After a 6-week cure, it smells really spicy with creamy undertones. The buds are extremely dense and sticky. When vaped, the smoke is smooth but doesn’t have much flavor. It’s an energetic high — not the optimal strain for an insomniac like me who likes to smoke before bed, but I already knew that. Overall, if you enjoy sharp, spicy, and slightly gassy terps, I’d highly recommend this strain. My DIY lamp has 6-watt UVA leds. Maybe if I hadn’t run it at full blast the whole time, the aroma would’ve leaned more toward sweet and less toward spicy/caryophyllene-heavy. 84gramms dry for 86watt! pretty happy with that.

6th week of flowing: Not a lot to add the ladies are growing well buds are getting bigger by the week and nicely covered in trichomes. Barely touching/moving a plants spreads a lovely aroma to the air.

Day 36 Moby Dick it's at 28inches in height and Blue amnesia is at 32. and because the smell has become too strong to contain in the tent I turn on the carbon filter fan 24/7 instead of intervals of every 2 hours on for 30 minutes so now my tent it's not so hot and my plans drink less water every 3-days. I will keep updating . day 38 the plants are stretching very fast I'm forced to raise the light everyday the blue amnesia is 39 in tall and the Moby Dick it at 32 inches tall I resumed regular feeding schedules on the plants and they seem to be growing even faster after each watering. I only have noticed some lower fan leaves turning yellow and drying up I'm going to stop nutrients for the next one to watering sections because I think I've been pushing the plant too hard but it could be normal I just don't know. Day 44 definitely the issue is my fault pushing it too hard. They have nitrogen toxicity they have all the symptoms the claw leaf the weakness of the leave the yellowing and purple color of some branches the Deep shiny green on the leaf. the fact that I've been pushing that pretty hard I already have water them twice with clean water ph 6.0 hoping to use up all the extra in the pot and I will do it one more time from two days from now and then trying new nutrients at 1/3 full strength. .they seem to be responding well but if they start losing to many leafs i well flosh them in the shawer. Day 46 because I saw my plans going downhill pretty quick I decide to test Runner run-off it was incredibly High / 4000 + PPM so yeah to the showers they went until runoff was 1000 or below PH was at 6.2 and for the next watering in 3 days from now approximately depending on temperature and thirst of the plans I will resume flowering nutrients only and maybe only at 600 PPM the plant took a beating as well since I have to remove the scrog net and they were being support only buy it but I had no choice it was to see then die and then start over again or giving a flush so they can recuperate and take it slow for a few days until they can handle more nutrients. My hands end up being very sticky handling the buds even though I did it as gently as humanly possible so they were packed with sticki Racine even though they were stressed out what incredibly robust genetics. Day 48 the plants seems to be bouncing back they lost a lot of fan leaf at the bottom and some of the ones that were turning yellow at the top develop marks . One off the blue amnesia was more affected than the other three plants I will probably hold nutrients for it only for this plant. They stop stretching as much the blue amnesia are measures 44 inches and the Moby Dick is at 40 inch after the flush the buds are getting fatter and bigger every day . thank you for reading and have a happy growing

