Day 141 10/06/25 Tuesday Harvested the Orange Apricot Glue XL today! This run of autos I haven't done any dark period before harvest except, I managed to catch them just as lights were coming on. She has performed amazingly in consideration that she was only in a 2.5L pot. In hindsight, I now know I am able to do a SOG with small auto pots. Making for an exciting next run. Upon harvesting the OAG XL, The pungent smell of citrus, diesel and fruity twists is intoxicating. The buds are dense and compact, with formed calyx's boasting with trichomes. Wet weight on this was 427g of buds. (All wet trim gets dried in hangers and used for making butter later) To my suprise a super easer one to trim as she was mainly buds and fan leaves. She is now hanging drying in a 80x80 tent , with a small fan on low @ netted window entrance, facing down to circulate air from bottom to top. An exhausting fan with carbon filter also runs 2x a day for 1 hour. This lasted for 8days before humidity dropped to 49%. I have now put into containers to allow inner moisture to pull through now. After 3-4 more days she will have final trim and placed into Terp Loc Grove Bags to cure. Once curing I shall do a smoke report, dry bud weight, and update journal. The left one is still slower but coming on nicely, with the reduced bud sites I'm expecting larger buds. The right one has a lot more buds, so it should be a good comparison. The Autopots are doing their thing hassle-free watering.

This lady is so short and stocky, it’s really hard to make it look good in a picture, it just looks like a little bush lol. But don’t let the pictures fool you, this plant is looking to bring some killer flowers, still very small but I anticipate them packing on some serious weight in the next 3 weeks. Lots of thricome production so far and now you can tell it’s starting to put on weight. I’m very thrilled with this cycle of plants I’ve had, running into no problems, and really have my nutrients dialed in and really helps in knowing what my plants need now.

2024-06-06 Finally Weather turned to sunny and warm So i placed the Outdoors 2 days ago. they are quite stressed because of the changed conditions, but ia sure they will look fine soon i kinda under watered them the last 10 days and i fertilised them, so not enough water and fertiliser- they are burned. shit happens iam sorry Girls. next update in a few days because this pne is 11 days from the last, big Progress on the plants, as they already show good Flowers. What can I say....So far she is a beauty. Beautiful indica structure and easy to please. I gave her a 10 gallon flush and fresh nutrients. Started them on some liquid Koolbloom. I feel like I need to cut a clone off her and cross breed it with something but not sure what. Maybe the bubble bomb.... I was wondering why she wasn’t breaking ground. So on 4/20 I started looking into the rapid rooter. She was breech! Stuck sideways in the rooter, turned her head first and she’s going in the right direction now!

She picked up a lot of spider mites out of nowhere when I didn't have any during veg. Did a heavy neem treatment and defoliation so hopefully that will take care of it. Buds are still getting fat and I'll wait to see how it goes in the last 4 weeks.

Buenass, novena semana de los esquejes. Los dos van muy bien, se ven bastante frondosos y les hice su ultima defoliación a los dos hasta el día que empiece ciclo 12/12 que les haré una leve para entrar a florar. Al esqueje del LST le aplique la técnica supercropping a su rama principal, con esto logre bajarla y que este mas cercana a la altura de los demás tallos. La planta reacciono muy bien a este estrés y ya está como si nada. Durante esta semana le haré la primera aplicación de Delta9 que es un estimulante floral, esto lo aplicare vía foliar y a los 10 días se cambiara el ciclo a 12/12. La temperatura esta semana a estado mas helada y la que viene será lo mismo pero por el momento las plantas se ven muy bien. Cualquier recomendación será bien recibida!!

Hello my fellow Growers👊 It was another Great week for the Kush Fromage 🙌 All the pictures were taken on Sunday, which was Day 42 of Flower. She is really starting to reek the whole area up. It is a very earthy kush like smell with fresh grapes on a grapevine mixed in, it's a very unique smell😊 She is supposed to be a very heavy resin producer and have a high THC and CBD content. Anywhere from 18-26% THC and ~3% CBD according to the breeder. I can tell you this it is one very very resinous plant😵 even the fan leaves and smaller leaves that have no trichomes on them have developed an oily resin on them. It's awesome so I can definitely say it is a heavy resin producer. If a sugar leaf touches another leaf you can see an oily resin where it touched it, my fingers get sticky just from the fan leaves👍The breeders estimated time of Flower is around 63 Days. So we got a few more weeks to go!! I hope the buds will fill in a good bit more but I am not counting on them getting huge due to this strain being more on the quality over quantity side of things. It's not a bad producer and I'm sure they can get some pretty huge flowers on em, but I have seen plants that can produce way more, but this strain makes up for it in its potency and resin production. Plus I personally like the Quality over quantity strains. Week 4 was pretty solid for overall growth and for bud growth. I think the stretch phase is definitely done and the bud will start to pack on size from here on out. This seems like the fun part but it's becoming very smelly and sticky..extremely sticky. I touch it once and my fingers are glued together. Seems to me that they are all happy!! Normal feeding except for more bloom nutrients and no more adding nitrogen. I needed up buying Fox Farms Beastie Bloomz and gave the girls a nice feeding which they loved! I also bought a trellis net and added it, I also bought fabric pots but wont use until next run. I also got a Govee device to monitor humidity and temp better so I can dial in the VPD! Learning so much and VPD is definitely one of the most important aspects to dial in! So far so good this week! I'm loving the trellis net addition! Makes it look so nice! Thanks for any advice!!

