Ciao a tutti! Ho finalmente finito il mio primo giro in idroponica. Dunque, al netto dei miei errori che avevo messo in preventivo, è un metodo davvero ottimo per coltivare. Salta subito all'occhio la velocità palese con cui crescono le piante, molto di più rispetto al metodo classico a terra. A suo favore posso anche dire che lascia molto più pulito il box non avendo terra e quant'altro. I vasi da svuotare sono pratici, mi sono segnato però delle tacche per segnare i livelli a diversi litri, da poter capire come fare quando si deve rabboccare di acqua. Le note dolenti. Beh innanzitutto sconsigliato assolutamente a luglio e agosto per via delle temperature, l'acqua nel vaso dovrebbe stare a 22 gradi al massimo, io stavo almeno a 5 in più. Poi, avendo 35 litri d'acqua in 3 vasi e avendo 10 prodotti da utilizzare nella quantità di 2 ml/l, non posso dire che sia la via più economica. Anche se bisogna valutare anche che, soprattutto in vegetativa, si rabboccano i prodotti anche a distanza di 2 settimane,quindi con ampie pause tra una volta e l'altra. Ho sbagliato a calcolare l'allungamento quando le ho girate in fioritura, si sono allungate almeno il doppio di quello che pensavo e così facendo non si sono formati dei bei fiori apicali grossi, ma tanti fiori sulla stessa ramificazione e quindi ci ho rimesso almeno in impatto visivo di sicuro. Però questa è una cosa che dipende dalla velocità dell'idroponica, la prossima volta lo so e mi comporterò di conseguenza. Nota dolente assai: la muffa. Ho sbagliato a volerla fare nel periodo estivo, fa troppo caldo e per mitigare la temperatura ho usato anche l'umidificatore in fioritura. Errore madornale, ho buttato via 60-70 grammi. Già l'estate scorsa ho avuto problemi di temperatura, la prossima sicuramente non coltiverò, sono stato un cretino.

I was running out of space and no matter what I did I couldn’t get her back. I will add more pics but it’s just too cold in the garage to have them out. This has got to be one of the hardest grows i have done. I always knew starting this early in the year was going to be hard and it’s proving that way. And again a massive shout to James and the team at RQS for supporting me and supplying me with the seeds. 🙌 Here we are week 6 the start of the second week of flower. This lady is moving along alright (I think) although the cold weather is back and has not been to kind over the last couple days. She is still stretching out which is good, some sativa characteristics coming through. Just signs of cold which isn’t the best. The bud sites are forming slowly and the structure of these plants looks good. Let’s see what this week brings. ✌️ Day 37, Watered tonight with 500mil she is doing ok. Added some nutrients in today as she has only been on plain water and looking a little faded. I’ll try get some pics later but it’s too cold to be in the tent any longer than I need to be. ✌️ Day 38, warmer today and this girl is finally starting to love life. Nothing done today just a few photos and a little video. ✌️ Day 39, watered with 500mil and a bit of feed. Took a few leafs off too. ✌️

Spent some time just defoliating the girls last night, tried not to go too far but you get lost😂 Also did some Pruning/Lollipoping to Increase that airflow 💨 Happy so far! Stinking now

Week 8 saw the plant stack on some very nice starter buds. I can already see where the colas will stack and fill out to form lovely nuggets by the end of the run. They look to be dense already which is always a great sign! Weather here in OK has been vacillating between overcast rainy days and full sun not-a-cloud-in-the-sky weather so she has spent an equal amount of time under an HID as she did the sun since the last update. Usually she is outdoors from 11am to sundown and then I move her inside under the HID for night hours. She gets a four hour lights off in early morning before setting her back out in time to catch the noon sun. It seems to have worked pretty well splitting her time in this way and I feel a lot better about it than if I just let her spend 24/7 outside. I feel her auto genetics would not benefit from the extra dark time associated with a pure outdoor run. She already doesn't get full sun for the entirety of her time outside due to trees and other houses blocking sun during certain parts of the day. This seems to be a nice balance but I realize it doesn't qualify as a true outdoor run. Still doing daily checks for aphids and other undesirables as Oklahoma has lots of them that can devastate a plant in a matter of days if not monitored closely. I keep her a good distance from my other outdoor plants and she never touches the ground. So far so good. I did lollipop her toward the middle of this week and proceeded the next day with aggressive defoliation to open up light penetration to the rest of the mid-section. As always, the cultivar responded well to my interference. I am seeing some rusty spots on otherwise green leaves and some very light yellowing of the plant overall. I hit her with another dose of nutrients and some recharge to hopefully correct. Not sure what the rusty spots are; hoping just some pH flux that will be easy to correct. Did some defoliation now that they are solid into flower, to keep air flow to cut down on chances of mold and to expose lower bud sites to sunlight. I also fertilized again with about 2 buckets of 14 total gallons of water with above nutes minus flora gro, at 1300 ppms aprox.

They look fat i hope but will be heavy 😀

Some are swelling , one is smelling very different to the others . I seem to have 6 phenos from small to tall and rounded buds to thin spear shaped buds. I'm not sure which is my favourite yet but one has a very unique smell almost like pineapple and exodus cheese , it could be that one but I also like the bud formation on another,, we will see

Harvested the second plant. She was smaller bud her buds were STACKED. She is 164g wet so let's hope for an oz. UPDATE: 1.4oz out of the smaller plant for a total of 3.5 oz for the whole grow. Thanks for following along everyone!

They are titchy one will be no more than 15g the other 30g but it was a fun run. Beautiful big fat buds and I would really like another go with these under less pressure with the circumstances. I will add more photos! ** OK more photos added so yeah my guess was close a nice yield for the small space and little effort put in. I'm excited to see how my ones from scratch will turn out from my other diary🤩

Totaly forgot to take some pics from the dutch passion strains this week... all I got is a group photo and short video! Could have been a bit more hands on with the training but seems a like a nice and even canopy it´s emerging 😍 Defoliated a bit and trimmed the lower branches.

Day 63 I cut out the bottom of my tent to raise it to the top of the rdwc buckets giving me another 15" of space. It was getting tight and i don't want to keep dimming my light. Had to remove my screen, I'll build in another one if the buds get too heavy. Starting week four in flower for the two on the left (few days seperation) starting week 2ish for the girl on far right.