2018-04-02. Week 3 day 1. It was time too upgrade the 0.1 liter pot too the 1 liter. Did the transplant today. They are a little bit overwatered but i will let them dry out now. This is the newest release from RQS seeds. And i will veg her under a Apollo 10 led and flower her in Growroom Nr2 under a 600 w Hps on a light mover. Its a organic grow and i will be using BioBizz nutrients. Strain information. Purple Queen is an indica dominant kush hybrid that based on the crossing between Hindu Kush and Purple Afghani. I have been growing medically for the past couple years, documenting some of my grows on my Facebook and Instagram (@OnlyTomatoes) pages, as well as several cannabis cultivation subreddits. I've found that I do a lot of things differently than other growers, so I'd like to share a full cycle publicly in case I have the answers to somebody's questions. [ Updates ] Day 4 - Lights have been lowered to 18 inches off canopy, dimmed to 25%. They've recovered from both their transplant and their topping, new growth looks almost perfect. I'm going to keep the accidental sunflowers for a few more days and see if there's any significant difference between plants. They all received a foliar spray of neem, kelp, and a bit of calmag before lights off yesterday. I expect to be able to remove the remaining damaged leaves by the end of this week. Day 7 - Lights increased to 30%, C02 increased to 800ppm, getting ready for week 2 of veg. Fed today, fairly low EC (<1.5) blend of Silica, Calcium, Kelp, Molasses, and Tribus Grow in a mixture of R/O and tap water. Very little runoff at 1gal per pot. Will most likely foliar again before lights off with a light fish hydrolysate mixture to help with any nitrogen issues. Any dead or dying leaves you see are from pre-transplant, I'm just waiting a few days longer for the existing rootballs' ph levels to swing back to a healthy range before removing all that unsightly growth. I'm really not sure when I'm going to remove the sunflowers growing in some of the pots, I've seen no negative effects yet. I could flip group 1 into flower if I wanted, the canopy is level and beautiful, however group 2 will take a while longer to fill a canopy. Normally I would never allow pre-veg plants to have such obvious deficiencies, but constant hand watering led to some poor nutrient decisions on my part. They've been in their final pots for a few days now and were topped on day 0 of veg. I plan on lowering the lights to 18"-24" within canopy around day 3, I'm just allowing some extra time for the roots to really dig in. I've found that a batch of dirt that was used had sunflower seeds in it, possibly winter food storage from an outside rodent, so I'm debating how long I will let these sunflower seedlings grow alongside my plants. They do make a good cover crop with amazing root systems, I just don't think that really applies in pots of this size where plants can choke each other out.

Forced harvest @ day 53, nanners explotion! She s not full ready yet but I don't want seeds in my buds! I ll update after drying, I expect 50 grams final (final outcome 37g). So, I learned it s not a good idea growing bag seeds, but at the end the outcome is good enough if I thinking about the troubles I had! @ the end I discovered that growing Mary it s sooo easy, more than my flowers in balcony ahahahah, and it s absolutely possible with micro space/budget. My enviroment is a grow box 40x40x120cm with 2 China led cob lights very cheap! You can do this only learning from guides on the web and discovering other diaries in this beautiful site! Day 66 : Her buds are full of crystals and are so dense. The smell is really strong stinky skunk like GZ , but GZ smell is more acidic. Her crystals are milky and soon will start to amber. Breeder refers that will be pretty mature in 70 days. Not in my case :D we will see in 4 days, in next watering. For now no ambers. I prefer to cut when we have 15%-20% amber and 80%-85% milky, because after the smoke is very heavy for my taste. Edit Day 70 : She watered with juices and i continue until i see first signs of amber trichomes. Still no ambers. She has gained so much weight , side branches cant lift their self. I think she will be the heavier. You can understand her weight if u lift it.

10/6/2024 Starting to reduce PPM in the reservoir with just pH-adjusted water. Buds are putting on some weight now! Lights are turned up to 95% and raised the one directly over the plant to another inch or so. Recorded daytime air temperature in the tent is around 83F, leaf temperature is 78F. Keeping humidity around 50-55% in the tent. Lung room is set to 45% humidity. 10/8/2024 Noticed some potential light bleaching from the lights likely being too close at too high of an intensity. Backed them down to 90% and will likely remain there for the rest of the week. Some minor nutrient issues showing up with black tips and mild rust spotting on larger fan leaves, maybe early fade, but likely a slight deficiency with a slight p/k excess. Pumped off 2 gallons of reservoir to replace with fresh nutrient solution. 10/9/2024 Plants are showing signs of fade already as mentioned yesterday. Daytime air temps are rising in the tent due to outdoor temps falling and indoor AC not running consistently. I am ok with daytime temps rising to about 82-84F as long as the bud/leaf temperatures stay closer to 80F. Running humidity as low as I am (40-50%) is increasing the VPD (up to 1.8-2.0) on the plants considerably during the daytime. I am glad I left as much plant material as I did as it is helping considerably during these high VPD windows. The smell is amazingly strong with notes of fruit, pine, and a few notes of diesel coming through. Super pungent!

Las flores han madurado bien, una flor central sospechó que igual tiene moho pero todo correcto, si está contaminado tiraremos la parte mala y si no lo está mejor. Llevan una tricomada seria, esta variedad tiene que ser brutal para extracciones. Estás próximas semanas que coche che y la seque ya os iré contando.
