Week 7 is over. They are more than ready for flowering. In 3-4 days I'll have free bloom tent and will transfer them there and flip to 12/12. Most of them are doing very good - slight VPD issues but will be corrected. Strawberry Cough still the biggest even after double topping and bending. Still looks weak-ish though. Stems and branches are very flexible comparing to other plants. Grandpa's Cookies #6 are a failure. I'll see but I probably will discard it. It's very underdeveloped - small, slender, willowy. Leaves are still weird - it didn't grow out of it.

Eternity Grow Cup - Week 11 VEG Report This is a pivotal week in our Eternity Grow Cup journey as we wrap up VEG and prepare to transition into FLOWER. Our goal has been to ensure that the plants are thriving and optimized for the next phase. This report will detail everything that took place during this crucial week. Mass Defoliation & Structural Training We began the week with an extensive defoliation session. Every leaf with a stem was removed to clear space for optimal light penetration and airflow. This process was done mostly by hand, clicking them off in the opposite direction of growth, while some stubborn ones were snipped with scissors. By the end, it felt like we had taken out nearly half a kilo of leaves! The room now looks clean, structured, and ready to fill out the ScroggNet. To further enhance the plant structure, branches were attached to the pots, allowing for better horizontal growth. This technique helps maximize canopy exposure and prepares the plants for even light distribution once flowering begins. Defoliation before flowering is a key step as it reduces overcrowding, improves airflow, and sets the plants up for efficient energy use in the next phase. Light Schedule & Adjustments This week, we introduced a subtle but effective light adjustment. While still maintaining an 18-hour light cycle, we initiated a 15-minute delay with the whites, allowing the reds to start first. This gradual shift signals the plants that a change is coming. Similarly, at the end of the light cycle, the whites turn off 15 minutes earlier, leaving the reds on for an extended period. This strategy mimics natural sunrise and sunset, helping the plants transition more smoothly into flowering. Additionally, at the end of the week, we will be implementing 48 hours of darkness before the official flip to flower. This method has worked exceptionally well in past grows, helping plants recognize the transition and encouraging a strong start to flowering. However, it's important to emphasize that this is a personal technique and not a universal rule. Every grower should experiment with different methods to find what works best for their specific environment. Environmental Conditions & Challenges Currently, our temperature is at 27°C with 60% humidity, resulting in a VPD of 1.50. While slightly higher than the ideal for VEG, our CO2 levels are over 1000 ppm, and the light intensity is at 570 PPFD, making it a manageable balance. The solution pH is 5.79 (essentially 5.8), EC is 1.38, and water temperature is 17.7°C. One challenge we are facing is maintaining optimal reservoir temperatures. Currently, it's a bit low at 17.7°C, and we are exploring solutions to raise it slightly. However, the medium temperature sits at 22.2°C, which is a good range. The humidifier is still in use, though it struggles to increase humidity further, so we are working with what we have to keep the VPD in check. ICL-300s Integration The ICL-300 lights are now fully active. Unlike the last grow, where we introduced them later, this time they are on from the start of flowering prep. This adjustment is an experiment to see if the plants respond better to an early introduction. Learning is at the core of this journey, and each grow offers new insights. Whether this proves to be the optimal strategy or not, it will be a valuable lesson for future grows. TrolMaster Hub & Data Monitoring Throughout the week, we have been closely monitoring our grow using the TrolMaster App TM+. We are displaying some of the collected data for everyone to see the details. Stay tuned as we explore this further in the next report! As always, we want to extend a huge thank you to our sponsors and the amazing community. Special thanks to Aptus, Groovebags, Cannakan, Promix, Ziggy Papers, TrolMaster, and Plagron, Zamnesia and Grow Diaries for making the Eternity Cup possible. I apprecilove the support from all sides—lovers, haters, competitors, and fellow growers. The competition continues to push us to improve, and i am thrilled to see the incredible reports from others. This is a challenging yet rewarding experience, and i couldn’t be happier to be part of it. For those following along, we invite you to check out our YouTube channel, where we upload full 4K episodes showcasing the entire journey. Some episodes are too large to be uploaded directly to Grow Diaries, so YouTube is the best place to catch everything in high definition. This marks the end of VEG, and we are officially ready to flip to FLOWER. Next week, we will dive into the TrolMaster System in action, check the data insights, and monitor how the garden adapts to the shift. Stay tuned! Divine Seeds Auto Candy Outside Grow Contest 👉Sponsored👈 W5F1 July 6-12 We had a break in the temperatures and humidity this week. It’s been in the 80s and Iow 90’s. It’s still hot but the heat index remained below 100. Auto Candy had a growth spurt this week doubling her size from all the rain and heat. She is 12.5 inches tall and so far, doesn’t mind the heat and humidity. My little candy girl is becoming a lady. Little white pistils appeared at the nodes. Bring on the flowers. I give water only from the well and I do not ph. , Fingers crossed she will be strong and take the heat like a champ. As aways, thank you all for stopping by, for the likes and most of al growers’ love and support. Stay green, growers love 💚🌿 💫Natrona💫

