Man how great is my Medusa F1 from Royal Queen Seeds, She is really taking off in the second week of flowering. I mean, have you seen the fruit formation on this girl? She's going to be a real beast! And I can't forget to give a big shoutout to Royal Queen Seeds for sponsoring my journey - their seeds are top-notch and I'm grateful for their support. By the way, have you heard of the "Medusa's Gaze" cocktail? Yeah, it's named after the infamous head of snakes and apparently it's quite potent. But enough about drinks, let's talk about the plant! During this stage, it's important to make sure my Medusa is getting all the nutrients, light, and water she needs to keep growing strong. I'm keeping a close eye on her progress and making adjustments as necessary to ensure she stays healthy and happy, for this i trust no one but Aptus Holland and the magic only they know how to do <3 <3 <3 Overall, growing Medusa F1 is turning out to be an amazing experience, and I can't wait to see how she does in the coming weeks. As always thank you all for stopping by and for supporting me on this journey, i am super passion about growing and fell blessed to have you all with me on this new journey <3 <3 <3 Genetics - RQS MEDUSA F1 Ligth - LUMATEK ZEUS 465 COMPACT PRO

She boasts uniform grow traits, mouthwatering aromas and flavours, and plenty of potency. If you're looking to bring stable, elongated plants into your room, tent, or garden, look no further. Mouthwatering Aromas, High Potency, and Mid-Size Plants Though she won't turn you to stone like the mythical goddess after which she's named, Medusa F1 is bound to get you plenty stoned in her own special way. Combining genetics from inbred lines deriving from Sugar Magnolia, a thick and sweet indica, and American Beauty, a fast, fruity hybrid loved for its well-balanced, positive high, the result is an autoflowering F1 variety that produces fresh flavours, a unique cannabinoid profile, and large yields. A very aromatic cultivar with a vibrant concentration of terpenes bearing notes of fresh mint alongside an upfront peppery kick, backed up by hints of fresh fruit, berries, and tangy fuel. Her thick, frosty flowers consistently produce high levels of THC and CBG, as well as high concentrations of myrcene, ocimene, farnesene, and caryophyllene. As a result, Medusa F1 has strong effects that relax and stone the body from head to toe (brought on by particularly high concentrations of myrcene and farnesene) while motivating the mind with an uplifting, creative, and motivating kick (thanks to high concentrations of ocimene). Medusa F1 seeds produce elongated autoflowering plants with long, strong branches and well-spaced internodes. Plants regularly grow up to 80–85cm tall and boast a fast flowering time of just 42–45 days (72 days from germination to harvest). Thanks to her genetics, Medusa F1 produces plenty of thick flowers with big, swollen calyxes that make for very easy trimming. Medusa F1 is very stable, handling stress and unfavourable growing conditions with ease, though she is somewhat susceptible to Botrytis, so make sure to keep tabs on the humidity in your grow room/garden

Some of you may have wondered: Why do I use CO2 at average 950 ppfd μmol/m2/s (moral flow)? The answer is quite simple. Because of lack of space in some regions of my cultivation area, I simply cannot keep the ideal distance to my Sanlight high-performance lamp, due to some height growth of various strains. And so some of the main colas have ppfd values of 1250 μmol/m2/s and even more... So this is how I manage to achieve and compensate for such high radiation levels even with a CO 2 balance. And I have to say, my strategy to avoid various light stress symptoms works just fabulously. In combination with CO 2 implementation, my babies are simply unbeatably insensitive to light. Thats it! Beginning of 3rd week flowering: Again feeding my babies by 36 hours fermented potions of Bio Tabs Kompost Tea PK-Booster (15 g pro Liter) and added: 5ml Orgatrex/Liter 1 Spoon of Bactrex 1 Spoon of Mycotrex 1 Spoon of Mycco-Vital 1 Spoon of Dynomyco A little tip for those who are interested in small modifications that have a big difference or influence - on the result - effect - beauty - health - taste! Before adding microorganisms or beneficial bacteria or Mycorrizae and Trichodermas, please use oxygen-saturated water. On the one hand, unwanted chlorine gases evaporate and the small world of the microbiome becomes even faster and more rewarding in compost tea to sprout. Last but not least for this week, I would like to introduce my reasons, why I prefer growing biologically and sustainably. First of all, it’s something which suits very well in these times/days we are living now. Sustainability is a big need and task for our planet. 