My plant is growing pretty well. She has developed many new nodes, since I used fertilizer last wednesday. I want to top her next wednesday or so, becuase of my limited tent-height. I also put the light from 14 DLI to 20 DLI. I want to increase the intensity every day a bit more to let her slowly adapt. Edit: I rotated her so that she can absorb light evenly and therefore grow evenly. Update 08.04.24: Some roots have reached the surface, so I decided to cover them with some new soil. I also decided to top her today and bend some of her leafes down. Update 09.04.24: I actually didn't want to start LST until next week. The topping is actually intended to strengthen the growth of the secondary branches, but a few of these branches received little light. That's why I decided to start with LST now and continue to enable the growth of the secondary branches.

Lookin good so far still feeding them almost every watering. Lotus nutrients at about 75% concentration.

Oh it was a special week. Day 21 of flower marks the Silver Back Guerilla defoliation day!!!! I left one be. For him. To prove me wrong. BUT!!! That one had some dead leaves at the bottom that needed removal, not the defoliated plants!! Time will tell as to if what Im doing is right. I stick to my guns that this works for my room. Even though I read differently, removal of foliage has lowered my rh. Could very well be outside environment, however. By day 21F the room was a bush again. In my opinion, it needed the heavy defo to breathe. As for light penetration, I am extremely happy with the amount of heads receiving direct light. Im a pig in shit Thanks for looking, I dont want to hear your opinion on defo or schawazze, unless youre SBG

Well, I've confirmed through sources that we officially entered the flowering stage as of last week. Time for some adjustments. Just prior to confirming flowering, I did one last trim, removing the larger fan leaves at the top to allow more light to the bottom. Good thing I did this now, as any later I've been told will shock them too much. With confirmed flowering, I switched over from both blue and red lights to just red. I also lowered the lights closer to about 9 inches after being assured that they won't burn the leaves any. With the transition, I gave the plants one last watering with the N-P-P mixture.

WEEK 11 - (05/09/2021 - 05/15/2021) Week 3, Day 17 - FLOWER: 05/11/2021 Doing 2 gallons of water per 5 gallon pot this watering due to lack of runoff in weeks prior. I’m thinking I could be letting the pots dry out a little too long in between so the 1.5 gallons hasn’t been enough for each watering. When I stick my finger into the medium 2 or 3 days after watering it still seems like the soil has plenty of moisture so I wait another day or two. I know fabric pots are supposed to dry out usually in 2-3 days, but the soil still seems too moist, and I don’t want to overwater. It seems like ever since transplanting into 5 gallons and switching them to a 12/12 light cycle, watering got more complicated. Maybe I am overthinking the whole process. I just don’t want to risk ruining my crop, you know? Tap water: 223ppm, 8.6 pH, 70℉ (9 gallons total) + HydroGuard: 9ml/9 gallons + pH Down: 30ml/9 gallons Mixture: 267ppm, 6.0 pH, 70.4℉ ppm/ppm = runoff/soil JB#1 - 1330ppm/1063ppm, 6.3 pH AP#1 - 1310ppm/1043ppm, 6.3 pH AP#2 - 1160ppm/893ppm, 6.7 pH GC#1 - 1350ppm/1083ppm, 6.3 pH -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Week 3, Day 20 - FLOWER: 05/14/2021 Watered a day earlier than I usually do, with .5 gallons less water per plant. So each plant got a total of 1 gallon of water for their 5 gallon pots. This is really just to take the question out of the back of my mind: Am I letting the pots dry out too much going four days until the next watering? I will check on the plants shortly after they wake up tomorrow to observe their reaction to the watering. None of the plants produced really any runoff, which was boggling to me, because when I water there is usually anywhere between 10-20%, and that’s after watering on the fourth day. Needless to say, I was unable to take readings this time. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Week 3, Day 21 - FLOWER: 05/15/2021 5:30 p.m. - Decided to check on the plants since I watered a day earlier (yesterday) than I have been since transplanting into the 5 gallon fabric pots. This was kind of an experiment to see how the plants would react to watering on the third day rather than the fourth, because I keep doubting myself. Anyway, when I checked in on the plants, a few leaves looked ever so slightly droopy. Not terrible. It appears that some of the leaves had begun to swell up a little as well. Not 100% sure if these are actually early signs of being overwatered this time, or if it’s something I have simply overlooked until now. Just to be sure, I’m going to water once more on the third day to see how the plants respond. The plants seem to be doing well this week. I've finally installed another ScroG net on the second level to help maintain the canopy. Since I cut the first layer of net the plants quickly started to get out of control and began to grow unevenly across the canopy. The trichomes are starting to appear on all of the plants, with the exception of the American Pie #1. This pheno is a little behind. I'm wondering if it has anything to do with how differently this plant was trained compared to her sisters (The manifold/mainline technique was applied). Possibly could have even defoliated her a little too heavy and she's taking a few extra days to bounce back. She's still producing early buds though, which is good. 👌 That just about wraps up this week. Things just keep getting more and more exciting with each journal entry. All the girls should have about 5-7 weeks left in flower before they are ripe for harvest. Hoping to have another tent and light setup by the end of flower so I can get some more seeds started. I'm still waiting for the buds to dry so i cant put the numbers :D great experience. Next time i will pay way more attention to the last part of the grow....unfortunately i've been so busy and i coudn't take care of them as i wish. I am absolutely Happy with the results...I'm conscious I've made some mistake and neglect them for a while...but I'm still happy with my first grow...I've got a lot to learn and it's just the beginning. So here we go in week 7 of 12/12. I'm currently having issues with my pH meter, or maybe my tank is just way to high on pH. It shows around 10.0 and that's not good so I truly hope it''s just a fault of the meter. I'm getting delivered new one today so I'm immediately gonna retest everything and give them looooong flush with correct pH and EC. EC shouldn't be too high and girls are very brave so far, I haven't really noticed any signs of nut burns or pH burns. Let's hope it's not gonna go wrong until new meter arrives, Other than that smell is pretty strong, I'd say maybe too strong even for me and I usually don't mind the aroma at all :) Together with new pH meter I'm getting new HPS bulb (the old one has already done 3 grows over 3 years), and dehumidifier, because I have had some issues with mould during my previous grows. I'd say 3 more weeks of feeding and 2 weeks of flush and we should be done. I wish I switched earlier because 2 plants can't really fit there and I accidentally snapped 2 main branches so I definitely want to avoid this next grow. Thanks for checking.

