Switched to 12/12. No Problems with any of the strains so far. Upped the wattage to 400 all plants but the LSD liked it. LSD showed little sunburn but got used to it quickly. Feeding every once in a while and adding some Bloom Nutrients early.

Yellowing advancing brow spots, some leafs drying and falling off. One girl I will flush tomorrow to cut on the weekend. The other 2 have more one week or 2. Is these yellowing hurt on the stage the girls are?

Harvest: Everything dried up to 347 grams + 96 grams of super high quality trim. Overall I am not too pleased with the smoke of the product. Although the bud size, bag appeal, smell and taste are pretty much all there, the shitty burn is a deal breaker for me and the majority of this weed is quite frankly useless. Another downside is while smoking I’ve found 4 seeds in an ounce from almost every strain. Light leaks? At least I learned a ton, including how to get super good burn for my next crop. I’m hoping that curing for a month or so will improve the burn but I wouldn’t really count on it. I have seen weed dried for 4 days with no cure and no flush smoke clean and not go out once. I have been told that the key to white ashes/clean burn is proper mineral content in the soil and there is tons of scientific studies on cigar ash going back 100 years. Plants grown in a medium with high levels of decomposing organic matter, phosphorus, magnesium, chlorine and heavy metal ratio tend to produce black/grey ash. Whereas plants grown in a medium with a higher ratio of trace minerals like calcium carbonate and potassium in the form of wood ash, rock dusts, oyster shell flour and lower levels of decomposing organic matter will produce a dense, uniform white ash that rarely goes out. But this is still all theory until I test it to confirm for myself a few times. My last few outdoor harvests did not improve with curing at all so I’m hoping this will be the missing link. Plain peat moss and coco clearly lack essential minerals that help burn. If said theory is correct I should find a synthetic nutrient line with more trace minerals. Makes me wonder if growing if rockwool/basalt rock could improve burn in a hydro setup. I think I did a fairly decent job for my first grow. I went wrong in a million different places but I still stuck it out and got some decent herb. Things went wrong early when I got black spot mold, nitrogen/magnesium deficiencies and powdery mildew. I corrected most of it but things didn’t get really bad until mid veg when I intentionally skipped a few feedings and defoliated quite heavily stunting the plants. I also didn’t even top or start LST until the 6-9th node which was really stupid and hurt my yield. My temperatures were all over the place from the learning curve. I was severely overwatering without realizing it. 100% peat moss is a shitty medium. I also fed way too late in flower (not what caused shitty burn). I also used synthetic nutrients in soil. 06/15/2020 Harvesting a good amount of pollen, not sure if you can see but it is cloudy in here. Female will be fed Happy Frog fruit and flower 9-4-3. And that will be all she gets till harvest time (seeds popping out.) Next week male should be spent, putting out clouds of pollen every day very copious amounts! And diary will continue till I harvest her seed. Just topping off reservoir with plain water for the male I have got 1.3 grams of beautiful pollen to selectively pollinate only the finest of female specimens for at least 6 months. Cookie Cake will get dusted with this bad boy. As well as Red Sky #1

Sunday, 07-08-2022 Plant looking OK but significantly smaller than Super Lemon Haze.2 - Test Grow #5. Quadline growing out. Some nodes tiny and just developing. Only one feed this this past week as I allowed the pots to dry out from the rain in the previous week. Supplemented feed yesterday with my Beneficial Booster. I made a mistake when preparing and put in double the amount of molasses but the plants seem to be tolerating it so far this morning.

Started the flush 4 days ago. The main cola on this beast is the size of a 2 litre soda bottle. If I don't get 150g+ of this plant I'll be amazed.

3 seeds from barneys farm : glue gelato auto. Diary : Day 1: I dug a pit and cleaned my dirt with metal grid and a wheelbarrow & Installed the greenhouse. Day 2 : I rotated my dirt and added universal soil. 4 x 70l to area of 6m2. I also planted seeds in universal soil without sprouting first. Day 3 : I gave water and checked for sprouts. Bought moist meter and dripping hose. Installed those and making the greenhouse more moisty now. Feeling : Verry happy for my first time. Lots to learn.. . Excited

The end has come. The summits are nice and dry and all week long they remained in the closet in the dark with perfect humidity values. The air recirculation was constant in fact everything is dried properly and not even in a long time. The tops remained nice and compact and cleaning them after drying them kept them much nicer to look at. I put everything in the glass jars with the Boveda bags of 64% humidity and every day I open them 5 minutes in the morning and evening. In a few weeks everything will be perfect, you can already taste the difference from day to day. The leaves and branches that I have left from the cleaning I left them for a night in the freezer and I used them later to make the extract. Everything went better than I imagined both in yield and quality. in fact I am very satisfied with my work and I hope to learn more and more.

27/02/19 - Cant wait for these to be done as I’ve never had gelato before so I feel like I’m missing out 😂 but yeah other than I let them stretch abit taller than I usually prefer it’s all going well, new genetics/nutrients/medium seem to be doing the job. 02/03/19 - Just transplanted all into their final pot, just in time I think as it looked like the roots were starting to circle at the bottoms of the pot, sprinkled half a tea spoon of Mykos on each hole prior to the transplant & fed them 2.5 litres each. I was going to saturate the whole pot but I’ll do that next feeding.
