It was finally time to harvest her, what good times we had with her. Amazed with how beautiful this plant is, how easy to manage and train and how rewarding Orange Hill Special is. So we said our thanks and goodbye, thanked her for all the joy she gave while growing her. I realize more and more how I love growing them even more than the end-product. It takes my mind of all going on for a while, in my miniature jungle world in the attic. Im sure all of you just sometimes sit there and watch them, in wonder, dreaming away with a good buzz on, watching them wave in the wind of the fans. So with a heavy hart I apologize, play them their last music, sit with them and feel them and smell them, watch the glistening of the cristals. In the end we had 209 gram dried Orange Hill Special, I will know the total of the grow, in a few days, since the final big whopper still has to dry: my XtraKush, be sure to check the harvest of that one *in couple of days) and see a one-dollar seed outperform two 10 dollar seeds. We are starting to get the nitrogen issue handled. She was almost white! lol now all new growth is a healthy green, just in time to stop, and start giving her Phos. She just ate every drop of nutrients out of her soil during stretch. I think the white spots on some of the leaves are light bleaching so we went ahead and raised the lights another 12" to 36" total now. We also noticed it looks like her roots receded back into the soil some? Does that make sense? You should use cotton pads because it is one of the fastest way to germinate seeds, it is also one of the more reliable way because with these few steps, you could have a 99% of success if seeds are fresh (we store our seeds in a dark and sealed container in the fridge and they last years!). This is a NOOB-FRIENDLY technique BUT you have to respect some little and easy steps: 1️⃣take one cotton pad, spray it 5 times with water; 2️⃣dispose seeds in the sprayed cotton pad, remember to leave minimum 1cm of space between seeds, 3️⃣take a new cotton pad, spray it 3 times with water, face the wet side down and put it on the seeds of the first cotton pad; 4️⃣spray the dry side 3 times. 5️⃣put your "sandwich/es" in a sealed dark container of a sufficient size to store them, I use a plastic container (glass or plastic are equal) with about this size: 15x30cm .It contains about 8 "sandwitches". 6️⃣store the container in a dark place with a temperature from 17°C (23/24 °C are optimal)and more. REMEMBER: More light they see and colder is the place,slower will be the germination and lower will be the germination ratio. *(If your seeds are old, not good stored and with a low germination ratio, I suggest you to use Seed Booster. Old seeds and maybe stored in a very hot place for a long time may will be death and may will not never germinate). Generally a normal cotton pad is good for 3 seeds. If you follow these steps, you will hardly have problem of non-germinating seeds. Great week this week! Yanked out the stunted smaller plant as she was not growing anymore. Made a little room for the larger one. Doing bending almost daily trying to keep her off the light and out of the fan. Ppm was at around 200 when I pulled the smaller plant. I then added 1/3 nutrients. Ppm at 826. Ph was a little low in the 5.5 so I raised it up 5.8-6.1 or so. Ph seems to fluctuate a lot as the pump moves the water around. Flowers are plumping up. The plant is so big I can barely get into the basin. Daily water flushing was helping the roots a lot last week to keep off the brown. I figure she has 1-2 weeks left as she is an auto and waaayyyyy past her due date. There is 0 room for the new plant to grow so I think she will end up not working out, I might cut back the big girl to make room, not sure yet. Most of the harvested little plant will go to bubble hash basket. I will update later.

So the girls are maturing up now and getting thicker still. No much to do other than wait for the trichomes to tell me they are finished.. so far seeing all milky white, but would like at least 30% Amber in there. Flush times in RDWC will only take 2-3 Days max so not so concerned about that, a res change with Reverse Osmosis water is what ill do closer to harvest for the cleanest meds. Smelling really strong and gas like with the first pheno and the second pheno is more sweet/candy like with subtle hints of gas. Can't wait to try it but for now the process can't be rushed. Some better footage and long videos on the youtube channel if your curious to how they are getting on. Day 68 - one pheno has a lovely fade going on, black... looks cool. She is looking really thick in places as ypu can see from the day 68 photo, thats actually a 'lower' bud. Nice a frosty and smells soo dank, i open the tent and without touching anything i come out and smell so loud like I have rolled in the garden 😅 (Serious). Cant wait to.get her chopped bjt sticking to the 70 days at least. Will be back very shortly with another update. Day 69/70 - Decided to upload a night video, i did try to upload a video previously for the week gone.. but for some reason the growdiaries platform wouldn't allow it.. i always upload high quality videos/pictures otherwise whats the point. Sort it out GD. But anyway back to the garden, judging by day 70, the bigger plant pheno definitely seems done but the other pheno serms it could go a little longer. Ultimately I'm waiting to get the trichome ratio how I want it as thats the true sign of when she's done. She's faded a really nice purple, black. So I know she's close. The end is near people.. 10-15 days to go, depending on plant. Some of them starting to show mature trichomes. Going full dose of all nutrients this week. After 2 aply of neem, there is no more black flys!!

It's such a frosty plant!! I will be harvesting them in the next few weeks. I give it more time because it grows under 12 hours of light and not 20 hours like the breeder recommended

Hey everyone! Do-Si-Dos ladies are growing inside the grow tent now and under a 250w HID, which is a HPS since my MH bulb burnt. They are growing very strongly, fast and healthy. With a decent thick stock for their age I believe. This genetics are very strong, so far no problems, no stunt growth. Made a 4-way topping, where you must leave 2 nodes only. The plant had around 6 nodes before topped. Will start LST on branches and shape them for the scrog I might apply later. They leave a sweet smell scent in the air. Roots are also growing pretty fast. Week5 Vegetative steering Day 29 ————- 4 minute shots(220+-ml). 50-60klux 68 leaf temp Defoliated/Lollipopped Plants seem to be inefficiently spaced. I moved them all closer and they are now positioned better under the lights ———— Day 30 VPDis about a .95 Vegetative steering schedule for 3gal who drink a little over a quart a day 220 P1 440 P1 660 P1 880 P1 1000 P1 1220 P2 1330(1%)P3 I achieve runoff at end of P1 then do a maintenance shot and finish the day off with a watering. P1 waters every 15 min starting 1.5hours after lights on Plants are swelling. But not as well as when i use CO2. I think plants in flower still need co2 so that we can get these lights closer.(as long as the leaf(temp does not go over 80 and vpd stays good) Also, i found a plant to have hermied in week 2 so i removed the pollen sac and rubbed some pollen on 2 plants. Seems like they are just starting to take form on the flowers. **need to check for hermies beginning week 2** Am happy to get seeds from these ladies as this was very isolated in the grow ________________ Day 31 Plants are starting to frost. Group1 has swelled the most Group 2 has average growth and nice frost Group 3 looks like it was over dosed. *Bras&MJ study shows that MJ does mot need to be sprayed with Bras as it will over stress the plants. Brass was completely fine to spray without having adverse reactions. MJ seems to decrease yields but is a worthy tradeoff(will continue to use)-* ————— Day 32 Sprayed 2 plants with MJ(they now have been sprayed both week 4&6) Sprayed 3 with bras(also have been sprayed twice in flower) Finally frosting On the plants
