D21 - Last girl standing. She may be all alone in the tent, but she is thriving and looking healthy, and I hope to have another girl soon to keep her company. I gave her about 0.5 liters of water @ pH 6.1. D24 - The girl is thriving: 12 cm tall, 24 cm wide. Short and stocky like Cartman. I switched the light from about 40% to 60% yesterday, and I'm now reading around 500-600 PPFD at the canopy level. On the high end for sure, so let's see how she handles it. However, the daytime temp in the tent jumped up to around 30 degrees C after I switched the light. #tinytentproblems D24 (part 2) - Alright, it's only been a few hours, but it is clear that she REALLY didn't enjoy that sudden increase in photons. After some hours under the more intense light, I checked on her, and she displayed several signs of light stress, such as her leaf edges curling upward ("taco"-ing) while the whole leaf was drooping. Clearly, she wasn't happy, so I dimmed the light until I saw around 430 PPFD at the canopy level. She is "sleeping" now, but I will check on her tomorrow to see how she reacts. D27 - Today was the last day in week three of veg. I think she is already going into pre-flower, and she already has a faint smell to her. She is 16 cm tall and 28 cm wide. I haven't trained her yet but will start doing some LST next week. I also started brewing compost tea (worm castings, neem meal, kelp meal, biochar, rock dust, algal limestone, bentonite, and molasses) which I will leave overnight and feed to her tomorrow.

