earthworm Castings to each pot along with some Mycorrhizal Fungi spores and worked it in. I have been using the AC Infinity self watering bases but as I'm running 6 total plants this grow I've ordered the new Vivosun self watering bases to compare them.

This week I am going through and pulling the large fan leaves off , she is a slow flowering plant so I'm just doing my best to be patient with her !!! A true gem with an unique structure !!! I think this girl is gonna be a 10 week flower , she is just starting to get smaller flower spots . Still a beast !! Added a CO2 bag directly above the canopy , added a 150 watt "blurple" light above GG#4 S1( number 2) More picture notrs and videos to follow !!

Pics from day 56. We have some cloudy trichomes, a few still haven’t gone cloudy but a few are amber as well. We may be harvesting by week 9 which is exciting. I have been giving her around a half gallon of water every two or three days manually watering the soil with a watering can. I occasionally give her a spurt of water with the drippers which we used to use exclusively to water, but around week 4 or 5 of flower I realized she needed more water than my drippers could handle. I think the new humidifier helped pack on bud size. Checked under the pot and noticed that there are roots shooting out the bottom. Super proud to take it to this point. This is a truly beautiful and amazing smelling strain with many other amazing qualities. Can’t wait to grow more
