Things are weird this week. Mostly the weaterh outside is very unpredictable. Morning clouds with sun here and there. THings are more humid in the tent than id like. Anyways, girls stretched super well this week EXCEPT BBC L which looks like is suffering from some nitrogen toxicity. I need to dry out the soil and flush it with plain h2o tomorrow

Bud washing is still fairly controversial. I do it because this is a personal crop, i dont have much time or space to toss a plant that might show a bit. Jorge Cervantes does it, so can I! Updates to come!

DAY 27, most of the plants are flowering, LST works so well. I'm worried because some of them seems to have advance, I don't think the buds should be that big for their age, maybe the heat stress made them flowering faster ? Moreover, some plants have their lower leaves turning yellow, I don't know what it is, give them nutrients once every 2 watering and I'm being very light with the amount of nutrients. Ordered 2 cooltubes, one for each light, it will help to cool down the room, gotta pick them up at the store and use them today. DAY 33, I followed your advices guys and added a bit of each nutrients for their deficiencies, don't know exactly if it was Ca, Mg or N deficiency but I can tell how better they are ! Water pH between 6,2 and 6,5 with 3acid down, hygro 55%. Because of the lower hygro for flowering stage, temp is going higher, I'll try my best to take care of them because another heat wave is coming... Thinking about reducing the light time to 12/12

Oct 12: super warm still so the season is still going. In previous years we’ve had a -10 C sort of hard frost by now. Anyway, Bruce here is taking advantage of the warm weather. Sunlight is weak so not producing as many trichomes as she could under stronger light, but she is still putting on weight and the buds are decently firm. Most fan leaves turned purple at which point they’re no good for photosynthesis so I figured it’s better to remove them here in the home stretch. Might harvest in a few days, or might not… Oct 13: first round of 940 g wet buds, mostly as fresh frozen, with 80 g of that hanging. Buds are less dense than the Gorilla Cookies so despite Bruce being the bigger plant, it looks like the final yields will be similar. Left biggest cola on plant to see how much further it can ripen. Oct 14: watered with 26 C water with some potassium sulphate. My TDS meter has been broken all season so was estimating. Oct 15: nice weather continues. Oct 16: +4.2 C temperature anomaly over last 30 days, and this is “extremely hot”. Yay. Oct 18: sun is so low now that I lose direct sun by late afternoon. Weather turns soon and there are just four more days to go. Bruce will be harvested this weekend.

What up fam, weekly update on these lovely ladies. I put the scrog net out this week for support and am I glad I did. Only after a couple days they grew right through it. The greenhouse is 6'5 feet tall and they're pushing 5'6. I'll go in there and take off some of the lower fan leafs at the bottom but not to much defoliation needed. I'm seeing preflowers so I'll also switch the nutes from grow to bloom. All in all Happy Growing.

Week 11, the third week of flowering, has been an absolute blast in our Tropical Tangie Ninja Run. Hold onto your hats, because we've got a tale of growth, defoliation, sticky fingers, and some sneaky chocolate donut escapades! This week was like a whirlwind of excitement. Our Tangie decided to go all out with her growth spurt – she's stretching up like a true ninja reaching for the skies. She's growing so tall that I had to channel my inner MacGyver and grab some wire for an impromptu second support LED. Teamwork makes the dream work, right? Now, here comes the twist – she grew so rapidly that I just couldn't wait until day 21 for that defoliation dance. Nope, I decided to take action at day 19! Check out the edited video included in this report – it's like witnessing a botanical makeover! And speaking of twists, you won't believe what happened next. In the scorching heat, after some serious defoliation action, I found solace in a picole ice-cream. Because hey, even ninja gardeners need a sweet break! And guess who were my accomplices? My trusty ninja buddies, of course. They know how to keep it cool. As if that wasn't adventurous enough, we applied a second layer of the scrog net. And let me tell you, by the end, my gloves were coated in that stickie, fragrant resin. Sticky fingers, sticky situation, totally worth it! Oh, and let's not forget my quirky habit of bottom watering. Why, you ask? It's like a secret ninja technique – it encourages the roots to reach down deep and fosters a stronger root system. Advantages galore, my friends! Now, onto the sweetest part – flower production. It's like the ninja grand finale. The aroma is starting to waft through the air, and those trichomes are dancing around like they've got a secret. This Tangie is cooking up something amazing, and I can't wait to savor the results! And guess how I wrapped up this adventurous week? Sharing a chocolate donut with the gang, of course! As I took a bite, I jokingly wondered if I'd end up in a rabbit hole, peeking at the world through the donut hole. Life's full of surprises, after all! Stay tuned for more ninja updates and remember, every twist, every sticky moment, and every donuts or ice-cream share makes this journey truly extraordinary. Keep cultivating with joy, passion, and a touch of ninja whimsy! As always thank you all for stopping by, for the love and for it all , this journey of mine wold just not be the same without you guys, the love and support is very much appreciated and i fell honored and blessed with you all in my life<3 <3 <3 #aptus #aptusplanttech #aptusgang #aptusfamily #aptustrueplantscience #inbalancewithnature #trueplantscience #dutchpassion #dogdoctorofficial #legoninjago #growerslove

Day 57. In this grow at certain stage i was happy that my cam is broken, but now i hate it !!! Girls are all purpling out, defoliation don't help to get colours, but even now - they are amazing ! That smell, frost, nuggy structure, i love them !!! Especially when i write it under influence of Tallest Kush ;)))) Only water, keeping tent doors open, that way temps are in low 20s and humidity ridiculously low (40 -50) for me ;))) Middle Kush caught up sister by maturity, one cola starts to foxtail a bit. Hope to get two weeks, but 9 days at least till chop... Happy Growing !!!

