After a 6-week cure, it smells really spicy with creamy undertones. The buds are extremely dense and sticky. When vaped, the smoke is smooth but doesn’t have much flavor. It’s an energetic high — not the optimal strain for an insomniac like me who likes to smoke before bed, but I already knew that. Overall, if you enjoy sharp, spicy, and slightly gassy terps, I’d highly recommend this strain. My DIY lamp has 6-watt UVA leds. Maybe if I hadn’t run it at full blast the whole time, the aroma would’ve leaned more toward sweet and less toward spicy/caryophyllene-heavy. 84gramms dry for 86watt! pretty happy with that.

I’m week behind due to work a lot these days but here’s my girl on day 39 of flower. Starting to fill out more nicely now. Did some minor LST and defoliating as well to open up the canopy a bit. Patiently counting the days down till harvest. A little over 3 weeks left for this girl. One more feeding with nutrients and then every feeding afterwards will be plain water. Till next update ✌️🏾

Week starting 4/10/2019 Spotted a few aphids today on some of the yellowing leaves - confirmed with the magnifying glass. Humidity continues to be an issue as I cannot seem to lower it below 60% at best, averaging 65%. The extraction currently is pulling the air from the tent into the room - will need to look into taking it outside of the house before looking at dehumidifiers. White powdery mildew is more prevalent on some of the tops. Manually wiping them off with a wet cloth each day. 05/10 - Applied nematodes today to all 4 pots (https://www.biogroei.fr/stenema). Had to apply it with water at pH6.5 08/10 - Watered all 4 plants to keep the soil moist for the nematodes. #1 08/10 - Watered at pH6.3 at 17 deg 10/10 - Feed of Vega at pH6.4 at 19.8 deg, EC 1.84 - still seems stunted during flowering and behind the others of same strain by a week or two. #2 08/10 - Watered at pH6.3 at 17 deg 10/10 - Feed of Vega at pH6.4 at 19.8 deg, EC 1.84 (pot was not dry yet, should have waited another day or two with feeding) - colas are still developing nicely whilst continuing with the leaf loss. - defoliated and cut all small branches with flowers at the bottom. #3 08/10 - Watered at pH6.3 at 17 deg 10/10 - Feed of Vega at pH6.4 at 19.8 deg, EC 1.84 (pot was not dry yet, should have waited another day or two with feeding) - a few curled/twisted leaves. Continues to need the most frequent watering - most probably due to the limited 7L pot. #4 08/10 - Watered at pH6.3 at 17 deg - is not drinking a lot of water compared to the other 3 G13 Haze strains. - getting close to harvest time, still not showing big signs of nutrient deficiencies or other issues. Some purple leaves at the very top of the main cola.

Very fun strain to grow. Easy to train and love to get big. We had 2 different expressions on the plants and both where very pleasing. Both plants grew vigorously and provided me with just over 3/4 pound of dry medicine!

I got at least 2 vids this time , in the next week a lil bit more , i use the whole hesi nutrient pack btw and are really impressed what LED and a noob scrog grow results to , don´t get me wrong but its a huge difference to hps and some untopped plants under it ;) , happy about all feedback btw. The small growing Orange Lemon in mid seems to have a lot more haze DNA . Left Gran Jefa, right back Fullgas , right Front and mid Lemon Orange.

I add Terpinator (30mL/Gal) when I water manually. 2020 was an exceptionally warm summer in Quebec. Seeded on May 20th Sprouted on May 23rd Kept in nursery (watered with tap water + B1 vitamin (3ml/L) until Transplanted outside June 16th No Technique applied, she grows as she feels the needs.

11/23 - Update 1 day early. Will make measurements and update accordingly tomorrow, as usual. I did a top off at 75% strength nutes. She is drinking 1.5 gallons per week (approximately). Trying to hold her ~850ppm @ 5.9pH. Her canopy is nice and open and bud-sites are stacking nicely. I'm hoping for some additional stretch over the next 7-10 days to give me an increased yield. Looking forward to seeing what pheno I ended up with. 11/24 - Updated stats. 850ppm, 9" above screen (so 15" total). Measured pH of 5.3, added 1ml GH pH UP to adjust; will check again later. Light adjusted for optimal canopy between both plants. I might end up re-orienting the lights in the other direction. The distance from the flowers varies between 12"-16" because some of them are stretching up more than others. I still think it only has a slight aroma, but she still has a ways to go. If she goes the full 13 weeks (~90 days), then harvest would be on 29 Dec (Happy Birthday!). Later on 11/24 - Uploaded videos of buds and roots. 11/28 - Went ahead and supercropped/HST the tallest stalk. Today 7/30/19, day 57 and the start of week 9. I'm still continuing to alternate between days with my pesticide treatment (especially after finding that bug living on one of hulkberries fan leaf) and thrive alive green daily foliage spray as a prophylactic solution against any possible pests or mold going into these last few dog days of veg. I will flush them with distilled ph'd water for two days this weekend in preparation for flower. Then I'll start them on some "flower fuel" bloom booster on top of my secret for success flower recipe at 1/4 of the recommended strength. Outside of that still no adverse issue to report for the end of the 8th week. After my last trim, they both have responded very nicely, I was kind of worried about fat banana stalled growth. But one thing I noticed when I topped her at the 6th node, yes the main stem stopped growing but it developed many bud sites up and down every stem. Whereas hulkberry was topped at the 8th node, she has mainly focused on developing long stems and only 2 or 3 bud sites along her stems. Even though hulkberry in structure, is much bigger than fat banana and has a way bigger root system. Fat banana is bushier and has developed way more bud sites than hulkberry. I can't tell which strain will yield the most at this point only time will tell! Also, a big shout out to "J"@RQS, thank you for the excellent customer service. Another reason why Royal Queen Seeds is top 3 in breeding!!

Hello Growmies, We're now at week 11 with our Epic Buzz, and the flowering stage is hitting its stride. The buds are making their presence known, stretching around the colas in a spectacular display, and I'm starting to see the early stages of trichome production. This glittering onset is a clear indicator that our plant is entering a peak phase of resin production. In response to this, I've increased the resin-specific nutrients to support and enhance this natural process. Epic Buzz is proving to be quite the thirsty one, almost depleting her 2-liter daily water ration, which has led to a few challenging moments. The small reservoir size has resulted in occasional nutrient lockouts due to the rapid water consumption. However, I've adapted quickly, now refilling the reservoir every two to three days to keep ahead of these issues. These adjustments in our watering schedule are critical, as they prevent the water level from falling too low, which could stress the plant and impede her progress. It's a delicate dance of vigilance and response, ensuring that Epic Buzz receives the consistent care she needs to flourish. As we move deeper into the flowering phase, the anticipation grows each day. Watching the buds develop and the trichomes proliferate is a daily joy, a reminder of why we cultivate these wonderful plants. With each challenge overcome and every new development, the bond between grower and plant strengthens. I'm looking forward to what the next weeks will bring us. The final stages of flowering are always the most exciting, as we watch the fruits of our labor come to full maturity. This week has started of with the girls doing well some new growth. A lot of wind this week but cooler temps. Plastic layer added aswell as gravel on top to help with parasites and possible cooler temps. Plants treated for pest and fungus once a week until flower. Day 3 Sprayed for parasites and fungus. Day 4 It has been raining before day break. Jah has taken over the watering for us today. But not enough. Watered with nutrient water in the afternoon. Everybody praying. Day 5 Removing all leaves with spider mites, washed down the rest of the leaves and sprayed for parasites and fungus. Day6-7 Plants were left in the car of the gods. He did well and took care of them very well with a 2 nice showers of rain followed by sun.
