Hello grow friends, Today is the start of Week 7 and it‘s day 40 of groth for the plants. It‘s safe to say, they transitioned nicely into flower and spread evenly throughout the tent. It was pretty time consuming to get enough light to the lower branches but it seemes to be paying off. At the start of next week, I have a heavy defolition planed so at day 21 of flower most of the fanleaves will be cut off. This will help tremendously with the high humidity i‘m dealing with. Somehow I still manage to get it down but I still have a job to go to and not much time to devote. Anyways, c you soon guys and have a great start to the week. 🤟🏼

Welcome back, fellow growers, to the next chapter of my Medusa F1 adventure! We're now in week 9 from seed and week 5 of flowering, and boy, oh boy, things have taken a colorful turn in my garden. The buds on my Medusa are showing off a mesmerizing range of hues, with shades ranging from pink to purple, adorned with hints of red and green. It's a botanical masterpiece that feels like walking through a vibrant artist's palette! Now, let's dive into a fascinating aspect of the final weeks: stopping the feedings. As we approach the grand finale, I've decided to halt all nutrient supplements. Why, you ask? Well, it's like preparing for a fancy dinner party. Just like we ease up on appetizers before the main course, withholding additional nutrients allows the plant to focus its energy on ripening those gorgeous buds to perfection. It's like providing a VIP treatment, pampering the flowers as they reach their peak potency. Speaking of peak, I must admit, I've become quite the trichome enthusiast. Every day, I examine those tiny resinous structures, observing their development with a level of dedication that might make my Medusa think I'm an extraterrestrial trichome investigator. But hey, it's all worth it when you witness those trichomes shimmering like a galaxy of sparkling diamonds! A big shoutout to Royal Queen Seeds for providing us with these incredible genetics. The Medusa F1 has truly been a joy to cultivate, showcasing its genetic prowess in every stage. Thank you, Royal Queen Seeds, for making our growing journeys magical! Stay tuned for the thrilling conclusion of my Medusa F1 adventure. Until then, keep nurturing your green beauties, embrace the kaleidoscope of cannabis colors, and enjoy the wonders of nature's botanical artistry. May your harvests be abundant and your experiences with Royal Queen Seeds continue to exceed expectations. Happy growing, my fellow green-thumb comrades! As always thank you all for stopping by and for supporting me on this journey, i am super passion about growing and fell blessed to have you all with me on this new journey <3 <3 <3 Genetics - RQS MEDUSA F1 Ligth - LUMATEK ZEUS 465 COMPACT PRO

She boasts uniform grow traits, mouthwatering aromas and flavours, and plenty of potency. If you're looking to bring stable, elongated plants into your room, tent, or garden, look no further. Mouthwatering Aromas, High Potency, and Mid-Size Plants Though she won't turn you to stone like the mythical goddess after which she's named, Medusa F1 is bound to get you plenty stoned in her own special way. Combining genetics from inbred lines deriving from Sugar Magnolia, a thick and sweet indica, and American Beauty, a fast, fruity hybrid loved for its well-balanced, positive high, the result is an autoflowering F1 variety that produces fresh flavours, a unique cannabinoid profile, and large yields. A very aromatic cultivar with a vibrant concentration of terpenes bearing notes of fresh mint alongside an upfront peppery kick, backed up by hints of fresh fruit, berries, and tangy fuel. Her thick, frosty flowers consistently produce high levels of THC and CBG, as well as high concentrations of myrcene, ocimene, farnesene, and caryophyllene. As a result, Medusa F1 has strong effects that relax and stone the body from head to toe (brought on by particularly high concentrations of myrcene and farnesene) while motivating the mind with an uplifting, creative, and motivating kick (thanks to high concentrations of ocimene). Medusa F1 seeds produce elongated autoflowering plants with long, strong branches and well-spaced internodes. Plants regularly grow up to 80–85cm tall and boast a fast flowering time of just 42–45 days (72 days from germination to harvest). Thanks to her genetics, Medusa F1 produces plenty of thick flowers with big, swollen calyxes that make for very easy trimming. Medusa F1 is very stable, handling stress and unfavourable growing conditions with ease, though she is somewhat susceptible to Botrytis, so make sure to keep tabs on the humidity in your grow room/garden

They look pretty good again. Two of them are smaller and less advanced cause they got stress due to some burnt leaves and stress techniques, I hope they recover and start growing and fattening again I'm watering twice a week, once with nutrients and once without, just ph regulated plain water Very happy! No plagues or anything so far...

