Well, this is another new journey with @FastBuds, I know they are great, so this time I will grow 2 girls in a tent, each one will have a separate diary, and here her first week has already passed, everything looks pretty good, in a week she will be transplanted into a 15 liter pot :).

Fast forward to end of week 4, time to choose and top to start the manifold process, the large fan leaves are bigger than my hand and its starting to smell funky - like skunk a little Week 4 would have started 4/24/2022 - adding this after the fact

Welcome to the Smoking Tiki's hut! I will grow 4 autoflowering from Fast Buds in front of a South-East oriented window. One year ago, I received the seeds and conserved them into my fridge door. Now, the "FBT2304" has become the "Pound Cake Auto". I started with 8 seeds (2 for each strain). They all germinated! For each strain, I took the seed with the bigger root and put it in its final 1,5l pot. I didn't find my usual soil at the store so I took a variant of it, let's see how it goes. It's also the first time I'm adding some Mycorrhizal Inoculant (fungi) from Dynomyco. I mixed 15g of Dynomyco with the soil for each plant. The "SUN" column in the weekly report is filled based on my daily electricity production. My solar panels are oriented at 90° compared to the window but it's just to give a rough idea of the amount of light received by the plant. 0 : very cloudy day + : cloudy day ++ : sunny day +++ : very sunny day Have a nice journey through my grow diary!

Day 50: Water intake is 150ml per plant, light schedule 18/6. Humidity is approx 50%. Fertilization continues the same way Monday, Wednesday, Friday Biobizz family, Tuesday, Thursday, Saturday bat guano and Epsom salt. Flowers are developing nicely and getting thicker. Plants love the new 600W Viperspectra:) All good so far! They are all approx 30-35 cm. Day 53: Smell is getting stronger, really nice mix one. Day 55: Nice smell comes out from this tent. Plants are nice buds are getting dense and the smell is getting stronger and stronger. All of them do well, some more some with less bud development but they all look happy.

Getting near the end. BB2 and GG2 showing mostly milky/ cloudy trichomes with some amber. These two showed the deficiencies and have been flushed on day 76. One more flush and they will be harvested first. BB1 and GG1 look to be about a week later.

I turned her pot and plucked a couple of yellow shade leaves...the basic daily maintenance. 9/22- I didn't water her yesterday as she looked great and was 'praying' hard. Today she was given 1.5g of de-chlorinated water which was ph'd to 6.2 @ 72℉ which I gave her through her drip pan (bottom chuggin) and I also gave her pot a turn. She continues to pile on the trichomes and is taking on a exquisite purple hue to her flowers! She is definitely one of the most photogenic cultivar's I've grown and is looking lovelier by the day! 😍 9/24- We're getting close to wrapping up Week Six of flower in a couple of days and she'll be around four more weeks from finishing, with the most exciting weeks yet to come! I didn't water yesterday and today I went ahead and Top Dressed her with 2 tbsp/g Dr. Earth Flower Girl 3-9-4, 1 tbsp/g Dr. Earth Gold Premium 4-4-4, 1/2 cup Down To Earth Bio-Fish, 1/3 cup Down To Earth High Phosphorus Bat Guano and 2 cups of Worm Castings. I watered in the Top Dress with 1.5g of de-chlorinated water which was ph'd to 6.2 @ 72℉ and let her enjoy her meal! 😜 9/26- After her heavy watering on the 24th I didn't water yesterday and when I checked her today at 'lights on' and she still had some weight to her pot and her leaves were praying hard so I held off on watering today and will hit her tomorrow with her usual 1.5g watering. ~Thanks for stopping in! So I set up the veg room at last since I want to flip the main plant. That meant light proofing it, which I did with air con putty, myler blanket layers and A LOT of duct tape. It's not pretty but I hope it will get the job done! Perpetual grow is the grow, harvesting every 2 months. The clone I made from topping got transplanted to a solo cup, and I can see a root through the clear inside cut so I guess she is doing her thang., Also added lights to the flower booth so it should have 153w. Put 4 led bulbs with the tops popped off to see how they go, apparently, they are more economical than cfls? And I am considering what to do for side lighting, leds might be a choice because they have a lower profile, Or LED strips? Or fluorescent tubes? I guess it's not neccisary for this grow but in the future. I've tied down the main branches so I think they will all have their own space to get light. I think I've done enough training to flip. Can't wait for her to start flowering :)