🌎 Nature means life. Our home, the air we breathe and everything that surrounds us. Not just today. Hopefully tomorrow as well. Maybe I'm starting to protect our environment on a small scale, but maybe I can also make a big difference at all. If you change the way you look at things, the things you look at change... I thought about what’s the difference, between Mineral Feeding and Super Soil Feeding. It’s very easy. Biologically Growing is a similar process than the natural soil activities out there in the lap of nature’s. So plants has to work and interact with the microorganisms and microbiomic communities in the soil. So the plants will never get lazy like the lazy ones of mineral feeding growers. If you grow biologically, you will feed the soil first and the microorganisms will support every parameter next to your plant conditions. And that will generate an unbelievable spectrum of Terpenes and Trichomes you will never forget. It’s the same comparison, when you daily visit McDonalds and you eat only fast food. How does your body and mind react on this shit for money?!?! May I invite you to think about it… See you next week dear Growmies! Have a nice Weekend and take care… Peace out! Addendum for Day 53: At the moment we unfortunately have another winter onset here in Germany. This means that I am forced to take additional heating measures due to structural facts in order to be able to keep the temperatures constant. After all, just tonight the thermometer climbs again to -1 degree Celsius. In addition, my exhaust air system runs out of my bedroom terrace and I therefore grow winter and summer with the patio door open. Well, sometimes I experience real weather-related challenges. But all in all, no problem... "Where there's a will, there's a way." Addendum to pouring out the fermented PK tea: I always administer half a liter of lukewarm aerated water with 3.5 ml of cannazyme per liter to each plant. This means that the "root machine" is not supplied with supplies unprepared and the nutrient solution can thus also be better distributed in the soil. Since I also work with cloth shoes, I spray them evenly moistened everywhere with water that is also warm before pouring them out from the outside. This has the advantage that the moisture stays where it should: in the pot! ... I did the math today ;-) We are still in week 7 until this Friday. And week 8 starts on Friday! OMG... still so much time yeahh! Today my Fast Buds Sour Jealousy and Sweet Seeds Big Devil and Dark Devil Automatics arrived. I'm looking forward to it. This time Fast Buds next Time Sweet Seeds. Love them too. Very beautiful genetics. Today a review video of the beginning of week 3. At the time of the pictures, I had minor signs of nitrogen excess. (Light peaks first at the crown of the roof and then slightly continuing to the middle section.) I then painstakingly racked my brains as to why this could be. I found that very slight dry spots had formed and therefore the root found small accumulations of nitrogen that caused its problems. But then, when I carefully homogeneously checked the moisture content in the substrate, the problem evaporated again. However, they had not shown any loss of growth rate during this time. Nevertheless, they developed as expected. They Strawnanas had no problem with that. In the end, I always have a hard time killing them. But I guess that's the way things go. We live and die. We come and go. But it's not there yet. ;-) Tomorrow is day 56. Tomorrow’s updating day! Can't wait to see their progress. Have a good time and see you tomorrow… 🏽🕊️ 🏽 ☮️🕊️

Nothing too crazy to report from this week; her smell is potent and shes covered in trichomes. Touching the plant covers my hands and arms in sticky resin-like glue. 😁😁 I am very happy with the state of my secret garden. Considering this is the first shot; the internet and others in the grow diaries community have really put me onto the right course. Thanks! Ive been defoliation both plants as and when needed and from the trim i have been making cannabutter for baking :) Ive also taken some pics in the dark to highlight the trichome production :):) RQS northern lights has had a better start than QO and its really starting to show; she's overtaking QO and just starting to flower now... she is massive! Far far bigger than I was expecting. Shes almost 80cmx80cm in canopy area. Similar nutrient mix used as last week barring the change to 15ml/10L of PK13/14 from 10ml/10L 40ml/10L of a+b 15ml/10L of PK13/14 1 drop of superthrive ph ~6 ppm ~1150

