Hey now, so this week went very well, I topped one of them for the last time on day 22,, and I wanted to top again but I started seeing some white pistils so I decided not to. I am now feeding 3 times per day with a total EC of 1.4 I am giving .4 to Cal Mag and 1.0 to Maxi Gro. I am also utilizing LST to try and keep an even canopy. I felt like my last grow produced far too many fluffy buds, so I am trying to focus on fewer bud sites, and denser colas. I am also testing the runoff and I am getting readings of 1.5 to 1.6 so I am good with that. Thanks for checking out my diary, be safe and blaze on!

¡Seguimos creciendo fuerte! 💪

Happy about this harvest. Very strong orange citrus aroma with some dense buds along with it. Definitely a sativa dominant bud, with a smooth smoke. Have experimenting on self pollinating and tried it on one particular bud on this plant, and i have to say, it has worked! One seed has been found and is directly been placed in soil 3 days ago. Have not seen any faces submerged yet but hopefully fat monkey #2 is on the way soon with some new growing techniques 😏

Day 14 of Flower, start of Week 2. Nothing more than feeding them some Age Old Organics nutrients. 30 ml Bloom, 30 ml Fish and Seaweed. Gaia Green Power Bloom, All Purpose, and Glacier Rock Dust should still be working and dissolving into the soil. I add Real Growers Recharge with the feedings. I don't plan on doing a defoliation until the stretch slows down a lot. For now they're growing well and praying. Everything is back on track and thriving.

So... welcome back! Last week was rather uneventfull. Just the way I like it. They are all getting more substance though. The middle one is more leafy, the two outer ones are more developed and although the biggest buds are maybe only the size of a lighter. Most buds have filled out with calixes and only little leaves. They are dense and compact. The smell is getting heavier. When close to the buds it reminds of expensive herbal perfumes like Rabane. I distinctly have a 'hug from your poppa' kind of association with it and memories start flowing.... It is citrussy but in the ethereal way, it is spicy in the 'spicetrader' way, a mixture of ginger, cinnamon, black pepper, with a huge funky basetone. This combined, its as if a master perfumer had composed an exquisite fragrance. The funk of an attick full of weed to serve as the musky base undertones upon which, a layer of earthy spices, upon which a floral and citrussy fresh layer. It is bloody amazing and I wished ya'll were with me to smell it and taste it when the time has come. I want to exersize patience but my god this smells better than any weed I recently acquired and we have some excellent dispensaries here. So I've started giving them up to 4 ltrs ( a gallon) of water each, every two days or so. They seem to need it, no drooping but also bonedry earth till deep in the pot. SInce two days ago with less feed and today only the Biobizz Topmax and PH correction. Although not really convinced of flushing, Im trying it to see if I get a more pure taste and experience. So trichomewise I find it hard to see, my magnifier is not strong enough to see the individual trichomes. I do see area's on leafedges etc that seem more amber, trichomes look milky from this distance but have get a better magnifier to get better view. On the images I see that there are many clear ones and not many ambers so we have some weeks to go which is correct according to Advanced Seeds, this Gelato #33 Fast has to flower 45 to 55 days, We are on day 39... The plant itself seems utterly healthy. Some white points and very little heatstress from checking absolute minimum for these lights. You don't know until you find out. For anyone else looking for reviews on Rubol V3 100 watt QB's in a three in a row setup, with 10 cm spacing between each board, the minimal distance is 28 cm or one foot, when flowering, gradually lowering to this point btw. These lights are excellent, good value for money and with the two years of waranty a good investment. Also great service from Justin at www.rubol.nl. They are helpfull, considerate and very knowledgable. So far so good, the grand finale is coming in just one or two weeks and I want to thank you for taking time and read all this, everybody who had advice and answered my growquestions, wish you were here for the harvestparty and may your harvest be bountifull!! See you next week!!

Treated the girls to a new grow light Friday, the ACInfinity EVO4. Set at 18" and 60% to start. So far so good, but OC looked a little droopy Saturday morning. Raised light to about 19" while I had my coffee. Fed them both 3 litres of water with 2ml per litre of Remo veg schedule Friday evening and topped OC to help keep canopy even. For the second time I had little to no runoff, even after increasing the water by 1 litre. More next time I guess. My original plan was to flip to 12-12 when the lights come on tonight, but I think I'll give them a few days under this new light to get their groove on and raise the power of the light by 10 each day and drop it a little closer to the 18 " AC Infinity recommends until I'm at 100% and 18" then prune and flip. I think I've got room to stretch. Plants are at 11-12" tall from the Promix, so I can definitely let them veg for another week. Raised the light back to 24 inches after my coffee, still at 60%. Saturday morning I fed about a litre of straight RO water to both and Saturday night I cleaned up a dozen or so fan leaves that were shading bud sites. Sunday OC still looks a little droopy, but much better. Sunday morning lowered light to 22" and powered at 70% with a 1 hour sunset sunrise. Fed them Monday night until runoff and took 6 litres at 2ml/l about a litre and a half came back out. Next time I'll give them 5 litres. Been trying to dial in this new light, plus I've went down the light meter rabbit hole on YouTube.....so according to Photone everything seems to be in check with the light at 70% at 24". AC infinity must have a more light tolerant stain in their test labs because full power at 18" would have my girls chicken fried in no time. Tuesday morning they both looked great, temps and humidity and light and nutes all seem to be pulling in the same direction. Plants are about 12&13 inches tall Likely flip them Thursday evening 😁😨😰 Wednesday morning gave them a small haircut of some leaves blocking budsites, and a bit of plant yoga bendiness and gentle restraints to let the light into the heart of the plants. So on page to flip tomorrow evening. Light is averaging 700 micromoles per second.

