Hey everyone,
after a little break, I'm back – not just from vacation, but also back in the grow routine. 🌿😎
I may have spent less time on Growdiaries lately, but I never gave up our beloved hobby! Right now, I have two FastBuds Photos going, and especially the Papaya Sherbet has really impressed me so far. So here's a short video and some info about it. I hope you’re having similar success, my grow buddies. 👽
Both are resilient, healthy, and just look beautiful – they never show stress, pure vitality, grow like champions, and look the part!💪
The flowering was already initiated on day 22.
My current run – simple but effective:
Living Soil – low maintenance, just add water - it runs like clockwork
10% Flo and a decent substrate
Result: Healthy plants with minimal effort.
I can really recommend this method if you have little time but still want top results.
Terp 😎💪
Lemon Mandarin
THC: 25 – 30 %
Genetics: Lemonade x Mandarine (Crockett’s Tangie Selection)
Gender: Feminized
This strain is for lovers of everything big. Lemon Mandarin is the result of our work, where we crossed two delicious citrus strains: our keeper Lemonade Cut and Tangie (Crockett's Family Farms selection). We made sure it combines the best traits of its parents, such as an euphoric, uplifting effect, insane trichome production, and a bittersweet, citrusy terpene profile. Lemon Mandarin is ideal for lovers of giant trees and XXL yields: it can reach heights of up to 200 cm while exhibiting extreme resilience and many side branches. Its aroma is a perfect blend of Tangie, lemon zest, and the soothing sweetness of ripe mandarins, enveloping the senses in a deeply sharp mandarin-lemon scent that lingers long after smoking. It’s perfect for both indoor and outdoor growing, and its impressive growth and aromatic appeal make it ideal for growers looking for a truly outstanding strain with a complex citrus aroma. Based on our experience, we recommend doing Scrogging or some other type of support, as the branches may not be able to carry the weight of the buds. Indoors, to achieve maximum yield per plant, you shouldn’t plant more than 2-3 plants per square meter, as this strain becomes very bushy. It could also benefit from more frequent defoliation, as it develops many large, broad fan leaves and may need help with ventilation later in the flowering phase.
Papaya Sherbet
THC: 25 – 30 %
Genetics: Papaya (Oni Selection) x Sunset Sherbet
Gender: Feminized
By combining the massive stature of Papaya (Oni Selection) with the strength and resilience of one of our best keeper strains (Sunset Sherbet), this strain develops into a large, sprawling bush adorned with numerous buds that later turn into a generous harvest of medium-sized buds. The flowers of Papaya Sherbet deliver a signature taste of top-quality cannabis with subtle citrus undertones that come through when inhaled. During growth, its aroma exudes a sweet yet pleasantly bitter scent, giving a hint of how the smoke will taste. Papaya Sherbet is remarkably stress-resistant and a good choice for growers working in challenging environments. It is very forgiving and recovers quickly from any adversities, giving growers the freedom to experiment with the assurance that it will handle everything like a champion. This strain embodies resilience, flavor, and lush yields in every growth cycle.

Day 53 - Week 8 Day 4
Hello Growmies,
we're in week 8 overall and flowering week 4!
The buds are forming and the trichomes are slowly starting to show. The ladies are doing great.
Everything is on track - still just water, light, and love.
I'll probably brew a compost tea towards the end of the week. Maybe I'll show you how I do that.
Otherwise, Living Soil á la Chef von Flo is running on its own.
See you soon. I'll definitely drop a video as an update this week.

Day 63 - End of Flowering Week 5
Nothing big here. The ladies are blooming happily and cheerfully.
The buds are forming, and especially the Papaya Sherbet is looking really good. It smells wonderful...
so truly bittersweet. Insane 😍
There was a compost tea from Almicanna over the weekend, but unfortunately, I missed making a video of it.
Otherwise, it’s just been water, air, and love.
Until then, Gromies, this time it’ll just be a brief diary. Maybe I’ll make the next one more detailed. But one thing at a time.
See ya

Day 68 - Flowering Week 6
It's going well, I would say. Or what do you think? 💪😎
SANlight EVO 4-80 is running at a stable 95% power and I have 1100 PPFD in the middle. 800 PPFD at the edges and 550 PPFD in the corners.
The environmental conditions are pretty good in the tent, thanks to the optimal weather outside. VPD around 1.6 kPa.
Thank you very much for your visit and sorry again for the short diary. 😇
Enjoy some bud-porn to wrap up the day! 👌
See you soon

Terp1 Everything is on track. I'll give a compost tea one last time this week, and then it's just a matter of waiting until they're ripe for harvest. 👌💪👽
The Papaya is just entering the last phase with the onset of senescence.
There were no problems throughout the entire run. The two ladies have been vibrant and strong from the very beginning!
Good genetics are the foundation for such a good run! Thanks, FastBuds, for your impressive work.
You can't imagine how it smells when I open the tent. 😍
Thanks for stopping by, and see you soon.
Can't wait to blast this stuff into my brain. 😝
See you soon, Terp 💪👽

Terp1 Hey there 😎,
Week 11 is over and the ladies are slowly heading into retirement. And at least the Papaya is already looking that way. 👻
I'm now gradually reducing the water supply and light intensity. I've had around 1000 PPFD in the middle and 850 at the edges, and I'm going back down to 600 PPFD over the next 10 days. I don't know if they'll need much longer. Trichomes are 70% milky and 30% clear. On the sugar leaves, there are already a few amber ones.
I've got myself a 150L wine fridge (see video) that I'm temporarily equipping with a circulation fan and possibly a humidity-controlled exhaust, and then I'll start putting some buds in there for testing. I want Next Level quality and I can hardly get anything more out of this grow. Now the drying needs to be optimized. As a tip, I can tell you that it's best to maintain a VPD of 0.9kPa during drying. No matter what the temperatures are at first. VPD is also super important during drying.
Thanks a lot for stopping by and see you soon (and soon for the harvest)

I'm already looking forward to Budporn. I also wanted to get some photos of Fastbuds for my seed collection. Hopefully, your phenos are frosty and terpy. Good luck, buddy!
I really like that with florganics! What can you recommend more? The nutrient mix you’re currently using or the ready-mix dopesoil? You could give some feedback on that…. Cheers!
@Regenwurm, Yes - Flo is great. 👌
I haven't tried DopeSoil or DopeLight yet. I prefer to mix fresh with Flo nutrients myself every time. My substrate for this run consists of:
60% Canna Bio Terra Plus
15% Canna Coco
15% Worm Humus
10% Flo
I think this will be the mix I stick with. The results are awesome with very little effort throughout the entire run. I water it with pH-regulated water and a bit of TNC Bactorr and let it sit for 10-14 days.
Then I put the plants in, and after that, it's just water and a compost tea every 3-4 weeks. Here and there, I add a bit of mycorrhiza, and you can see the results. 💪😎
@Buffi, Hi Buffi - you mean the fridge? It's a Haier HWS58GGH1. The video was actually made for a buddy who was interested. 😅 But this thing is really great and the only one in the affordable range that also has enough capacity and doesn't have separate climate zones.
