Week 11, & the End of 4 weeks of flowering (30 Days of 12/12) Welcome back to our regular scheduled programming.... Like I mentioned we are officially 30 days into our 12/12 lighting cycle. Now taking into consideration that this is one of the first runs of this particular strain the flower period is partially undetermined, I will be guessing based on Lineage of the parents, & following her closely towards the end to ensure my desired trichome ripeness. Katsu's HotCake's run's Approximately 8-9 Weeks & The Grape Ape run's slightly quicker at 7-8 Weeks You can certainly tell the difference between all 5 plants, I'm very glad I took cuts of everything ! as plants 2 & 3 are certainly the keepers of the bunch.. plant 2 showing some very cool fall colours already (emerson effect hitting strong asf) She is already starting to purple up & smells Very Sweet. My guess is this pheno leans more to the Grape Ape side. As far as plant 3 is concerned I can smell heavy Kush aromas emulating off her already, & based on her flowering structure I believe this pheno leans more Katsu Bubba. but we'll have to wait and see. A Minor amount of leaf plucking this week should be noted.. It will probably be the last time I mess with them, its time to start swelling up. It is my opinion that most of the stretch has been completed & i'm now looking at the final colas minus the couple weeks of filling out of course. As this is the end of four weeks of flower(12/12) Their food will be increased during the next feeding, thus far i've been impressed with the ease of this strain.. I wasn't sure what to expect to be honest but I will say this I was weary of over-feeding but all of them seem to enjoy heavy feedings. This week I set up a new grow tent where I am doing my vegging only, I am running it off of my same house of Hydro humidifier, Just split the mist between the two tents. I just watered with only water and silica no other nutes. Going to switch the light to 12 and 12 tonight

VEG WEEK 10 My Base Nutrient Inputs: See VEG WEEK 6 for details of stock solutions A & B. My grow weeks run from Monday to Sunday. This week the goal was to let the girls grow, space the tops around the trellis, and attach each stem to the outside of this structure. Tuesday - Watering Day - 1 gallon each as described above. Friday - Watering Day - The pots are very light. Laverne is quite thirsty in pic # 10 - 2 gallons each as described above. Friday - Pruning Day - Pinched out all the new grow at each fan leaf. The goal is a single stalk with no side branching. Also removed some lower Fan leaves and a few select others. Unfortunately, Laverne lost a top. Not sure how, but I snapped it😡, and it dangled by a little of the outer stem tissue. I quickly reached for some tape to administer first-aid, which has worked for me in the past. Sadly, a few days later, it was evident (pic # 16), she wasn't going to make it. Sunday - Training and Trim Day - Laverne is now down to 11 tops and my plants symmetry is shattered. I pushed the broken limb aside, to make room to realign the neighboring branches. I'm leaving this broken branch on the plant for now (pic #17), in an attempt to keep the other branch, on the same main stalk from dominating the plant. The remaining branch (pic #18&19) is already growing much faster and needed some serious twisting to bring it to the level of the rest of the plant. I managed to get Laverne symmetrical again, and leveled out the tops with some wire work. Shirley was also wired down to a symmetrical, level canopy, without any drama. Laverne is now 10 inches tall, and Shirley is 12 inches. It seems I named them backwards, lol. Laverne received a 2 inch booster seat under her pot to bring her canopy level with her buddy. Their canopy tops are 30 inches from the Electric Sky ES 300 V1 light. Shirley has shown herself to be a female (pic #24), while Laverne has not shown sex (no concern, as these seeds I made should be feminized). I see some tip burn, and need to dial back my nutrients a tad. I also am working on eliminating the purple on the top side of the petioles (not too worried about it as the plant is growing and appears healthy otherwise). My base nutrients contain calcium and magnesium, plus I add Cal-Mag +, so not sure why. It is funny that the purple is only on the top side of the petioles, and makes me wonder if this is caused somehow by LED lighting. If anyone knows, please share😀. I plan on another week, maybe two, of vegetative growth. The mother(s), that I made these seeds from only stretched about 12-14 inches. I'll flip to 12/12 light schedule when the stems reach the height of the top of the trellis. With the stems supported, and some luck, these girls, will be set-up for smooth flowering. Hey everybody. Day 41. I have been really busy, the garden has gotten out of hands. Tomorrow I will start flowering stage. Just need to go get the flowering nutes. Still havent gotten the hydroguard, my creditcard is locked so cant order shit now. But they still growing and not dead so I take it so that they can still be saved. Hope that they wont freak at the lights swap and scrog training. All the best, yours truely, MrPlow! Day 42. Today was a BUSY day. It was the last chance to clean the rez. I was a bit worried to put the net over them because it means there will not be a chance to clean them in any case, and there has been a battle with the algae and other root issues but if I want to grow them in scrog then now it is time. And I am a Scrog guy all the way, balls deep. And the shitty thing is that I still dont have the Hydroguard, BUT I bought every freaking root product Advanced Nutriets has ever made and added them to rez, hope that can keep them alive another 60 days. It has to work, I like the Scrog style so much im willing to take the risk of not cleaning the buckets until harvest. I think its a must when growing weed, if you are a commercial grower, it gives you the possibility to use every inch of the tent efficiently. This couple of ladies have stretched a lot, very noticeable stretch, and the structure it's just beautiful, I like both phenos a lot, I'm looking forward to see amazing buds from this couple of badazz OG cheese phenos, this is a seedsman seeds strain. I guess the main takeaway from this week is to always have runoff when feeding with nutes and 12 inches should probably be the closest the light gets to the canopy on max power 75% strength bloom boost is probably too concentrated a dose. I fed her about 5 days ago then plain water then a molasses water. Probably getting a bit more molasses tonight then plain water til harvest which could be as soon as Monday the 22nd but will probably be a bit later. Happy growing friends 😶‍🌫️

