Well this plant and strain has changed my mind about Sativa strains #boom she smells amazing and her buds solid !!!

Black Opium this week! It's looking very nice, a good deal of progress with the flower production and bud development. Here's what I did this week. 27.8.25: I watered with 3.25L of dechlorinated water PH'd to 6.5 with; 💜 1ml Trace PH: 6.5 PPM: 321 29.8.25: I watered with 2L of dechlorinated water PH'd to 6.5 with; 💜 1ml Trace PH: 6.5 PPM: 391

6/8 Stormed last night. Rained most of the day plants look good. They have really acclimated and are taking off with bright green new growth everywhere. Potassium bicarbonate seems to be doing it's trick and the nute schedule seems ok too. I'll update later with pictures 6/9 Raining again today. Poured last night. Branches were flipped over due to hard rain and wind. Oh well maybe the super cropped themselves. Better weather is ahead. I've seen no negative effects from adding the nutes. I'll have to look back and see when I past fed. I took 4 cuttings (2 GDP, 1 9LB Kush, 1 NYCSK) but apparently I accidentally deleted WHEN I took them from this diary. Oh well. They have new growth and are attempting to root in jiffy pellets. 6/11 It stormed the past few days. Branches were limp almost like the sheet rain and high winds super cropped my plants. Once the sun came out they recovered nicely though. Fed two gallons today. Was hesitant due to the amount of rain but it's time to feed. Fimmed some blueberry tops and defoliated what needed it. 6/13 After a couple of sunny days the plants are really growing at a rapid rate. No problem with nutes. pH is in range. Growth is a nice green color. I'm surprised after the beating they took and the sparcity after some defoliation. WPM has been kept at bay for the most part. I pulled off a couple small interior leaves and spot treated around the areas that seemed to have the WPM. This method has seemed to work well. I did notice that I may have a slight mite problem on one of my GDPS. If so it's very early and it would be hard for them to keep numbers up in this harsh environment. Either way I need to continue my IPM for months anyway and was going to use BT but I may look into using spinosid. I can't remember how effective it is at treating mites. I'm not worried anyway. It's happened before with the two spotted mites but even the couldn't really build up numbers in these rough conditions. Anyhow I'll keep this updated. 6/14 Weather has been in the eighties and the plants have loved it. Hard rain and wind haven't damaged the plants yet (knock on wood). I'm planning on doing a IPM spray tonight. If I do I'll update.

The Double kush cake is doing fine with continued growth and vigour. Her canopy has split wide open with several shoots and five fingered leaves she is a vibrant green with slight burns due to the lights. She stands at approximately 42 cm

VPD @ 0.9kpa ish DLI @ 30 ~ ~~~~~ 1/21/25 i have noticed that the limetta marmalade are a litttle more sensitive to light at this stage than most of what i am rocking, but that could be because i've gave them a little light to begin , so i can't say for certain. however everything is looking good. Week 7

The harvest of my dear Stella was supposed to happen on August 4th, but didn’t begin actually until August 9th. I decided to allow her to dry out a bit before beginning the harvest, but I had some other difficulties which made her dry out a whole lot before I ever even got started. You can tell how dry by looking at the pics and video. Luckily, the dryness was limited to her larger leaves. She was already quite dry on the 9th when I started, and was more so by the 12th when I finished. Even after the advanced drying, her wet trimmed weight was still quite a bit. I’ll list the weights all together in a bit. It took 4 days to get the whole plant trimmed, weighed, and hung up for final drying. She was hung up from August 12th till Friday, August 19th. I got busy harvesting another plant while she was hanging up, and just let her be. On August 19th I took all of her branches down and removed the buds to get the true harvest weight of her buds alone. Let’s get to the weight of the whole thing. The overall wet-trimmed weight of the plant was 18.329 ounces with the buds and branches combined. I was a forgetful idiot and forgot to get the weight of the dry buds on the branches before removing the buds. So all we’re left with is the actual harvest weight of the dry buds alone. The overall dry bud weight, or actual “true” harvest weight of the smokable bud is: 7.317 ounces. That’s a wonderful amount of freshly harvested bud to cure. All of the buds were put into 8 quart sized jars filled roughly 3/4 full, and 1 pint sized jar, also 3/4 full. Each jar has a hygrometer as well as 58% bóveda packs to help aid the curing process. This is the 2nd DarkStar plant I’ve harvested, and both were very large plants. I used a scrog method the first time with a net that spread the whole plant out taking up the entire 4x4 area of the tent. This time I wanted to let her grow more naturally. She got so large that I had to bend almost all of her taller branches over using HST methods. I had to bend 3-5 branches over more than once. By doing that, once her buds began to fatten up she got too heavy and needed to be supported just to stand upright. Toward the end she had to literally be tied up to the side of the tent. Stella (DarkStar) was a wonder to grow, and she gave me a good amount of clones that will soon be harvested themselves. It has been a journey with Stella, and I’m happy that the journey is now complete. Happy growing everyone!

