sound week on the soil. this grow is really lovely. starting to see some promising bud sites. I think i might trim too much but i want the buds to get the light. topped them and they recovered very fast. still yet to see some purple. dont want to mess with pH just yet

Medium: Look, I love coco/soil, organic/synthetic just as much as anyone. I’ve never really hated on any particular method and each has its uses depending upon the environment. That being said.... hydro is likely to be the predominant indoor method for us going forward. It ticks all the boxes that the average hobby grower is looking for. Maintenance is generally pretty easy, while I’ve found myself monitoring ph and tds more frequently, I’m still only mixing nutes once a week instead of three. The hassle factor is crazy mitigated here: 1:. From a sustainability perspective, nute consumption is wayyyy down, saving more dolla bills y’all! Added bonus is that veg. Growth rates are just insanely fast. Easily a 2 week savings in time pre-flower🤟😎😳. It is a little bit of a tricky medium but once you dial in the ratios - smooth sail’n the whole grow. I can focus on training/maintenance instead of feeding🤟🤟. If there’s a drawback to DWC it would be that I’d have concerns about leaving it for more than a couple days when she’s in full flower. They just drink so much that It’s a constant top off. All told, far and away the most effective and economical medium we’ve used😎. Method 🎚️🎚️🎚️🎚️ Under this COB light system, the best method to date has definitely been a mainline. It’s got so much canopy penetration that we’re pulling down 16” long colas packed with well developed buds. The mainline training didn’t take long in DWC - roughly 4 weeks of veg. And she was ready for the flip. We only extended it a further 2 weeks to keep pace with another grow in the same space. Otherwise, I would’ve cut the veg. Time back to 4 weeks which would’ve made the behemoth of a root ball a little more manageable. We also iceballed the res. With frozen water bottles twice a day throughout the grow. Just to keep temps down and avoid any potential issues. Whether or not there’s a better, more efficient way to get these kinds of results remains to be seen. We’re still trying to strike that balance between faster veg. Times and maximized yields. If anything, I wouldn’t be at all surprised if the hermie issue at the end had something to do with the root ball binding on itself due to size. The true culprit was an unanticipated light leak but still - The ball could’ve been 2/3 the size and likely have produced similar results🤷‍♂️. I’m giving the method a slim 4 because it was a great success but too long a veg. Yield/Harvest🌴🌴🌴🌴 Regardless of the final number, we had hoped that the yield would’ve been bigger. She’s a beauty of a plant but didn’t really puff out as much as we were hoping for. At least not a mainline on a 6 week veg. At 5.125oz we’re obviously not complaining and the colours in late flower were some of the best ever seen😎👌😎👌. What she did yield was frosty, dense and surprisingly stinky AF. I see no discernible difference in the quality of the terp. Profile vs. Any of our previous organic soil grows. For those who tout this as an advantage in soil media, I say get urself a bucket and a bubbler, then we’ll talk. Hydro is just straight up awesome: 1:. 4 palm trees on the yield - any haul north of 5oz is a great addition to the cellar: 1:😎: 1:😎. Moby2: Sigue a su ritmo crecen sus ramas y su poda FIM continua su proceso me gustaría poder hacer otro trasplante en esta Moby2 quizás recicle un poco y no la pase a una maceta de muchos mas litros esto lo haría para controlar su crecimiento y usarla como madre de otra tanda e esquejes.

WEEK #15 — FIRST SIGNS OF FROST Most „Standard“ Week so far, i guess. A Little grow, a little leaves removed (that shadowed other Branches), Water Water — same same all week. The only new thing: A Little smell. Slush Mint cake very fresh and fruity (had the Impression of a light menthol Impression in the air a few times). Skywalker like lemon-soapy Style. Looking forward to how it will develop individually. The Look: another clear difference is the appearance. SMC is very flat (like really flat), very dense, but mostly with distance between buds. Skywalker rather normal, but also dense. Both have „breakout“ Kolas, canopy rather uneven, so light Distribution not that great. Well, LED aint the sun, hu? BUT: The underdog, Mint Cake, has the most frostied leaves, covered in trichomes. From shaft to the tip, ALL of them, what makes them appear light green, although the leaves are rather dark. Hope this will develop Even further, very impressive so far. First few pistills turning brown already, However according to Dutch Passion, bloom is 8-9 weeks for SMC and 9-10 Weeks for Skywalker *Haze* on average. This should mean like half is already over. ☺️ Bonus: CUTE - SMC as well as Skywalker have slight purple tips (🍆) respectively tiny dark/ purple leaves. Fingers crossed i have a purple pheno! Temperatures are hot at the Moment, humidity dry. Both Translate to very good conditions in the tent. Guess thats it for this week, stay tuned. Edit: For nutrients, i still have some calmag and phosphor around from my beginnimgs. They dont seem necessary at the Moment, but — so i assume — will Not harm the plants either, at least in a very light concentration.

