8/30 Rained yesterday and pretty much all night. Plants looked happy this morning. I'm thinking about feeding today or tomorrow. The late flowering special kush doesn't have much longer and it will be done. I'm going to need to do another treatment for the thrips. Nights are so cold that I think they aren't a major problem. No signs of septoria either. No signs of ANY molds or mildew. Even where I took the pillar out but I removed a lot. I am noticing (especially on the pink kush and the special kush in the back) the wierd "top hat" lower buds like I previously did. I don't think it's the chipmunk. It's like they eat fresh buds and leave the top there. I think it might be earwigs but I haven't seen ANY. Birds have been keeping my garden pretty clean. Almost everytime I walk down there it's like a flock of birds takes off lol. I was watching the little finches all perched on my cage. I've seen them dart in and grab a snack. It's pretty cool how it works. Symbiotic relationship. I feed the birds amd they help keep my garden pest free. EDIT: Went to check the girls around 430. It seems like everytime I see the flowers they've swelled in size. Especially the natural mk ultra. Everything is really coming together. Pink kush is behind but it's starting. I'm getting lots of fall colors but I'm losing lots of leaves too. I wouldn't have defoliated as good as I have if I hadn't had problems. I thought the plants were done getting taller or stretching but after this rain they ALL seem taller. The buds are swelling as well. I'm on the home stretch with the early special kush. Few more weeks. Everything looked amazing tonight. I wanted to take some pictures but I left my phone. Smell is greatly increasing. 8/31 I don't get how we got NO rain the ENTIRE summer but it's rained the past few nights? Maines bipolar weather I guess. I see the same shit as prior years. Something crawls up and eats small shoots and developing buds but leaves larger ones alone. I thought it was earwigs before. I'm not sure now. I'll have to go look at night and figure out what's eating shit. It's just small secondary shoots mostly. Stuff I should've pruned but I leave on so the won't eat my fucking colas. I got some work to do but I'm getting closer. 9/1 Well we made it to September. Pink kush is finally STARTING to form little buds. After some research (and watching those fucking locusts try to fly into my cage but can't because they are to fucking big. I was lucky I found that enormous one on the stalk of the furthest special kush right where the tip cola starts. Luckily I was able to get him. Didn't have to take pics or a video or even check if they need water. It rained a little last night and the buds were a little wet. I'm planning to feed when I get back. If they need water I'll give it to them. My early special kush is getting real close. I want to harvest at peak timing but sometimes exigent circumstances screw that up. However i think I'll be able to let this girl finish properly.

7/14: Watered her today. Just plain water. Filled up half gallon jug of water. Filled reservoir back first line. 7/16: Bumped light intensity to 45%. Topped off reservoir at night. 7/18: Watered her today with the the leftovers of some treated water with Rapid Start from her half gallon jug. Prepping for new nutrient schedule next week. I am happy to say it seems like the WCC is responding well to the environment and feeding schedule. So Far So Good!!! 😁 Thinking of possibly starting LST next week. Entering the second week of growing for the Orange Diesel, I am finally relaxing a bit. It was so close to death with it's germination issue, but the "seed surgery" saved it and it seems to be recovering. It's a bit small compared to the Blue Dream'Matic growing under the same conditions, but it's leaves are healthy and it's putting out new growth. It's going to get it's nutrients dialed up just a little, and the lights are being lowered slowly, to dial in it's optimal grow conditions. Unless she explodes with growth I am going to avoid any topping later in the grow and focus instead on some gentle LST (if needed). I am including a timelapse that mainly covers my Blue Dream'Matic, but shows some of the growth of the 🍊 in the foreground. Great news they all have names! Please welcome Samantha, Ana, Nerea, Lucia and Ella to the group! So it has been a week of playing around with free-standing water, heating, and airflow and now it seems we have finally found the sweet spot with a humidifier up high. It seems like I don't even need the extraction fan at the moment as there is a reasonable amount of pull coming out of the hole at the top, so much so that the door is actually being sucked in. Just trying to find the right height for the light. After a bit of research, I have decided on 80cm which I will lower bit by bit each day heading towards 50cm. Any comments would be greatly appreciated. 🙏💪 Also in my search, I found that according to Jorge Cervantes 24 hour light is a waste of electricity for the extra growth you get so I have reduced the schedule to 18-6.