The plant looks absolutely gorgeous, I had to reduce her height drastically due to her big size already, I want to avoid my plants from being seen from outside so let's see how this lady keeps developing guys

Week 3(Bloom): She has packed on a lot of pistils this week. Overall she’s looking really good. I think I’m under watering her. Last night and tonight when the light came on she looked pretty droopy. I’ve given her some more water today. Tomorrow when the light comes on I’ll give her a look and see. I did lift the plant to see if it was heavy or light, she was very light. Hopefully she snaps out of it. I’m very happy with this girl. This week the growth wasn’t as rapid, this could be because of not enough water, not sure though. Starting to see a bit more vertical growth Thanks for checking out the diary! 👊

Quick Summary: moved and transplanted around day 18 into 5 gal. airpots with fresh ocean forrest, flowering began around day 24, thought I maybe had some nutrient burn, more likely cause is phosphorous and/or cal/mag deficiencies, three plants in the home stretch, O has a bit longer Day 50 Update: Watered and took some pictures last night. Not much new. Pretty sure they have massive deficiencies instead of any burn. I may chronically underwater/underfeed my plants. I'm still learning. This is my fourth grow ever so there's still lots to learn. Day 51 Update: Meant to water today but didn't. Day 52 Update: I spent a while with each plant and took some pictures/video when plant O was out of the tent. You can see some pretty clear brown spots on a fair bit of the shorter two plants. S is all kinds of ugly, but who knows, maybe still put out a decent weight. I fed twice in a row now and added some CaliMagic (forget the company name) this time. I read about how when there are stronger lights or MORE lights, the plants can burn through phosphorous rapidly, so maybe that's the issue I had. Either way, about day 40 seems like when the nutrients can be more steadily increased. The shorter two, V and P, have about 2ish weeks so that will likely be their last feeding. S too probably. O, on the other hand, has several weeks left but is looking otherwise really solid. Hopefully I got enough nutrients in early enough in that plant's flowering that it won't show any deficiencies. It's a monster too! 38 inches to the top of the spire. The other three are 25, 21, and 19 inches still so likely their final heights. I kept the tallest as the plant height for the diary because the top end is good to know for other indoor growers. Day 53 Update: No news. Day 54 Update: No news. Day 55 Update: S, V, and P are the three shorter plants. They are all starting to take water a bit slower. They didn’t *need* water tonight, so I’ll give them another day. O, on the other hand, is a monster! Probably needed water yesterday. Filtered tap, about 2 gal for O tonight. Food next time for O also. Others are in the wind-down so we’ll see. Pics added from tonight. Day 56 Update: Nothing to report.

Everything went good the first week overall. I’m struggling to keep my humidity up in this tent even with a humidifier running directly in the tent. Outside the tent the room is 25% and my flowering tents are also in this room and sit around 40-50% inside. So I’m thinking I’m going to grab one of those fans that is controlled off your humidity value or a humidity controlled relay and continue to run my humidifier directly in the tent. If I shut off my outtake fan humidity skyrockets quick, but so does the heat, so I need something to turn on and off my fan relative to my humidity in the veg tent only and hopefully find that sweet spot of temp/humidity. May be a bit pricy but I think it will be worth the expense to keep my seedling/veg tent humidity up at the proper levels while still being in the same room as my flowering tents and still be able to keep them at 40%-50%. My humidity basically is the last piece of my puzzle I need to get under control in my grow room to have everything dialled in across all my tents. But we are making do until then, just a pain having to fill this humidifier 3 times a day...lol if I can control the air intake better I should be able to run the humidifier at a lower setting and use less water. Roots are just starting to leave the basket now, I have been taking a cup of water from the bucket daily and pouring it over the rock wool and pebbles back into the bucket to keep everything wet. Still running just strait water, I think I will be adding a very low dose of nutrients this week as they are at that point soon. That’s it for this week, be back again next week! Cheers💨

Still trying to find the issue, I noticed that new growth mostly looked fine and the plants were growing quickly still after watering and leaf issues started popping up only after the soil had dried out quite a bit already. So was I underwatering? Was the EC in the soil rising after too much dryback? Still, the plants were quite light in color, but that did not seem like my biggest issue. I topped the GMO a few more times, because it had grown so tall. Finally I decided to put the Sour Strawberry seedling into the AutoPot as well.

