Black Muffin Harvest Report The Black Muffin Monster really impressed me. She grew into a beautiful and strong plant with dense, resinous buds and an amazing aroma. Unfortunately, I suspect she developed a fungal infection, probably Fusarium, which forced me to remove about four side branches. Still, the rest of the plant stayed healthy and finished strong. Overall, I’m very happy with the results and excited to see how she turns out after drying and curing. It was a great experience despite the challenges.

I'm really happy about the quality of this strain, but I'm unhappy about the final results.. I think it was a setup mistake in the room, it probably took lots of heat but I got other seeds of it I'll probably will do another diary with her! D29. We're at the start of the fifth week of veg, and all is well in the tent. I did some more LST to spread her out as much as possible before she goes into flower. ------------------------------ D31. I'm fairly confident that she is stunted since she is extremely compact and doesn't seem to grow much. She will go into flower any day now, but she is still pretty small. I'm adjusting the LST wires daily and today, I did some minor defoliation by removing a few low branches and leaves. Maybe that will redirect some energy and help her stretch out. ------------------------------ D32. Alright, she is now officially in flower. I was hoping for a few more days in veg, but she wouldn't have it. I brewed up a quick compost tea using oat flour as the food source. Some people claim that that will result in a fungally dominant tea, so I thought I'd try it out. I also added humic acid and a teaspoon of myco because why not? Honestly, I'm not sure it is even possible to create a fungally dominant AACT, as the constant water movement will most likely tear the fungal hyphae apart as they form. In any case, a different food source should promote other bacteria than the molasses I usually use. Diversity is the name of the game in living soil. Well, in life in general. I gave her around 1 liter (5% of container volume) of tea @ pH 6.1. ------------------------------ D35. We're on the last day in the fifth and final week of veg, as she is now in flower. All is well in the tent, and there isn't much to report. One thing I did was buy a mushroom grow kit to keep in the tent. I figured I'd test it out and see how it works. The mushrooms produce CO2 that the plants love, and hopefully, I'll get some tasty Oyster mushrooms to eat — two birds with one stone and all that. ------------------------------

She is doing great. Got a net setup to spread everything out a little better. Still top dressing a 1.5x strength every two weeks. I've cloned a few lower branches and hopefull a few will take. The smell of this is great it smells so sweet like candy. It taste good as well. Yes I tried a few of the little buds from the ones being cloned. These pics and video are at day 88.

9/1 - Start of week 4 and the GSCs are looking strong. The shorter pheno is starting to catch up. She has multiple main sights as if she had been topped...even though she hasn't. Can't wait to see how she turns out. Watered all today with RO water and molasses. 9/4 - Just a light water and some LST today. Still no nutrients and they are looking fabulous. Loving the Nature's Living Soil Autoflower mix! 9/6 - I come in each day and water and do a little LST on all the ladies. Moving them just about a quarter of the way around the pot. They are really starting to become bushy and branch out.. They are all very green and looking great.

A tad late, but on Dec 20th we started flower! The pics and video are all from dec 20. To kick it off we did a small feed (1tbsp) of veg nutrients and over the next few weeks will transition to flower blend. So far she's taken well to the training and looks very strong overall. Day 35 flowering: Hi all , I hope we are all healthy , sane , and loved in our worlds. It has been another productive week for the two ladies sat basking in the Viparspectra sunshine. The temps in the UK have been low the last few weeks so they can settle into a less hostile heat zone. They are continuing to use those reds and infrared to their advantage with building some.nice long colas among both plants. The lights penetration is really good so they are having no issues with lower bud growth at all so far. The Northern lights has really begun to cola stack now with approx 8 mains that ade swelling by the day. She looks like she could be a very nice yield based on those alone. Fingers crossed she keeps swelling. Her buds and pistils are crystal white at the moment with no signs of ageing so she is in her freshest state of flowering right now . This is a good sign of a longer possible flowering period than the 8 weeks usual. The Grandaddys mimosa is more advanced on her ripening with quite a few orange pistils ( dying off) being replaced by fresh ,white , vibrant ones ( new pollen catchers). She has a good covering of orange hairs already for her flowering stage and could be a very early 7 week harvest possibly. She is nowhere near as big as the Northern lights and is being elevated to keep her in the canopy but she has approx 10 mains that are looking shaggy and with a high leaf ratio too. She is starting to have a nice fruity tang to her smell now when watered or handled. She could ⁹ me by swelling up huge in the next couple of weeks but I wont be too worried if not. The light is performing really well and has done Viparspectra justice too. I am genuinely shocked at how capable it is for its size. The other strains are doing very well too with the Gorilla cookies looking very bud productive and big. They got an amazing start into flowering from the xs1500 and I wish they were under the new offering from their range but I am hoping to twist their arms into letting me try a couple of xs 4000's from showing how well we can use this light. Lol we can but hope..... Be safe well growmies

