- DAY 78 (20/08) So, yesterday I went back to fertilizing applying corrections. The girl drinks a lot and grows out of all proportion. She has not yet come into bloom, it is her last days of vegetative growth. This evening I sprayed the mix of neem oil. (neem oil, water, potassium soap and citric acid) Everything that I will do relevant in the days of this week I will update it here in Week Comment. I am open to advice, I would be happy if you comment with what you would do in my place.

Day 69 (March 6th) Just gave everyone their last watering. I’m going to harvest and wash everything tomorrow night on day 70. I‘m not going to do that whole 48 hours of darkness thing because I didn’t see a difference last time I did it. In fact, it made my plant under watered before drying which caused it to dry too fast. Slurricane and cheese will be washed with h2o2 and the rest will just be rinsed off in warm RO water and hung up. Before and after washing I’m going to go over each branch with a flashlight and make sure there is no dog hair or debris in or on the buds. I will be drying in my spare bathroom (that no one uses!) from hangers. Aiming to keep it around 60-62F and 50-60 RH. Hoping for that 10-12 day dry. I wanted to do a full plant hang but the tent got pretty dirty and I would feel more comfortable just cutting and rinsing everything off branch by branch. I’m going to try my best to keep the full plant intact. Got my humidifier hooked up and running RO water because with tap water it deposits calcium and lime all over the buds and walls. For air flow I’m just indirectly running a small usb fan. I’m not worried about air flow in the bathroom honestly. It stays nice and breezy down there anyway. Got the food grade peroxide and RO water to wash up the slurricane and cheese. Everything except for the cheese and garlic#1 is looking more than done. Trichomes all look pretty well done. Some of them have even burst open. Smells are all super ripe and mature too. Can’t wait to smell each individually in jars. Next week I will recap what went wrong and what I will do differently next time to keep it from happening again. (Day 70F) Just got everything chopped, washed and hanging. The vast majority of the PM was washed out but I can still see very small amounts. When they dry out I can shake the branches a bit to get the rest off. At very least it’s sterile now. There is no question I lost some potency while washing but the amount is negligible for a much cleaner product. I could see lots of dirt and other debris float to the surface of the water after being washed. And no those are not trichomes, those sink to the bottom. I could put that nasty water through a bubble bag and wouldn’t get all that much. Although it probably does remove a lot of the actual trichomes heads. I’ll have to check with the microscope. Everything is rigged up for a nice slow dry. Temp is sitting at 64 and RH is at a nice 60%.

The Ztrawberriez Auto is very resistant has a great sweet strawberry smell throughout the garden. As you can easily see from my grow question, I was initially afraid for the plants due to the high temperature in the greenhouse (as soon as the sun shone ~40 degrees). It turned out that the plant seemed to like it and rewarded me with beautiful buds with purple tips. Growdiaries won't let me delete the question otherwise this would have happened long ago... She finished very quickly and took just 70 days from seed to harvest. All this confirms that fastbuds is the right address for autoflowers. I'm already looking forward to the next run. CRAZY NIGHT (continued) I get a cab back to the boys, we take the company car to the casino where we can park it relatively safely under cctv camera. It has a non functioning and non closing window at this point, so thats the best place we could think of. We hit the sino, win a few bucks and kill a few hours. I lose one of the boys to a high class and expensive looking late night date (???) and he assures us he will see us at breakfast in 40 minutes (hahah). We walk out with our winnings to find our car is gone. Not only is the window non functioning, it is non existent. Well there goes fucking breakfast! We called to report the incident, and one of us had to stay to chat with the cop and the casino. I didnt have the time, so my remaining buddy gave the notes. No texts from NX, so I called him. at around 4:40am. Went right to voicemail, followed by a text: "Im stucK" ...(continued) DIARY STUFF These Fastbud fast finishers are incredible plants. Not even finished 6 weeks of flower and they are packing on some serious cola weight. So much bud to leaf ratio, and sticky as all hell. Added Beastie blooms to the flowering feed and they seem to be loving it. Heat has been a battle this week as it is the middle of july and humid. Running lights at half power and ac full HEATHER !!! The purple punch cookies is looking happy. Will be switching them to flower in a week or less. I gave them a flush and fresh nutrients. The humic acid really makes a huge difference in the uptake of nutrients. I am at about half dose on nutrients compared to what I would have to feed without it. Winter is approaching and bringing the low humidity with it. All of the humidifiers I have tried either dont work or I have to constantly refill the tank. So I decided to use my redneck engineering skills to throw this humidifier together. It holds 4 gallons of water and she pumps like a freight train. I have dubbed her the Steam Queen. I got 2 cool mist foggers that put out about 400ml per hour each and used some things I had around to make them a little float. Added an old computer fan to force the mist out through a 2 inch pipe. She won't win any beauty contests but she pumps out plenty of cool moist air. I also upgraded my exhaust to a variable speed for more added environmental control. Just going to do a little more training over the next week then try to make some buds.