Week number 4 , I had to swap the 55w neons ramps for the HID 600w MH , plants were overtaking the light coverage surface meaning it’s time to give some more growing space under more coverage ! Also, I will start giving the first feeding by the end of the week, around 700ppm’s / 1.4mS, Cellmax Soil Mix is pre-fertilized ( like most of all horticultural Soil Mix ) and as you can see plants didn’t need any extra feeding ! Topping the plants at the 3rd node at the seedlings stage didn’t make any stress at all , they just have redirected the energy in the sides shoots as you can see on the video. Overall Development Week 4 marks the transition into mid-flower. Stretch has mostly stopped, and the plants are now directing energy into bud formation. The canopy remains uneven, with some taller, thinner phenotypes and others more compact and structured. Bud sites are clearly established across all main branches. Flower stacking is progressing steadily, and early cluster formation is visible on the tops. Plant Health & Observations • Significant yellowing on older fan leaves, especially mid-to-lower canopy. • Some plants appear pale green overall, indicating high nutrient demand during bulk transition. • One or two phenotypes remain darker green and structurally stronger. • Lower interior growth is lighter and less vigorous. • Selective removal of old yellow leaves was continued to improve airflow and light penetration. Despite visible leaf fade, bud development continues actively. Bud Development • Flower clusters are expanding and beginning to connect along the stems. • Pistil production is strong and consistent. • Buds are not yet dense but are clearly transitioning into the bulk phase. • Resin production is beginning to increase. This week represents the start of the main swelling period. Environmental Adjustments • Temperature reduced slightly (~1°C) to stabilize the flowering environment. • Airflow maintained across canopy level. • Canopy density moderately thinned to prevent moisture buildup. • Light coverage remains strong across the upper layer. Current Focus (Entering Week 5) • Support nutrient demand during bulk phase. • Prevent excessive early leaf loss. • Maintain stable humidity to protect developing flowers. • Monitor weaker phenotypes closely for further decline or nutrient imbalance. Overall, the crop is entering the critical mid-flower stage. The next two weeks will determine final bud density and structure.

The plants keep on thriving with three rounds of defoliation, the growth is noticeable daily. As they entered preflowering i gave them the first round of delta 9 from cannabiogen, the plants responded great as usual. I highly recommend this product. 700PPFD 50DLI

@FAST_BUDS, Hi all the happy people here in GrowDiaries. This is my second cultivation ever and it will be fun to try a bigger space than my closet grow. First, I'm just going to say I'm done with the construction of my new growroom. I put some pictures on the construction here in week one. The room is 2.14 meters by 1.7 meters and has a ceiling height of 2 meters. It provides a floor area of ​​3.6 square meters. I use a 54 Watt Lightwawe T5 for germination and 2 Pcs 400 Watt HPS lamps. I have a channel fan that replaces the room air about 40 times an hour to get a comfortable environment in the room, the air enters a fresh air intake from the outside. The air is purified through a carbon filter to then leave the room to the rest of the basement. Then I use that heat to heat the rest of the basement. I will use 8 pcs 15 liter Autopots to grow with and a 100 liter water tank that supplies the pots of water and nutrition. I will grow completely organically in soil and will watercure my buds to get the best possible medicine for me. But there are no cultivation rooms to be displayed here, so I continue with what is most important. Today I have put my seeds in my moisture dome and hope the seeds have germinated within a few days.
