Day 21: A steady week finishing their stretch this week. They have staked their claim to their spaces well but the C Banana could find herself hidden by the Monster and her other friend Fruity Gorilla Sorbet. She is slap bang in the middle and they are both very bushy neighbours. She has some great growth broke through the canopy and will be easy to manage Monster Zkittelz has got very dominant at the back corner. She has spread out so well and will be a very good size once she hits harvest. Lots of growth going on below stairs and her stems look good to support some nice big colas. Be safe and sane Growmies.

The final week for both grapefruit by Fast Buds I have given another generous feeding of a compost tea to ensure all the microbes are at their full strength before the flushing begins next week. Both are frosting up nicely and showing a little stress from the light, bleaching the top colas and causing some foxtailing. I’ve increased tent air flow, reduced temps and will leave it at that. Trichomes ate quickly clouding up so I’m giving extra attention to time the chop right, my prediction is that it will be in the next 2 weeks. Well... What a very very stressful week this has been, A few pistils started browning. I went over each girl no Nana’s definitely all female, started panicking thinking I maybe had bugs, root rot e.t.c. Flushed for two days and all new growth showed healthy signs kicking out some serious trichomes! Smells beautiful and PH for the run off was exact. Gave 1/2 Nutrients/Feed today for the first time just to ease the girls back in but fingers crossed I have either had some PH issues or wind burn possibly. Had to Defoliate again today as the foliage was ridiculous😂 I hope next week isn’t so stressful 🙏🏻 Wish me luck man please I need it 🤦‍♂️🏻😅

Seemingly overnight, the A.K. plant overcame Sour Ripper in growth! Been a fun week as far as the plants go, havent needed to water them at all. Ill take a peak into the tent occasionally, witnessed the growth pick up exponentially this week. I noticed the pots are getting pretty light when i was taking these pictures. Will likely water them tomorrow. Notes for those interested: My last grow was RUINED from consistently overwatering and NEVER checking pH of feed water. Everything that could have went wrong as a result, did go wrong. Murphy's Law eh? Just trying to see to it that doesnt happen again. For those interested in the DWC girls, their growth has been nothing less than great 👍. It was less than two weeks ago that i went to the local hydro shop to pick up some hydroguard and damn! Is that shit good or what?! Root rot has been stripped away in almost ALL of my DWC girls, tons of white, happy root growth in their place. Ive decided that i will flip them all either halfway through this week or monday of next. Going to mother both A.K. and S.R. 2-3 weeks into flower transition. Again, great job @RipperSeeds and @Nirvana, really loving this stuff.

This plant is my 3th attempt, trying to find a specific taste I'm searching since I started to grow, in 2020. Plant just been harvested. Now it gonna need some more weeks of drying and curing, before I can finally evaluate the taste 😍 So, for now, I can only talk about the grow, and I'll edit my diary later. 10 weeks of flowering (total 20 weeks), this was a long run! Royal Queen Seeds say that strain usually take 7 to 9 weeks of flowering. Mine took a bit longer. She was absolutely the easiest plant I ever grown. She never shown big sign of deficiencies. She germinated fast (seed direct to the pot). I applied main-lining method (Nebula's / Topping at node 3, then node 3 again) and performed LST during the growth. She perfectly dealt with it, never slowed by the toppings. I remember that she took less than 10 hours to recover from second topping, and re-allign every branchs to the light, after LST. This was insane to me. I did some mistakes during the grow : 1) Excess of Biobizz - Fishmix during grow, until early flowering. This been fixed by following the advices from @AsNoriu who suggested to transplant the Queen to a new pot. So she moved from a 16L to a 30L during 2nd week of flowering. This was risky, it's not really recommended to transplant during flowering.... But the risk at to be taken. And she totally did good. One week later, she was looking way more healthy. 2 weeks later, she was on fire!!! 2) I brook the main cola, same week than the transplant. I was trying to apply the LST again. A bit too much of tension, and Crack! Quickly fixed. The plant don't even realized. She don't slowed bad signs, and continued to grow perfectly. She spent some weeks outdoor during Veg. And this is how i got some thrips problem during end of veg. I sprayed black soap, then water, and then Biobizz - Leafcoat. This got rid of mainly all thrips. I was still seeing one or two begining of flowering, so I continued to use water and biobizz - Leafcoat. But as she was flowering, she started to get totally covered of trichomes, even on fan leaves, and under the leaves. Thrips had no chance there. So the plant ended this problem by herself, and I don't had to spray anything during flowering, and never saw thrips again ^^

I'm excited to report that the flowering phase has officially begun, with only T-55 days/60 days left to go! 🌸🌿 Currently, my lights are set to 50% intensity, but I plan to gradually increase them to 75% over the next few days. 💡✨ I'm happy to say that everything is looking great in the grow room, as I've managed to dial in all the necessary parameters. I will continue to tuck the tops for the next two weeks to ensure optimal growth and yield. 🌱👌 As for my latest consideration, I'm thinking about purchasing exhale CO2 bags. Flowering day 11 since time change to 12/12 h. Hey guys :-) The first days of this week it looked really terrible for me because it was much too cold because of the unusual temperature. The heating mat has now also arrived for the big tent and lo and behold the plants have been developing really well since that day ☺️👍. The temperature doesn't keep quite as well as in the small box, but at least I don't get below 18 degrees in the pots at night anymore, even though it's only 16 at the top 😅👍. Since I switched to flowering, it was time to rinse off a bit with Clean Fruits :-) . Did them a lot of good.
