Hi all the happy people here in GrowDiaries. And hello to you who read my diary, I just want to say that I am pleased that you have chosen to check in with me and in my diary. I do this for myself and for a steady flow of my medicine. Everything you read and see in my diary is 100% honest and I will never distort or beautify anything here. I document my crops so that I can learn from my mistakes and also to look back at those different crops. I try to update with pictures every day and with text if something special has happened in the garden. This is my strainhunt for the best medicine and the beginning of my journey with cannabis and the cultivation of it. This is my second feminised cultivation ever. First, I'm just going to say something about my grow room. The room is 2.14 meters by 1.7 meters and has a ceiling height of 2 meters. It provides a floor area of ​​3.6 square meters. I use a 54 Watt Lightwawe T5 for germination and 2 Pcs 400 Watt HPS lamps for bloom. I have a channel fan that replaces the room air about 40 times an hour to get a comfortable environment in the room, the air enters a fresh air intake from the outside. The air is purified through a carbon filter to then leave the room to the rest of the basement. Then I use that heat to heat the rest of the basement. I will use 15 liter Autopots to grow with and a 100 liter water tank that supplies the pots of water and nutrition. I will grow completely organically in soil and will watercure my buds to get the best possible medicine for me. Medical Mass is a new medical cannabis strain with a high CBD content and a low THC level that provides good medical properties without a strong psychoactive effect. This is a mostly indica plant that contains 40% sativa and 60% indica. Critical Mass and CBD rich strain were crossed to create this amazing valuable variety. The plant suits both for indoors and outdoors, for beginner and experienced growers. The strain grows up to 60 - 100 cm tall and produces good yields for such height of about 500 - 550 gr/m2. The plant demonstrates great results even in small spaces. The flowering time takes only 7-8 weeks and the harvest comes in late September. The smoke brings very strong, intense flavors with sweet notes of honey and skunk and an intense pleasant relaxation. This #42 and #40 plants from Ganja Farmer Seeds where the best out of them all, this is a bias review though as they where not all grown in the same bucket system as these two and thus could not grow to their true potential. The bugs where solid rock hard and crystaly They are true keepers if your wanted a good performing auto for shits and giggle outdoors. The major downside is how easily they got pests and how the pests preferred them over the other weed plants. this is a bit concerning to me and makes me wonder why. On the grow itself, I just got twice as much yield with 1/3 fewer plants by switching to coco and CocoTek, I would count that a win. Zero stress so I was right, grow them without stress and you will be rewarded. Just the easiest best smelling little plant to grow. Always germs well and produces long as you treat her right. They're all very healthy looking, one has some slight yellowing which should disappear soon with our change but all plants are extremely small for their size.. we've been letting these dry out completely between watering so I'm convinced there's a genetic component to this. We've had a few other strains start extra slow for us in the past and one in particular that started slow and then took off like wildfire around week 5 so I'm not too concerned ..they're each using 3gal square (plastic) pots willed with fresh Promix-HP..they're getting a little bit of Big Bloom with smaller amounts of Grow Big with every other watering now and this has corrected the odd hue we noticed around wk3.. So this is my first diary here and I'm going to start from week 11 so there's should only be another week or two left. My next one I'll do properly from the start. Also this feeding schedule was the last ammendment I did but was in week 10 and not this week. As I only started on week 11 I thought I'd just add it to show what I've given her. This is just 1 Northern Lights Autoflower from Royal Queen Seeds. I've topped her twice and done some LST and lollipopped just as she was going into flower..which was around week 5. I use 100% organic top soil amendments from Living Soils every 2 weeks. I water about 2 days after the top soil goes completely dry only in the mornings. And she's on a 20/4 light cycle. I vegged her in a standard plastic pot then transplanted at the end of week 5 into a 10l pot with the coco loaded with all of the above (minus the guano which I added at the start of week 3 of flower) with the aim of her hitting those amendments at the right time..so I wouldn't have to amend again for another 2 weeks which seemed to work out. I tested the run off shortly after the first feeding for flowering and it was really high - 3000ppm - alongside the pH which which was really low - 4.89 (as expected as its runoff) however I had oyster shell in that first feeding which should help raise the pH and my local tap water is hard so there's extra Calcium and a bit of Megnesium in there too. I also added a couple of drops of biobizz ph+ to the water. And with the mycorrhizae..which should kick in and colonise the root system in about 3 to 4 weeks..should create a mycillium network to help this living soil regulate everything!! Which it did as I tested the runoff again everytime I fed (every 2 to 3 days) and it slowly went down ending up at 1000ppm and a pH of 5.9 which was spot on. I also had a massive scare as I found small white bugs in the medium when I disturbed the top soil. Thinking they were spider mites thankfully they were Symphalans which after researching eats seedling roots or decaying organic matter..so they're essentially cleaning the medium..and they stay under the soil away from the light. She is pretty small and compact. I'm testing autoflowers as I've never tried them before. I'm slightly annoyed as I knocked my dimmer down to 60% without realising..so out it back to 100% and as a result I'm guessing she may have been stunted along with topping her twice or maybe it's just the strain. But I have seen other a lot bigger. But she is looking really healthy and has done from the start. The colour you see has been there from the start and she hasn't had any deficiencies. Tricones are coming along nicely and some of the sugar leaves look like they're starting to deplete in nutritients as they're going slightly yellow on the edges so not long. I'm guessing 2 more weeks from today but I wouldn't be surprised if she hits 13 weeks which is what I'm hoping for as her last feed was last week which would give her an extra week to 'flush'. Also the Bat Boost from Guanokalong has an NPK ratio of 0-10-0 and not 0-0-2 like it states. The plants are ranging from 36”-38”…. We just purchased Flower Fuel for the buds. And pruned all the plants this week. Lastly we gave the plants pH balanced water with loranne flavor extract and unsulfured molasses.

