☀️ // Day 66 🍁 Chopping Day Every grow must come to an end. I can't be the only one who always gets heartbroken when chopping down the plants. I mean, for 4 months you do everything for the plants that they're having a good life. You cheer every healthy sign from them, you want them to love life and from one day to the other, you kill them. That's just sad, isn't it? I am always telling myself that they're basically become a part of us through the endocannabinoid system, so that's their afterlife, right? Haha Anyway, this was a rather stressful grow. I had major problems with the soil, I just couldn't control it. I think it's because of the Peat Free stuff I mixed in, it somehow fucked up the buffer capabilities of the soil or something like that. But that doesn't matter now, I got it under control, the buds developed perfectly but the leafs are damaged by the tips. So it's not the most beautiful plant overall but the buds are very marvelous. They have a rather unique shape, like a pyramid but with an almost flat head? And their purple hue is just breathtaking. It's a very pinkish purple which I haven't seen by myself until now. I am very happy with this genetic in that regard. But let's see how the buds really turn out. I am aiming for a 10-14 day drying period. With 55% humidty during the first 24-48h with 19 °C. I will rise the humidty to 60 % after that period until the end. In that way, I want to make sure that the critical moisture gets out in the first 1-2 days but after that it should be a very, very slow drying to preserve as much cannabinoids and terpenes as possible. Germinated some seeds from a bag. Not sure if the grower just accidentally pollinated his flower room or if the plants will have hermy genetics /: Either way I've always wanted to grow and currently in a good situation to do so. Once the seeds popped I started doing a ton of research but the plants were moving quicker than I could possibly get up to speed so kinda winging it at this point. I have some good seeds on the way so treating these as "warm-ups" and will be experimenting with different types of training and hopefully just getting the basics under my belt. The largest plant (Big Mumma) popped her roots out the jiffy bag before the end of wk 1 so I pulled off the netting and transplanted her into a 5L fabric pot with Canna Coco mixed w/ 30% perlite. At this point I'm watering with rainwater and mixing with the recommended dose of Professors Go Green (guy at the hydro store recommended I use it as cal-mag). I do not have a way to measure the EC or PH as I'm waiting for my meters to arrive. The tent arrived by the end of the week and I got it setup and transplanted the rest of the girls.

Well not alot to report this week guys. The gals have been responding well to the 600w, the vertical height has stopped and we are just making some fat juicy buds. All the colas are really starting to develop. The very first few pistols are turning orange. Guessing we have around 3 weeks to go. The microscope is out and ready but trichomes still all glass like. Working on getting a camera with a good zoom hopefully I get one in time if not will be able to upload trichome pictures in future grows. Have been keeping the feeds at 2.7ml this week and will be 2.2ml next week until the flush period. I will upload the complete feed schedule I have done with these plants on the harvest week upload. Can see the leaves showing signs of deficiencies still but guess this is good at this stage and makes sense with the tapering off of nutes. Noticed the cool air was condensing on the intake tube and that is the reason our back right plant has a few burnt leaves etc, drops of water have been dropping on it and frying the leaf under the light. When you rub the flowers and smell your fingers get a lovely minty/chocolaty sweet kind of smell, its absolutely incredible and makes me want to smoke these juicy buds even more no... but good things come to those who wait they say! The two blueberry autos are coming along great! They are just now starting to fade out but trichomes for the most part are still clear and cloudy. I’m guessing these girls will be ready in about 1-2.5weeks! When I open the door I get a really pleasant burst of a fruity cereal type smell. It’s comparable to something like crunch berries or as other growers have noticed fruity pebbles 🍓🥣 Right now I’m just feeding the girls spring water, with a little bit of Alaska humus (around 15ml/5L), molasses, fish sh!t and great white. I let this aerate for around 12-36hr. Unfortunately while moving the pot one of the branches snapped under its own weight. The entire plant needs to be supported now as it’s leaning a good amount from the weight being packed on!