The buds got a little bigger and more pistels are getting orange. The plants are also taking up less water. A lot of trichomes are turning milky or are already milky and a few are amber. They're about to reach harvest within a week or so. First I would like to see more amber trichomes. I've also dicovered a swollen calyx with a seed so there must be a hermaphrodite in the room. That's the disadvantage of a scrog setup. You can't check everything 100% So some buds will have seeds, I just hope not too much. 🤞 This was this weeks menu for the Pineapple Chunks: Day 1 → Dry Day 2 → Each 1000 ml (0.26 gallon) tapwater with Plagron nutrients (see above for which and how much) Day 3 → Dry Day 4 → Each 1000 ml (0.26 gallon) ph adjusted tapwater (ec 0.45 – ph 6.5) Day 5 → Dry Day 6 → Each 1000 ml (0.26 gallon) tapwater with Plagron nutrients. 8 ml Terra Bloom, 2 ml Power Buds and 2 ml Green Sensation was added to 4 liter (1 gallon) of tapwater (ec 1.24 – ph 6.4) This was the last time they've got nutrients. Day 7 → Dry From now on they'll only get ph adjusted tapwater mixed with deminiralized water to get an EC value of 0.3 and I'm going to add CannaFlush to one batch next week. Cobs stayed with the same power and height as last week and that was 320 watt at 45 cm (17.7 inch) → DLI 43/PPFD 995 Next week DLI/PPFD will get lowered to 38/880 for 4 days and then lowered again to 35/810 till the end of the run. Temperatures fluctuated between 19.2 – 28.7 °C (66.5 – 83.6°F) and humidity levels between 42 – 70% Till next week! 😎☀️ Outdoor season ☀️😎 So with the Kosher Cake i will not aim for big weights, but instead it will be just a little test to see how it will react outside. Usually the sun reaches my house for not many hours so we'll see.. However, it will be a fun and new thing for me, growing an autoflower and outside are things that i have not done so far.. I think i will let her grow two weeks inside the tent and then move her outside for the rest of her growth.

See comments in videos. I will say, I am loving my AutoPots. It has taken a huge burden off the growing process, not having to water everyday or every other day. So much, that I have purchased a 4 Pot XL system for my smaller tent. Grow easier, with #AutoPotUSA.

