Week 7 Flower Let the Flush commence! 💦 Both girls started flush on Day 41. Twin2 is definitely finishing sooner than Twin1, but as they've both been tested the same, they'll both be taken down on the same day after a 14+ day flush. We're having a rise in heat in my area so it's interesting to see how each pheno reacts. Twin2 seems to be showing slightly more heat stress, by shooting a few fox tails, but at this size it's only a good thing 😉 I've also only just found a new trait being expressed on both twins, but much more consistently on Twin1, and that's the double serrated leaves you can see in the photo's. It doesn't mean or affect anything, it just a cool trait 🍁 I run approx 30+ltr water through each pot each time they're flushed. Before doing so I check the ppm and pH value of the run off from each pot and take records. To do this, I gently pour a few litres in the centre of the pot until a sufficient amount has drained into the tray below. This can then be tested with your TDS/EC pen and pH pen. I still use Activated EM1 (EMA) throughout flush at 1ml/ltr because microbes are always a benefit. Once stretched/activated it goes a very long way so if I don't use it throughout flush, then it may go over it's 6-8week shelf life. They're both looking great and still filling up. Both twins are coated in trichomes and have their own distinctive smells. They both smell very floral; Twin2 smells a lot sweeter, but Twin1 has a more earthy, almost gassy kind of smell to her that's just as nice. Meow! Week 4 is upon us! We adjusted her ties this week and removed a few of the larger top fans..her color is nice and uniform..her bud development looks closer to week 3 than 4 but she'll probably start plumping quick in the next week..we lost half of our flower lighting for most the week, we use a dual 315watt and one side of the ballast had a short..we remedied this and ordered another 315watt CMH..now that we have more light than we need, moving from a 4ft an 8ft flowering tent may be in our future... thank for reading and happy growing 🐱 7/12/21- light defoliation thru the center to base and removed some large fans from the top of the main stems

--------------------------------------- Seedsman Afghan Kush Harvest --------------------------------------- Harvest day 6th of December, 6/12/2019 Germination: 6/8/2019 Weight on the scales : 219g, weighted after 10 days of drying, but there are stems and some leaves, not a lot, but only bud would be a little less weight. Flowering weeks: 10 weeks Veg weeks: 7 weeks Fluxh weeks: 2 weeks ---------------------------------------- Harvest was a little aerlier than expected ( flowers development), because i spotted some mold points on some buds, like 5 in total, lost few flowers but a cleaning trim was done after. I was checking every day, cut the plant inmediatly, also beacuse RH was rising, and also some rain was coming after a couple of sunny days. Production could have been better, yes, but, started to flower really late too, so that allowed the plant to grow a little more also, so that added some branches and space for buds, the thing that i notice is that they could have grow more in summer, but its simply a blessing that, this plant, made it until December hahaha :D Loved to eat a lot, high doses always. Noticed extra vigorousity when adding rich micro nutrients. Trully special plant, the range of purple/dark purple/blue purple colours showed will make me remember this plant. The flowers pack an extraordinary aroma, after 3 weeks in jars, the flavour is: hash/fruity/cream and it smells like: mangoes/fresh fruits and hash/resin. Die ersten gelben blätter unterhalb kommen und man merkt, dass die energie in die blüte geht, die buds werden immer dicker und harziger. ich schätze noch knapp 1 1/2 Wochen bis zur Ernte. Leider ist das Wetter katastrophal, ich hoffe auf eine besserung.

Der Düngeplan bleibt unverändert. * Zustand der Pflanze: Kräftiger Blütestretch, erste Blütenstände sichtbar. * Wichtige Ereignisse: Anhebung des DLI. * Düngung & Messwerte: * Gießwasser: pH ca. 6,3. Leitwert 1,4 bis 2 S. * Drain: Wir stellen sicher, dass der pH-Wert nicht unter 5,5 und nicht über 6,8 liegt und der Leitwert die +/- 500 S Abweichung einhält. * Anpassungen: Wir haben die Blume diesmal einfach nur ohne jedes Training wachsen lassen. Ein Arm ist jedoch beim trainieren diese Woche geknickt und wurde mit einem Strohhalm geschieht. (ungewolltes HST).

