Hope everyone enjoyed looking over my shoulder on this grow and best of luck to all participants! REVIEW - Runtz (fem., photo.) from Zamnesia: ⬛⬛⬛⬛⬛⬛⬛⬛⬜⬜ The seeds from Zamnesia germinated rapidly, rooted strongly, went wild in veg, and produced an ample amount of high-quality medicinal flower. The diary speaks for itself on that front so this space will be more of a phenotype review. The plants were labelled A, B, and C from left to right respectively in photos. A and B were the 'clasicaly-appearing' sativa-esque leaves while C was the more 'indica-appearing' phenotype. Although A and B appear the same qualitatively, they did produce substantially different amounts of flower (despite their DLI being near max out for the entire tent footprint without supplementing CO2, so I do not think just being in the middle attributed to this). Past their different yields, A and B also have vastly different profiles. A is a classic gelato/ice cream cooler/Z terps, and my personal favorite of the plants (wish I had taken a clone of this one instead). B is the most on point for what I think of with Runtz, classic Z terps but with a slight tropical/rotten/sweetness to it. C had the misfortune of being ready to chop a little earlier than the other girls so her profile is mostly just spicey kush now. I did observe intersex flower sites but given the entire context of the diary and how the plants performed, I have to assume it was user error. No pollination observed in any of the flowers, as zero additional intersex sites occurred. The distinction between A, B and C is what I would expect from a typical F1 cannabis seed. I do not enjoy growing from seed much but these girls were manageable. Add to that the relative stability of the genetics for a Runtz recreation, and well, these are good quality beans for a great price. Not only is Zamnesia responsive and available, their confidence speaks volumes. How many vendors would have an in-house Runtz, knowing how much of a genetic-gravity-well it is in, and be confident enough to let ~200 randos grow it and show it? REVIEW - Green Sensation from Plagron: ⬛⬛⬛⬛⬛⬛⬛⬛⬜⬜ I enjoyed using the green sensation, the NPK values on it make it versatile in application and a power-house in flower. I can't say I noticed anything better or dramatically improved, although comparing to Heavy 16 and asking for a marked improvement is big ask in my opinion. What I was able to do was seamlessly integrate the Green Sensation into my current routine. The additive stayed homogenous, was easily introduced into solutions with no adverse impact to the water contents or pH. Most importantly, the plants enjoyed the additive and it did accomplish the main goal of being able to wane off your primary line. In this respect, by using Green Sensation I was able to save resources by lowering my Heavy 16 inputs across the board approximately 50% and supplementing with Plagron's Green Sensation.

Hallo und herzlich Willkommen Wie zuletzt beschrieben, befinden sich aktuell beide Klone in der Wachstumsphase. Sie im Garten hat sich gute erholt und freut sich auf die kommende Sommerzeit. Die Dame die auf dem Balkon steht, fühlt sich sichtlich auch sehr wohl. Man merkt wie das Wachstum zurück geht. Die Stamm- Struktur zeichnet sich schön mit der Farbe lila. Sie sieht auf jeden fall auch wirklich bemerkenswert aus. Ein paar Entwicklungsbilder unseres Gartens sind auch anbei :-) Auf ab in die nächste Woche, wir freuen uns und wünschen in diesem Sinne allen Growmies eine tolle neue Woche und viel Erfolg! VG 😎