(11/25-12/01) Hope everyone enjoys the daily progressions of overhead and side profile (Organized Chaos) Unfortunately they have too much of a toll for me to keep up with with 3 sets of grows going now, so this was the last week I am doing them on this set. I will try to add a video and black back or cover pics by end of week every week. Week 3 Notes & Observations: As mentioned last week, Plant 1 remains the supreme plant now and is producing nice stretch in the node spacing but is still showing a different type of leaf shape than plant 2. No issues from the mainline topping and they seem to be going okay. I will be topping again this weekend for the second of 3 total topping sessions. This topping will be 2 tops off the ends of the last and will produce 4 main colas. **OOPS** was being a little too aggressive in my HST while trying to set the mainline on both plants today. P1 was just a little rip of the skin, I taped her up and suspect she will be fine. However, on P2, I nearly snapped the whole branch off. I taped it and crossed my fingers hoping it works out in a week or two, but have serious doubts it will be able to mend such a large break. We'll see because I am posting ALL of the grow, the good and the bad. VPD and PPFD: This week I will hold the humidity in the tent to about 70-75% and temps will be monitored for 70- 75F daytime and 66-71F overnight. Im not adjusting my lights and look to control them 350ppfd max. Meaning slight increase over last week but mostly just growth increase. Feed & Monitor: ***All feeds with nutes use either a whole ratio or combination of "Veg Mix" and "Bloom Mix"concentrates DILUTED in water until a total ppm of add-in is reached using a (Total Dissolved Solids) TDS Meter measured in PPM (parts per million). The "Veg Mix" concentrate will eventually be added in smaller ratios and "Bloom Mix" concentrate will eventually replace the "Veg Mix" concentrate entirely. The ppm and ratios of each feed will be listed when I feed. Veg mix recipe is on week 2. Bloom Mix recipe will be noted in this top message of the week that I make it.*** Day 28 (last feed was day 22) Tested and Calibrated my ph pens. Starting weight from each pot was 18 lbs and 8 oz, P1 weighed 15lbs 12oz and P2 was 15lbs 4oz before feed. Each plant got 1 gallon of de-chlorinated tap water with 300ppm Veg Mix concentrate added (recipe on week 2 and makes 1 gallon at about 3600 to 4000ppm concentrate to dilute each feed, i.e. I only fed 300ppm above the purified water ppm this feed) The ph on this feed was balanced to 6.0ph to combat the original higher runoff ph from the first runoff feed. After feed P1 weighed 22lbs 3oz (21lbs 2oz after last feed) and P2 weighed 21lbs 14oz (20lbs 14oz after last feed). I got about 5cups of runoff on P1 (9 cups last feed) and 5 cups on P2 (7 cups last feed) . Runoff for P1 ph was 6.45 with 1170ppm (6.45ph with 980ppm last feed) and P2 was 6.45 with 1230ppm (6.45 with 1130ppm last feed). Top soil tested at: P1 6.35,6.3,6.33,6.33 for an avg of 6.327 (6.497 avg after last feed) and P2 tested at 6.47,6.37,6.26,6.51 avg 6.402 (6.46avg after last feed) - next feed will be 6.3ph as Im liking where the ph is so I dont see any issues, but will continue to monitor this way. Day 34 (last feed was day 28) Tested and Calibrated my ph pens. 1st Starting weight from each pot was 18 lbs and 8 oz. Before feeding this time, P1 weighed 14lbs 14oz (15lbs 12oz before last feed) and P2 was 14lbs 7oz before feeding (15lbs 4oz before last feed). Each plant got 1.5 gallons of de-chlorinated tap water with 98ppm Veg Mix concentrate added to flush any salt builds in the soil (recipe on week 2 and makes 1 gallon at about 3600 to 4000ppm concentrate to dilute in each feed, i.e. I only fed 98ppm above the de-chlorinated tap water ppm this feed) Due to this soil showing a possible calcium deficit, I am starting a 1ml per gallon add-in to test on all plants using this soil, so I added 1.5ml of CaliMagic (General Hydroponics 1-0-0) to each plant's feed then I ph balanced before feeding. The ph on this feed was balanced to 6.3ph. I used knitting needles to help both aerate the soil and create new water pathways for the roots. (a practice I may consider a new feeding standard) After feed, P1 weighed 21lbs 9oz (22lbs 3oz after last feed) and P2 weighed 21lbs 7oz (20lbs 14oz after last feed). I got about 11cups of runoff on P1 (5 cups last feed) and 11 cups on P2 (5 cups last feed). Higher runoff volume was expected with the feed volume increase for flush this round. Runoff for P1 ph was 6.65 with 838ppm (6.45 with 1170ppm last feed) and P2 was 6.60 with 879ppm (6.45 with 1230ppm last feed). Top soil tested at: P1 6.58,6.57,6.58,6.67 for an avg of 6.600 (6.327 avg after last feed) and P2 tested at 6.47,6.61,6.64,6.64 to avg 6.590 (6.402 avg after last feed) - next feed will be 6.0ph as I'm still liking where the ph is, but rather see it closer to 6.3 or 6.4 top and bottom. I dont see any issues with the feed's data other than the possible calcium deficit and I will continue to monitor runoff ppms as I expected this to be higher with more runoff. Hope everyone enjoys the daily progressions of overhead and side profile (Organized Chaos) Unfortunately they have too much of a toll for me to keep up with with 3 sets of grows going now, so this was the last week I am doing them on this set. I will try to add a video and black back or cover pics by end of week every week.