🌱 Nectar Drip Update Week 8 from Seed · Week 2 Flower (12/12 from seed) Quick recap for anyone joining us now: This run is a 12/12 from seed experiment, meaning each plant chose on its own when to enter flower. Because of that, flower timing is not perfectly synchronized — and that’s an important part of this grow and of the decisions we’re making. We’re working with an exclusive collaborative genetic pack, not commercially available anymore, bred for stability, vigor, and resilience. What you see here is a real-world expression of those genetics, grown without chasing trends or hype — just observation, patience, and consistency. ⸻ 🌡️ Environment & Feeding (Why We Changed Nothing) This week, we deliberately changed nothing. • Day temperature: ~28 °C • Relative Humidity: ~65% • EC: 2.4 • pH: 6.5 • Plant height: ~40 cm to ~80 cm • Lighting: LED Many growers would say these temperatures are “too high for flower,” but context matters. Under LED lighting, leaf surface temperature typically runs 2–4 °C cooler than room temperature. Because of that, we focus on leaf VPD, not room VPD. The plant is what matters — not the number on the wall. We are not chasing numbers. We are paying attention to them. The plants are responding perfectly: • Lush, deep green foliage • No signs of stress • Strong internodal structure • Uniform uptake across different phenotypes When the plant is happy, stability beats adjustment. That’s why the nutrient recipe stayed exactly the same. ⸻ ✂️ Defoliation — Why This Week, Why This Way This week marked an important decision. Normally, defoliation would happen around day 21 of flower. But in a 12/12-from-seed run, there is no universal day 21. Each plant entered flower on its own schedule. The room was getting dense. Airflow was being restricted. Light penetration was becoming uneven. So we listened to the plants — not the calendar. We opened the canopy, improved airflow, and allowed the plants to: • Breathe better • Receive more uniform light • Push growth upward instead of inward We’ll be honest: 👉 We went harder than planned. But it was a conscious decision, not an emotional one. Leaves removed were healthy — not sick — which tells us the plant had energy to spare. The remaining structure is strong, clean, and well-shaped. ⸻ 🛠️ Training & Recovery • Structural branches previously damaged were taped last week • All repaired nodes bounced back perfectly • Plastic clips are still being used dynamically — on and off — to guide shape, not force it This tells us everything we need to know about the genetics: stable, resilient, forgiving, and strong. ⸻ 🔮 What We Expect Next After a hard defoliation, plants tell the truth quickly. What we expect: • Fast rebound • Vertical push toward the light • Strong flower site development • Clean airflow through the canopy If they slow down, we listen. If they explode, we let them run. So far, these girls are behaving like champions. ⸻ ❤️ Final Words & Gratitude To everyone reading this — the supporters, the critics, the silent observers: You all have a place here. Growth doesn’t happen without contrast. Learning doesn’t happen without mistakes. And progress doesn’t happen without conversation. Thank you to: • The platform • The OGs • The new followers • The sponsors • The lovers and the haters We treat everyone the same. Criticism is welcome. Questions are encouraged. With true love comes happiness. Always believe in yourself, and always do things expecting nothing and with an open heart. Be a giver, and the universe will give back in ways you could never imagine. 💚 Growers love to all 💚 📸 P.S. – The Eye Behind the Lens All photos in this diary (for now — except for the ones showing the camera, which I took with an iPhone) are taken with a Sony A6700 paired with a Sony full-frame macro lens and a few more. Photography is part of the story — it’s how we share the fine textures, the glow, and the quiet details that words can’t always capture. I’ve also started experimenting with photo stacking — a technique where multiple images, each taken at a slightly different focus point, are layered together to create one perfectly sharp image from front to back. It’s not digital enhancement or AI; it’s pure photography — a way to reveal the plant’s beauty in microscopic depth, from trichome to petal. You’ll even see a few shots of "ghost me" capturing the shots — camera, lens, setup — because every grow deserves not just to be cultivated, but documented like art. Plants are doing way better then any grow I've done in the past. Trying something because of what I seen on growboss, I defoliated the blueberry but didn't Defoliate the stone cold diesel he states I will get more dense nuggets on the the plant I don't Defoliate so let's see what happens, so far the blueberry started budding way faster.