Edit: I came home from work after making my weekly log entry yesterday and I could smell my grow from my driveway... so I asked for help. THANK YOU OOZLEFINCH FOR THE HELP.. THIS IS WHY WE ASK FOR HELP... I left a question on here stating that my new canister wasn't working and asked for generic advise. He left an answer that pointed out the fact that my exhaust fan might be set waaaay to high... and it was! It turns out there's a limit to the amount of air that filter fan 'scrub', and my exhaust fan goes way over that limit even on 6 or 7.. I turned it down to 3 and the smell got better immediately. ☮️ Still on auto pilot at this point... I'm really close to harvest.. and I'm not even on day 60 😲. I created videos this weeks, they capture the plants in ways that a still picture just won't. My entire house stinks.. my neighbors are looking at my funny, and my wife thinks a family of skunks is hiding in our walls... I've never had this problem.. I even got a brand new carbon air scrubber and its not helping 🤣 Process/ Environment changes since last week: - To help preserve the terpenes I've been trying to lower my temperature, which is hard without an AC unit I'm not plugging in an ac just to grow some plants. I'm at 24- 26 degrees C (75 - 82 F). - I've been lowering my humidity accordingly to keep VPD in a good range - I lowered my lights closer to my plants, turning them up would just add to the heat. - I'm defoliating as much large fan leaves off as possible - My watering pH is at around 6.7 to 6.8.. I will not be flushing these plants - I rotate my plants every day to make sure I'm getting light to hit every node it can This week I'm pulling out the digital scope and doing the first trichome checks for these babies. The cheese auto is going to get the chop by the end of next week.. I hope you like the video I added of it.. it's the easiest plant I've ever grown and she's going to be FIRE. The blackberry auto is giving off a gas/berry smell and is very sticky to the touch. A beautiful triploid... my first and I hope to get many more. The Forbidden Runtz smells just like a zkittles does, it's bang on. Very dense very sticky buds. I almost tossed her during the seedling stage too due to her mutation. Harvest was done on a lovely summer day. Since summer was approaching, half of the harvest was hung upside down with the classic 60/60 and rest is stored in a wine cooler for drying. There’s also an oscillating fan below for airflow!

D71: She seems to have grown a bit in the last day and the pistils are for sure looking more orange than white. Now I´ll keep an eye on the thricomes, still clear yet with little cloudy, using the microscope. This one, unlike her unfortunate sister, I intend to let develop to full maturity. No watering yet as she still has some. D72: Everyday I´m checking for rot, and it wasn´t today. D73: Watered 2L with 1,5ml of cal-mag trying to resolve a possible iron deficiency. D74: The pistils are all orange already but the thrics are yet mostly cloudy. She seems very close to harvest tho. D75: Found a little set of leaves from a larf that were starting to want to rot and blocking airflow so I just cut them off. Humidity is high ( and I´m having trouble and no budget to control it ) and her thricomes aren´t developing in the pace the pistils are starting to turn orange. Otherwise, the buds are incredibly beautiful, with nice purple colors on the sugar leaves and some calyxes and a big big amount of thricomes everywhere! D76: Well, today when I arrived at home and went to see the tent I noticed mold on her. The thricomes were about 20-25% clear unfortunately but I had to chop her, I can´t control the high humidity at the lights off period and it would only get worse and I would lose much more buds. The overall size was ok, very big buds – which I lost at least 25% of them -, mostly medium buds, both very beautiful and dense, and a huuuge amount of larfs that were hidden in the middle, but I can´t blame that on anyone else except myself. The smell is incredible tho, looking forward to smoke her. In the next weeks I´ll be updating with the harvest week and strain review. Thank you for reading, stay safe and peace ✌️

All week I have been doing root flushing

Growing nice and strong. She's trowing flowers like crazy. No issues to date thankfully. From here on out it's just light defoliation. Other than that I'm going to let her grow from now on with no more LST being that my training was a success imo. Now it's just a waiting game.
