Greetings my dear Jungletamers, So a major surprise came when @MarsHydroLED contacted us and asked if would like to try out their new SP 3000 light. Being a fan of Mars Hydro for years, we of course accepted their offer. We are totally in love with this light. I was when I saw it in another grower's setup and was in awe of its output and results. So with much pride and thankfulness for the presents the Universe bestowed on us, in the form of MarsHydroLEDS offer and the bountiful harvest of the last grow, (which I am thoroughly enjoying btw, such a great weed to have grown ourselves) we start out on a new adventure that we can't wait to share with you. With many lessons learned from the previous grow, a mighty producing strain in the form of Expert Seeds Gorilla Glue #4, a.k.a Expert Gorilla's and a tweaked super soil mixture, we are setting out to hopefully get over a gram per watt, preferably 1.5. The Setup A 4.5 (140 cm) x 2(70) x 6.2 (200) grow tent, giving me a .98 m2 workspace. This space is customized to my needs. A standing fan will provide airflow through the whole grow, a top fan will help guide cooler air past my lights onto the grow. 3 56 ltr pots will be the home for the plants when they are 2 weeks old, up to then in smaller jars. The Light The leading role and star of the show will be played by the Mars Hydro SP-3000, so kindly provided by MarsHydroLED, which we will test and review here and I might say, endorse. I'm very careful with who I endorse and support these days, but a company with that many wins in design, I'm talking ever since their first range came out in 2009 these guys have been raising the bar for the whole industry, I did not hesitate to support this leading brand. If you want to compete with these guys, you better bring some quality AND affordable pricing. Why do I endorse the SP-3000 without ANY hesitation? It is seriously THE BEST light on the market in this price range and size group. It has an enormously effective output in U/Mol and with 30% less energy waste comparing to older LED lights. Prove me wrong! And with a company holding a considerable market share selling thousands of units every month, competing on price and quality, one would think that customer service would suffer. Of course, also Mars Hydro is not perfect, but check the sheer amount of people that not only praise the light but also the service received, should the light somehow not perform up to par. It is this dedication to their customer base that made this company have a fanbase... Yes, a fanbase with a website and a wiki. Because of the great results, we are going to use the same recipe, adjusted some more with some new ingredients that will complete the mix and give an even more sustained super soil buffer. 20% Atami Bi-grow (very similar to ocean forest) 20% Atami worm castings 20% Atami Coco Coir 10% Hydrocorn 10% Peat powder 1 cup Fossil seaweed chalk 1 cup bonemeal 1 cup bloodmeal 1 cup Microlife 3-4 teaspoons of epsom salt 3 cups of activated biochar (activated with our own permaculture tea) I just made layers, starting with hydro corn on the bottom to aid airflow/run-off. On this I started layering the coco coir, Bi-grow, peat, castings, and amendments in a way that the more mature the plants get, the more phosphorous and less nitrogen they will find. Every time I made three layers, I would mix them by hand. This way we simulate natural soil, which consists of humic layers, composting plant waste, fungal and microbial life, and nutrients from fossilized sources. The Nutrients I will start with just adding 6.4 PH water, although this soil should buffer ph itself and regulate, after 4 weeks, I'll slowly be adding: - Biobizz Grow - Plagron Alga Grow - Biobizz CalMag - Biobizz Flower - Plagron Alga Flower - Biobizz Topmax - Melasses The Tea Some of you might remember the permaculture tea from my previous grow, I have a short video in my harvest page showing how we make it), it will star again in this grow. - (Rain)water - Comfrey (whole plants) - Dandelion leaves - Roots and leaves from the earlier grow - Minor periwinkle (Finca minor) is a plant we have in our garden, it contains an alkaloid that is associated with increased brain function but also is a light toxin for wee beasties and other unwanted guests like gnats (who hate it). - When flowering I add some wood ash to this mix Thank you for checking in on one of my grows again! We just build +1 Room, about 9Sq meter with 2000w HPS. We decide, cos we see a lot more of potence by this genetic i have to tell now, ~less is more~ ..if i talk about ammount pro sqM... As well we gonna change all small 6L pots for 11L. Where i see our reserve is, that we need to cut much more, of lower level‘s „bat‘s“ in VEG.. ⚠️ actually i know: „dont touch girl in bloom“ , but it was necesary last week.. really necessry to cut all that shit stuff on „bottom“ ... 330 girls on 16m2 in 6L & 11L pots

Week 5 and the plants love the balcony. I will be buying some things to protect from wind tunnels on my balcony as the plant gets taller. These plants i have to be quite vigilant with lst because i cant let them get to big. The stems are thick and leaves are nice and lush.

Empezamos la 7a semana con 49 dias de vida , el proyecto A ha cogido una fuerza espectacular en general, se estan haciendo unos monstruos, lo puedes comparar con las ultimas fotos y las nuevas, lucen sanisimas. Seguimos con el riego de elicitación y nutrición de terranabis , estan muy bien alimentadas. Las geneticas se ven bastante fuertes y sanas en general también , vamos a ver donde conseguimos llegar este año ya que dependemos mucho del tiempo de vegetación.

So far this week shes growing more and more white hairs and starting to really come into flowering nicely.. still a ways to go but must say I think shes gonna be a biggen!

She's also showing light green around the leafs maybe slight magnesium deficiency. 10/11/2019 - Yellow leafs showing up really fast so I 'flushed' the medium with 1l of 6.4 PH plain water, watered until some run off start to showing, change the watering plan again, now I only water when the pot feels light and dry at the bottom. 13/11/2019 - Pot was really light and dry at the bottom so I gave her 1.5l of water with 0,75ml of Grow, 1,5ml of Bloom and 0.75ml of Max BioBizz PH 6.5 until some runoff started to appear I think was too much again : also added a work-supplement led strip light. 14/11/2019 - Leaves looking pale raise the light to 45cm instead of the recommended by manufacture 25-40cm.

Boy oh boy look at these babies grow I'm studying them more and more to ensure they are happy. I've notice that gelato 41 is producing bud spots like thats what it was ment for. Tropi cherry is coming along but not as fast as G41, and runtz muffin im a little disappointed in but i believe that is my fault for im still new and have only grown 1 plant prior to these 3. It also doesnt help i had to cut the vegitation cycle by 2 weeks as well. and further more I was at least able to give 2 clones away, the rest were still good but couldn't find them homes so i had to throw them away. Next time I'll have all the room they need and can't wait to make mother plants of my favorites.

She has performed very good with the lst method, nice plant, fast growth, quality flowers, it's a very good choice for everyone who's looking for a good quality strain at affordable prices. Girls feed has been increased to max for outdoor in the ground grows. 1500 ppm 3.0 ec and their all doing fine. The Gelato K is getting huge. Going to tie string to every big branch to keep them from breaking. Very long branches and very heavy just with the leaves. No branches have snapped yet, just waiting on string coming today. Bring the branches back up frrom their bent down positions. Crowding out the branches underneath. Thanks to all the looks and likes. Thanks to Kannabia for some fine seeds.

No more nutrients just water the last week. Plane sailing till harvest now I hope.

Hey! My ladies are growing massive!! Tall and bushy! Eventually I had to change the height of the lights as I noticed some signs of hheet stress! After applying that big AC to the room, I could manage the heet but still the plants didn’t like it very much! So Im leave 1Veg/2Bloom lights on for 20h,but increase the lights for a few hours evry one a while to maximum. I also did my last defoliation and made a video for you guys . Best of luck!