Grow notes week 3 #1 This plant is healthy and thriving. She’s the first to show pistols which means I should change her status to flowering but I won’t do that until it’s pretty obviously in flower. She’s taking the training nicely and I think I’m starting to figure things out when it comes to training.. the trick is to simply SLOW DOWN. #2 is looking great! Her leaves are healthy and node spacing is just how I like it to look. She likes LST and seems happy with the maxi grow/bloom series. The roots on each plant are healthy and white #3 is getting greener each day but I’m starting to believe it’s either genetics or this nutrient line that’s causing this effect. #4 is the thickest and biggest plant of the bunch. However, she is displaying rust spots and potential calcium or iron deficiency on the lower older leaves. I may have to feed heavier on cal mag while running this nutrient line up. Day 29: she’s gone crazy since the last update, side branches have taken over the plant I’m very happy with how the LST is going, I’m hoping to get one last push up and one last bend on the main stem before leaving her to flower. I purchased a new pH Meter a few days back and it turns out I have been giving the plants ph of 6.8+ the whole time and since getting the new one and giving her 6.1 she started growing hell of a lot faster(hard to judge I suppose because of the age it could just be stretching) how ever the major curling has stopped to a extent and she just looks a lot happier, super excited to see this once continue to develop🙏 there’s a ton of roots growing out the bottom of the pot, should I be concerned about it? I've rearranged a bit more and placed small platforms to balance the plants of different heights. Now I'm really satisfied, and the ladies looking good too. I think the Red Banana Berry will go out this weekend and into preparation for the living-dead phase before drying. 😇

D13 - BOOM! The new #1 had made her modest appearance. Only the top of the seed is visible so far, but it's a start. :) #2 is moving along nicely, quietly doing her thing. D14 - #1 is still shy and hasn't fully emerged yet, but she is at least poking up more than yesterday, so there's progress at least. #2 is doing great, and I like her structure. Short and stout with large leaves and very short internodal spacing. She is 7 cm tall but already 11 cm wide. I also cut back the cover crop as it was getting a bit wild and partly overshadowed the girls. Since starting the grow, I have yet to water the girls properly, but they did get a little bit a couple of days ago when I had some extra after watering nematodes (against fungus gnats) to our regular houseplants. Better to be proactive than reactive ;) D15 - I started a simple compost tea consisting of worm casting, rock dust, algal limestone, bentonite, biochar, and molasses. I'll leave it brewing overnight, and then it's watering/feeding time tomorrow. D17 - No idea what is going on with the first girl, but it sure isn't much. The seed has maybe emerged for another two millimeters from the soil, but that is it. The seed hasn't cracked, and no leaves are visible. Hell, I can hardly see the stem. Yesterday, I gave each girl about one liter of the compost tea that I started a couple of days ago. Let's see if that helps, although, at this point, I kind of doubt it. As always, I completely forgot to check the pH of the tea. I have no idea why I keep forgetting that with my teas when I have no problem checking the pH when I use plain water. Oh well. Not the end of the world but something I need to keep in mind for the next tea in a couple of weeks. The second girl looks great, though, so that's something at least. D20 - Alright, it is official. The third girl died as well. The seed never cracked, and the stem went limp. I have no idea why this happened, and now I'm out of Colorado Cookies seeds, so that's that. I have already planted another seed to see if the problem persists with another strain. I will make a separate diary for that one, though. On the positive side is that the remaining girl looks strong and healthy. She is now 9 cm tall and 18 cm wide on this last day in week two of veg. Upwards and onwards!

Was not my best grow. But the ZKittles by Fast Buds were strong, grew well and I am sure the next grow will be much different. I would have liked a bigger harvest, but I did learn from my experimenting with the feeding schedule. I will definitely be growing these again. Even with my getting off track the plants recovered quickly at a crucial time and produced some really nice buds. All in all, I'm happy

11/2: Both Sweet Zkittlez are looking great, as is the first Black Jack. The other Black Jack has popped and is growing in the DWC cloner for a couple days. Neither Gorilla Girl has popped yet. 11/3: One of the Zkittlez, the Black Jack, and a few other seedlings suddenly look like they are starving, so I fed them and am foliar feeding with a kelp/fish emulsion product every few hours.😕 I can see some green just below the surface on both Gorilla Girls now...fingers crossed. 11/4: I planted the baby Black Jack today and foliar fed them a few times. The Zkittlez with the deficiency looks better today, but her first set of leaves won't last long... Neither Gorilla Girl has emerged yet... 11/7: The younger Black Jack is starting to catch up now. Both Gorilla Girls popped and got planted on the 5th, late at night. Both SZ's look great...the one that was deficient has corrected and is doing well now.
