week intel: its time to harvest some of plants the ones that is mature enough. indica dominant plants will done first always so we should harvest them first because my base nutrients and one of boosters was salt based, i'll do flushing this week to get some relieve to plants in the last days stresses : flushing Drought stress via watering only one time with flushing this week feeding: day 1 : i flushed them with Advanced Nutrients Flawless finish and adjusted ph day 3 : no more feeding from now on day 5 : no more feeding from now on guide of the week : i harvest in 2 parts : first i harvest top of the branches and will let the lower buds to ripe another week then ill harvest the second wave. indica dominant plants will get done 1 or 2 weeks sooner than sativa dominant plants that will often takes more than 8 weeks so be aware to harvest them sooner. my dry and cure style is this: 3 days of hanging upside down to get water activity lower to around 0.6 in 50% humidity and 26 C temp (i know its a little high but we are in a hot summer right now and i cant get it lower even with air conditioner) and then after 3 days of drying i remove leaves and stalks, trim buds and move them to jar for the rest of their life :D . and in the first 4 days of curing i open the jar door and let hem get some fresh air in the jar for about 5 minutes and close the jar door again, after 4 days of curing like that buds are smokable but they will get better as they getting cured about 1 month. im happy as hell with this harvest :D.

another week, another update. by the end of week 6 of flower the two ladies (#1 and #2) are doing great. I noticed a little deficiency by rust spots on the leaves; did some research online and i went ahead to give this one ane extra dose of Overdrive (0-5-4) for her newly developed flowering PK hunger.

Did some defoilation, temp looks good. Gave water with cinnamon. This would be a nature remedy against those flies.

Waiting on a full plant hang dry so will wait at least two weeks maybe three hope ma vegging station holds up n can dae tge damage the now as av said guys this is definitely not the perfect set up am not on good terms with land lord so basically squatting here lol and growing and a got caught with one in this house the land lord doesn’t even know lol 😂

Don't mind the additional plants, they'll be joining along but won't be a focus in this journal. By this point, all of the plants are really upping their drinking frequency. I can tell by next week, I'll be watering every day. Seriously loving this pairing of nutrients together. A huge note to make though, is little pistils are popping up everywhere now! It'll be two weeks - max - before we are in flower! The health of all of these girls really makes the transition, that much more exciting! Got 4 really similar plants and 2 uniques to fill in the gap. My headcanon is treating all of these Ethos plants as rare items - like in a videogame 😂. Given how expensive these genetics are, it's kind of true lmao. One relevant footnote I wanted to make was that the Banana Dad Photo seems to have far thicker fan leaves than the autoflower counterparts at this stage. You can see it quite prevalently in the overview photo for the week. Tucking the autos has been very painless, and an emergency defol.(to get light where it needs to be) doesn't seem to bring any drawbacks. The photo seems to be recovering still from removing one of the main fan leaves about a week ago. Visually, she seems a bit behind the Banana Dad auto I refer to as BR, just with larger fan leaves. Either way, I'm sure they'll stretch a decent amount within the next two weeks. I also raised the light up a bit more, to hopefully encourage just a bit more vertical growth during the trans. stretch. Day 44 from seed update: All of the girls look great! As a matter of fact, there are actual buds now! And it may be hard to see, but there's a slight blue-ish hue appearing on the older fan leaves - A similar thing happened to my Early Lemon Berry just before she went completely purple/magenta. I'm also welcomed to a sweet grape scent now every time I open the tent, really pleasant. Things are going quite smooth during transition, within the next two weeks, I'll be removing XSD from the schedule(recommended according to Labmor). This week I started flushing the ice cream cake. I'm looking to flush it for a total of five to six days. The purple punch still looks like it has another week or maybe even two. I'm quite sure my temps are too high for this strain.

Week 17 Last week before harvest. Just let the plants ending the maturation process. Good synchronization between the different strains, selected with an approximate identical flowering period. I want harvesting all the plants at the same time. Flowers are dense, hard and thick, pretty resinous. 4 strains = 4 different smells, 4 different colors….🤩 I flushed consciously and stopped watering 4 days before the harvest day. I turned off the light during 48h, with ventilation on. All is ready for the cut. Date is programmed to the full moon period….why not…🤔 I will trim a little bit the plants before cutting and hanging them in the tent with the same ventilation cycle, no light of course…

The end is in sight! This round with 8 plants in 4 pots (=2 GIRLS IN A CUP) of BANANA KRUMBLE (=Banana Punch x OG-Kush) from GREENHOUSE SEEDS is now in week 15 since germination. They are now flowering since 9 weeks and are starting to fade, that means they start to get ripe. All big fan-leaves are now red or yellow colored and start to wilt away. This is a sign the plant will be ready to harvest soon. In the pics and the VIDEO you can clearly see the purple/reddish coloration of the top-buds and the THICK LAYER of TRICHOMES they have. It is AMAZING to see and I cant wait to try this strain after its harvested and dried. All main- and sidebranches have developed into HUGE COLAS and the bud-structure is very compact...in one word: DANK! The aroma of the BANANA KRUMBLE is sweet and fruity (reminds me of ripe bananas with a hint of cinnamon!) and overwhelmingly STRONG! Every time I open the tent a THICK CLOUD of SWEEY SMELL greets me, its ASTOUNDING! My 3 SANlight LED-lamps still hang at 40 cm distance from the top of the plants. The two Q4W-Gen.2 fixtures on the outside are running at 100% (=3 green lights on dimmer ON) and the Q3WL-Gen.2 in the center is dimmed to 80% (=two green lights on dimmer ON). The HUGE size and compact bud structure shows that the plants LOVE the SPECTRUM and the INTENSITY of the SANlight LEDs. Since I use BIOTABS-nutrients I do NOT NEED TO FLUSH the plants! They only got tab-water all the time, therefore it makes no sense to give them more water of it now. All the nutrients in the soil and the plants should be used up by now (that why the plants start to wilt!) and that ensures a smooth smoke later. When you smoke unflushed weed any nutrients left in the plant matter (especially phosphorus (=P)) will create a harsh feeling in your throat and make you cough, therefore its normally of the UTMOST importance to flush your weed before harvesting. Now its only one more week and harvest time is here...yipppiiie

2-24, Day 59 harvest Plants were all cut down together. Hung to allow tent conversion to drying setup and reloaded into the tent. Some nicer images were taken with the R100 cannon camera, and also a mix of images from my iPhone and my buddy's Note7. Current drying environment: 62F, 62% humidity. 2-26, Day 2 drying The tent is very stable around 60% humidity and 60F. I have the tent set up for negative pressure to pull a slight vacuum, ensuring the air will turnover inside the tent, with one oscillating fan helping to distribute the humidifier mist. I have an external air purifier running with active carbon filters to manage the smell.
