Had to bend the tops of two because they were about to hit the ceiling of the greenhouse. Removing the greenhouse is near impossible at this point, its anchored in the ground and holds supplemental lighting and venelation. Starting to see flowering nodes form! Finally haha. I really love these plants so far, been a blast to grow. Switched to transitional bloom nutes, next week probably no more gro pro. Really dissapointed that I didnt have more head room for these babies. I will be DEFINITELY be growing these again. Totally sativa tree like characteristics and an interesting smell of earthy/sweet/musty.

Hi growers, Another week of flowering is behind us. Trichome production is very strong, the aroma is intense and pungent, and the buds are noticeably sticky. The plant is still gaining weight, but rather slowly. I think this plant won’t be a yield champion, but the flavor and aroma could easily make up for it. Peace and happy growing ✌️

Well she has had 2 feeds and has doubled in size in the last week. No signs of flowering yet but looking very healthy. I have stopped lst as she is very bushy and making it hard to train.

i was surprised that she was done on 2/15/25 spidermites had completely taken over one bud so i decided to check trichomes and she seemed ready.

Week 2 and nice and green, we just gave some more organic nutrients like palm tree ash and some guanokalong powder, for the moment its seems to be all good, in 2 weeks I'll be adding some sugars and some more PK

I will always go organic from now! Especially using rqs nutrients had the best grow and the best outcome I’ve ever had! Dense buds all over and end weights matched that! And I didn’t even top it or stress it Too much! Wanted to see what happened if I just let it grow and I’m amazed! Royal queen seeds deserves the top place!

25/04/2023 Day 69 I cut the "twins" and finally discovered the inside of the DWC MyPot. I took lots of pics so you can see the unexpected plant of the seed that I lost in the clay and then germinated anyway and found an awkward path to the surface through a tiny hole! Unbelievable! I also found that the watering tube from the pump had moved during manipulation, don't know for how long it has been pressed between the upper and lower parts on the DWC. Pretty sure for that final plants had received less or no feeding solution, and the use of Clean might not have been efficient. I guess it's also the reason why I found the white (?) on the top of the clay, salts and something else, because of lack of watering. Will come back in 3 weeks, will be dry and then I'll can trim and weight. And smoke, yeah! Not expecting much and could be hard to smoke if the cleaning was not efficient. Anyway, the next one will be better!

She may have taken longer to flip (since she germinated later), but she’s now pushing out strong, healthy white hairs that signal the start of her bulking stage. This week’s studio and improvised studio photos capture this perfectly—the transition from “flower set” to flower building. ⸻ 💧 Feeding Update – Simplifying for Strength This week, we made an important nutritional adjustment: • Removed: Aptus All-in-One Liquid & Aptus Top Booster • Kept: • Aptus Regulator – 0.15 ml/L • Aptus CalMag Boost – 0.25 ml/L • Plagron Power Buds – 1 ml/L • Plagron Sugar Royal – 1 ml/L • Plagron Green Sensation – 1 ml/L Why this change? At this stage, the super soil’s NPK balance (nitrogen, phosphorus, potassium) is already strong enough to sustain healthy growth and flower formation. Adding the All-in-One Liquid or Top Booster would risk redundancy, too much nutrient overlap can actually slow the plant down, cause salt build-up, or push her into unnecessary stress. Her pistils are now bursting and forming thick clusters, but she still sits a bit behind her sister. This difference is natural: Pheno #2 germinated later and is effectively running on a slightly younger internal clock. The 11/13 light schedule (11 hours on, 13 hours off) means she is easing into flower at her own rhythm. 👉 What this means: Both plants are thriving, but don’t expect them to bulk or finish at the same exact time. This staggered development could actually be a gift—two harvest windows, two terpene expressions, one journey. Educational takeaway: Even seeds from the same strain can flower on different schedules. 2018-03-13 Week 11 Day 1 As I mentioned last week, the girls are growing like crazy since I changed to 600W HPS,and even though they haven't grown so much higher, they are definetly wider because of LST. My growroom is only about 1.8m2, so now the girls are so wide that there's not enough space for them to get wider, so now I will let them stretch. Nr 1 is 44 cm Nr 2 is 39 cm 2018-03-14 Day 2 I LST'd the girls one last time and also defoliated them mildly so all the tops get as much light as possible,hopefully increasing the yield in the end. I also turn the girls 1/4 lap every day to ensure that all sides of them get as much exposure to light as possible, it would've been great to have some kind of turntable that turns the girls 1 lap in 12 hours,, but until I find out a device that does just that,I'll keep on doing ti manually. Added some videos for you to enjoy. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Strain information Genetics for the famous Power Plant were captured by a group of Dutch growers on a trip to South Africa, back in the 90’s. They managed to breed a strain that was soon a popular choice in coffee shops of the Netherlands, most likely due to the soaring and intense Sativa high. Zambeza Seeds thought that the productiveness of Power Plant should never be forgotten and created an updated version, to bring the legend back to live. Power Plant XL yields up to 600-750g/m² in a flowering period of approximately 55 days! The efficiency and productiveness of Power Plant XL fears no comparison with many recently bred cannabis strains. Indoor heights of 80-110cm make this sativa-dominant variety relatively easy to grow, but outdoor growers need to be aware of the power that is being released under the sun. Outdoor plants can easily reach heights of 150-200cm, and yields of 500-600g per plant. The taste of Power Plant XL can be described as a delightful blend of sweet and sour flavours, with subtle hints of pine tree in the background. Smokers who appreciate a very strong and uplifting Sativa high will be more than satisfied with the effects. One will experience feelings of euphoria that are definitely intense and uplifting, typical for a South African Sativa like this. The up-high can also evolve into being more relaxed, especially when larger quantities are being consumed. Some people suspect Power Plant to be grown in large commercial operations around the world. It doesn’t really matter if these assumptions are the truth or myths, but Zambeza’s breeders are very proud to bring this highly productive legend back to live.
