Pistils are out, floral sites are forming, and the stretch is starting with elegance. It’s possible they slipped into pre-flower during late veg without me catching it, they were so stable, compact, and lush that I might have missed the subtle signals. Either way, they’ve entered bloom with full confidence. Both phenos are incredibly similar in structure and size, making them a joy to manage. They’re compact yet big, stacking nodes tightly while still filling space. The leaf color is deep and uniform, the formation is textbook Haze, and the inner node spacing is perfectly balanced for light penetration. ⸻ 💧 Feed & Water Adjustments We’ve tweaked the recipe this week, retiring Aptus Start Booster and introducing Aptus Top Booster at 0.25 ml/L. Current Feed (per L): • Aptus Regulator – 0.15 ml • Aptus CalMag Boost – 0.25 ml • Aptus Top Booster – 0.25 ml The soil is already enriched with slow-release Aptus pellets, which explains why EC in solution is lower (0.6) while the medium’s own EC is holding steady at ~2.0. They’re drinking well, 1.5–2 L per day — with irrigation happening around 25% dryness in the pots. ⸻ 🌡️ Environmental Conditions & Upcoming Changes The room is running hotter than ideal at 31°C daytime, 25°C night. RH is stable at 50%. CO₂ sits comfortably at ~700 ppm. A dedicated AC unit is on its way and should be installed next week, which will help dial temperatures closer to the sweet spot for flowering. Soil temperature is at 25°C, supporting strong root activity, while PPFD at the canopy sits between 760–780 µmol/m²/s depending on plant position. We monitor these numbers carefully to keep photosynthesis at optimal efficiency without stressing the plants. ⸻ ⚙️ Why We Measure Everything • PPFD: Ensures plants receive the right light intensity for maximum photosynthetic activity during each stage. I'm very happy to say that I had 100% germination rate across the board👏 All my ladies started to come up on April 24th, including an extra! In the few years that I've been growing, I've probably started around 50+ seedlings, but having 2 seedlings come out of 1 seed is new for me. I'm curious to know if anyone else has come across this. Regardless, it's pretty cool and I'm happy. My only concern is how viable the 2nd seedling will be. I feel like I need to wait until she's stronger before I try extricating her from her twin, since she's a few days behind in this very sensitive stage. But at the same time I don't want to wait too long because their root systems will only become more intertwined. We'll just have to see. Once these babies began getting upright on April 25 I put them under 3 Litever 24v grow light strips. On April 27th they were hitting the roof of the humidity dome so I took them off the heat mat and put them in a south facing window for the morning and put them under the lights in the afternoon. The next day on 4/28 it was absolutely gorgeous out, 60F clear and sunny so I put them in the south flower bed in front of my house and they drank in the sun. The 29th was overcast and chilly so they stayed in the house under the lights. Same thing today. No nutes this week, as the potting soil still has a little more to give, but they'll be getting some Nitrogen soon. See y'all next week👋

This week went really great! Plants are looking super healthy today at day 22 from seed!! Today they got a dose of just pure water phd at 6.5 ! Temperature an humidity has been staying pretty stable everyday, staying around 70-75 degrees and 58-61 % humidity!! Can’t wait to see what these girls do this week ! Harvest: Everything dried up to 347 grams + 96 grams of super high quality trim. Overall I am not too pleased with the smoke of the product. Although the bud size, bag appeal, smell and taste are pretty much all there, the shitty burn is a deal breaker for me and the majority of this weed is quite frankly useless. Another downside is while smoking I’ve found 4 seeds in an ounce from almost every strain. Light leaks? At least I learned a ton, including how to get super good burn for my next crop. I’m hoping that curing for a month or so will improve the burn but I wouldn’t really count on it. I have seen weed dried for 4 days with no cure and no flush smoke clean and not go out once. I have been told that the key to white ashes/clean burn is proper mineral content in the soil and there is tons of scientific studies on cigar ash going back 100 years. Plants grown in a medium with high levels of decomposing organic matter, phosphorus, magnesium, chlorine and heavy metal ratio tend to produce black/grey ash. Whereas plants grown in a medium with a higher ratio of trace minerals like calcium carbonate and potassium in the form of wood ash, rock dusts, oyster shell flour and lower levels of decomposing organic matter will produce a dense, uniform white ash that rarely goes out. But this is still all theory until I test it to confirm for myself a few times. My last few outdoor harvests did not improve with curing at all so I’m hoping this will be the missing link. Plain peat moss and coco clearly lack essential minerals that help burn. If said theory is correct I should find a synthetic nutrient line with more trace minerals. Makes me wonder if growing if rockwool/basalt rock could improve burn in a hydro setup. I think I did a fairly decent job for my first grow. I went wrong in a million different places but I still stuck it out and got some decent herb. Things went wrong early when I got black spot mold, nitrogen/magnesium deficiencies and powdery mildew. I corrected most of it but things didn’t get really bad until mid veg when I intentionally skipped a few feedings and defoliated quite heavily stunting the plants. I also didn’t even top or start LST until the 6-9th node which was really stupid and hurt my yield. My temperatures were all over the place from the learning curve. I was severely overwatering without realizing it. 100% peat moss is a shitty medium. I also fed way too late in flower (not what caused shitty burn). I also used synthetic nutrients in soil. Unfortunately, once again (last grow too) I had some bud rot in the last week before harvest in both plants with the biggest one largely affected. Because of that, I had to remove all infected parts and have an early harvest. I picked out all fucked buds, gave my plants another two days of (finally!) sunshine to dry out the cut-outs I did on the plants. Today I harvested the smaller one and was surprised it actually was quite alright in terms of yield. Tomorrow, I'll cut the big one and I hope there will still be some good bud structures left as this one grew so nice, especially for being a dwarf :-D Will update as soon as I've got more news! UPDATE: I cut the big one as well and am very pleased with the yield I have from this grow. Was not an easy grow since the weather was shit and I've had to throw away some decent buds because of bud rot, but all in all it looks promising :-) DRY WEIGHT: 48g of fresh buds (had to throw away at least what could have been 10-15 grams because of bud rot)

