Week 5: Transplant Time & Root Power! Oh man, this was one of those weeks! We transplanted all five phenos into bigger pots, and let me tell you, they’re thriving! (Check out the complete video episode for all the details 😉). The girls are looking amazing, all pretty much the same size for now, so I don’t have any favorites yet—but let’s see what the future holds! For photos, I used both my Nikon P900 and Sony A6000, with a bunch of lenses and filters to preserve the true colors—these LEDs are powerful! Current Setup & Conditions This week, they’re still chilling with their sisters in the big tent, but in about a week, they’ll be moving into the TrolMaster ecosystem for even better environmental control. Watering: pH 6.06, EC 0.96 Temperature: A bit cold , but it is what it is. We’re facing some freezing outdoor temps (as shown last week in the frosty veggie garden pics!), yet these Runtz are holding strong like true champions. 💪❄️ Nutrition: Still on the Aptus Clean Program, with: Regulator System Clean RO Water Conditioner All-in-One Liquid Root Development: The Real MVP! Let’s go deep on roots! The mycorrhizae in the Pro-Mix soil has been working its magic, and I’m still boosting them further with a touch of Aptus Holland Mycor Mix. The root development on this transplant was insane—super white, healthy, and ready to explode with growth. What Are Mycorrhizae? The word “mycorrhiza” comes from Greek: • Myco- meaning fungus • Rhiza- meaning root Mycorrhizae are a type of beneficial fungi that form a symbiotic (mutually beneficial) relationship with plant roots. These fungi extend far beyond the root zone, creating an underground network that helps plants absorb water, nutrients, and improve overall health. I put the plants into an NFT system couple weeks ago. I could have waited a bit longer for the plants to develop a stronger root system before placing the rockwool cubes into NFT but I was being impatient because of the slow start and wanted to get the plants under proper light. Now two weeks later they are growing well with good root development. I switched the lights to flowering cycle about a week ago so they should start stretching soon. No preflowers yet.

Hi and welcome to a new grow :) Unfortunately I have to start over because of a malfunction I had with the automation of the heater. I basically cooked my plants. But now we‘re back with three new Ladys, wich I hope will turn out as beautiful as in the picture. I planted four, just in case one of them doen‘t make it. I will choose the 3 faster ones of course. The medium I use is mixed with soilles media (peat ,vermiculite) with additives. It‘s basically sythetic but it still has microbes. The nutriensolution is also mixed syntheticaly. I‘m not going to explain everything right now but at this stage i‘m feeding the plant low amounts of the Veg formular that was recomended in different studies. The EC is about 1350. PH of the Media and the Water is about 5.8. I also have a CO2 bag but unfortunately it was cooked by my heater 😬let‘s hope the funghi survived. Since oxigen is very important for the roots I am pumping Air throught the watercontainer. It helps keeping it clean as well. I do have Hidrogen Peroxide as well, but i‘m not sure if i should use it for the extra oxigen. If any of you have experience with it feel free to comment! I will keep you updated on the plantgroth over the week but for now everything is setup. Have a nice Weekend 🌱 Update: The first three girls are coming out pretty fast. InicuallyI though the 4th seedling didn‘t make it but she came out a day later. that was part of the planing so we’ll see. The first three are roughly the same age too wich is awesome. Right now i‘m giving them around 200 ppfd/24h. The Temperature and humidity are stable at 26°C and 90% humidity (as in picture) now it‘s lowered to 75% wich means the VPD is roughly 8,5. Let‘s hope I don‘t cook them this time 🙏 Oh and the CO2 bag is alive. Update: I‘m experimenting with VPD and I figured out, that the leaf experiences a different VPD due to cooling of the leaf while water is transpiring. So with LEDs the leaves don‘t warm up from the missing infra red but luckily my Light gets pretty warm so i put it up hight and brighten it to 40%. The seedlings stopped growing at a Lux of 8000 so i put them on 13000 with a leaf VPD of 0,6. I used a VPD calculater and have the following environment: 27,5°C and 60% Humidity. The leafs are ≈24 degrees (if i measured correctly) and the caculator spits out 0,6-0,8 wich would be ideal. Let‘s see how they grow since they are seedlings i‘m not sure if this stresses them. So I chopped the plant today on day 48, so now it’s drying time. I’ll be back in one week to see the results.