Hello Diary. Finished and the third week of flowering, Haze Berry looks really impressive. Tall and stocky :). 😎 The flowers apparently bloom and begin to cover entire branches. The smell is not as intense as that of his roommate Fat Banana, but on my small farm there is a real fruit fantasy. 😋 In the Growbox to his left is his brother, another Haze Berry who is a little late but by all accounts will not catch up with his big brother. Watering is approximately every three days when I prepare 7 liters of water and with that amount evenly water all three plants. I preventively add CalMg and add BioBizz every other time. Here’s what he looked like all week. 02/11/2020 - Day 39. Watering. I added BioBizz and prevention CalMg. p.H. I adjusted to 6.5 with Plagron’s Lemon Kick. Temp / Humidity on the farm - 26.7 degrees and 42% humidity. 05/11/2020 - Day 42. Photographing and watering. This time I just regulated p.H. at 6.4 and I didn’t add anything else. The plants look really beautiful so I took photos on a black background at the beginning of flowering. Temp / Humidity on the farm - 25.6 degrees and 41% humidity. For now, everything is going great, the plants look happy and I look forward to following further development. See you soon.

Hello everyone. Another week passed, gave her water and some enzimes on day 33, I noticed some leaf intervenal discoloration, not too concerning in my opinion. Maybe the enzimes were too much or some nutrient lock out due to a somewhat excessive fertilization. Any opinion on this issue? I think will go on with plain water to the end I think, hoping the problem will sort out itself. What do you think? Other then that I think buds oare forming fast and fine, she's putting out a little resin and smell now. Ciao 😊

These girls look amazing!!! I have multiple different age and different strains but these are what I started the diary with.

Day 63 F: Well here we are at the end of a brilliant grow that has seen totally different mixes of heights and genetics successfully completed under the Mars Hydro fc3000 and my own mix of supersoil. Rhe light managed to keep them all at full tilt even though they were at big , differing canopy heights. If inhad used the middle of the room , I could have covered the canopy a lot better and the light would have easily reached the whole canopy despite their odd height differences. I have a Mars tent that will be perfect for this light to totally fill out with 6 plants once I am back at full production and over this slight delay upcoming. The soil has been brilliant from the off , even the small Mexican airline #1 that seemed to struggle with the start up and strength of the mix has finished well. I only added ecothrive , eco life cycle and biosys tea throughout the grow with a couple of grams of Megacrop in flower as a booster. The watering in the beds has been very easy to maintain and keep moist and the more shallow depth has helped check at root level and bottom easily. The immobile nature of the bed has meant that using different strains as the 3 is maybe not ideal , workable , but not ideal and needs some forward planning next time out . Besides that , it has been very simple to manage. The strains have been perfect throughout the weeks with little to no signs of any deficiency. I did remove a lot of fan leaves over the past week to really open the lower parts of the plant to more light for the ripening time . It will also help with the drying time and harvest. There is a lot of really nice colas on these ladies and I cannot recommend the genetics for autos from Fast buds enough. The Strawberry pie finished beautifully and with 2 phenos ro enjoy once dry , I am really looking forward to hitting that one. The six shooter look deadly for the unweary too with their frosty and kush looking purples and reds. Mexican airline have done a nice job on fattening their buds at the end but the #1 is way less bountiful than her sister. Let's see what a drying period does to their overall yields now. They look so big when 1st hung to dry but it is so disheartening watching them shrink to tiny versions of the originals. The dark period has made them a little more tacky without a doubt and their smells are so obvious going through the plants cutting. Temps are at around 10°c in the room with no lights on so this will be a long ,low and slow dry . I do have the dehumidifier on its highest setting to avoid these fat buds developing any bud rot but the low temps will also be a huge help. I have a nice mix of aromas among these with lemon , fresh cut fruit , candy cane sweet and a spicy fuel . Roll on the harvest and cure now. Hopefully a harvest report will follow within 10-14 days. Very vigorous growth over the past week and has responded very well to LST. Very full plant. Watered in a Compost Extraction once again this week, which all my plants respond well too. Another week down and bot much more to say, as usual. Plants are doing their own thing, I'm just making sure she gets water when she needs it.