Put the largest nothern lights in its own mini green house, both have x2 large bug nets around them instead of a plastic cover as the temps and humidity were off but are perfect now. Plus it will reduce the chances of bugs flying in while also allowing the wind to pass through, I’ve used some Biobizz leaf spray no further leafs have been eaten since using it which I’m happy about.

Week 6 done, been watching these girls closely for any deficiency, although I’m not 100% sure what they are chat gtp has been my friend lol I feel the one on left was facing some type of deficiency so upped the nutes on her just a little to see how she reacted, the discoloration in the lower leafs haven’t seem to spread up to new growth so I’ll keep watching her, the one on the right has stretched good and starting to develop bud sites hopefully they stack up nicely over the next few weeks she’s in new soil so I’m not so worried about her facing deficiency but still watch her just as close lol

Aktueller Zustand der Pflanze (siehe Bild): Die Pflanze präsentiert sich aktuell in einem hervorragenden Zustand und entwickelt sich prächtig. Trotz der Herausforderungen, die wir im Laufe dieses Grows hatten, sind die Ergebnisse mehr als ermutigend. * Wuchsform: Die Pflanze hat sich sehr buschig und kompakt entwickelt, mit einer Vielzahl von gut ausgebildeten Seitentrieben, die alle dicht mit Blüten besetzt sind. Dies deutet auf eine exzellente Lichtausnutzung und eine gelungene Verzweigung hin, wahrscheinlich durch gezieltes Training in der Vegetationsphase. * Blütenqualität: Die Buds sind auffallend dicht und zeigen eine beeindruckende Harzproduktion. Die Trichome sind bereits deutlich sichtbar und glänzen, was auf eine hohe Potenz und Aromaentwicklung hindeutet. Die Stigmen (Blütenhärchen) sind größtenteils bernsteinfarben verfärbt, was auf eine fortgeschrittene Reifephase hinweist und die bevorstehende Ernte ankündigt. * Blattgesundheit: Die Blätter sind weiterhin größtenteils grün und vital. Dies führte zu der Notwendigkeit, den pH-Wert der Nährlösung häufiger anzupassen. Nach genauerer Beobachtung wurde die Hauptursache für diese pH-Schwankungen identifiziert: Algenbildung auf der Oberfläche der Steinwolle. Diese Algen konkurrierten nicht nur um Nährstoffe, sondern trugen auch maßgeblich zu den instabilen pH-Werten bei. Learnings für den nächsten Grow: Um die Algenbildung und damit die pH-Problematik zukünftig zu vermeiden, sind folgende Maßnahmen geplant: * Reduzierung der Steinwollwürfel-Größe: Es werden kleinere Steinwollwürfel für die Keimung und Startphase verwendet. * Einsatz von mehr Tonkugeln (Leca): Die Steinwollwürfel werden im nächsten Grow deutlich besser mit Tonkugeln abgedeckt, um die Oberfläche vollständig vor Licht zu schützen. Dies wird die Algenbildung effektiv unterbinden und somit zu einem stabileren pH-Wert beitragen. Ausblick: Trotz der aufgetretenen Schwierigkeiten bin ich mit dem aktuellen Zustand der Pflanze äußerst zufrieden. Sie ist ein starkes Beispiel dafür, wie widerstandsfähig diese Pflanzen sein können, wenn die Grundversorgung stimmt und auf Probleme reagiert wird.
