I am doing a light defoliation ✂️on my 3 Noris Cakes, I will continue in the coming weeks to reduce the humidity in the tent starting with the leaves and new shoots from below which capture less light from the lamp👌
⌚️At the end of this week I start to reduce the schedule where my lamp is on by 1 hour per day to reach 12 hours of day and 12 hours of night next week and start flowering.

I use tap water, adjust the ph to around 6 and water

06/27: the small buds dry up quickly with the current climate near my house.... So I was able to taste the famous apple fritter. And I'm glad I dont know when I grow another AF. because what I like is to taste the novelties

bouncing back from defoliation as they continue to stretch. sour 76 finish stretching at 22-24 inches (flipped at 10-12 inches) plat yetis keep stretching for another week or two

Plants are cruising through and stacking nicely.
Brewed & fed flowering tea recipe & plants responded with some smell starting to feel up my tent.
Blue Cheese definitely has some funky cheesy & earthy aroma.
Afghan kush smell is the most exciting to smell these days as its aroma is something akin to a perfume.
Can't wait to see what the rest of this week looks like.

Compost tea turned out well, let it go for 26 hours total and geared it towards fungal. Also took some soil samples several days later around the stalks and found a lot of nematodes and protozoa which is what you want to see. Lots of different types of nematodes so what your looking for are the bacterial feeders (there are charts online that show you how to identify them). Mycorrhizae can be identified by it's dark colour, uniformity and segmented nature. Testate amoebas live in a translucent shell like a snail and are easy to spot but hard to spot moving due to my shitty microscope, but look for the tentacles. Also found some eggs with movement inside, no idea what they are but they have vacuoles and flagella.
She is really getting sticky and smelly now; berries with herb notes. You can see the resin stretching over the trichomes in the last pic.
No signs of senescence yet so I'm not going to feed them, they should have plenty of food anyway as this is a second run of the same soil.

She's late compared to the other strains in the room, buds are slowly expanding. This might be related to the lack of stretch, she was not supposed to be so compact/short in my plans. Anyway, she has a lot of bud sites, let's see how this goes, hopefully these will fatten up nicely. Thanks for stopping-by! 👊

Happy Holidays! Week 4 flower and not much to report. Didn’t do anything special, just water from drip, about 1 gallon over 24hrs. Drip turns on 4x during lights on. Light seems to be hitting everywhere fairly even. 2x TSW 2000’s are at about 75%, 18-20” from canopy. I might turn them up to 100% and see how they react for the final push and then turn them down again nearing the end. I will also top dress again soon for the last time. Fungus Gnats are around but I wouldn’t say it’s an infestation, just got to put in a few more traps and I think the “Grub Grenade” is taking care of the soil. There is a 2” layer of straw mulch to help keep them off the surface comfortably. Sour Diesel genetics from Blimburn are strong, thick branching, frosty, sweet & sour smell right NOW, nice internode spacing for light penetration required less defoliation. Thanks for the view! I have been super busy and have neglected my little girls the last few days. I started the flowering stage (12/12 light schedule) yesterday, the 28th. I was going to start it on the 26th, but had trouble with the timer. I’m going to stick to my schedule though. Today starts the flowering stage feeding chart, and for this week I’m using the “Transition to Flower” amounts. The water was chilled to 41.5 degrees F, and I began feeding an entire gallon as well. I fed: CALiMAGic 5ml, FloraMicro 7.5ml, FloraGro 7.5ml, and FloraBloom 7.5ml. The initial pH was 6.7 and needed no adjustment. The TDS going in was 851 ppm. Runoff pH was 6.6, and TDS runoff was 1885 ppm. Tent temp was 75 degrees F, and humidity was 50%. I defoliated the living hell out of her today, and rearranged some of her LST points. I also cut some of the lower branches/stems to make the growth more controlled. I have enough to make several clones if I decide to do that. I’m still trying to make up my mind on that.

My Blueberry Muffin is looking fabulous!! She has adjusted to her massive defoliation with ease and is looking BEAUTIFUL! I’m very pleased with how she’s doing. Both she and her tent mate are looking wonderful. I’m still using the “Transition to Flower” stage, so here’s what I fed: 1 gallon of water chilled to 51.2 degrees F, with CALiMAGic 5ml, FloraMicro 7.5ml, FloraGro 7.5ml, and FloraBloom 7.5ml. The initial pH was 6.7 and didn’t need to be adjusted. The TDS going in was 1054 ppm. She took the whole gallon and had plenty of runoff. The runoff pH was 6.5, and TDS runoff was 2237 ppm. Tent temp was 79 degrees F, and humidity was 44%.

Day 42 Flower
Hey Growers.
It’s been a pretty easy week. Im just watering and feeding away. I’ve slowly worked the Vipar Spectra XS2000 down to 16 inches at 100%. Im moving the light back and forth every day from the right to left of the tent and the plants really seem to like it. They have a scent of over ripe lemon. A kind of sweet lemon skunky earthy aroma. The scent is uncontainable when the canopy is manipulated and they are covered in wet sticky terps and trichomes. We are essentially just on autopilot for the time being, just hoping they are able to bulk up some more in the coming weeks. I am expecting to be at this for at least another month as this is a 10 week strain according to GHS.
So far so good. I’ll keep my fingers crossed.