I found this seed in bud that I harvested from my Barney's Liberty Haze plant. It was grown in my grow room and you can see my GrowDiary log of that plant. I am not sure exactly how I ended up with seeds... maybe there was light or temperature stress which resulted in a herm. In any case, I decided to grow this seed as a fun experiment. I didn't even know if the seed would germinate... but it grew just FINE. I didn't top it, or give it any special treatment. I guess you could say she grew 'native' or 'au natural.' I have never grown outside before, but I had space in the garden, and the seedling looked healthy, so I hardened her off and popped her into the dirt. She ended up going into a huge monster of a plant. Standing over 9 feet tall I had to laugh out loud each time I climbed the ladder to inspect her top cola LOL. I had so much fun growing this plant. I called her Majestic Haze (we live on Majestic Drive) because I'm not sure if Barney's would want me calling her Liberty Haze. I can't verify the genetics for sure :) I wonder how plant breeders handle those kinds of things??... This bud is fun for parties and conversation. It starts out with an energetic vibe and then settles into a relaxed chill stoned feeling. We vaped our dried bud, and then we tried some of our hand rolled hash... then we settled in for the night. Woke up a sit high still LOL but it's Saturday and we don't need to go anywhere so it's all good LOL... This one is the bud of choice for house parties and silly Netflix watching. PS if you haven't see The Good Place... you need to get stoned and watch it. The total dried weight of bud from this plant was just under one pound @ 310g and we also ended up with around 120 g of frosty trim. We also rolled up about a gram of hash which has some serious kick :)

Lots of bud swell was seen this week. Hermie pods were developing on the lowers of all plants and were picked off daily, it will likely be seeded, but hopefully not too many. I have been seeing less pods each day, but I can tell they are still developing. The trichomes are really starting to pile on. A suspected nitrogen deficit has popped up on a couple of lowers, but it isn't too much of a concern yet. I used some "BAB," and I plan on another light bokashi topdressing within the next week. High humidity is returning this week, so I'll have to manage that before it becomes a problem.

Third week on bloom and the ladies are in full overdrive. I had to increase the humidity up to 70% b'cause of my predatory mites which I released a couple of days ago to get rid of these bloody spider mites. Rest is daily routine. Servus🤘 Oim

Alright grow cycle, mistakes, improvements, etc... She did stay in veg for too long, her growth was slow and not the best and so she took quite long, next time i'll be there from the beginning so I can take care of her throughout. But her growth is really fun. It is a tall growing sativa with fairly tight noding when trained accordingly, producing long filled colas. The buds grow fairly dense and fluffly but do air out a little when dried. Trichome production was pretty impressive as well as terpene production. She had thrips since her early days but did not seem to mind them at all. I did spray them initially but once flower started I stopped. I believe predatory mites might have been feeding on the pupae in the soil, if that is what this specific species of thrips did, the reason I say that is I could never see adults only larvae. Whatever the case maybe they were there but the population never really increased. Something I did not mention during the grow is that those plants were played music during the days, music that is apparently developed for plants. The 10L pot was WAY too small for a true sustainable living organic and to provide enough space for the plant, that was a mistake, I'd say a 20L would be the bare minimum and still. The bigger the better. The hempy transfer did not hurt the plant and I believe even helped to some extent, BUT, I am still running test on the subject and so can't confirm anything, here are my observations Roots did not colonize the perlite, a little on top and the sides but that was it, I was expecting to see a big root mass in there. I believe hempy are great for salt fert as it hold a soup of nutes where the plant can feed from since the coco only holds very little Whereas in nature most nutrient are in the top soil where the highest amount of decomposition happens, this is where the highest microbial activity happens and so where the plant will find food. Living organic is trying to reproduce nature and so there is no need for the plant's roots to gather at the bottom of the pot. Although it could have potentially provided the plant access to a larger amount of water and possibly more oxygenation of the pot. Those are all theories, please speak up if you have other proofs. In conclusion , unless i get proven otherwise by someone or my latest running experiment , I will not be using hempies again as I believe it brings more complication and issues than a simple fabric pot. The lights, The 600w at the start was good, then I decided to add a 400w...😂 That was completely overkill and not necessary. Waste of electricity. And they started suffering from too much light it seems at some point, I raised the light by a good 30 cm and they were fine. 600 is more than enough. I am happy about how the soil performed but it has room for improvements. As for the watering technique I have been watering large ammount every few days, next time I will be giving constant small amount of water each day and a soak every week or so, I believe the soil might perform better under those conditions. She was also an easy plant to harvest whit her long colas which had very little foliage, I do trim in excess as I like my buds extra clean but the buds are not excessively bushy. The trims were use to make some bubble hash, around 100g of wet trims yielded around 1.5-2g of bubble hash. I did add a negative effect but only because it wouldn't give me a smile otherwise, but to be honnest it barely dries your mouth. The soil is going to be recycled and reused in a next grow. I can't think of anything else at the moment but if you have any question don't hesitate.
