- Week 11 - ----- Day 71 ------ The end is in sight. The trichomes are slowly turning amber/purple inside. and a lot are cloudy. No more fertilizer until harvest day where I will use floranova grow to induce leaf growth when i switch them back to 18/6 with Metal Halide at 600 watts. I'm going to guess day 75-77 harvest. ----- Day 73 ----- Back Wedding Cake was ready for chopping. You can see from the 60x micro more mature amber and drying mature trichomes than cloudy/clear. Front is not, Going to chop day 77. More cloudy/clear and round trichome heads then mature and shrunk. This is a huge yield. not going to guess but Harvest number should be by far the largest I've ever grown. ----- Day 74 ----- Today Im gonna sample the Wedding Cake harvested yesterday. I hope it knocks me the hell out to my couch with a bat to the face of intensity. Time will tell. Probably no update on the high till tomorrow lol. ----- Day 75 ----- Okay, last plant will be done Saturday. Trichomes are mostly ready, 48 hours she's cut worthy. I wont be updating tomorrow, there's no point. Saturday should also have some more of the Day 73 Wedding Cake (from here on known as D73 WC) dried for a better smoke report (yesterday I just passed out) but I don't expect them to be dry for at least a total of 7-10 days and it's day 3 today. (they're fuckin fat and DENSE so it'll be a longer process to remove the interior moisture) Last water feeding for them tomorrow. Next time they're ready for water I'll be feeding FloraNova GROW to assist in the transition back to 18/6 Vegetative 600 watt metal halide that will start the day after harvest (Going to give a full 24 hours after harvesting before changing light cycle. I've learned to NEVER double up stress on plants. It's like breaking the law, you never break another law while doing the first one, it exponentially worsens everything.) After harvest expect a Veg week by week addition to this grow, and then once my lab results come in from Tropicanna I'll set up a distinct diary for it. Then once the Wedding cake is done and results from lab are in i'll do the same. *** Update *** I put the time on for lights at 13 hours today instead of 12. That will continue for 7 days. It'll then go to 14 hours lights on for 7 full days with HID light before switching finally to MH @ 600 watt 18 hours. This is a technique I hypothesis will help ease the transition period back to veg. ----- Day 76 ----- Here's a nug shot. Lied about not updating today. Harvest tomorrow. ----- Day 77 ------ Harvested today. Here's some pics. Fed FloraNova Grow - 800ppm 6.4ph 8 liters to start the reveg journey. Tomorrow i'll be adding a new week - Veg - as lights will be going to 14 hours during that week which I will use as a transition for 7 days before jumping to 18/6 until re-flower in probably October. Harvest info will be 7-10 days from now unfortunately folks. Shits thick and therefore lots of spaces for water to be hiding and needing to be dried before curing. Smoke is real nice. super clarity followed by ocean waves of distraction and spacing out.

She only grew 8cm this week. Slowing down the stretch now She's doing well. Nothing else to the report as I'm just letting her do her own thing. Some of her very lower leaves were quite spotty and discoloured. I pulled maybe 12 off her through the week. Not sure if it's a deficiency. New growth looks nice and healthy though, flowering is going well, trichomes are enlarging this week, she's getting quite frosty already! Harvest went well. Chopped them down. Hanging now with a gentle fan. Chopped a few lower branches to dry and smoke while waiting. Havent weighed anything yet. Will add weights to this week soon. A total of 14.3 oz.

August 14, day 104 (37f), the Red Mandarine is getting chunkier bit by bit. The canopy is pretty dense, but I have plenty of airflow so it should be alright. It just needs to ripen a bit more in the coming weeks and gain a little density and it should be good to harvest. August 17, day 107 (day 40f), the buds are really putting on weight at the end! The smell is also increasing, along with the lovely red tones. Switched to dry koolbloom for the last week or so, then a short flush and harvest. The Mars Hydro SP-3000 is powering through the flowering stage. OK this was my 1st grow and I set everything up went through all my controls and away to go ... wrong after pre flower came I couldn't understand why I wasn't getting these ladies to flip.... So I went through everything with runoff feeds Everything you can think of except my timers on the lights and this low and behold was the problem!! where I was going to the tent at similar times everyday the light was on and the timers were set right on the clock except I didn't see the switch on the side that makes the timer work continuously or to how the clock is set....🙈😔 Found this and away to go my ladies had some well needed sleep and away to go they flipped By now these had all bushed right out but were getting no tricomes I now had a hell of a load of feeds and kept up the way I was feeding Water Water Feed and all 4 plants in my tent were all heading for the finish line at the same time.... And now I've cut the Northern and the jack down and from my northern lights I had 200g dry weight I didn't do a wet weight it was too hard to do in the space I had (too many colas and massive nugs along with the stragglers that were lost in amongst it all ) She was really resilient and to have come through all those weeks of no rest and only light for 24hrs continuously I'm surprised that I've got this far Flavours and smells are great and the smoke isn't the strongest but when cure now I will see how this little lady comes on I'm happy for my 1st and have learned so much throughout this journey I will update with more but the next diary will be of the other lady in the tent and will give a more detailed explanation of the full journey but as far as crop goes she gave and gave and gave that little more !! Thanks all for following and I hope my next write up will be all the more detailed for u 😀 As she drys mire and more and I've got the exact weight down her figures are not really changing as I've dried her down as much as I want to ....even if this was something that I wanted to keep as a heavier product weather it was for keeping for myself which is what I will be doing rather than to try to get extra weight if I was doing this grow for resale, but this was never the case it was always a grow I've done to help lower my own smoking costs for my own gain and not resale... So again very happy as these final weights are getting revised there will be more to add to the weight with 1 more plant on the harvest but almost double if not more than doubling what I have already put on but I will change my numbers to 2 lots p .tent and an extremely challenging massive yield OMG 😲 she has yes given given and given more beyond more !!!!