10 September Harvest - see pictures. While some growers leave the plant whole when they cut, I do not. It is a personal preference and situational convenience if your a home grower. I chose to cut large, long branches, and remove any whole water leaves, as long as it doesn’t interfere with the bud formation. I don’t trim yet. This is done for a few of reasons: 1) It’s my last good close-up look at her until another 5 days or more, 2) I don’t want wet leaves drying on my buds if I can help it, and 3) I occasionally like being able to shine a small LED flashlight on the flowers while its drying. Mold is our greatest problem as growers, it can destroy a beautiful grow right up until the end process. Then I hang it in a dark closet, provide circulation and ventilation. Light and heat, anything above 80 degrees F, will start a break down in cannabinoids during the dry, it is ideal to stay away from both. I’m fortunate that a humidity level of 50- 55% and temperature of 65-70 degrees F is fairly consistent and easy to maintain. Anything below 60 degree F will prevent the adequate drying out of chlorophyll. Almost all my flower routinely take 5-7 days, some a little longer, to properly dry out. 15 September Trim - see pictures. First you’ll notice the buds have shrunk up to half their original size. This is just a fact that we growers have to deal with. Due to evaporation without uptake of water, it takes about 3 days for the chlorophyll to dry up, then slowly go through a chemical change. Along with the leaves, cannabinoids also begin a chemical change after 3 days called decarboxylation. A slow process where the THC level increases while curing. You want the leaf to be dry so they can be hand trimmed easily, but you do not want that bud so dry that it starts to fall apart in your hand. Try to handle carefully by the main stem to avoid touching the bud all together. A lot of these cut leaves will be covered with trichomes, good for making oils, or other products, it’s an option worth looking into keeping it. After trimming, I do separate a few premium flowers for my first smoq. Then loosely fill wide mouth quart mason jars with about 1 oz/28 gr of product per jar. I seal the lids for a few hours to determine what relative humidity they are at, see hygrometer pic, before making a decision to put in a 62% humidity control pack of my choice or to wait, then place in secure in a cool dark place with stable humidity and temperature. It is very important to then observe/burp or exchange the air as needed, up to several times a day, until 62% rh is achieved. Once your close to to your mark, put in your desired RH level control terpene shield. If you have a problem getting there: 1) it has dried out too much, no real solution, try to put several large cut stems left over from harvest into the jars with the buds to try and increase humidty, 2) it has not dried out enough, in this case no problem, just remove and dry out a little more. This is also a personal choice, some people like it drier in the 50% plus range. Whatever you do, research and preserve. At that time burping is no longer required. Cannabis will reach its peak potency potential at about 40 or so days into the cure. The finished product should be a perfect grind when cured correctly without clogging up your grinder, this could take a month. Now that I’ve said that, I’m sure someone has grown something that they have not been able to grind. It can remain in this state for an easy 6 months with little change, locking in all the terpenes and potencies. All you need to do is occasionally check the product to ensure there are no molds. If your grow/harvest/cure techniques are good this should not be an issue. It would not be uncommon to find many cannabis strains will last, with small degradable change, for up to one year after being stored this way. Using an airtight glass container, controlled relative humidity, maintained low temperature, and kept in darkness will equal maximum shelf life. Always avoid direct sunlight and temperatures above 80 degrees F. The reasons I’ve ultimately chosen Deep Water Culture as a grow medium. Each has their own pros and cons indeed. I found the most efficient, less maintenance and ideal solution for my situation was DWC. Burdens to overcome depend on size up set-up; initial equipment cost, size of containers, ph monitors, air pumps, type of water to use-reverse osmosis, RO cost/set-up/maintenance, ways to transfer/change water and nutrients, what nutrients to use and schedules, takes several grows to learn and understand, a 1 year learning curv, easy to nutrient burn. The Benefits of growing in water; no dirt, no bugs, no diseases, rare nutrient deficiencies/toxicities, steady and rapid growth that enables the plant to reach its genetic potential. After harvest, there is about a 1 hour equipment cleanup, sterilization and turn around process before replanting. Cannabis will perform in so many different ways and mediums, no one way is the best and the best way is the one you are using, right. Chose what works for you in the long run. There will always be an initial cost in set-up. My advice if one were in need to cut corners, I would not recommend cheap lights. This single factor is the most critical, afford for the best. The notion that organic and water has a different taste, flavor and potency effect is absolutely debatable. The more we learn the better we grow and experience is always the best teacher. This is what works for me and my methods of growing in general from beginning to end. A BIG “Thank You” to everyone who stopped by to take a look. I enjoy Auto strains simply by what can be achieved in a short time. No matter the strain they will unveil one thing in common, the demand for attention. This week has been a super explosive week for growth! The girls flipped to flower and are stretching like crazy. Started showing signs of flower on Thursday this past week so when time for the nutrient and water change, I went ahead and switched over to bloom nutrients and put my trellis net up to prepare for the stretch and boy am I glad I did. Every morning I have been checking and topping off the res with either RO water or mixed nutrients, I have kinda been alternating between just water and nutrients, just watching the plants and letting them tell me. Everything is looking super healthy and going well. I may end up adding another trellis net Friday with the nutrient change if the stretching continues. It seems these girls are legitimately growing about 2-3 inches a day. Its crazy! Environment continues to stay in check, humidty is getting a little high, but should be able to bring it down with the dehumidifier in the lung room. I have been plucking a few leaves here and there, like very minimal, just to get some penetration to the lower sites and see if we can get them to stretch up through the net. Once the stretch finishes, I think anything that didnt make it up will be removed so that we can focus the growth to the top bud sites. Still learning, but that is the plan for now. Other than that, going to continue as planned and excited to watch these girls flower! As always any tips, comments, and recommendations always welcome and appreciated!

I'm very happy with the results, I'm also about to add a dimmable sf1000 for more power. I'll soon introduce microvita topcrop to improve the soil. ==Update Sept. 25== I added a dimmable sf1000 in addition to the sf1000d, which I set to 80%. We'll see how the plants react. The 221 m3/h extractor is coming soon, adjustable. Temperatures are 27-29 degrees with 58-60% humidity. I currently have a 130 m3/h extractor.

Quick update. Everything is going pretty well, it's growing quickly. 😉✌️

good flowering, everything is stable, a lot of inflorescences appeared this week, next week it is planned to remove the lower leaves. We had to tilt two branches from the middle, as they stretched out very much and there was a risk of burn, we are waiting for 7 weeks!

If any plant in my tent showed me its displeasure for my kindergarten growing skills it was this plant . I'm beggining to whip her back into shape now but I'm sure I took a week off her life . She never really stopped growing but never looked that healthy after week 3 but began budding regardless .