My 3 Jack Herers' have started to pre-flower. Nutrients will be the transitional between veg and bloom . Lots of side branching on all the plants with Ellie may trailing behind

F07 - Good start after 1 week of 12-12 lighting. They're growing so fast! I think i left just enough room for my lights to keep them from burning/stressing the buds but I think I'm going to max out on my vertical room. Fl13 - I think the stretch is finally over and I was right - I pretty much maxed out my vertical room with only have a few inches to spare above my lights. Gave the girls their first low-dose feeding today.

03 Sep 2021 I am going to flip the light schedule today and start the flowering stage for my trio. They are plenty big enough now, so it’s time to start producing some bud! I’m going to start the Early Bloom level on my feed chart (stage 1), but I’m only going to give them half strength till I know they can handle it. Here’s what they’re getting today: CALiMAGic 2ml, FloraMicro 2.8ml, FloraGro 3.3ml, FloraBloom 3.3ml, Floralicious Plus 1ml, and Liquid KoolBloom 1ml. My TDS monitor is still not working properly, so I only have the pH to worry about till I can get another one. All 3 plants had an initial pH of 6.4 and were not adjusted. Runoff pH was as follows: C1 - 5.8, C2 - 6.0, C3 - 5.7 The temperature was 84F, and humidity was 50%. I’ve adjusted the timers to switch to a 12/12 light schedule for flowering to start tonight! Harvest should be in about 45 days, then I’m taking the rest of the year off. Well, maybe not the whole rest of the year, but close. Happy growing everyone!! 08 Sep 2021 So, we’re nearing the end of the first week of the flowering stage and the plants are doing wonderful! I last fed them 5 days ago before going out of town for the weekend, which was also the day that I switched them to start flowering. So far they have started to stretch a bit and develop their branches a little more. I measured each plant today, as well as check the distance from the lights. C1 is 19 inches tall and is 16 inches away from the light. C2 is 20 inches tall and 15 inches from the light. C3 is also 20 inches tall, and 15 inches away from the lights. Some of the leaves are showing the fact that they hadn’t been watered/fed in 5 days, but they mostly look good. They are all looking green, healthy and bushy! I plan to do some defoliation tomorrow to thin them out a bit. I’m also planning on trimming off all of their lower leaves and small undeveloped branches to make them more manageable. I kept with the same feeding levels today as the other day. Each plant took nearly the whole gallon of water mixed with nutrients today, and still had plenty of runoff. I still haven’t gotten a replacement for my broken TDS meter, so I don’t have any TDS data today, just pH. Each plant was given CALiMAGic 2ml, FloraMicro 2.8ml, FloraGro 3.3ml, FloraBloom 3.3ml, Floralicious Plus 1ml, and Liquid KoolBloom 1ml. The initial pH for all 3 gallons was 6.4. Normally I don’t adjust this pH level, but since the runoff pH has been low (between 5.7-5.9) when feeding this level, I decided to adjust a little today. I added 1ml of pH UP to each gallon which adjusted each of them to 6.7 going in. The runoff pH for each plant was as follows: C1 - 6.3, C2 - 6.2, and C3 - 6.0. This level is much better than before, so I’ll keep adjusting to near the same levels in future feedings. The temperature in the tent was 86F, and humidity was 43%. 10 Sep 2021 Today I mainly just did plant maintenance. I defoliated and trimmed the living daylights out of my Trio! They’re practically nude!! It’s a great flowering start point. At least in my opinion. I also pruned about 12 smaller branches for clones. I’m not doing anything special with them, except cutting them off, trimming off excess foliage and sticking them in a solo cup with water and a tiny bit of FloraMicro and FloraGro with the ends cut at a 45 degree angle. This is the method I used to get this Trio, so I’m hoping that some of the 12 grow roots to have a perpetual Blueberry Muffin grow going. It’s an awesome strain!! After doing all the maintenance, I wanted to water/feed them, but the clock was against me. The lights go out at 8 pm, and it was already 7:40 pm. So what I did was prepare 1 gallon with the proper nutrients and pH for the 3 of them to share. Each of them received 5 1/3 cups I fed them CALiMAGic 2ml, FloraMicro 2.8ml, FloraGro 3.3ml, FloraBloom 3.3ml, Floralicious Plus 1ml, and Liquid KoolBloom 1ml. The initial pH was 6.4, and I added 1ml of pH UP which adjusted the pH to 6.6. I added 2 cups to each plant in turn twice, then 1 cup in turn for a total of 5 cups each, then split the remaining cup between the 3 plants. Each got 5 1/3 cups of the solution and none of them had any significant runoff to measure. I trimmed and defoliated each plant to provide equal and plentiful light exposure all the way through each plant. I cleared off all of the lower branches for clones, and to provide clearance at the bottom of each plant. All 3 are growing with their branches in a Christmas tree formation seeking the light with good spacing. I’m hoping that I didn’t over for it today, and that each plant responds the way I want them too. Time will tell. Happy growing everyone!!
