01-11-2021: Good afternoon everyone... here we are again. My Bruce Banger will be ready in a week so I thought... I can probably germinate some seeds. I still have a lot of them (thanks to zamnesia) Every now and then I also post a report on Growdiaries and since you can only enter a competition there by using only one Strain I decided to put a round of Wedding Cake. I wanted to grow this variety when I still got my seeds from seedstockers, but found it too expensive at the time. Now I had two fish vouchers from zamnesia, each one good for 5 Wedding Cake Auto seeds. I didn't really like AFs per se (although I enjoy the result every day) so I called them and asked if I couldn't get Photos instead of Autoflowers... That was no problem at all, so I now have 10 have seeds. I have not yet found a method of germination on Hydro that works well for me, so we're going to do it in the most reliable way for me... old-fashioned in Cocos plugs. I let it fill itself with acidified (PH5.9) water and then provided each plug with a seed. I now put this under a 60W purple LED lamp that I still had from my very first cultivation attempt. Once they are up (I'm guessing/hope with a week) these will go into my budget system to grow there under 480W LM301H panels for a few weeks but with only 12 hours of light. The idea is to move these to the large closet as soon as they are about 4 weeks old, but that is not necessarily a requirement because you can also remove the lamps from that loft and move them to this room. That depends a bit on the size. What I'm going to test this round is how good/bad 12/12 from seed is doing in Hydro. Since most feeding schedules with hydro assume that you only pre-grow 1 week, I thought I might as well rule out that one week. In addition, from the moment the roots emerge from under the net pots, I want to increase the EC to 1.5 fairly quickly. I like small stocky plants without having to scrog. Maybe I'll top and maybe even mainline, but that depends entirely on the development of the ladies. In any case, there will be no feeding computer for the first few weeks (a bluelab Guardian) and as growth food they are given Hy-Pro Hydro A/B with Calmag (4-4-1 ratio). I expect very low temperatures in space so it won't be a banger. I have the impression that a correct root temperature compensates to some extent. I'm still looking for a way to transport the ladies in the right way (or I have to find a way to be able to use the same net pots in both systems). But that is of later concern. Since I only have 1 pre-growth room and 1 flowering room, I will put these ladies in a kitchen cupboard for the next week. The Bruce Banger goes on Sunday and then I can put them in there. The idea is to continue breeding on 12/12 from now on. After six weeks, new seeds will always germinate and no more than 5 at a time. I now make a round with originally 15 ladies, 3 of them were left behind in such a way that I took them out (to prevent rot) with the probable cause of too little light. 5 Planting will probably yield a little less, but hey, I can't finish it otherwise. And now my friends are very happy with my clearing days but of course that is not what I grow for. In addition, it also hurts a bit to give away 3-4 ounces after so many months of work. Shes looking good. Still has those light spots shes growing fine so im not worried. I had my math wrong for the nutes last week and fixed that this week i have to remember i planted her two weeks after the blueberry so shes gonna be smaller but the past few days she started getting a little taller im excited to see her start to stretch. Feeding them 1.5 litre now and theyre drying out almost every other day. 3 days later and shes already dry so i gave her an extra litre of water this feed. Made sure to adjust the math for the nutes Shes getting even taller but her leaves were small and bunched up and were keeping alot of light from the buds in the crotches so i took a decent amount off but left a good amount. The pistils are starting to turn to buds so im excited to that start Nothing to complain about.

Ok another week closer.... The girls are stacking and blowing up, everything is perfect.... The room smells like a chocolate store, love it. Nothing really new ...but started dropping down on PPMs ....if they are not eating the nutrients why feed them it....... Now is just ripening time...the next couple of weeks ..mmmm can't wait for some Cookies.

We have a stand out! There is one beautiful girl that is showing some beautiful colour, structure, frostiness, and fade ❤️ they are all very dense and frosty but this one girl has stolen the show. I cut their nutrients to almost nothing after running phd water for two waterings consecutively, still a few more weeks to go. Calibrated pH meter. Was a little reading high. Started tracking runoff for each plant separately. Mex is very brittle. Broke another branch. Still pretty full. Seem to have the base nutrients dialed in. pH is not longer an issue. Growth is still moderate to slow. Holding off on final topping until nodes grow better. Realized I pruned too high and I lost the node I was going to top for. Plants range from about 6” (bw3) to “10 (mex)

Hey growmies! ✌️ Time for another update on the Frosty Tooth growing in the Minigrow One. We’re currently at day 19 since switching to the bloom phase, and the first signs of bud development are starting to show. The buds are still small, but it’s a promising start! The plant is staying incredibly compact, but the leaves are growing in abundance. To give her some breathing space, I had to do two rounds of heavy defoliation. The difference is already noticeable—she looks much tidier and healthier now. 🌱 I’m really curious to see how much she’ll stretch as the buds continue to develop. I’ve heard that the buds can grow so tall they almost touch the protective glass below the grow light without getting burned. Let’s put that to the test and see how far she can go! 😅

Well hello! Thanks for checking out this new week for the mac 1's from Zamnesia 3 of the 4 are growing quite uniform, but 1 is a bit slower as you can see on the pictures. I hope she will soon catch up with the others, but we will see how it goes. Stay tuned if you are also interested!