Week 4 of flower. 5.8-6.0 pH 450ppm 65-68 F water temp. 72 F tent temp So… the back two plants aren’t stacking like I had hoped. They may end up being popcorn queens. But they are nice and frosty so a long as they produce decent compact and frosty buds I’ll be happy. The front two are finally bursting into flower. The Mimosa X Orange Punch (front right) is looking good and it smells really unique already. I hope she stacks up some nice buds.

It's been 78 days since sprout, the plants are all still coming along nicely, getting heavier by the day even though it doesn't always seem like it. I always have difficulty realizing how much growth happens in a week. I felt like they hadn't bulked up much but then I looked back at my last update and clearly was wrong. I am trying to figure out how much time before harvest, but I am still leaning toward closer to 100 days. The plants are still being fed crop salt at the ratios posted a few weeks ago, currently I plan to do one more res change with full strength nutes and then after that two weeks of their Cake finishing nutrients (https://cropsalt.com/products/cake) which would put me a few days past 100 days with a harvest date of July 18th or 19th. This past week I also set up a Home Assistant dashboard to monitor the tent and added a camera as well. Kind of a bit late for this grow but it will be awesome for the next time around. Aside from the sensor in the tent, I have also purchased a wireless battery-powered temp and humidity sensor that will be going in the 5-gallon bucket I am going to use to cure. Here is a guide I made if anyone is interested in setting something similar up. https://gist.github.com/Jamal-J-Jackson/f47baa9e5a9f9534affa543583022abf#file-home-assistant-guide-md

We have hit day 35 and everything's looking great! Only 2 girls out of 8 have started flowering in the past day or two, the remaining six have shown sex and I'm anticipating flowering to begin sometime this week. I gave them a full feeding today. I'm using H&G Coco A+B, which is used from seed to harvest, unlike many other nutrient brands. I will start using H&G Bud-XL in the next few days, luckily I got a bottle before the shops close for Christmas. I didn't expect these autos to get so big so fast, but I'm definitely not complaining. Update day 37 - 26/12/20 I fed the girls their first dose of bud-xl today. 5/8 girls have started to flower now, hopefully, in the next few days the other 3 start up! Update: Day 40 - 29/12/20 6/8 girls are flowering now, the two that aren't are the 2 weird pheno runts.. I've submitted a grow question regarding the 2 weird girls. I'm hoping that they're simply late to flower and not a photoperiod.. I've been feeding the girls 1-2 litres each every day, with a plain PH'd water run every 7-14 days. Update day 41 - 30/12/20 All the girls have started to flower now :D I'm incredibly happy to see them so healthy at this point too I was almost going to put the 2 runts outside but I'm leaving them inside at this point. Thanks for stopping by! Merry Christmas/Happy holidays to all :)

| 📅 Week 7 | Days 43 - 49 | 💡 750w 📏36' | | ☔ 23%-34% | | 🌡️️🌞 74 - 81 | | 🌡️️🌑 66 - 74 | 12/21 I did a reservoir swap with the fresh nutrient levels as planned! Without PH testing fluid I had to adjust the tap+nutrients by memory, but i'm fairly accurate and only off the target(5.8) by .2 most of the time. 12/22 Did another reservoir swap again this time unplanned, because i'm still unable to PH until tomorrow. The things we do for dank buds lol! Adjusted some of the Low stress training a little more severe LST to prepare for a late 'SCROG' i'm putting in tomorrow. 12/23 A late 'SCROG' was applied to the plants today to make the lateral dormant buds grow vertical as best as possible. With a Late "screen of green" like this its mainly used to LST and get better airflow. If you are looking to weave tops and get an even canopy then you will want to SCROG while at the end of Veg. PH fluid arrived today so the reservoirs were adjusted to 5.8 after being topped off. 12/24 PH was really low so there is a possible 'acid rain' effect. I adjusted the PHs to 6.0 to compensate and I will reservoir swap the buckets if the PH drops this low again tomorrow. I did some adjustments to the LST using the scrog. 12/25 Reservoirs had a really low PH again so I did a Res swap on all 3 plants to avoid a possible acid rain effect. Essentially that's when C02 dissolves into your water forming CarbonicAcid before dropping 2 H+ protons and causing the PH to lower and turn acidic. I PHed the fresh reservoir to 5.8 and cleaned the tent out. I didn't do any training today. 12/26 I extended the intake duct to deliver the cold outside air directly underneath the focus plants canopy to lower temperatures and force purpling. I adjusted all 3 plants to 5.8 PH and topped of the reservoir on 2 of them. The focus plant has been growing fantastically. 12/27 All of the reservoirs needed topped off and of course they had their PHs adjusted to 5.8. I moved the plants apart a slight bit and did some adjustments to the SCROG for better training and airflow. Temperatures might be getting low at night, but unless it gets worse I will be fine and just consider this an attempt to get more purple. 😋 ______________________________________________________________________________ Week 7 is complete and in the Books. These Girls are thriving on low levels of Bloom + Calmag. It's as if these genetics have replaced all Nitrogen needs with an insatiable desire for CalMag. I really cant seem to give them enough Magnesium to satisfy them at this stage. Overall in this week I have trained the focus plant down into a SCROG and spread out her reach so the colas individually grow vertical. She took a day to recover totally, but she rebounded just fine and spent the rest of the week pumping out pistils. Around day 5 on the week the focus plant started to show just a little bit of color between her pistils so it looks like we have some nice color to look forward to in the coming weeks. APOLOGIES FOR THE LINES IN THE TIME LAPSE - They are interference lines being caused by the HPS and my current camera does not have the appropriate shutter-speed settings to eliminate this 😪 Feel free to leave comments/questions below or give me any feedback to improve my diaries. If you like this Diary follow along and check out my others as well 😎