Day 89!!!! I came back from vacation and started harvesting right away, so the girl grew really big, but I gave her too little light, and at the end of the growth I didn't remove the leaves :( because I was busy on vacation :( but basically I'm still incredibly happy, her flowers are not very firm, they have a lot of "AIR", but a lot of shiny sticky trichomes, the girl grew really well throughout her growth, next time I will definitely use LST, this growth was with very little LST, there will be an update when the harvest dries up :) good luck to everyone:).

Nice strain to grow overall especially for the terps it produced, yield was more on the low side as expected from one for these "hype" strains or whatever you want to call them.

***** Week 10 growth - February 6 to 12, 2021 - Week 1 Flower ***** Here we go.......on to flower now. Last week was transition week and bud sites are setting on the girls now. Lights flipped a week ago to 12/12.......typical flower. Stretch is starting this week now. Last week was marginal height growth. Nutrients switched over to flower schedule and following week 1 again this week. Next week will move up the ppm more and start on bud enhancers. More microbes and sweetener this week. Silica ppm also increasing now as not looking to bend branches much more now. Decided to throw Scottie Real some support and Recharge arrived this week so switching microbes for the rest of the run👍💪 Have a hole in the canopy that I am just going to need to live with. GSCHB and MM2 did not growth as expected. They are not reaching up as tall as the others and stretch is slow. Not looking like they will catch up in next couple of days☹️☹️☹️ Also thinking of increasing some fulvic acid for this girl and see if it helps her stretch....Gold Storm. Little more detail....... Feb 6/21 - Day 1 - been drying for 2 days now so water day with some supplements - 3L with CalMag @ 2ml, AN B52 @ 1.5ml (using up an old bottle to finish), Enzymes @ 1ml - 575ppm and 5.9pH - Need to start increasing silica. Using up some B52 which has some silica in it.......and other vitamins so its all good😀 Feb 7/21 - Day 2 - Leaves up today and praying nicely. - dry out day - stretch is going now and the girls are growing hard.....this girl is still working on setting buds Feb 8/21 - Day 3 - Feed day again, going to stay with week 1 flower nutrients, same as last week. - IPP Grow @ 1ml, Micro @ 2ml, Bloom @ 2ml, Black Storm @ 3ml, Sea Storm @ 5ml, B+ @ 0.5ml, Red Sun @ 0.5gr, Carbs @ 1ml, Natures Candy @ 1ml, Piranha @ 1ml, Microbes @ 2ml. - 4L.......yeah, took a little longer to mix up this feed😀 - 1350ppm and 5.9pH - no run off from the girls today......little light on the water, they should have had 5L each. - last feed with bud starter, Red Sun, next will be Bud Fusion for bud booster next week. Feb 9/21 - Day 4 - no run off yesterday so adding more water today......plain tap water.....no additives - 5L for each girl. 225ppm and 6.0pH - good run off today. Feb 10/21 - Day 5 - Nothing today......watered two days in a row - ready for more silica!! Branches need to firm up.......this girl has some very soft branches still!!! Feb 11/21 - Day 6 - Recharge arrived today!!!!!! Time for more microbes and sweetener😀💪 - purple stripes on main stems so adding more magnesium through Epsom salts - 4L mixture for the girls with Epsom Salts @ 0.5Tbsp, Silica @ 1.5ml, IPP Carbs @ 1ml, Recharge @ 1 tsp - 1,000ppm and 5.9pH - different microbes now and excited! Feb 12/21 - Day 7 - Nothing again today.......give them watering tomorrow morning. - Wondering if their leaves are a little dark........consider bring down ppm next week.......it was hard this week at 1300ppm........water is 250 on its own so around 1100ppm nutes added. - she is not stretching much but looking very happy......suspect she will have large colas......hopefully👊 Looking good ETS......the girls are doing very well overall. This girl is very happy and looking healthy, branching a little soft, stretch has been minimal so far but might take off more next week with silica being increased. She grows some HUGE fan leaves😀😀

Love the strain. There was heat stress, and for such much light 2x2 tent would be better. After curing: Tasty as hell grape "cold" flavour, body tranqulizing high, after few hits from the bong its a good idea to chill and watch a movie. Absolutley love the smoke in the end, from bag appeal to high :)0
