Great week of growth, been doing a lot of LST. Spreading her out and tying it down! Roots are really growing. Pinching leaves as they get too big and block light.

After sorting out humidity levels and investing in pro dehumidifier we are now under extremely hot weather hitting 30 degrees Celsius every day. Trying to cool down tent as much as I can throwing ice inside every few hours and hoping that high temps will not effect in any stress that could follow with hermaphroditism - for now all good 😅 Noticed some burned tips on leafs so for next couple days watering with only pH’d water to let those girls use any extra nutrients. I will be focusing this diary on the smoothie strain but you’ll be seeing some other plants in the tent that are not the same strain. I only have room in this tent so bare with me. There are 2 Smoothie, 1 CNC, and 1 Stardawg (dog). The smoothie are the two bigger ones in the back of the tent. Now, the Smoothie from FastBuds is just killin it right now. Since I popped the beans they have done nothing but show signs of greatness. I don’t think this one is gonna slow down much either. I’m going to push these plants harder than my last harvest. I had a really really amazing harvest last time. I was even able to pull sap out of all 4 plants. 2 Zkittles and 2 LSD-25. This was all done by feeding at the right times and keeping a “moist” soil. Also I want add that I ran pretty much the entire line of Nectar for the Gods at a little less then the recommended ratios. This time I plan on going a tiny bit over the recommended ratios just to see what these plants will do. Trust me, if the plants have a bad response I will go back to the recommended ratios. The reason I want to do this is because I really think these auto strains can handle a lot more than a regular flowering cycle plant would. They can handle more stress, that’s for sure. When do you think I should add a compost tea into my regimen? Soon or wait till the plant is a little larger?

Into week 8, growing well, buds continue to stack up on this very singular up and down outdoor plant. Smells good, excited to see how the next few weeks go. Scratched 1/4 cup of Coast of Maine Fish Bone Meal into the soil and watered late in the week.

First sign of mold formed. I cut the branch, remove moldy bit and drying it. I needed to get her inside as soon as possible, so this made me harvest the Peach Puree CBD faster as she was using the lights, I brought the church in and put her next the peach for her final night, you can see her in the 3rd picture. I needed to do some super cropping to get a more even canopy so that the light gets as many buds as possible. Was still not happy with how the lower branches are getting barely any lights so I did some foliation and tied the lower branches so they are higher (you can see some side ways branches in the video, that is because I pulled them in). Had to some reflective material lying around, so I wrapped that around her and she is looking very comfortable in her new home now. I've put some hay which I had laying around on the soil with some leaves I cut to act as some mulch which could be why she is drinking very little water, haven't had to water her since I brought her in 3 days ago (mind you she was under a lot of rain before that).

Hey growmies, Growth has been okay, however the growth is all variegated and funky looking. My environment has been spot on and the only nutrients this girl is getting is calmag, so I am left to assume this weird growth is a result of being snapped in half. Every node looks better than the last, i feel like she'll grow out of it. I just hope she doesn't enter flower right away as a result of the stress. I'm experimenting with a camera in there, see if it can provide me with consistent timelapse footage, if this week's timelapse is a bit weird, that's the reason. If you are wondering what the Hypochlorous acid in the nutrient list is, I'm using Calcium hypochlorite to combat pythium growth in my growbucket, as well as providing free chlorine for the plant to uptake. It's a very cheap and effective way to run a "Sterile" DWC run, although you have to be very careful when handling and dosing, if you want to know how I calculate my dose, leave a comment or send a message, I'm happy to help out.
