Dutch Passion Shaman Die vierzehnte Woche begann sonnig und warm und endete mit dem Beginn einer massiven Starkregen Front. Über 70 Liter Wasser werden in 48 Stunden fallen. So entschied ich zum Ende der Woche, beide Shamaninnen mit einem Gartenschirm zu schützen. Die Blüten schwellen, die Aufregung steigt. Ich kontrolliere die Pflanzen täglich, um sicher zu stellen, dass beide weiterhin gesund bleiben und ich am Ende saubere und harzig leckere Buds ernten kann. Und diese Zeit ist gut investiert, denn ich entdeckte zu Beginn der Woche eine Blüte, die verdächtig aussah und sofort herausgeschnitten wurde. Shamanin No. 1, die stickstoffüberfütterte grüne Dame hatte ganz oben ein klein wenig Fäulnis zwischen Blüte und Stiel. Im Laufe der Woche konnte ich dann nichts weiteres mehr finden. Auch der Schnitt ist sauber verheilt. Beide stehen gut da. Als klar war, dass es über Tage massiv regnen wird, habe ich begonnen beiden Shamaninnen nur noch sparsam Wasser zu geben. Ein bisschen Trockenstress soll sich gut auf die Trichom Bildung auswirken und ich hoffe, dass sie so in der kommenden Woche durstig und mit geschlossenen Spaltöffnungen weniger anfällig für Pilze sein wird. Denn eines ist sicher: Die kommende Woche wird für uns drei heftig. Ich habe das miese Virus und oben drauf noch eine bakterielle Bronchitis. 29 Grad Fieber. Another new thing with this grow is how it will be grown under the new LED's by Medic Grow. They will be under MINI-SUN 2 240W LED grow lights using their V1 Spectrum, Its good from seed to harvest. Alright I've updated this postmortem and cure just to give an idea of what I was up to during the dry and cure weeks. This grow was a ton of work and I'm very please with the results. I learned a ton about soil and environment control and really feel like I'm gaining confidence and coming into my own as a cultivator. I've been playing a lot with ice water hash and rosin and have set some neat goals for the future like hunting ice water hash cultivars, going perpetual and expanding the amount of canopy I can work with by building a network of remote-operated satellite flower tents in friends' and family's abodes . Week 10, the second week of flowering, has been a wild ride in our Tropical Tangie Ninja Run. Our girl is on fire! Talk about growth – she's become a bona fide giant, standing tall and proud. The canopy's like a green sea, and I'm thinking she might outgrow the room soon! I might have to sneak in for that defoliation before day 21 – let's see how ninja-fearless I can be! And guess what? Her fruits are stepping into the limelight, and they're like little works of art in the making. They're shaping up beautifully and in promising numbers. It's like she's a fruity ninja master! Now, let's talk numbers: Starting the week at a TDS of 300 and a pH of 6.1, things were looking balanced. But she surprised me with her super hydration skills – guzzling down 6 liters a day! So, as her thirst grew, I decided to amp up her food to 420 ppm. Yeah, the numbers asked for a little humor, didn't they? And let's give it up for my ninja buddies! They're on ninja-duty, keeping a vigilant watch over everything. The pH's sitting pretty at 6.2, ensuring the perfect conditions for our Tangie to thrive. She only gets 15H of daylight but she is the only one who is not showing stress becouse of that.. leaves are nice and flat, colour is beautiful green.. so all is good! she hasnt even streched much (yet) I put her on my windowsill tonight again, so she will not have to feel the cold night air .. F1 strains are really something else👌 im excited to see how she is gonna bloom🙏 think im gonna top her soon. happy growing for all✊

Week 3 has been great! We topped 2 Pre 98 Bubbas and 2 Dirty Blondes so far , 2 other Pre98 Bubbas will also get the topping but just gotta give them a few more days and they will be ready for it ! As of day 21, the Blackberry plant is doing well! It is growing vigorously and will need to be controlled as it increases in size. The FIM has already helped a little, but I have started some LST with the Atlas plant trainer to start making the canopy wide and flat. A few of the newest leaves have the very start of yellowing in their tips, so I think this plant is maxing out at 1.1-1.2 EC. I am going to keep it around 1ec for the rest of vegitative growth, as EC can drift upwards in the reservoir very slightly while the airstone is running. Runoff, PH, and other parameters are right where I want them! I have a new gallon of Calimagic coming, so I am switching back to it this week in preparation for early flowering. Thanks for reading, happy growing, and stay safe! 👍🌱 Day 24: LST continues, the plant is growing quickly and is very lush. Outside of removing a few low growth tips that will never develop, I am going to try to leave as many leaves as possible. If this maxes out my humidity I will start taking a few lower leaves, and those that are too tightly squeezes in the center of the plant. Considering the plant's size as of day 24, I am hoping the flowering stretch isn't too strong or I will have to really work to contain this plant! Day 25: earliest signs of flowering. Day 26: runoff quantities were edging towards being too low as the plant has more foliage to transpire through, so watering adjusted to 5x per day, 15 second intervals. This is an increase from 60 seconds per day of watering to 75, and should accommodate the needs of the plant as it continues to grow.

The girls look healthy, happy, and smell delicious, kinda sweet citrusy. I'm overall satisfied so far. They have some crystals forming on them as well. I feel like it's gonna be a successful grow. But don't think I'm gonna use Green-O-Matic again, it's not as short as I wanted it to be, and it has unstable phenotype. I hope the effects are nice and relaxing though.

This plant started off slow but is growing great now. Think green leaves with indica dominant characteristics. Tight node structure. It's been a very easy plant to grow.

So, with these interesting times and what is becoming a fast evolving global catastrophe. I, myself, along with the rest of you ( I hope ) can take some solace in looking after our gardens, to have some peace away from the news, to give our ladies the best care we are able to provide 🌱 If you ever needed any vindication or validation as to why growing your own is best. More than half the world currently in lockdown, and with MJ in short supply, our actions speak for themselves! Anyway, back to this diary. I done a lot of work on the room, invested a lot and tried to make everything as automated as possible. Everything runs on smart plugs, the hydroponic system is DIY and is RDWC which is cooled with a Hailea 150a. 6 plants is what I am going for this time, with a shorter veg length compared to the last grow. I prefer to wait until they show their sex, but if they don’t by week 5, I plan on flipping anyway all being well. I am using 730nm LED’s that come on 15 mins before lights on, turn off during lights on, and then they come back on when lights go out, and stay on for 15 mins. This should enable me to run 13/11 during flower with little risk. I am also going to add a UVB fixture to my custom rig which will only be used during the final 2 weeks of flower. I have 3 Alibaba lights attached to a custom rig, they really are awesome lights. I tested the room out with an Apogee SQ-520 par meter (PAR map in pics). I have dimmed them down, so PAR is around 500 across the whole canopy, this will be increased to 1000 once they’re flipped. I vent from my house, to the room and then outside, this increases the CO2 in the room, which I think helped the yields on the last grow, generally CO2 hovers between 470 and 700 PPM. My ladies look a little sick, but tbh, I struggle starting out in Rockwool, and things usually correct themselves within a couple weeks. With the quarantine I have struggled to pick up a humidifier that is capable of maintaining that room, so it has been all over the place since the start. I have opted to go with Royal Gorilla this cycle, let’s see if it’s as potent as RQS says that it is! Good luck all and take care...
