Day 84 - just fed with water today Day 85 - checked trichomes today. They looked mostly clear with about 2% amber so another week - 2 for SP and WC Day 86 - just full water and foliar today Day 87 - power block on one of my lights shorted. Apparently it’s an easy fix but the 6 plants will go another week or two with just the one light. Day 88 - placed both Strawberry Pie and Wedding Cheesecake into 48hours of darkness before chopping on Saturday. 90 days is an amazing time from seed to harvest Day 89 - lemon pie starting to fill out more but looks like it will need at least a week - 2 weeks still Day 90 - harvested SP and WC and hung in cupboard with fan for ventilation

Dear friends, cultivating this strain has been quite an adventure, and also an incredibly enjoyable growing experience! Having desired to grow this strain for some time, I finally had the opportunity to explore its potential and see what I could achieve with it. I'll upload everything on that beauty when I'll have the time. Instead of a 60 days I've seen her develop a new top apex (on the left) that I was waiting to mature a bit before cutting. Now that I've been looking at everything she produced I'm absolutely stunned. From top to bottom, the purple color is stunning, even at the base she managed to grow a new set of purple leaf this week. She's been foxtailing like crazy, most of them are 1cm She got plain water for a week now, but seems to refuse to even start to take out her leaves. This genetic is insane.

Day 33-13/01/22 they look really well I’m just trying to make space in my other tent so I can move half of them out and be more organised but I think this is the last week of veg!!!

Day 43. All is good, heavy training session, trimmed sometimes almost half of the plant. It will be 16 girls with different needs and heights, watering, cycle time ... Huge pain, but as it is my LAST of ALL LAST grow, so I just want to get few ounces max from each and do it fast ! Girls last week spent on BioHeaven, Silica and CalMag spray, so leaf colour went a lot better, maybe at the end of week I will feed them heavily. Today and next watering - just 6.3 water. I took last NL away and now humidity and lightning are a lot better. Will drop lights down in few days, but not a lot ... 16 girls again in one room ;)))) I changed names of diaries, because I will try to finish them indoors ... @MarsHydro @Susie420 @eleen , the first light that you gave me is moving to other city and I won't document results under her from now on. She served well for my friend, did magic at mines and I honestly would recommend her to any single plant grower ! Great stuff, it was privilege to test her for almost two years. Now she will serve for one more new grower ! Not the best retirement photo , but still ;)))) Happy Growing !!!

Day 3 week 3 looking amazing

Durch mein ADHS sind die Beiträge leider etwas knapp geraten. Aber ich habe es geschafft mit der Medizin eine neue Arbeit zu finden.

Freaked out this week cause I couldn't smell the plants anymore. Turns out I caught covid, yay! Not much content because I was resting up mostly. Getting plants ready for chop, many seed packs say you can chop by week 8 of flower - that's actually the earliest one can harvest. If given the time like a home grow, one can wait 1-2 weeks longer to harvest. Also in the cases of sativas like mine, they can flower for up to 12-16 weeks.

Week 9 of flowering, Day 92 = the smell is incredible a. the buds are smelling very sweet, and still growing very large b. we are in the home stretch c. the trichomes are very milky d. the DWC is half full of 1620ppm nutrients at 6.5PH, I am cutting it in half with Mineral Water to finish the maturing process e. stigmas are changing color very rapidly, and the smell is incredibly strong Day 93 - WOW! The smell is becoming very intense a. we do not have a carbon filter on this box as it is out in our barn, but holy cow when we walk about 5 meters from the barn we can smell it strong b. added 4L of mineral water to the DWC to cut the Ripen down c. the buds are maturing fast! this will be harvested around day 100/101/102 d. for this week we are moving light to 11/13 Day 94 - resin explosions everywhere a. the light switch always makes more resin appear, and causes white stigmas to turn pink/orange b. she has slowed down her drinking a bit c. tomorrow the DWC will be pumped out, and 10L of water with FloraKleen will be added for 2 days Day 95 - trichomes look wonderful! a. 100x microscope shows really nice trichome development, majority milky white, with some amber, a few clear which should go white/amber in the next few days, and while drying. b. installed FloraKleen at 3ml/L with 10L of mineral water, will keep FloraKleen in for 2 days, then remove c. the pistils are all turning red/orange and brown Day 96 - growing well a. the buds continue to fully mature, the pistils are changing rapidly, and there are very few clear trichomes anywhere I look b. she is drinking less and less, her life is coming to an end I see, i constantly remove dead curled up leaves from her Day 97 - maturing, and smelling awesome a. i uploaded a video of the buds b. the trichomes are all milky white, and a probably 5-10% amber, they are SO greasy! Just like Girl Scout Cookies! c. installed a dehumidifier into the tent, it works well Day 98 - she is in the harvest window a. what a great plant to grow, 95% pistils are orange/red/brown and trichomes are 90% milky, 5% amber and a few clears here and there b. I am removing some leaves today to open her up a bit c. I think we will go another week, I will be in Geneva, so hopefully she will eat her leaves!

Week 11, & the End of 4 weeks of flowering (30 Days of 12/12) Welcome back to our regular scheduled programming.... Like I mentioned we are officially 30 days into our 12/12 lighting cycle. Now taking into consideration that this is one of the first runs of this particular strain the flower period is partially undetermined, I will be guessing based on Lineage of the parents, & following her closely towards the end to ensure my desired trichome ripeness. Katsu's HotCake's run's Approximately 8-9 Weeks & The Grape Ape run's slightly quicker at 7-8 Weeks You can certainly tell the difference between all 5 plants, I'm very glad I took cuts of everything ! as plants 2 & 3 are certainly the keepers of the bunch.. plant 2 showing some very cool fall colours already (emerson effect hitting strong asf) She is already starting to purple up & smells Very Sweet. My guess is this pheno leans more to the Grape Ape side. As far as plant 3 is concerned I can smell heavy Kush aromas emulating off her already, & based on her flowering structure I believe this pheno leans more Katsu Bubba. but we'll have to wait and see. A Minor amount of leaf plucking this week should be noted.. It will probably be the last time I mess with them, its time to start swelling up. It is my opinion that most of the stretch has been completed & i'm now looking at the final colas minus the couple weeks of filling out of course. As this is the end of four weeks of flower(12/12) Their food will be increased during the next feeding, thus far i've been impressed with the ease of this strain.. I wasn't sure what to expect to be honest but I will say this I was weary of over-feeding but all of them seem to enjoy heavy feedings. I use these fertilizers not for the first time, the whole grove was successful, without any problems. the tree did not hurt, and there was no shortage of fertilizers. organic fertilizers are very good for the earth

Final stage of vegetation. Few more weeks left before flowering starts. Cant wait to have that Hazelicous smell around. Anyone ever had dream machine?its one of her parents and I have never smoked it and im very curious about the taste especially!

Last week I finally did some lollipopping and defoliation. I had too cause humidity went through the roof and foliage was dense and wet in the mornings. Also fed with the amendment. 5 liters of worm castings, with bone meal, some microlife. Some bud growth started but also trichomes are forming and a strong weed smell is developing in the tent. The growth is far behind compared to the other two though. Not as many buds and the plant is overall more flimsy and has hollow stalks. The very slender leaf growth leaves me to believe that next to being the runt all the grow, the gorilla doesn't seem to enjoy the high feed environment. It also really doesn't respond well to scrogging, it keeps reaching for the light, It remains the odd one out in the tent. The buds are few and far between, I'm not very hopeful this one will produce the grams needed to keep my grams per watt score high. The other two might well compensate for it, we shall see.
