The ladies weren't very thirst this week. They got 1 gallon of nutrients each on Sun., 12/29, Wed., 1/1, and Sat., 1/4. Minimal fan leaf clearing throughout the week. Since the stretch is definitely over, on Wed., I lowered the light to 25 inches from the top of the Kush. It's coming down to the final 2-3 weeks. Time to start getting excited ...I'm also trying to decide if I am going to try and dry them in my basement so I can start on my next grow sooner. Decisions decisions. hahaha Enjoy the videos. 04/13/25: The plants have now fully adjusted to their new environment, and all five are looking vibrant and happy. Leaf posture is strong, color is rich, and the canopy is filling in nicely. They’re handling the training and topping well, showing no signs of stress, and overall growth has remained consistent. While inspecting them before today’s round of training, I noticed what appear to be early signs of male pre-flowers on PP1 and PP4. It’s still too early to be certain, but it’s looking like I may already be down to three possible females. I’ll be keeping a close eye on them over the next week—things should become much more clear soon. Today I topped all five plants again—this time at the first node of each of the four main branches created from the last topping. This will help build out a broader, more evenly structured canopy. I also used plant ties to gently pull down each of the branches to open up light penetration across the plant. In addition to branch training, I used ties to lightly hold back some of the larger fan leaves on the lower two branches to help expose new growth sites. I’ll leave those fan leaves on for another 3 to 4 days as the new tops develop, then remove them to redirect energy upward and continue opening the structure. They were also watered today with a light nutrient mix, similar to last week’s. The plants still look very nutrient-rich, so there was no need to push the EC any higher just yet. Based on the current rate of uptake, I expect they’ll be ready for another watering in about 3 to 4 days. If anything noteworthy comes up—especially regarding sexing—I’ll update sooner. Otherwise, I’ll be back in a few days to document a light defoliation and any continued developments.

Oct 20 Starting Well Water 0.9EC or 450PPM (Hard Water) @ 19 Degrees Inputs : EC 2.0. PH 6.4 Temp 19-21 2 Gallons each Runoffs: EC 2.0, 2.1, 2.2 & 2.3 Goal is to Grow High Brix 12-15% better than the medical grade cannabis to help with a myeloproliferative neoplasm😧 as well as for fun😎. Any tips, working knowledge or suggestions towards this goal is greatly welcomed and would be played forward. Just read that if a plant has a BRIX of 12% or higher that some insects won't lunch on it! Loving this plant😀 Flavonoids and Cannaflavins are phytonutrients and along with carotenoids are responsible for colours. They are anti-mutagenic, anti-cancer, antioxidant, antiviral, anti-inflammatory, immuno-protective .. Maybe better than aspirin for inflammation trial is still out😉. Catechins are anti-proliferative, cardio-protective and reduce cholesterol. More medical studies need to be done on this plant😶 Some plants are showing signs of a deficiency. I believe I have locked out calcium. I watered yesterday with 2 Gal each of Dutch Nutrient Diamond which has amino acids, humic and fulvic ,kelp (has b vitamins and amino acids in it). Green Planet Terpinator for the 4% Sulphate of Potash (SOP) or potassium sulfate...I saw a Video with the awesome Dr. Harley Smith and wrote 7 pages of full scape and he mentions to use amino acids to help plants uptake calcium. These products contained them and I had them on hand...hope it helps.

i decided to give my girls their first cut. i used the so called Fuck I Missed technique in which there is the possibilty to grow up to even 8 new main stems. i'm currently stil thinking if i should do this multiple times or use topping. next week i will post the results from the cuts and hopefully they are all done correctly. the plants are getting a great smell even though it is still weak.

I noticed that the whole right side of the tent had basically collapsed, so harvest was upon us. Using hedge clippers I cut away large chunks of the plant: THis thing is huge. Put some celophane over the cut ends and taped them, had to load them into the tent for drying at a couple of different levels so that it is stacked. Will update once I have dried and cured.
