What a gorgeous strain. Full of purple hue and terps for days with the petroleum, gas, sweet grape. We will see how it changes after a long cure. Chopped her on the 11th week of flower at about 15% amber. Has a pretty heady Stoney high, euphoria, body buzz. Not a couchlock but definitely sedated but functional.

Apologies for the delayed update. The grow goes on.... I was planning on harvesting last week, but I decided to let her go a little bit longer because she is packing on some good weight and the trichomes are still milky with hardly any amber. I think I'm going to let it go one more week. The flush is starting to take effect now. The leaves are start to change colour.

Plan to harvest on Sunday thats day 60 and I spotted a little pm on a few of the lowers so its time to cut. Added flora clean Sunday will go straight water today. Can't wait. So far on my strain hunt I'm gonna retire the mango and headband (cause I've had these genetics for a year) the enemy's dream because it's small and I didnt take clones in time and I'm on the fence about the Skywalker so ill wait til I give it one more shot indoors and once outside. And I'm on the fence about the white widow since I've had it before. Gotta make some hard choices especially if I get that order in to seedsman before the sale ends. Next grow will be: Alaskan Purple Gelato og Do-si-Do Bruce Banger Runts Skywalker og White Widow Amnesia Haze Followed by the same strains outdoor. I'm thinkn about ordering seedsman 3 new 420 strains and sum moonbow or moonboots any thoughts?

Harvest time for this ripe lady. She isn't as tall as most of my other plants, but her colas are huge, and dense and heavy. We've already sampled a test bud, and she's a heavy hitter with plenty of indica... next post will be the harvest post... stay tuned.

Moin liebe Growgemeinschaft! Die dritte Woche beginnt. Leider musste ich aufgrund von einigen Umständen die kleinen auf Urlaub schicken 😉. In ca zwei Wochen sollten sie aber wieder Zuhause sein denn ist auch etwas mehr Platz für die kleinen da. Soweit entwickeln sie sich normal sind etwas gespargelt aber das ist noch in Ordnung für die Umstände. Gegossen werden sie mit angepasstem Wasser auf PH 6. Werde die Milkyways die Tage in 11l Schuhe stecken, sollte noch nicht so schlimm sein da sie ja noch nicht den topf voll gewurzelt haben.

Getting ready to harvest one of the Purple Trainwreck plants next weekend. I’ve decided to harvest the mother plant this weekend and wait another week for the clone plant. Plants have been getting straight water for a little over a week. I did go ahead and harvest popcorn buds off the mother PT plant last week. I have struggled with getting the humidity below 50-60% in my tent so that being said, I also wanted to thin out the middle of the plant so the larger colas wouldn’t be blocked from light. The buds on numerous stems were touching and starting to stick together. I don’t want to get bud rot on any of my larger colas. Total harvest off the mother PT so far: Wet weight with stems: 3.75 Ounces Dry without stems: 30 grams Day 60-harvested another 1.25 wet ounces... not dry yet I have not touched the PT clone that’s in flower, I have another PT clone in my veg tent for clones. I also harvested some smaller buds off the Widow X Plant. I have two clones of this plant in my veg tent. Wet with stems: .75 ounces or 21 grams Dry without stems: .20 ounces or ~6 gram Harvested another 1.15 wet ounces. Not dry yet Setup: 24”x48”x60” tent Two 1000W Sunraise LED lights 6” Vivosun inline fan Two clip fans Plants are in 5 gallon cloth pots with happy frog soil and perlite. Nutrients: Fox Farm Dirty Dozen I have learned a lot with this grow, I’m excited to see how my future grows turn out. I have started a perpetual grow and have a second tent with vegetative plants. The newly flowering plant that was added to the flowering tent last week is a purple trainwreck clone. I think it will be quite the monster once it’s done. I have been essentially lollipopping this plant but not entirely. Any feedback appreciated!

Harvest: Everything dried up to 347 grams + 96 grams of super high quality trim. Overall I am not too pleased with the smoke of the product. Although the bud size, bag appeal, smell and taste are pretty much all there, the shitty burn is a deal breaker for me and the majority of this weed is quite frankly useless. Another downside is while smoking I’ve found 4 seeds in an ounce from almost every strain. Light leaks? At least I learned a ton, including how to get super good burn for my next crop. I’m hoping that curing for a month or so will improve the burn but I wouldn’t really count on it. I have seen weed dried for 4 days with no cure and no flush smoke clean and not go out once. I have been told that the key to white ashes/clean burn is proper mineral content in the soil and there is tons of scientific studies on cigar ash going back 100 years. Plants grown in a medium with high levels of decomposing organic matter, phosphorus, magnesium, chlorine and heavy metal ratio tend to produce black/grey ash. Whereas plants grown in a medium with a higher ratio of trace minerals like calcium carbonate and potassium in the form of wood ash, rock dusts, oyster shell flour and lower levels of decomposing organic matter will produce a dense, uniform white ash that rarely goes out. But this is still all theory until I test it to confirm for myself a few times. My last few outdoor harvests did not improve with curing at all so I’m hoping this will be the missing link. Plain peat moss and coco clearly lack essential minerals that help burn. If said theory is correct I should find a synthetic nutrient line with more trace minerals. Makes me wonder if growing if rockwool/basalt rock could improve burn in a hydro setup. I think I did a fairly decent job for my first grow. I went wrong in a million different places but I still stuck it out and got some decent herb. Things went wrong early when I got black spot mold, nitrogen/magnesium deficiencies and powdery mildew. I corrected most of it but things didn’t get really bad until mid veg when I intentionally skipped a few feedings and defoliated quite heavily stunting the plants. I also didn’t even top or start LST until the 6-9th node which was really stupid and hurt my yield. My temperatures were all over the place from the learning curve. I was severely overwatering without realizing it. 100% peat moss is a shitty medium. I also fed way too late in flower (not what caused shitty burn). I also used synthetic nutrients in soil. Reasons for dimming light! As they start to mature dimming of the light for 2-3days is needed. They are getting bigger! Will have to raise scrog net soon for support 🙏🙌👍 14/08/2024 Lights On! Increased light to 490watts! Mid-day! Video 60fps FHD Light needs turning down Dimmed backs to 420watts!

Well we thought something was wrong with our white widow being that from one day to the other she was crooked and looking Ill.. so we cut her way before time.. BUT (bud hehe) after closer inspection it was a block of in the autopot.. so she prolly could have bounced back..