Unfortunate Week... Honey cream had a couple of "budrot" spots forming due to droplets of water dripping into the flower and not drying (99%humidity nights)... Thankfully those buds were cut down and she doesn't seem to be producing any more "budrot".. Apart from that, the smell is amazing on her. Power Flower is going nicely too, but seems to not have too much smell...

End of the 3rd week of transition and plants are still lazy as hell getting to flower. There’s minor pistoling but no cotton balls at all. They’re slow all around. We ended up culling down to a 50/50 split of males and females and now it’s just a question of whether or not the females actually flower. We’ll see I guess… still wait’n….

This is my first round with my BRAND NEW LED-Lights from SANlight in Austria. I got myself TWO EVO4-120 fixtures for my HOMEBOX Ambient Q120 growtent, which has an area of 120 x 120 cm. The new EVO4-120 looks AMAZING, reminds me a little bit of a spaceship. I also got myself two magnetic dimmers for the LED-fixtures, so I can control the amount of light my plants get. Then I went into my 'treasure-chest', where I keep my genetic gems I collected over the years and selected the strains I want to grow this cycle. My good friends from CNNBS.nl recommended their SNEEZE (=Amnesia x White Widow) to me, which is produced by seedstockers.nl. Since the parents are two classic strains with copious amounts of trichomes, I am curious how 'white' this variety will come out. My FAVORITE STRAIN OF ALL TIMES is THE PURPS from BC-BUD-DEPOT. It is a purple variety, which has the aroma and taste of grape jolly-ranchers and is simply DELICIOUS! I won the third place in the Sativa category of the HIGH TIMES CANNABIS CUP 2009 in Amsterdam with it and have grown this strain A LOT...therefore i know it well and it is ideal to see how well the NEW SANlight LEDs work. SERIOUS SEEDS has a NEW PROMO STRAIN, which is called WHITE DELIGHT (=Mimosa x OG-Kush) and which I am very curious about, therefore i will try two of those seeds next to their classic SERIOUS HAPPINESS (= AK-47 x Warlock). The Happiness is an easy to grow strain, which ALWAYS delivers GREAT results, therefore I had to have it in my tent. My treasure chest revealed some CHEESE seeds from BIG BUDDHA SEEDS, which are the ORIGINAL seeds from the HIGH TIMES CANNABIS CUP 2006, at which the Cheese won the Indica category and started its now famous legacy! Milo, the breeder from Big Buddha Seeds, gifted those seeds to me directly at the fair of the Cannabis Cup that year and I cant wait to smoke some ORIGINAL CHEESE again. The BADAZZ-CHEESE (=CHEESE x BADAZZ-KUSH) is a collaboration of Ripper Seeds and Big Buddha and entails the BADAZZ-KUSH from Ripper crossed with the CHEESE from Big Buddha. This variety grows hard compact buds with an insane amount of trichomes, I cant wait to see her in flowering. The STRAWBERRY SOUR-DIESEL from DEVILHARVESTORIGINAL SEEDS (NOT TO BE MISTAKEN FOR Devils Harvest Seeds, because its a split-off!) and the BIG CANDY from Mr. Hide Seeds have been recommended to me by a good friend, therefore I will give them a try as well. All seeds are germinated in the 'Serious' Way' promoted by Serious Seeds. It is basically the wet paper-towel method, but instead of leaving the seeds laying on a plate, they are hung inside a plastic baggie, so the roots can grow out STRAIGHT of the seed. I use this methods since years and always have GREAT success with it, therefore I put a little video tutorial together of the germinating method, I hope it can help others.