Hey guys so here we are week two into flower and the tent is filling right up now got some awesome bud sights forming and my aim of 1kg dry out of the 2 plants is on course . Root structure is amazing and I have always had good results when I get the wrapped root over top as can see in pic . Anyway til next week guys

Easy week, began with CalMag and began LST, at this point FoxFarm 1 and 2 and Recipe420 #1 have been topped, not topping Recipe420 #2 just LST. FoxFarm #2 is showing droopy leaves (it's going to get worse) the first sign of a lockout I think.

Last week update: the other crop, imported from abroad, was infested with whiteflies (and odium at the end). I didn't see anything in that tent, but as a precaution, I applied a foliar treatment (bio) against these pests. I rinsed with demineralized water five days later to clean the leaves. I'm planning another treatment this weekend, this time a fungicide (also organic), again as a precaution. Otherwise, everything is going well. I'm still struggling to maintain good nighttime humidity (my air extractor isn't look sufficient around 67%); a solution should be coming soon. I started flowering yesterday and I'm eager to see how they develop.☮️😎

Not much to say apart from the Auto Wedding Cake is budding along really nicely, by the smell I can see why this strain is called Wedding Cake. Definitely can't wait to have a smoke of this. Happy Growing guys

I am very excited that the stress is over, and continues growing healthy, today I will change it to a bigger pot and I think that this will be the best genetics

There as big as they can be for my space so I'm switching to 12/12 Ive also switched the IR on as it's supposed to speed up the flowering transition. It's a new light to me at the moment from geeklight it's 3000k 320w v4 lm301H with added 660nm switchable IR and UV. I've got it 40cm from the plants and have been using a lux meter app on my phone. (don't have par meter) I read online that 50000 max in veg and 65000 to70000 max in veg is about right but I'm just turning it up as I go. The plants are very compact compared to HPS. My light spread over 120x60cm is really good in comparison to a 440w HPS. If anyone has experience with quantum boards I'm open to advice?

Entering week 5, Day 29 for the Kush XL in the back that are 18 inches tall, SolarExtreme 250 is 15" above them. The Dragon's Breath in front are at 13" tall with the ES180 hanging 19" above them. They are on a 9am-3am schedule and are fed twice daily @ around 11 am and then again at 11 pm. Have been defoliated daily, training-mainly just gently spreading them out, and today cut a low branch off both the Kush XL in back. One thing I'm doubtful of; is considering the state of their development currently; these are not 50-60 day flowering strains as Pacific Seed Bank specs. Day 31 for the Kush XL, 24 Dragons Breath, I defoliated on day 29 both plants are in stretch at the moment, if they're like most autoflowers I've grown their growth should slow week 6? and then bud development/bulking gets underway in earnest. I've moved the lights around, the solarextreme is now in front, and es180 in the back, both are 15" above the canopy. The Kush XL in the back, older than the Dragons Breath by a week are now 26"-28" tall (36" off the floor when you account for the pot & drainage grate beneath it) Dragon's Breath are 15"-16"

Ill have to update the final results in 4 weeks. Plants are still drying and I gave it my best guess.