Flowering looks awesome on the ChemDog! Lots of bud sites and they're growing at a respectable rate. ATF's are running 3 plants in 3 diff stages- one's a couple weeks into flower, one's just starting, and one's still the holdout. Meanwhile, I've got flowering on the Night Nurse and one of the Viper Cookies. The rest are close but I can't say for sure they've transitioned. Weather's getting into a hot and humid phase, gotta watch that ChemDog. Think it's got a decent structure for ventilation but I've read horror stories on how the Dog loves mold. Further training of the branches has been fruitful, I'm seeing a lot more topside bud sites than usual. I'm working on irrigation-- I set up a 30 gal container and it works for drip, but without a pipe system it's still one at a time, although I have to admit it's worth it to save my back. Plus, I have to have a supply ready for use in case my buddy needs to fill in for me and water the ladies. Been checking the cameras regularly ( I have them all throughout the property, game cameras with IR flash), and to date haven't seen anything that would constitute a threat. Just some curious raccoons and one really ugly opossum. Even the skunks don't bother them this year, which is nice but a little strange considering they dig in them every year. It's really just the animals I'm watching for, people aren't as much of a concern. Mostly because I don't know any. Aside from that, I sleep with my head feet away from my babies, so somebody would have to have big brass ones to even try. Yes, I know, a little overprotective. Fingers crossed it'll be one hell of a harvest (by my standards). 8/11 Update: Been lucky still with the weather, but it's turning really humid. Fed the girls this morning, a mix of 1C molasses and 1/2C epsom salt in 20 gallons. Just a little supplement to the tiger bloom they've been feasting on. Speaking of the Tiger Bloom, I can't help but think I'd do just as well mixing my own nutrient solution, since the cost really adds up quick. For his year, however, it'll be fine. My watering gizmo is working well, just leaks a tiny bit and that's fine for the remainder of the year. Now that I have an idea of what works for me I can spend the off-season setting up something right. Had to thin out the Lamb's a bit, it wasn't getting anywhere near enough air flow. Also took a few on the ChemDog as I'm expecting mold/rot conditions for a while and she's prone. Shouldn't have much problem, wind blows almost constantly here, but you can never be too careful. Training is taking well, overall they look pretty good. Next year-- bigger grow bags, better soil, and much pickier seed choices. I think I may even abandon the idea of topping them in the future-- it just slows them down and you can get the same end results with training. Granted, my ladies are kinda sparse and ugly, but that's the learning curve. Next time around I think I have a pretty good idea of what to do and when to do it, based on what worked and didn't work this year. Another big thing is nutrient timing-- I def jumped the gun on flower power for a few of them and it just stunted them wicked-- shoulda continued veg food a couple weeks into flower even for the early bloomer, she'd be a monster.

Good week in the tent 👌 only given ph'd water again. Been a lot warmer so been good for the girls in the then but not so good for some seedlings I had going on my window. Every day now seeing more growth the original Russian is the furthest along. Kind of surprised about this because i was expecting #Quick one to be the fastest out of the lot. Not the case for me here at the minute. Excited for the next few weeks to see what different strains start looking like smelling like all that jazz! Hoping for a couple of oz all together. A few different flavours not expecting any monster yield here. Took a pic of each individual plant all are quite small. Seem to have 4 I'd class as big girls for my space. Six shooter, zkittles og, missile 33 and cosh kush are all nice little bushy plants. The white widow and the Rusian are nice as well maybe if I had positioned them differently in the tent it could all have been different who knows. Peace 🍁