The second week of flowering has come to an end. This week also included Mary Jane, which was as much fun as ever and a welcome break before getting back to the daily routine in the grow room. The weather was quite rainy throughout the week, making it a challenge to keep the relative humidity below 60%. Fortunately, this is not a major concern at this stage of flowering, but I will continue to monitor it closely as the buds begin to develop and the risk of mold gradually increases. The feeding schedule remains unchanged. I continue to apply Bio Enhancer every two weeks, along with a weekly dose of Cal-Mag to support healthy growth. Whether the exceptional vigor is the result of the worm humus I incorporated during Week 5 of the vegetative stage or simply the genetics of these cultivars, the plants have been growing explosively. Their response has been outstanding, and the canopy has now filled approximately 85–90% of the available space. Gelato remains slightly smaller than the other plants, but she continues to develop healthy bud sites throughout the canopy. Although she is less vigorous in terms of stretch, she appears to be thriving in her own way and keeping pace where it matters most. Overall, everything is progressing exactly as hoped. The plants look healthy, the canopy is nearly full, and the garden is well positioned for the weeks ahead as flower development begins to accelerate.

- Week 2 of veg The humidity was way to low ( 38%) I set up my humidifier from spider farmer and put it on 70%. I also put them in 11.6 L Rootmaxx pots. Tomorrow i will give the lady's some grow nutrients and b12 for the first time, and will begin on an ec of 1.1

Que dire mise à part que se strain est tous simplement magnifique ? Il porte bien son nom, il commence à être bien Frosty! Et la couleur violet commence à apparaître de plus en plus! Les bud sont beau et dégagent une belle odeur fruité, le plant a une sacré couverture résineuse, je pense qu’elle pourrais être parfaite pour faire des extraction! Cette semaine je lui ai donné un thé de compost oxygéné, on va voir comment elle va réagir. Recette du tco pour 20 litres. (Grammes : gr) 50gr biochar 250gr zéolite 3gr granulé Micro-Organisme IT45 10gr pollen d’abeilles 10gr levure de bière 3gr endomychorize 10gr consoude 20gr vers de farine 10gr cendre coque de ricin 12gr ortie microniser 15gr Kelp 10gr spiruline 10gr de cbd living soil 20ml de miel liquide 30ml de mélasse 20ml d’acide humiques et fluvic Mettre tous les ingrédients (sauf la mélasse ,l’acide h/f et le miel) dans un filtre 400micron, le placer dans un seau avec de l’eau (10litres). Rajoutez le miel et 10ml de mélasse Y mettre un micro bulleur alimenter sur une pompe à air et faire oxygéné le mélange pendant 24h. Rajout de 10ml de mélasse après 12h le début de la mise en route de la pompe. A la fin des 24h rajoutez le restant de mélasse et d’acide h/f, mettez y en plus 10litres d’eau au mélange. Reste plus qu’à arroser! Pour la Frosty j’y ai incorporé 7litre de mélange La veille j’ai préparé le pot à l’arrosage avec 500ml d’eau et 2gr de Bacillus IT35 Amyloliquefaciens X5 Bacillus Amyloliquefaciens : rhyzosphère, probiotiques. Aspersion et arrosage. Utilisable pour toutes cultures. La bactérie Bacillus Amyloliquefaciens se fixe dans la rhizosphère en se nourrissant des exsudats racinaires. En contrepartie, elle stimule la croissance racinaire en sécrétant des métabolites de croissance et solubilise le phosphore en sécrétant des phytases (enzymes). Week six is where things really start to accelerate. The buds are now developing rapidly, and you can almost see them gaining size day by day. What stood out before as “early formation” has now clearly shifted into real bud growth. These ladies are not holding back. At the same time, the differences between the two phenotypes are becoming even more pronounced — not just in structure, but now also in aroma. The smaller pheno on the right is developing a surprisingly sweet and unique scent. It’s a mix of raspberry and something slightly rubbery — an unusual combination, but very intriguing. The larger pheno on the left leans more towards a sweet citrus profile, layered with earthy undertones. A completely different expression, and exactly why growing from seed can be so rewarding. This week also called for some intervention. The plants were already getting dangerously close to the top of the G-tools cabinet, so defoliation became necessary to open things up and improve airflow. On top of that, I had to supercrop a few of the tallest shoots to keep the canopy under control. What really impressed me is how resilient these plants are. Compared to the Erdbeer I grew last winter — which showed light stress fairly quickly — these ladies seem to say: “bring it on.” They’re absorbing the light as if it can’t be intense enough. And it shows. The buds are stacking at an above-average pace and are already getting quite thick — and we’re still a few weeks away from the finish line. If they continue like this, this is going to be a very interesting run 🌿🔥
