Still a few weeks for this girl. There are the first signs of orange hairs on her buds. I've cleared excess leaves below the canopy and any buds that are to small to be worth her or my effort, I'd rather she plumped and fattened up what buds she already has. I've also chopped away and widen her spread total any blocking of "worth the effort" buds. Supercropping has paid off, giving more room and of course, no effect to the girl whatsoever.

Sep 20: Lemon Cream Kush smells great and the buds are looking really nice. Nice big and hard buds covered in white trichomes. Life is good. Did a second flush as the buds need another week and I like how the first flush went. Otherwise just pHed water. Sep 24: removed some more fan leaves to let more light onto the ripening buds. She has picked up some nice frosting in the last few days and smells really great. Will likely keep going as long as the weather is good. Maybe three more weeks at most. Sep 25: harvested the tops. Maybe a bit early but today was a good day to do it before 3-4 days with cool rainy weather. Put 310 g into freezer and 1040 g in the washing machine. Total 1350 g wet buds harvested is equivalent to 340 g dried. There is still a lot on the plant to leave for another couple of weeks, and she will be well over a pound dried weight. Hashwashing recovered 56 g of beautiful light tan coloured wet resin.

Needed some support her leaves are heavier than the main stem can support. She was popped a week behind the others but keeping up nicely. Transplanted into a 3 gallon with all nutrients mentioned above. Cheers!

Due to prolonged bad weather, I decided to harvest them to avoid mold and other damage. There were three of us, and it took around 6 hours to trim about 80% of both plants. I ended up with a yield of 205 grams dry per plant. I'm more than satisfied with the plants. For my first grow, I couldn't be happier.

Welcome back to another week, finally decided to flip to flower as these girls do grow pretty quickly in DWC. Aiming for some nice quality buds bit also a decent yield of at least 1 gram per watt of light. Nutrient solution has not been changing to complete flower schedule yet but I will be sure to switch it over in a few days. The crucial part now is keeping the EC and pH in a good range to avoid any deficiencies or Nutrient lock out. Let's see what the stretch brings the first few weeks. Stay tuned, and I'll be back for the by the end of the week to report some video feedback. End of the week has ending with a heavy defoliation session. Plants were getting bushy and covering potential tops so that needed to be addressed. For now, it will be selective defoliation once they have recovered, which should be in 2/3 days. Not an overly impressive strain and I would say she was not that hard to grow. If I even grew this one again I would let it go naturally with some LST. Wanted more grape flavours but they don't really come through in the smoke. There's a bit of a sharp fruity smell that's sort of piney with a hint of fuel at the end. The smoke is not too flavourful in my opinion but that just means I didn't grow it well. Super tight nugs so be careful with humidity as stated above. Also she's a bit of a light feeder so be careful with your nutes. As you can see I burnt her tips and over fed her a lot. Not a bad yield though! I've only really smoked the lowers on this one so far so that gave me a bit of a racey high, just slightly racey. I would accredit that to the lowers not being mature enough at chop. The plant is super dense and since I mainlined it the lowers didn't receive enough light. I tried to let the lowers mature more but the plant stopped maturing when I chopped the tops, this caused stress and the plant just shut down basically. Not sure if I would grow Blimburn's GDP again until I grow the real GDP.

10/20/2020 Starting week 4 of flower the top dress I did should be kicking in this week, watering once a week till 5-10% run off.

Buds stacking up nicely. Did some overdue trimming/defoliation to help with light and airflow. They are some thirsty girls. Looks like I've got all 3 phenotypes of this strain represented: short and bushy, thin and wispy, and Original Recipe. I'm not sure which is which. Meh. I'm optimistic regardless.