They looking good, but temp is a little too high. It is what it is One of the plants (In front to the left) is more frosty, with less amber pistils. But overall the trichomes are starting to go from crystal to cloudy. Unfortunately the very top buds look like they have got too hot and don’t seem to be fattening up as I would expect especially the main cola on each plant. Debating if to remove the main couple of inches of the main cola or to just hope reducing the temp will allow them to develop as normal. Any advice welcome.

Aug 23: Tropicana Cookies Fast Flowering is. cruising along toward the finish. Nice and symmetric with 16 colas all forming a nice long stick of buds. Should be a really good yield off of this one. No pue colour uet but I’m sure it’s coming soon. Aug 27: hit 32 C today and will be hot for another five days or so. With this late heat wave I’ve upped the daily water volume to about 9 L a day over three waterings. Still adding potassium silicate once a day and always adjusting pH with vinegar and then a squirt of Dr Bronners Peppermint Soap as a wetting agent. Smell of peppermint also repels pests, supposedly.

Welcome to week six! 🌱 Week five was a complete success – all parameters are perfectly aligned. I’ve increased the water conductivity to a solid 3000 and bumped the CO2 level up to 1200 🌿. Light intensity is now set at 1400 µmol in the center and 1000 at the edges, which will keep the plants strong in their generative state 🌞. I’ll maintain these levels until the end of the third week and then start slowly removing the large fan leaves to ensure the buds get plenty of light 💡✨. I’m also trying something new to activate the “Emerson effect” 🌄: I’m running the deep red lights for 5 minutes before sunset and for another 5 minutes after the day ends. This should give the plants a final boost in photosynthesis, helping to maximize their growth potential! Everything’s looking fantastic so far! The Black Cherry has rooted well across different experimental setups, and at the end of the grow, I’ll provide a full report on the best care techniques for both strains 🌺👌. Week 9 | Jealousy Marker | Flowering Height holding at 78cm — the stretch is done and she's putting everything into bud development now. The main cola is stacking up nicely and the side branches are following suit. Trichome coverage is getting serious and some purple is starting to show in the calyxes, which is a welcome surprise at this stage. Conditions unchanged from last week: 25°C days, 18°C nights, 60% humidity, 16 hours natural light, 2L per plant per 24h. pH 6.2, EC nudged up to 1.4 mS/cm. Nutrient stack holding: CANNA Aqua Flores A+B at 3 ml/l each, CalMag Agent at 0.9 ml/l, Plagron Green Sensation at 0.5 ml/l, Aptus Regulator at 0.1 ml/l. Smell has kicked in — normal intensity now, the first sign of the terp profile developing. One notable discovery this week: something tunnelled up from below through the bottomless pot and exited right next to the stem at the top of the soil. A full rodent highway running straight through the root zone. She hasn't noticed — vigorous, no stress signs, business as usual. Nature finds a way. Updates every Sunday. Stay tuned.

4/18 - 4/20: She's coming along nicely! 4/22: I FIM'd her today and gave her about 20oz of water with cal-mag, humic acid, and boomerang and foliar fed with big bloom and fulvic acid. Later, I rinsed off all the plants with a stiff stream of filtered water in preparation for tomorrow. 4/23: Today was BoomBoom Spray day! I just love how visible the growth is the day after a BoomBoom Spray day!😲 Tomorrow I'll spray her down with Axiom Harpin a|b proteins..she'll start flowering soon and I want her hitting her stretch with mega-vigor.👈 4/24: I did a foliar application of Harpin proteins and fed her with about 1/4-gallon. 😊 I removed all the cool white and blue light, and turned on the 3rd set of QB's and bud boosters so she will get her stretch on- I also reduced her photoperiod to 20 hours so she can start getting some beauty sleep. I also tied down her apex cola today. 4/25: Didn't have much time today, but I looked in on her. It's getting crowded in here, so I'll remove all the photos (clones and seedlings) tomorrow. She seems to be doing really well. Had to move the camera up some in order to fit the entire plant, but while doing so I accidentally knocked something off that fell onto the plant. Added a little stint to keep her upright, but she didn't seem very impressed by the impact and happily kept on growing.