🗓️ Week 5 – Nutrient Refresh, Net Adjustment & Light Optimization Arrived in week 5 with a complete nutrient solution refresh. This time using 2.5 ml/L Plagron Hydro A & B and 1 ml/L Plagron CalMag Pro, mixed into a total of 13 liters of water (the bucket turned out to be bigger than expected, according to the Amazon specs 15L). pH adjusted to 5.5 using Hesi pH-. During the water change, I lifted the SCROG net briefly to check on the roots – they’re looking great: bright, healthy, and strong. Net was repositioned afterward. The light is now running at level 8 out of 10, delivering around 800 PPFD in the center and about 700 PPFD at the edges, with a distance of 35 cm to the canopy – everything’s well dialed in!

Plant has been getting straight pH balanced water this last week and minimal nutes. It is showing some slight nute burn so I let off a bit and raised the light canopy about 6”. I discovered that what I thought was a calcium or potassium deficiency was actually a rookie grower error by me. I have an RO system that I use to water all my strains in the grow room including this one, but when adding nutes to the water, it takes too long so I had been filling them up with well water. When I had originally tested the well water, I must had used a faulty testing agent as after testing it this last week, I was showing a pH of 7.5 vs. my RO of 6.2. Thus, every time I was adding nutes (multiple times a week) I was significantly fluctuating the pH between regular feedings and nutrient additions. To make matters worse, when I originally thought it was nute burn, I flushed each plant with well water and likely caused additional stress. Anyway, I have since learned that the well water needs to be treated, I only utilize RO water the last few days and plan to do so over this next week. Also, I have turned off the CO2 system as I was starting to see signs of heat stress on a couple of the strains (not this one). The literature I have reviewed suggested that these strains might be able to handle heat closer to 90F but it was also causing issues with high humidity so when I added a dehumidifier, it pushed the day temp to between 90-92F and the overnight temps were not getting low enough (maybe 85F or so). Maybe I could leave out the dehumidifier, but I was getting rH of 70% and didn’t want to risk any bud rot or mildew growth. So for now, I have turned off the CO2 and am getting high temps of 81F with 60% humidity and overnight temps of 74F and 50% humidity. The Future #1 has shown the least signs of stress and is fattening up its buds very nicely. Over the next few weeks I will start monitoring the trichomes for a nice milky color for harvesting.

So this week after I gave it under nutrients I apparently gave it too much nitrogen while having a potassium deficiency. Shiney dark leaves, So i fixed that, but some didn't bounce back, and I tried nitrogen. I think they are doing pretty good considering everything I've put them through SO FAR. lol. Nutrients are NPK Raw's total lineup, follow their instructions at first, Fastbuds adjustments as of this week.

Start of week 8 (week 7 feed for the super Lemon Haze, she's going one extra week in total (9)) th blueberries are packing on serious weight, size and stickiness, while also smelling dank as hell! The Super Lemon Haze is still nutrient hungry, I continue to feed her extra each week and she's packing on serious weight and size now as she goes into the last 2 weeks of her grow. Overall the last week 7 was great and the plants are looking good, approaching the end.
