2020-01-12(Day 15) - Fastbuds Purple Lemonade passed the MegaPowerPlant of the same age in height. I just implemented LST and introduced Nutes. From the grows I've seen of this strain I think I'll stick to LST and not top, take advantage of the large internodal spacing. One or two more weeks and we should see some dark buds forming, can't wait!

Did she start flowering ? Usually I see the same with pheno ants when I switch off the light for 36 hours to start flowering and after the top is light green. This is how flowering starts. I am not sure about her ? Weather is shit anyways....

An here we are. At the end of another cycle. The end of another year, and what a year it was. For Sunshine and me personally, it was a tough year, with our families sick on multiple occasions, life-threatening. I sometimes read that people won't go near their plants when they are angry or sad. Please do go to your plants when you are sad or angry! They are millions of years old. They have been healers of animals and humans since they were around. Our emotions can not taint something so pure as the spirit of this plant. She will heal us, give her life for us, sacrifice herself for our healing. She is all-powerful and all-knowing, there is nothing we mere humans can do, except disrespect her powers. This is the final week these ladies see light until total darkness 🕯️💡👀💚🌿 FLUSH MODE has been achieved 🔌🌱☘️🍃🍂🌴💚 the size of the buds on the Colorado Cookies are huge, almost the size of soda cans. They are full of crystals and trichromes covered by much, they are super sticky and solid. The banana blaze is a tall and stalky girl with her buds being dense with hues of purple and really long orange hairs. This one is going to be a great grow for both of them. Smells great, nice dense and frosty nugs. Plant 1: chopped on day 71 (sounds early but the trichomes were definitely ready) and weighed 86.6 grams after drying for 7 days. Plant 2: chopped on day 81 and weighed 83.5 grams plus another 15 grams of larfy buds) after drying for 9 days Plant 3: chopped on day 87 and weighed 123.6 grams after drying for 7 days. Total dry weight: 293.7 (10.48 oz) not counting the larfy buds

Day 78. that’s all she wrote folks. Mainely really hit t out of the park with this plant. I’m always so impressed with his genetics. She was dongly. Beautiful dense nugs and beautiful colors. Really happy to watch her dry out and see how she smokes. ♥️♥️

I'm gonna jump right in..👨‍🌾 The high stress technique I have used a couple days ago called super cropping, I (tried more or less) to keep the canopy under control and more even. This also allow lower bud sites to rise to the top and slow down the 'stretching'. 🌲🌲🌲🌲🌞🌞🌞🌞 The trade in doing it at this stage, is that the plant is also focusing more on healing the stems instead of total focus on the buds. But I'm probably early enough in the flower stage they will make it up by having more strong stems in the end. That's because the points they are broken now are gonna heal back more strong.💪💪💪 I've added some nutrients to help them heal. Aptus is working great with my organic soil👍😎💚 🌊💦 🌞🌞🌞🌞🌞🌞🌞🌞🌞 As you maybe have seen I've added some extra lights. This are Mars Hydro's new Adlite's. Here is some info about them in my own words.👨‍🌾 -IR 15, is a infrared light that is promoting extra photosynthesis. Basically long wave length of lights that will penetrate leaves and hit the stems, so the idea is stems will be more strong and be able to carry bigger buds. -UV 30, is a ultraviolet light that will try to mimic the radiation that comes of the sun. A little explanation about what this does to the plant in nature is that the plant will make it's own sunblock oil in the form of trichomes. So by adding this light the idea is that the plant is gonna work more to block this 'radiation'. -Deep Red 30, is like the title maybe already explained a red light booster. In nature the spectrum of the sun changes with the season, so it's easy to explain the sun will get more intense and contains more red in the summer. The wavelength of red is also pretty long like the 'infrared' these will sometimes penetrate leaves and hit stems and lower buds. The idea is more photosynthesis.

The Mars Hydro FC-E1500, the Inkbird dehumidifier, and the auto-draining pot stands have all arrived this week. I will set up the pest control, nutrients, and the Exhale CO2 bag when I return from Italy. I will be leaving for 9 days next week, and I must admit, it makes me quite nervous to leave the house for a trip. However, I have tested the automation system, and it should take care of the light cycle and feeding/watering remotely. It is surprising to see that the "normal" leaves are already twice the size of the round cotyledons (or "seed leaves") after just 4 days. This indicates that my autoflowering plants have already entered the vegetative growth stage. It's a positive sign that the autoflowering genetics are taking effect and the plants are progressing rapidly, even at this early stage. The DLI (Daily Light Integral) of 18.6, which I have set, is ideal for supporting this quick transition. Providing sufficient light intensity and duration during the vegetative stage is crucial for autoflowering strains as it fuels their accelerated growth and development. I have been watching the size and appearance of the leaves to track the plants' progress. Maintaining the optimal environmental conditions I have been going for including an 18/6 photoperiod, a temperature range of 24-28°C, and a relative humidity (RH) of 55-70%, which should theoretcially enable my autoflowers to continue thriving in the vegetative stage. The fact that my plants have reached this milestone within the first 3 days is a promising indication of a fast and productive growth cycle.