So the objective here is to get to harvest as quickly as possibly - Basically got a cheap humidifier and filled it with ph'd water with very little nutrient. Running this as a Fogponics once the roots starts coming out the net pot and then move to standard dwc with air pump during veg and flower. Let see if this speeds things up

This is her last day in a vegetative state! Tomorrow I will be flipping her, and hopefully I will get some nice buds at the beginning of 2026 :) I did a bit more defoliation and lollipopping — although I'm still not sure if I'm doing it correctly. If someone has any tips, please share. Nevertheless, she has many branches already, maybe not as many as expected for a 9-week photoperiod plant with two prunings; however, I managed to get all of them to the same height using LST and a ScrOG net. Given her Sativa genetics and my small 60x60x120 tent, I am flipping now to manage the inevitable vertical "stretch" during the first few weeks. I think everything is ready for the flowering stage.

***Sponsored Grow*** = Medic || https://medicgrow.com || Grow = ***Sponsored Grow*** This week has been interesting, I was getting some weird runoff numbers in terms of EC/PPM and PH, so I decided to try and bring the PH up with a flush of high PH water into the medium. I did not have any PH up on hand so I used borax, PH of 9-10 plus it will help kill off any microbes in the soil that I believe is causing the PH swings. After doing this and getting the PH I wanted in the solution I released that the amount of B in the solution was to high and would cause more issues down the road, It was late in the day so I left the next flush to fix the excess B till tomorrow morning. Morning came and when I processed to flush I added in a bit of peroxide to the water and a dash of dish soap to break the waters surface tension so it flows through the pots more easily. This was going fine till it started to not drain out at all. I think it was foaming up in the medium and preventing a normal flow, plus on two of the pots I lost my perlite that sits on the top of the medium. I had to massage the pots "like when you transplant" to make then start draining again and then purchased a Yucca extract to help it flow through. Everything is back to normal. The pots are really root bound and should be transplanted but its mid flower and that's not going to be happening. I also don't know if I'd even have the space for it. I added in a b1 vitamin as well on recommendation of grow shop as apparently their other lineup I purchased did not have any. No idea if its working well only first week in the feeding. The Cytokelp is fun, but the one hormone in it is similar to a PGR but its not a real PGR. I am skeptical of it and not using it as foliar, just root watering. I also added in a bit of CaMg supplement that gave the plants a boost in N and Ca. The mg of this product was lesser then others I have seen about a 5:1 ratio of Ca to Mg. after the big flushes the runoff was hitting 120ppm so I gave it a good feed at 1.8EC Time will tell If i fucked it up royally by doing all this, this ETS plant is still going strong and is the 2nd best plant in the tent, it very well may get 1st some harvest time as I was detecting some strong whiffs of a kushy berry smell coming off it, it was sexy as fuck! All the plants are still stretching but it seems slow to me. Maybe it will continue going but it only put on about 2cm in the last week and a half. Feels slow. I may see more stretching in the next week upcoming and it just had a ruff start. Lights still running at 100% with V1 spectrum, everything seems to be working just fine, no light burn. Day 71 - Starting week 11 and she’s coming down the end. She’s mostly milky and can’t really see but a couple clear trichs in there, plus a few amber. I’m just waiting now for her to get about 25% amber then I’ll chop. Should be ready for some water in another day or so and read somewhere to give her iced water so gonna try that and see what it does. Loving all the orange and yellow colors that are coming out in her and such a sweet strong smell. Day 72 - She’s was dried out so gave her 2 gallons of water with 5ML of MagiCal and 80ML of Sugardaddy from Technaflora to try and finish her up. She’s probably got about 10ish days left, all milky trichs now and can see she’s starting to amber up a bit more. This could possibly be her last watering but may give her one more drink before chopping. Day 73 - No updates really, just waiting for her to dry up and get the chop. Still watching the trichs and all milky with a few amber still. Day 75 - Still just waiting for her to amber up before chopping and hopefully she’ll get a bit fatter before hand. She’s already rock hard and smells amazingly sweet, should end up being a good smoke in the end. Day 76 - She’s getting a little more amber in here so this is going to be her final week. I’ll give her one more drink of plain water tomorrow and let her dry out till chop day. Day 77 - Ending week 11 and gave her her last drink of water tonight. She’s gonna a ton more amber trichs so will be chopping her some point this weekend, possibly Sunday. She’s showing some amazing colors and smell as well!

Al ser la variedad con más predominancia sativa de las tres que habian estas fueron cortadas un poco antes de tiempo y los tricomas en su mayoria eran todo cristalinos, apenas habian unos pocos lechosos o ámbar y muchos de color morado xd. No obstante una vez pasados los dias huele bién, sabe bién y buen efecto. No sabria describir el sabor pero tiende a Kush. fácil de cultivar y como pudo verse hace o puede hacer unas bonitas porras.
