Super busy with a move and a big garden reno. Sorry, this is the only update for this week

More like HST instead of LST. This week was all about low stress training or lst. But as it was for the very first time I would say it was more of a high stress trainig (for me of course). First ties I started already the previous week but this week was hard tie downs on pretty much every branch. Since I messed up the first week and put my lights on almost max power the plants didnt strech out for light and are pretty low and bushy. Thats why the space is really tight and lst is just the thing to do. I used a metal string since I think its better because I can adjust it more and all tension is not on the string. For the past 2 weeks or so I noticed some weird spots on one leaf. This week it went on 3 more leafs and on one more plant. After some research I found out thats a serious Calcium defficiency. Since I’m not from US I didn’t have the same things as in videos I watched. So I didnt get the regular cal mag. But instead some from local store and I must say it was bad choice. Way too less calcium. Ordered a proper one and hopefully it will come in the next fee days. Another interesting thing happened. At the beginning I was cinsidering toping. But after researching more decided no to go with it on the first grow. As the lack of calcium appeared I went full blast with feeding. And it appears thats I was underfeeding, since I thought that my coco was too wet. Guess what happened when I went from once in 3days to twice per day. Thats right. The growth was massive ! One of the metal strings somehow got stuck in the plant and when this acceleration happened it simply snaped itself of 😳 I must say I was a bit sad at the moment, but then I figured it’s some form of self-toping. Not that I wanted it to happen on my strongest plant. But will see what will happen out of it. Alltogether this was a nice week full of wide strech and a lot of new knowledge!

She just keeps getting chunkier. Growing steadily and without issues. This is the last week I’ll feed her big bud, then move onto begin flushing at around day 63. My only concern about this grow is the humidity being a tad high and AVT being so big she’s blocking the light to the babies in the corners. So far she smells like pine/tabaco/funk.

Water is 5.8 - Run off is perfect until I water 2 days later then it's 6.4-6.6 Trichomes still clear maybe 5% milky. I have the flawless finish so will only need to flush 1 week prior to snipping.

Still hot af in germany but we’re only watering her any 3-4 days. Over night she stands in the greenhouse, if there is a chance of rain we also put her inside the greenhouse.

On some pics you can see the orange trichomes so its getting time for the harvest soon. At D45 we stop fertilizing, now they will only get tap water (-pH) for the last 5 days, after that they will get 2 days of darkness

This is the week. I am watching the Tri's and looks like I should see some amber very soon. This will be a low yield but the bud quality will be very HIGH! The Jack's did well on just water and are very sticky. Harvest is near - Then it's off to Vegas Baby! Mid Week Check and due to my time frame I am going to harvest tomorrow evening -- I did harvest both tents. I must say the Green Crack is amazing. The buds are brilliant green, super dense & smell intense! The Jack Skellington's came out very well. The buds are fully developed, super sticky & very strong smell. The trichome's looked ready, mostly cloudy with sprinkles of orange - I can't wait to get these buds jarred up next week & get a final weigh in. I mostly look forward to some killer home grown bud! Hey guys . My cutting heating broke 3-4 weeks ago, which was fixed immediately and everything went wonderfully. Now, 3 days ago, the central heating broke down in the entire room, so that at night I only have temperatures of around 13 degrees :-( . One or the other lady is slowly starting to see a phosphorus blockage, as this can no longer be absorbed at temperatures below 15 degrees, like many other nutrients :-( . A friend looked at the heating yesterday and came to the conclusion that a real company had to do it, which is by no means possible for a stranger to enter my room. I quickly ordered heating mats for all the boxes so that the ladies could at least get warm feet. That's all I have this winter full can do . Let's hope everything will be fine 🙏🏻. As soon as the heating mats are attached in the coming days, I will post them in the pictures. Now for the update. Despite the severe cold, the ladies are still doing well and have made good progres . The ladies only had to be watered once this week, each time with 1 l, because it absorbs the water very slowly because of the cold and I don't want to overwater it. I took every single plant in the pot to take a close look at their roots. These are snow white and look very healthy 🙏🏻. It was also the last time neem oil sprayed so that the last trips are finally gone. Otherwise everything was checked and a lot of planning was done, like I do with the heating mats. Since a friend had the same problem in one winter and the heating mats got 10 degrees plus on the pots, I am very confident that it will at least bring something for the last cold month 😃 🙏🏻. Most likely the last week for Zkittlez Auto. Really enjoyed growing this strain. I’ve been flushing for a bit now and I think she’ll be really good by the end. Gas, Candy, berry, and skunk terpene profile. Covered in greasy trichomes and stacking buds on all angles.

The flowers develop very quickly, we can clearly see its autoflowering genes. A strong tropical smell is felt. The tips of the leaves are a little burnt Because of the strong sea wind loaded with salt...but not worrying for the future.

flushing week

Adding SLF 100 and Calmag to feeding. Although everything seems good, I'm going from tap to RO to have maximum control over my PPMs or TDS. Buds are really developing nice and she is still stretching. I appreciate any suggestions. ( Running CalMag, Photosynthesis Plus, and SLF 100)

After having my first plant that I gave hose water and sunlight be cut in half by a caterpillar, and my first indoor plant to get botrytis. This has been my first fully successful harvest and I couldn't be happier. Been listing to all of the GFYH podcast with Rasta Jeff and learned most of the steps through listening on repeat at work. This plant is very fun to grow, it will naturally fill it's canopy without much LST and occasionally topping. I have no complaints about the nutrients, mostly using FoxFarm items, the trio is nice and I can see the difference when I pushed to far either way with them, the plants would respond pretty quickly and I could fix and possibly compensate for the mistake and they would bounce back like nothing. Not having experience with other brands I'll say that I am happy enough to keep it as a constant variable for my personal refinement in becoming a better grower. I plan to continue growing this strain for a while so that I can have a way to see my improvement, and I will likely make another journal after at least a couple harvests.
