Today is day 72 from seed!! This week went real well , 2 of the Forbiddin Runtz have been getting flushed an the rest will also start flush through this next week, I can’t believe the smell of this combo strain,, super fruity smelling an all are super sticky!! Stay tuned for next week yall !

February 28, 2019 Update: Chugging right along in the veg tent. I sprayed the plants with Neem Oil last week and the leaves look shiny from that, but no new signs of bug damage since then. I did feed them a little Recharge also and they really responded great to that. After taking the pics I did some HST bending at the base of the stem on all plants. I didn't bend them over, just pinched real hard and wiggled the plant back and forth until I could feel the bend between my fingers. We'll see how that goes. The DinaMed's are still taller than the MediKush's but the MediKush's still have a nice tight node structure. If all goes to plan I'll have my flowering plants chopped and hanging in 2 weeks and will then be able to move these girls into the flowering room. 12 days to full transplantable roots. Right on schedule as expected. Moved 6 of the 12 clones (1 per plant) into a new 45L Rez that I cobbled together in an evening. Just small enough to fit into the cabinet. Hopefully the roots don’t choke each other out for territory while we work to reveg, re-flower and ultimately seed em all for the new F3 line. We’ll pick the best buds from the lot for the next testing run once we see what the pheno variation looks like from the main run in the tent. It’s a process and annoyance not to be yielding bud off a grow cycle but it is what it is if you want your own signature stuff. Alls good for now. Let’s just hope that the 6 coats of paint I threw on the lid is enough to keep out the grow light penetration🤞. Shoulda used black, whatever.

Algae is an asshole. Thought things were going really well... and then found a bit of algae in the rockwool.... No biggie I figure. Wrong. Left it one night, and today (Sunday) open the jar to find algae in all the roots. Not cool. Well, I needed to swap the nutrients anyway, and was going to do a major bonsai pruning... so why not also wash everything, plant included, in mild hydrogen peroxide solution? Sure, THAT's fun. Made the decision to swap Hydroguard for H2O2 as well, since the water is room temp (21-22 C) and the H2O2 supposedly helps prevent algae.... and keeps away root rot even in higher solution temperatures. Oh, and H2O2 is also seemingly a buffer... making getting the pH right in that small jar strange - needed WAY more pH down than without the hydrogen peroxide. Fingers crossed that the major life disturbances will help manage the algae and not just put the nails in the coffin.

Bud sites are getting ready now. I did a bit more LST and removed a few side shoots which never gonna make it due to lack of light. I replaced the light, under the TS 1000 she was praying all day long. On the previous run I had problems with the FC3000, it was turning itself off at random times. Mars Hydro was kindly sent me a replacement controller, so far it seems like this problem has been solved. However, I tried to use the app again and it’s still shite. 💩😂 So I just use the light in manual mode. Such a shame for the extra features I cannot use. For DLI I will use the following chart: AUTO FLOWER LED LIGHT INTENSITY Recommended LED PPF/PAR Values / DLI Based on 20 hrs. of light. Seedlings 150 - 200 umol / DLI 10.80 - 14.4 moles per day Veg up to 9" 450 umol / DLI 32.40 moles per day Early bloom 500 umol / DLI 36.00 moles per day Mid bloom 650 umol / DLI 46.80 moles per day Late bloom 750 umol / DLI 54.00 moles per day Ripen 400 umol / DLI 28.80 moles per day *** Use extreme caution going 700 umol or higher @ 20 hrs/day this could cause leaf burn*** The only difference is that I will keep this run in 18/6, so I ignore the PAR values above. IMO the best thing you can do is to read the leaves all the time and use the charts as a guidance.

I just got myself a Digital Microscope for under $20.00 on Walmart.com, I got me a cheap one to start with so I can learn how to use it properly. But for under $20.00 this one brings 8 led lights, a adjustable mount, comes with 3 different connection choices build in, magnifies from 50-1000x, can take pictures and also videos and my favorite part, it connects right to my mobile device, you download and install a Google app and your ready to go, ill work with it and add pictures next week... only half way thru week 8, but Im going be too busy to update this over the weekend. unfortunately, the Gelato turned male, so Ive got 4 females (from orginally 8) three GG4, & one GSC. pistils are poppin everywhere, but as the true 1st week of flowering, nothing too fun to see. so far leaves look great, no ph imbalance issues like last grow.

I think it's nearly time for flush. I have added a fan in there to reduce humidity levels. Everything is blooming as fattening up really well. Can't wait!

Not big on the stretch which is always a bonus for me and already getting a nice aroma as well. No complaints from the LST/Topping and seems to enjoy being in a hempy bucket.

Cc#1 wet = 14.62oz Trimmed=1.92oz Cc#2 wet =22.22oz Cc#3 wet =26.39oz. The last four crystal candies are getting an ice bath for 48 hrs then cut down to dry. I will re update my weeks when further weight is taken and I’ll re update the final product. She’s got lots of fruity notes with a little gas and earthy smell. First plant was cut down early and has cured for a week now and is more of an energetic high as flavors still continue to flourish as curing continues. Definitely a happy moment for me seeing as this is my first grow