Hey Grow Diaries fam, We’ve reached Week 12, which marks Week 8 of flowering, and our PCRs are entering the final stretch! This is a crucial time in our grow, and we've made some significant changes to our routine to ensure the best possible finish for our beloved plants. Overview Our PCRs are looking absolutely stunning, with buds swelling to their full potential and trichomes sparkling like diamonds. This week, we’ve shifted our focus to flushing and preparing the soil for future use. Environment and Conditions Tent: 3x3, kept clean and efficient for optimal growing conditions. Lighting: ViparSpectra P2000, still providing the perfect spectrum as we approach harvest. Watering: TDS at 130, pH 6.8, and water temperature at 21°C, a significant shift from our previous nutrient-rich regimen. Nutrient Regimen This week, we’ve stopped all nutrient feedings and switched to using Aptus Holland Enzym+ exclusively. Here’s why: Aptus Holland Enzym+: This enzyme product is designed to break down dead root material and organic matter, converting it into usable nutrients for the plant. This process helps in: Clearing Residual Nutrients: Ensuring that the plants use up any remaining nutrients in the soil. Improving Soil Health: Enhancing the soil's microbial life, which is crucial for future grows. Promoting Clean Finish: Helping to ensure a smoother, cleaner taste in the final product by reducing excess nutrients and salts in the buds. The shift to Enzym+ at this stage is about preparing the plants for harvest and also ensuring that the soil can be reused effectively. Growth and Development The PCRs are in their final flowering phase, and they look incredible. With the nutrients now being flushed out, we’re focusing on maximizing the quality of the final buds. The leaves are starting to fade, signaling that the plants are using up their stored nutrients, which is exactly what we want to see at this stage. Soil Reuse One of the key advantages of using Aptus Holland products, especially Enzym+, is the ability to reuse the soil. Here’s how we do it: Soil Conditioning: The enzymes break down organic matter, improving soil structure and fertility. Microbial Boost: Enhances microbial activity, which is essential for nutrient cycling and soil health. Cost-Effective: Reusing soil reduces costs and minimizes waste, making our grow more sustainable. By reusing the soil, we ensure that our next grow starts with a rich, healthy medium, full of beneficial microbes and ready to support another batch of robust plants. Reflections This week has been all about transitioning our plants from heavy feeding to a clean finish. The Aptus Holland Enzym+ is doing its job beautifully, and the PCRs are responding well. The reduced TDS and adjusted pH are ensuring that we’re flushing out any residual nutrients, setting us up for a top-notch harvest. Shout Outs A huge shout out to: Aptus Holland: Your products make every stage of this grow a success. Enzym+ is a game-changer! Art Genetix: The PCRs continue to impress with their vigor and quality. Grow Diaries Community: Your support and advice are invaluable. Here’s to another fantastic week of growing! Stay positive, keep those good vibes flowing, and let’s get ready for a bountiful harvest. Day 99 - Finally got to chop a plant! Chopped the cheese, did a rough wet trim and hung it all in my diy drying chamber (see video above). I knew I was going to be chopping one before the other, so I threw together a cheap unit out of a garment box I bought from a moving company. -It came with a cross bar, so I cut the box and re-taped it the way I wanted it, to conceal everything proper. -Then, I drilled some holes in the sides for ventilation and taped some carbon filter from my air purifier overtop to keep pests and dust out. -Outside of the box, I've got a Coway air purifier pulling out the smell and adding a bit of air circulation (pulls air passively through the vents in the sides) . -For added flair 😉, I threw some velcro on the flaps and built a thermometer/hygrometer into the front to keep an easy watch. They will hang from some clip hangers I grabbed, for a week or so, or until they're ready. Then I'll do a dry trim and time to cure! Super Lemon Haze is still plugging along and getting dense. Smells great, and although the leaves show a past of issues, the buds are looking amazing. Can't wait 'till she's done! It's really nice to have the extra space in the tent now too. It was getting a little cramped. Day 105 - Cheese is doing well in the drying tent. Stems aren't snapping quite yet, so will need a day or two more. Drying chamber is working great. No smell whatsoever. Super Lemon Haze is STILL GOING and looking good. Done with nutes now and watching trichs everyday. Buds are beefing up. The leaves are starting to fade, but the look and colour of the flowers is wild. Can't wait for it to finish up. Should be sometime in the next week or so. Will post a final harvest for the cheese soon! Thanks for stopping by! 🥦