On day 1 the reservoirs PH is 6.3. The rez is 483 ppm. The girls are looking good and nitrogen toxicity seems to have stopped. On day 2 the reservoirs PH was adjusted from 6.1 to 6.3. The rez is 477 ppm. Trichomes seem to be 10% cloudy so I still have a bit to go i'm thinking 9 weeks should be a good bet! On day 3 the reservoirs PH was adjusted from 6.4 to 6.1. The rez is 500 ppm. On day 4 the reservoirs PH is 6.2. The rez is 503 ppm. I lowered the ppfd so my tallest received 900 ppfd and an average of 543 ppfd. On day 5 the reservoirs PH is 6.2. The rez is 519 ppm. I removed some of the extra fan leaves blocking bud sites. On day 6 I changed out the reservoir with only tap water and adjusted the PH from 6.7 to 6.1 with a ppm of 249. The trichomes are maturing and I plan on harvesting on week 8 day 4 of flower. On day 7 the reservoirs PH was adjusted from 6.5 to 6.0. The rez ppm is 250.

D29. We're at the start of the first week of flower, and all is well in the tent. Today, I made some minor adjustments to the LST wires and tucked a few leaves to bring more light to the bud sites. ------------------------------ D31. She loves life and is starting to spread out over the Gorilla pot. I noticed a few yellow leaf tips on a single bud. No idea what is going on, but I'll keep an eye on her. Otherwise, she looks healthy, and I already see purple in her young flowers. I did some minor defoliation low down, but other than that, she is low maintenance now. All I do is tighten an LST wire now and then to maintain a flat canopy. ------------------------------ D32. I brewed up a quick compost tea using oat flour as the food source. Some people claim that that will result in a fungally dominant tea, so I thought I'd try it out. I also added humic acid and a teaspoon of myco because why not? Honestly, I'm not sure it is even possible to create a fungally dominant AACT, as the constant water movement will most likely tear the fungal hyphae apart as they form. In any case, a different food source should promote other bacteria than the molasses I usually use. Diversity is the name of the game in living soil. Well, in life in general. I gave her around 1 liter (5% of container volume) of tea @ pH 6.1. ------------------------------ D35. We're on the last day in the first week of flower. All is well in the tent, and there isn't much to report. One thing I did was buy a mushroom grow kit to keep in the tent. I figured I'd test it out and see how it works. The mushrooms produce CO2 that the plants love, and hopefully, I'll get some tasty Oyster mushrooms to eat — two birds with one stone and all that. ------------------------------

Week 6 of flower for the Fastbuds banana purple punch and gorilla cookies. The gorilla cookies has a real strong hazy smell to it and the banana purple punch has a real fruity smell to it. The strawberry banana from Fastbuds is flowering nicely a couple weeks behind.

Looks like a promising sturdy but surprisingly tall plant. I thought BK was supposed to stay on the shorter side. Regardless I'll enjoy watching her grow & hopefully she'll reward me with beautiful flower. The BK flower I previously had was my go-to night time if I had a migraine strain - worked every single time. I hope this one is the same.

Biggest Autoflower Ever - Pineapple Express was the GOAT. 479 Grams Dry Weight, 78 Days from seed to Harvest Was a big surprise having almost a HALF KILOGRAM FROM AUTOFLOWER, Always thought 500 grams per square meter description was a legend but no, IT CAN BE TRUE Good luck to all my grower fellas, I will not stop on growing in hydro, even tho half of this run was in handmade hydro. It was my third hydro Grow and I see the Improvement Last one was only 300 Grams dry weight Strawberry Banana from FB Pinepple Express itself is a 10/10 strain, it says mostly Indica but feels like the best Sativa I have ever tried, great pineapple smell and taste, hits like Mike Tyson, perfect strain and YUMMY as hell, loved it, will grow it again probably as it's not only mine favorite strain. Welcome to week 3 📅 Day 15 6/21/2021 She is now feeding from the reservoir and things are going great. The micro top has almost fully recovered and the undergrowth is growing nicely. I would like to say a few words about Mars Hydro. the TS 1000 is a great light and I love the fact that the power supply is capable of being separated from the light and located outside of the tent to keep the heat down. I also like the fact that you can control the light intensity and daisy chain with another light witch is what I plan on doing. Update Day 18 6/24/2021 she is growing fast and drinking lots as I have had to top up the res. I have also put the TS 1000 at 100% and the plants love it