~ FASTBUDS TESTER #2206 ~ Well friends, here we go on another 'canna-venture' together! The grow room has had a complete remodel and some upgrades done to it including brand spanking new 4x8 and 4x4 tents and a Trolmaster Hydro X controller along with a new Control Panel. This tester strain is one of six tester strains that FastBuds has graciously provided me with and I'm looking forward to seeing what this girl has to offer when she's grown to her full potential! One drawback of 'testers' is I have little to no information on it other than its number and that it's an autoflower... 🤪 But, it's ALWAYS a blast growing them for me because not knowing a lot allows me to just concentrate on the essentials: Light, Environment, Water, Nutrients and possibly a bit of LST... not complicated, just basics like keeping a constant temperature and RH in the tent at a level that gives a good VPD, watering when almost dry and maintaining proper light levels according to their stage of growth. ____________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ ~THE SETUP~ ~Initially seeds were lightly scuffed, then soaked for 3 hours in 78℉ distilled water after which they were transferred to moist paper towels laid out in a Jiffy Pellet plastic starter tray with lid. Underneath the tray was placed a Vivosun Heat Mat with Controller that was set to 78℉ where they stayed until their tap roots emerged. ~Planted into Jiffy Peat Pellets that were hydrated with distilled water warmed to 78℉ with a 7.0 ph. ~Once roots emerge from the Jiffy Pellet they're transferred to their fabric pots. ~Grown 100% organic in a 4g Gronest fabric pot and a 3g fabric pot by Wraxly filled with Mother Earth 70/30 Coco/Perlite medium and initially amended with Dr. Earth 4-4-4 / Earthworm Castings / Dr. Earth Flower Girl 3-9-4 and Coast of Maine Stonington Blend Organic Plant Food 5-2-4. ~19/5 light cycle for the entire run with supplemental UVA added during flower. Lights are controlled by a Trolmaster Hydro X controller set for a 15min Sunrise/Sunset simulation. ~Top dressing every 3-4 weeks with slow release dry amendments and Earthworm castings. ~Straight water ph'd @ 6.2-6.8 when needed and bi-weekly Compost Tea's. ____________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ Weekly Updates: 1/19- Here we go into Week Four of flower and these testers are ON FIRE!🔥🔥🔥 Both testers are in a flower frenzy and are ready to eat! Today I gave both girls their last top dressing with Down To Earth 4-8-4 Flower Mix at a ratio of 2tbsp/g and Coast of Maine's Stonington Blend 5-2-4 Organic Plant Food at a ratio of 1tbsp/g which I simplified by using 1/3 cup of the 4-8-4 and 1/4 cup of the 5-2-4 in the 4g pot and 3/8 cup of 4-8-4 and 1/8 cup of the 5-2-4 in the 3g pot. After working the amendments into the medium, I watered it in with 1g of straight de-chlorinated water ph'd to 6.6 @ 74℉. It will take a week for the microbes to begin breaking it down and will last for 3-4 weeks after that which should coincide with them finishing up, or close to it, enabling them to naturally 'flush' themselves out. I've also increased the power to the HLG 650R's the the Trolmaster Hydro X Controller to 75% which has them pulling 990w at the wall and have them hung 32" above canopy. I also starting adding in 4 hours of UVA during the middle of the light cycle for the remainder of flower. I've been monitoring their leaf temperatures and they're running 71-73℉ which is perfect! I have the AutoPilot APC8200 co2 Controller set to 1100ppm with a 100ppm window and the AC Infinity Cloudline T6 controller set to maintain a 74℉ temperature in the tent while the lights are on. 1/21- I'm watering these thirsty girls daily with straight de-chlorinated water ph'd it to 6.6 @ 74℉ and they're both thriving! The #1 pheno stays in a perpetual state of 'praying'.... a VERY happy girl she is and the #2 is just an enormous plant with tons of bud sites and flowers that are starting to get a coating of white trichomes giving them that frosty appearance! 1/23- I watered/fed both testers today with 0.75g of de-chlorinated water each with GreenGro's Natures Brix, Granular Myco and Flower Finisher mixed in, after which I added 1 tsp/g of unsulfured molasses and then ph'd it to 6.6 @ 74℉. They'll be getting straight water from here moving forward as the medium has enough food in it to support them until they finish. 1/25- Daily watering continued today with both girls receiving 0.75g of straight de-chlorinated water ph'd to 6.6 @ 74℉. OMG they're both looking fantastic, both are amazing cultivars with a generous coating of trichomes beginning to cover their flowers. Bueno como siempre innovando... He aprovechado y he cambiado de agua ,antes de no poner abonos he dejado recirculado 2 días agua , con peróxido de hidrógeno... Para limpiar raíces , y excesos también limpio cubos... La mezcla es de 1ml /litros me han dado carencias , pero es normal porque he dejado la planta sin abono 2 días en pero habré limpiado perfectamente la raíces y preparándola para abono floración..

All 3 plants are adapting very well to LST, the shape its growing into have been allowing the light to reach further into the lower growth nodes and branches. I like to start bending the branches close to the main stem as early as week 3 of VEG. Now these 3 Northern Lights Auto seeds are from Sun West Genetics, they were all germinated, planted, trained, fed the same way they have been on the same controlled environment since day 1, the 3 are totally different, I know each plant is unique in its own way, but I find strange that 1 plant is taller and stronger than the other 2, the smaller one is growing weak leaves with signs of mutation, all 3 plants show signs of Magnesium deficiency, these 3 plants are sharing a grow tent with a Haze Auto from Seedsman, all 4 plants are under the same diet, the Haze have no signs of deficiencies or mutations, I guess that shows what good genetics look like. For the Magnesium deficiency I have mixed my own Epson salts into water and applied as a foliar spray, internet said the spray should be used every other week, wait 2 weeks to see results. Signs of Nutes burn, I decided to stop feeding for this coming week. The 3 NL leaves are looking unhappy, kind of clawing under, they look lifeless, I have ruled off a few potential problems such as: Wind Burn Under Watering Water PH Light Burn, just moved the QB higher to 17 inches from the highest canopy today.