3/25/2023 Week 6- Day 1 of Veg (Day 52 overall) Added my first between changes SILICA Top offs. Was worried that when you add it to pre mixed Nutes that it can make the whole thing turn into a gummy looking substance. I was ready to drain the system and start it over for the week if needed, but no issues adding it to the tank. the Silica going into the Res didn't gummy the system up, it did drop my PH by quit a bit causing me to have to bring it back in balance. 36 Gallons in the Tank Silica Add .5mil/Gal = 18Mil I topped some that needed to be topped, I defoliated some that needs to be defoliated. Since I have moved into Week 6 I have increased the light intensity up to just over 500 maxing it out for Veg Cycle. Next increase will be Week 1 of Flower. 3/26/2023 Week 6- Day 2 of Veg (Day 53 overall) All conditions looked great. Other than me not putting one of the humidifiers back right which means it didn't work last night so Humidity was lower than I like. But got the Humidifier back on it's stand correctly and it is now pumping away. With that I decided to give the plants a day off from any stresses, no topping, no FIMing, no Defoliation for today. Just some good old soaking up the light rays and the ability to get all the Nutes they would like.. 3/27/2023 Week 6- Day 3 of Veg (Day 54 overall) Looking kind of Bushy today, so I defoliated some, and topped some. 3/28/2023 Week 6- Day 4 of Veg (Day 55 overall) PH was a little lower than I like 5.74 so I added a few Mil of PH UP and brought it back up to 5.94. Not much else at this stage, just I topped a little and I defoliated a little. 3/29/2023 Week 6- Day 5 of Veg (Day 56 overall) Topped a little, Defoliated a little Watched them grow!! 3/30/2023 Week 6- Day 6 of Veg (Day 57 Overall) Main action today was breaking down my old tent and setting up a new tent and getting my second RDWC system setup and ready for clones. I Topped a little, I Defoliated some and started taking a good look at what I would like to take for clones in the coming days. I have a few bottom branches that look every promising for my clone material on each. 3/31/2023 Week 6- Day 7 of Veg (Day 58 overall) #3 is at 16" Tall #2 is at 13" Tall

Day 43. All is good, but she is so stretchy that all top buds stay in shade, I still have 20-30 cm of height left, but maybe I'll SuperCrop one more branch here too. Big feed and after that I'll decide what to do. Girl is showing colours !!! Happy Growing !!!

Another good week for these plants. They all seem very happy and they have started to focus more on bulking up the flowers. They are starting to smell amazing and I'm getting anxious to see these flowers develop over the next few weeks.

3 weeks in already, plants seem to be looking good, little bit of Nute burn on the plant on the right but only on 1 of the older leaves so not too concerned. Fastbuds GSC starting to smell, piney fresh ganja smell, are are now stretching a bit more. Really happy so far and loving my new hobby, excited to see what the next weeks brings! Happy growing!!!

This week has been descent, plants recovered just fine from the LST issues from before. Its like they never were really phased by it. and that's impressive for the strain it really can take abuse and grows well. I was away for a extended weekend and tossed in 1Gal of ph'd water to the plants and hopped for the best, So far so good. Will need to water them again tomorrow. Had a bit of burning on some leaves from the soil/transplant so its good to know the stuff is feeding em well. I really think the fulvic acids are helping them take in the nutrients as I'm using less of it compared to other grows with Gaia Green. I topped all the plants this week and this should set them back a bit in vertical growth. I think they will be ready for flip in a week or two, they should have established themselves in the new pots with all their roots by now. Maybe give them a bit more and then pinch them all into the SCROG net, Might need a 2nd net to support the colas if they grow really tall. Aim for week 10 flip as of now. Clones are also doing well, one of them dried out a bit more and can see the growth was stunted. I also gave away the 4th plant that was a runt, they will be keeping it in a window still till its time to transplant them outside in the spring and let it grow into a monster plant outdoors hopefully if it does not get stolen. Hard to tell what will happen to it. Lota dumbasses in their neighbourhood.