The Silver Widow is entering flowering now. Starting to stack up and pistols starting to show everywhere. She is one big bush and the odours coming off of her is amazing. Received their first dose of Massive Bloom Formulation yesterday. Mixture fed was 400 ppm 0.8 ec of Massive Bloom Formulation, 400 ppm 0.8 ec of Floranova bloom, and 400 ppm of Floranova grow for a total of 1200 ppm 2.4 ec. Hi all, Another amazing week passed by and RUNTZ from Zamnesia is starting to look like a real winner. So cool how well she is expanding and how well she takes LST. You can see we going to have a big bush when finished with hopefully a lot off very big coals. If no any serious problems get in our way hopefully I am looking to have her in flower by end off this month. Happy Growing

09.10 After the problem with the brown spots on the Gorilla Cookies on the left did get worse I decided to flush with 60l auf just ph‘ed water. Runoff ph tended towards 7 when I poured the first liters in and ended up at around 6.4. After the soil was dry again I fed her again but took a lighter dosage. The other Gorilla Cookies does also have some brown spots but not nearly as much as the other one. I went here also easy with nutrients and it didn’t get worse for some time now. I think she needs 2 more weeks until I can harvest her. The Mango Smile got the stretch I was hoping for and is now the biggest plan in my tent. Hopefully she is done soon though 😄.

what can I say over 7 ft tall now which is impressive in this drought with only the pittance of water I've been giving them once a week. Just goes to show you that my water conservation techniques work. They are both starting to smell like a hint of chocolate and peanut butter. Can't wait to see how these ones smoke. They are also into full pre flower and should be in full flower by next weekend.

Right then 7 weeks of flower complete. I'll dive right in to the juicy bits as this week has been predominantly about deciding weather to chop or keep one of my girls going. In the end I chose to do both! As the photos and videos show the plant wasn't recovering so I checked the trichomes and it was actually pretty ripe. A few Amber's on the upper buds. Lowers still undeveloped so I decided to take the biggest and leave the smallest for another week or while ever the plant is healthy. I estimate I've taken around 7oz once dry. Depending how they swell up I'm hoping for a further 5oz of solid bag worthy nugs. Looking nice and frosty, smell is that typical sweet haze with some sour diesel/fruit kick in there. You can see how the photos progress my hands getting covered in resin. Got to give my other 3 some love as they are getting healthier and fatter. I'm thinking another week on one of them and 2 on the others. I'll more than likely stagger the harvest like tonight if it proves worth while. I will update mid week.

Barneys Farm Pineapple Chunk update 5th Jan 2020 11th week of veg over and done with. Ive done quite a bit since the last update as far as this girl is concerned 1st of all i erected a greenhouse that covers all of my Photo period plants. and secondly I transplanted the Pineapple chunk out of the pot she was in and put her straight into the ground so I'm expecting and hoping that she will explode once the stretch starts in about 5 weeks or so. The soil I moved her into is really nice and fertile as it was used to grow winter vegetables and Broad beans. The growing of legumes can benefit the soil by bringing nitrogen to the surface to be made available to anything else growwing in the same soil. I gave the area I transplanted her into a good dose of Azospirillum and Mycorrhizal innoculants after she went into the ground. Thankyou for checking out my update see you next week 👍

I have gone through the tent this week, and I have removed a lot of the lower branches on the plants, as they're not going to grow into big colas or anything. So it's better not to waste the plant's energy, developing those to hopefully redirect it into the larger flowers. Orion F1 organic, dry amendments. The plant is really developing the flowers while they look really dense, and like they will be some very top shelf buds! The buds are beginning to stack on weight now, and hopefully, we'll just see the colas become larger and larger as we go on from here! I'm really impressed with this plant so far, and the organic dry amendments are really working wonders, and that's been really eye-opening for me during this experiment! I'm very pleased that Royal Queen Seeds were kind. Enough to allow me to try this experiment with some of the F1 hybrid strains. It has been, and continues to be an extremely exciting experiment, and I am again learning more and more with each plant. I cannot wait for harvest and to see what these buds look like after I've dried and trimmed them! 3.8.25: I watered with 2ltrs of dechlorinated water PH'd to 6.2 with; 💜 1ml Trace PH: 6.2 PPM: 371 I've just been keeping the medium, not bone dry, but there were some fungus gnats. Hi Guys Sorry I havent got around to updating this Ive been moving stuff around and having a clear out in my flat we have decided to kit out the room and try to get a little bit more yield from some more plants which new diary will be created for both rooms :) starting with jack herer clones around 28 I have :) around 4 LED lights so far 2 10 inch extractors and a shit ton of fans lol these plants had to be moved to a friends house in order to set them up but they are still alive and kicking that is my friend on the video the first two plants are mine :) the first one is the melon and the larger one is the gorilla :)
