Week 3 for the solo is officially complete. She's been growing with no trouble. Root development has been excellent. As you can see, I decided to mainline. Seeing as she's in a solo cup, I'm not too worried about stunting. I'm horrible at measuring the water intake, but the cup needs to be watered daily. It's as lite as a feather everyday.

Completely cut off cal mag and nutes. Just using ph’d water to burn off the remaining stuff in the soil

Performed a final defoliation along with the usual LST. Tried watering with only 1L to bring the watering down to every 2 days, but they started drooping a bit, so decided to stick with 2L every 3 days. Seems to work best. Not much else to report, growing steadily and buds starting to form.

They’re getting close! I could probably chop the GSC and GC but the Gelato has at least 2 weeks to go. I was hoping to bring them all down at once and dry in the tent but I may have to figure something else out. I think this is the most aesthetically pleasing garden ive grown so far. I enjoy all manner of plants and in general the GC is the nicest looking mj plant I’ve ever produced. I’d love a porch full just for the look! Anyways, all these girls are a little stunted from all the cold nights. Dark temps under 60, a lot under 50-55 for most of their lives but they look good, and still very frosty. Never had gelato or GC before so im excited to try them out, thanks for dropping by!

Hi all the happy people here in GrowDiaries. This is my second cultivation ever and it will be fun to try a bigger space than my closet grow. First, I'm just going to say I'm done with the construction of my new growroom. I put some pictures on the construction here in week one. The room is 2.14 meters by 1.7 meters and has a ceiling height of 2 meters. It provides a floor area of ​​3.6 square meters. I use a 54 Watt Lightwawe T5 for germination and 2 Pcs 400 Watt HPS lamps. I have a channel fan that replaces the room air about 40 times an hour to get a comfortable theme in the room, the air enters a fresh air intake from the outside. The air is purified through a carbon filter to then leave the room to the rest of the basement. Then I use that heat to heat the rest of the basement. I will use 8 pcs 15 liter Autopots to grow with and a 100 liter water tank that supplies the pots of water and nutrition. I will grow completely organically in soil and will watercure my buds to get the best possible medicine for me. But there are no cultivation rooms to be displayed here, so I continue with what is most important. Today I have put my seeds in my moisture dome and hope the seeds have germinated within a few days. Well... I just learned to be more gentle with my ladies I ve broken one of the leaves when I was turning the pot ... poor GG watered with Green Planet nutrients I just hope she won't get mad on me. Nothing really more exciting after those 15 days. Ohh I would forget, I bough a more expensive PH meter because I thought the cheap one that i get from Amazon is not correct. well... ...both of em are showing the same thing. From 14th day I decided to add some silicone and calmag agent into the diet of RQS ldies because they definitely are growing slower and the EC of the solutions made with RQS GROW tablets were a bit too low. I also decided to spray my ladies once a week with foliar from vitalink

Well pretty big reveal this week. You get to see all the shit & roots.....and corn. Watering the girl proved to be hard to figure out. I've been watering her everyday because of the root reveal. And all that water goes down the pot. So I was worried I would over water. Well by now you know. I under watered. But I got it all figured out. I'm not ready to reveal the custom saucer I made yet. I'm still trying to grow these over the bowl roots but they were not ready for any of the reveal so now the exposed ones are tiny and the under the soil ones are much bigger. It is what it is. I will remove the soil on the side roots in the next couple of days so I can position them where I want them then repack with soil again.

Well it finally happened, the girls have outgrown the 4x4! Was mid week and was having a hard time keeping humidity below 65%. Thought of defoliating, but can't keep doing that weekly or it will shock them sooner than later. So I decided to move the front left plant to the 3x3 under the Photontek SQ300W, giving the girls in the 4x4 some much needed breathing room. Set about retraining the plants to maximise space in the big tent, and then flattened out the lonely girl in the 3x3. Crazy enough the 4x4 still looks full by end of week, and the one by itself is getting close to filling the 3x3! This could be a pretty big grow by the time we finish 🤞. Have the solo plant running on the older Autopot valves with 6mm hose, and already had one clogging issue. Seems really early on, in past would take 2-3 weeks so thinking maybe I didn't have the lines 100% clean to start. Either way easy fix just blow out the clog and flush the lines with a liter or so and back in business. Always remember to flush the on/off valve as well as the main valve in the tray. Otherwise raised the lights in 4x4 to their max height (5" from roof) and took all the slack out of the cables to keep them off the lights. Adjusted the ties on last day of the week, but things seem pretty set now in the big tent so will just be widening out the lone girl once she grows a bit more. I'm sure by end of week that tent will be packed as well!

Wow last day of August, summer is flying by All the girls have finally stepped into high gear and are flourishing although in years past at this time of season my girls have always been further along. I guess this means a later harvest this year? Wondering if other growers are experiencing the same pattern. Sept.1 and average temps have started to drop during the day and the morning dew has reared its ugly head once again. This will probably be the case from here on in. Going to try my best to keep the girls from staying wet throughout the day. Sept.3 noticed some powdery mildew on my Godfather OG #1 in front of the wall. Made up a concoction of 1 litre of milk to 3 litres of water and gave her a good spray after the sun went down. Also sprayed the rest of my girls as a preventative. Hopefully this will help manage the problem. Sept. 6 this week has been quite windy most days and my Godfather OG blew over landing on top of Trainwreck #1 and breaking 2 lower colas OUCH! 👺 My fault for having Godfather to close Trainwreck

Day 35 - few pics and vids..... everything going along nicely 👍 This is a pretty big update, so i'll add to it over the next few days, as i finish building it all.... i'm building these 2 x SS haze, the full tent, just finishing up the setup..... trimming them, changing solutions to 12/12 and flower..... changed the exhaust fan and filter setup to the better outside the tent method.... and installed 12v CPU computer fan, lol ("alta9" fits in 4in ducting perfectly), drops wattage on extractor fan.... 10w tops... got a few kg of active carbon and making/replacing the carbon filter .... i'll add afew vids of the new setup in afew days... Day 36 - few pics/vid of new tent setup...... "alta 9" fan :) post tomorrow after i finish trimmin and settin up night mode etc...... and into tomorrow we go, lol ... Day 37.... slowly getting there..... little bit more to go... this should make things abit more interesting..... right tank (short babie) has : 19 lts of tap water @18oC + 150 ml -dutch master one gold FLOWER.... 6.4 PH - 1400 PPM left tank has : 19 lts of tap water @18oC + 50 ml of elements a and 50ml of b and 10 ml of nitro and 20ml of Crystalic (molasses/pot) .... 6.5 PH - 1200 PPM more pics / vids of the finished tent setup.... roots, transfer, etc... Day 37 is alot of vids of the clean and change to flower..... edit - day after build noticed left tank (nutrifield) not enough bubbles..... pulled out the 4 air pump and swapped to the 2 x original oxipumps... much better, also to fix the problem with ph goin high, and bubbles not stirin the mix, was to add another 10ml of crystallic and another 5ml of nitro... then pumped both tanks with ph down and set em to 5.8-6.2 - both plants have fully recovered from the big trim, and bounced back within 12-24hrs, post pics/vid in abit..... Day 39 - made a freaky video... was curious about what the plants would see looking up at the lights... the lights and buzzing of air compressors and bubbling tank water, and dazzling lights turned out pretty cool in vid editor, was in selfie mode.... and final vid of the bounceback from trim :) 👍😎