The week starts Monday, Jan-13 in flowering stage. The plant is growing fast, stretching long and I'm constantly tying down branches to maintain an even canopy. There's also a stronger scent of lemon already in the tent. Carried out substantial defoliation of almost all the big fan leaves and a few little stems that were not likely to make it above the canopy. Avoided defoliating the major cola branches. This encourages the plant not to waste resources on a node which is only going to produce “popcorn” buds. The plants reacted well to the defoliation and were looking good by the end of the light cycle for the day. The net is completely full and this will be the last week of applying any LST as part of the ScrOG setup. Light is maintained at 30cm distance from canopy, with daily fertigation at lights on - watering almost 3L per day. Lowered the average RH in the space to 50%. ----prior 4 weeks updates ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- The week starts Monday, Jan-06 in flowering stage. The net is filling up nicely with the ScrOG process being enjoyable - just tucking branches nicely under squares once stretched enough. Lost a branch end with 3 nodes accidentally whilst tucking away so now I'm super careful. The Sativa dominant strain is stretching nicely and bends easily. Minor defoliation of lower branches and fan leaves continues daily. Light is maintained at 30cm distance from canopy. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- The week starts Monday, Dec-30 in vegetative stage - switching the light regime to flowering. Initiated flowering with an extended dark period prior to switching light regime - this practice is supposed to promote a faster initiation of flowering by the plant. Maintain lights off from Dec-31, 10:00 until Jan 1 - 18:45 allowing a 32hr darkness period prior to switching the light regime. Light regime is set for 12.5/11.5 on/off allowing me a better maintenance window for my living situation. Both plants are growing fast and strong, showing their genetic traits. Some shoots are going through the net already. Have started to tuck branches as they grow to fill up any gaps. Did minor defoliation on both plants near their stem base and centres. Some green algae on roots/coco medium on the surface of the pot. Have defoliated some more which hopefully helps with air circulation at the area. Will monitor over the week - may need to decrease watering frequency, although they seem to be keeping up drinking. Lowered the High Humidity setting of the extraction fan to 60% - which effectively keeps it running at least 75% of the time, and removed the humidifier. Will monitor and adjust as necessary lowering the setting to 50% in a few weeks whilst flowering. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- The week starts Monday, Dec-23 in vegetative stage. Installed the ScrOG net - Set at 20cm from the base of the plants, being 55cm from ground. The plant is showing great growth, lots of branching and new growth sprouts. A few branches are beginning to come through the net and almost all main branches are now tied down horizontally after the two recent toppings. Applied more LST and will wait for the branches to reach the net and start tucking. The AC Infinity fan is currently only running intermittently with its current settings. This seems to impact the utilisation and effectiveness of the carbon filter in use. The desired outcome is for the fan to be running for longer periods whilst in Auto config. Lowered the High Level Humidity from 70% to 60%, and more importantly, lowered the Max Speed from 4 to 2 with the intent that a lower fan speed will result in longer periods where the extraction fan is operated to remain below threshold targets for the grow space. Plant growth continues to be strong at the end of the week. Big fan leaves near the top are beginning to look a little serrated and dark, similar to the start of this grow. This may be due to the extra CalMag being added which was the issue at the start of the grow. Will keep monitoring and half the CalMag dosage on next feed. Importantly, I have learnt nutrient mixing of the CalMag should be done prior to the Canna Coco A & B. To date I have done the opposite which may explain my earlier issues. Fertigating daily at the start of the light cycle. One more week of vegetative growth before switching to flowering although I may need to switch earlier due to the vigorous growth and considering the stretch yet to come. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- ................................. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- My grow setup includes; - Secret Jardin DS120W tent (120cm x 60cm x 180cm) placed inside the bedroom. Passive intake of air is from a closed off section of the room where the central heating boiler sits - the intake is warm air (20 degC.) and fairly dry (40% RH) during the winter months. - Mars Hydro SP250 LED light - extraction fan - AC Infinity Cloudline T6 - ventilation fans - aquarium heater - small oil heater - small dehumidifier - 20L Airpots and 3.5L general pots for seedling stage - Canna Coco substrate and nutrients - pH and EC/TDS meters - Thermo/Hygro meter

She was left alone for 10 days but it turns out that I managed to leave just the right amount of water in autopot. She used all the water and dried out her root just at the same time when I was back. She recovered nicely from overwatering and went pretty high witch was expected for part of sativa genetics in her. She was already in flowering phase but I still I decided to apply some heavy LST to lower her down and spread around the grow tent since she is the only one in. She has now covered 70% of my 80x80cm grow tent. Also I used BOOM BOOM spray twice to save her from LST shock. First added bactrex 1 gr, orgatrex 20ml in 1 lit (BIO TABS) . After that I was using combination of 2ml orgatrex and 2ml of BIO PK 5-8 in 1 lit water with each watering. And she really started to use loads of water, 1,5 lit per day. No photos during week 5 so I added early week 6

I used overdrive fertilizer again this week. My God, girls get more beautiful like this. The last weeks make me very happy.😍🌷💐💥⚘️👽👽🎍 From now on, I will be very careful because the more I improve the conditions, the better results I get Especially the temperature difference between night and day. humidity Box ambient temperature 👊👊💧♠️

The buds are swelling nicely 🌱💨 and developing super well the terps are turning out amazing! 😍✨

This week i will start the LST for the Fruit Spirit. She recovered amazing after the topping last week. I’ve added more chamomile flowers and egg shells to the soil as a natural fertiliser. I also use twice a week the 7-7-7 All Purpose for the Fruit Spirit and the Blue Cheese. I use 2 LED white lights, 1 Blue Fluorescent Tube and Pink Fluorescent tube. For water i buy mineral water from the store with 5.5PH and the soil is roughly 5.7 PH.

Hi, I started my first cultivation with this fabulous Gorilla Glue Auto variety. I transplanted the sprout in subtrate I prepared by using it: 70% BioBizz Light mix 20% earthworm humus 5% coconut fiber 5% perlite 30g Nutrihemp 125g Gurumix At the time of transplanting I then added 1g of Mycor mix to the bottom of the hole. Now the seedling has 7 days of life I hope it can grow healthy and strong and give us an excellent harvest 😉
